I ordered hot Oolong tea, and it was peach flavored. It was not marked as such on the menu, called dragon oolong. I said something to the server, as I was only expecting plain oolong hot tea. My girlfriend and I both ordered the surf and turf meals. It sounded so good in the menu. When it came out it only had like two tiny pieces of lobster and the dish had no seasoning to it. The food was really good and our waiter Jarod was really great. I went with my sister for her birthday and they gave her a free dessert and a card which we thought was really cool of them. The prices aren't the cheapest but for a special night, we were certainly happy with going here. PF Chang is a high end Chinese restaurant with Chinese cuisines on the menu. It's pricey during dinner time, but the lunch menu is practically half the price with smaller portions. Unfortunately, we arrived after the lunch time ended at 3 pm. The atmosphere was very good. They are separating guests due to COVID. All staff were wearing masks. You have to scan the menu with your cell phone. At that time they didn't have paper menus except for the bar drinks. Our waiter, Will, was very attentive to our needs. The food was delicious. My wife had her favorite Kum Pao spicy shrimps with brown rice and I had the usual, Sweet and sour Chicken with white rice. Our appetizer was a California roll and lettuce chicken wraps. It was a very nice restaurant for Date night, with your favorite partner and enjoy a wonderful Chinese meal. It was my birthday and mom was visiting and we decided to try this place. We had spare ribs as appetizers and they were pretty good. More a glaze than traditional Chinese but still very good. Next had the beef and broccoli and it came out hot and fresh. Very mild flavor but my mom is not a hot person so she loved it. We did get a free dessert since I joined the birthday club. Banana spring rolls with Carmel sauce and ice cream. Excellent. Definitely try again. Maybe choose a spicy dish. Bartender and manager very friendly and nice. read more

What can I say...the service at this location needs major improvements! My wife and I went out for a nice dinner date our experience kind of ruined the night. Super slow wait times to get your food and it wasn't even that busy for the amount of servers and food runners that were on shift. Manager never came over to see how we were or so that I can bring up some of our concerns. Tables that were sat way after us including a party of 12 received their food before us. I had a free reward with my Warriors card that I was told I couldn't redeem because we ordered off the pre-fixe menu. We ordered an add'l appetizer on top of the free appetizer that came with pre-fixe so I don't see what the issue was. The food was great though and that is the reason for the 3 stars. The lettuce wraps are always a safe tasty bet, dynamite shrimp are like the bang bang shrimp from Bonefish which are excellent, and almost all the entrees are great. With some fine tuning this place will do great but as you can see I'm not the only one addressing the service issues here and several others were experiencing the same problems while we were dining. One plus..I made a reservation off of the PF Changs app and walked right in a few minutes before our time and were seated right away. I hope more places can do this as it was easy! read more

I love P.F. Changs! The one here ,located in Clearwater, is amazing. It just recently opened and I must say, the service was great. My friend and I had a super nice waitress. She gave us refills without having to ask, constantly checked up on us, and even made jokes. The manager also walked by our table to make sure everything was well. Of course, the food was delicious. All of it was cooked properly and exactly how we told the waiter. If you love Chinese, I highly recommend you go to this P.F. Changs. read more

I love PF Chang's (eaten at PF Chang's for 10+years in multiple states and has always been consistent) but this location is very different than any other one. I've tried this location 3 times thinking that it was a one off but it's consistently bland. The egg drop soup is a totally different no-salt recipe. The other dishes are bland as well, and I've tried several. My advice is if you are not on a low sodium diet go to the Tampa location. Worth the extra drive! read more

On July 24th I had visited P.F.Changs in Westfield Mall in Clearwater, Florida. First of all, we had placed our orders which were pretty basic, and we had waited over a 1/2 hour to be served. The entrees arrived absolutely cold, and they must have been sitting quite a while before being delivered to our table. Regarding silverware, there was only two forks and a napkin at our table. When I called the food delivery person back and had asked for a spoon to scoop up the entrée and rice, I was told that the silverware is currently being washed, and after about 15 minutes I called my waiter, and he profusely apologized for the mishap, and in a few minutes returned with two spoons. By this time the entire meal was so cold, and not fit to eat. Additionally, there were also no knifes present on the table. Pretty basic stuff that you would expect at a P.F. Changs. Believe me, I'm not faulting the staff as it seemed like they were performing their job without direction. If you are in a restaurant, and you are making a complaint to your server, management should step in and make it right. If I write my concerns to corporate giving my name, phone number, street address, and email address, I expect an intelligent response. However, in two weeks I've received nothing. In this day and age, we have a choice, and I will not dine at an establishment which has entirely ruined my special night out, and does not consider the basic needs of a very loyal customer. Like they say buyer beware as this location seriously has a management problem. And for corporate to entirely dismiss my concerns this is entirely unacceptable! read more

I went back. I had PF's new menu item, the Fire Cracker Chicken. I spoke to the manager. She said it was made fresh, and it's just not. I'm confident she doesn't know what fresh is. The Fire Cracker Chicken was bland and frozen chicken with whatever magic sauce the company sends but under no circumstances was it 'spicy'. Even the rice they served wasn't fresh. If you've ever boiled water, made rice and left it in the fridge for a day or so, you know what PF's rice tastes like. So how and why the Clearwater PF Chang's serves reheated rice is beyond me. To the Manager at PF's, you're a sucker: the kitchen is screwing you over. Please have an adult saute fresh sliced chicken breast with chilies for you, then apologize for the crap you gave me. So, if this rating was only for the food, it would be a 4. I love the food at P.F. Chang's. Unfortunately, the service took our experience down a notch. I'm going to chalk this up to the fact that the restaurant opened recently, and they are still getting in the swing of things. I consulted the website before making a reservation for dinner, and I noticed that it said they offer a happy hour every day from 4-6pm. So, I made our reservation for 5:30 so we could enjoy a cocktail and appetizer. Well, when we sat down and I asked the waitress if she had the happy hour menu, she said they don't do happy hour on the weekends. Um. I pulled up the website and showed her, and they said they'd honor the price, which was good at least! But still - misleading information nonetheless. Our appetizers arrived very promptly, but we ended up waiting about 40 minutes after we put in our order for dinner for it to arrive. Our waitress was kind, but definitely not great at her job that evening. My husband and I both ordered cocktails; when they were empty, she never asked us if we wanted another (which was a missed opportunity for her, since we both would have asked for a second drink, but instead we just had water the rest of the night). It really cooked my grits a bit because she DID ask my dad multiple times if he wanted refills on his tea. What the heck? Is there a 1 cocktail limit at P.F. Chang's that I don't know about? But I digress... Because of the delay for our entrees, the manager ended up removing the price of our appetizers off of our bill and threw in some dessert for us, which we appreciated. As for the food and drinks - they were fantastic. No complaints there! Definitely try the Chinese 88 martini if you are looking for a cocktail - it's one of my all time favorites. The chicken lettuce wraps are always a good choice for an appetizer, as well as the ginger chicken with broccoli for an entree. So, don't get me wrong - we are definitely going to be back to this location...but we might wait a few more weeks to let them get all the kinks worked out and running smoothly. read more

PF Chang's is the place to go for commercialized, Americanized "Chinese" food. In other words, it's not a bad meal at all, but is it authentic? Not really. One thing that i do prefer here over other chinese restaurants is the nice modern and upscale decor. That does make the experience nicer than some hole in the wall asian restaurants around town. I had visited the Tampa location a few times in the past and finally decided to try this one to appease a friend visiting from out of town. We went for an early saturday lunch and it was not busy at the time of our visit. The server was friendly and attentive and came to help us right away when we sat down, but didn't quite go out of her way to help. We ordered the lettuce wraps to start, which I did like, but then I had egg drop soup as part of our lunch special, which is a "no-go" in my book , but when I asked if they could substitute for won ton instead, the answer was a plain and simple "no" from the server. Would have gone a long way with me to do that basic substitution, oh well. I also got the orange chicken for an entree, which was boring and a bit lacking. Once again, it's a typical Americanized Chinese dish. This particular visit to PF Chang's took place a few months ago for me (just now remembered to review it) and i haven't been back since. While it was okay and i can see why other people like it, I would prefer a more authentic Asian experience at a thai or vietnamese spot. read more

Not bad...not great. We had to order more sauce for the kung pow chicken as it was underseasoned and dry. The black pepper calamari appetizer was good. I used to love PF CHANGS ...but the serving size and food quality do not seem to be the same as 10 years ago. Disappointed!! I ordered a to go order for my family and it wasn't cheap. First, we had a ridiculous wait time to pick up the order but, I thought it was because of staffing shortages. The first container I opened was the Mongolian Beef. I said a curse word out loud... it was a half-order and was dry. The Honey Chicken looked like it was a mix of an old order and a new order that was sitting. The breading was falling off and it was also dry. The extra sauce that I ordered was gelatin like... never seen that before. The Lo Mein wasn't even good. I called and spoke with Amy (Manager). I opted for the food to be remade because I had hungry teenagers here. The food is being picked up and I pray it's good. PLEASE remember that the quality of food is super important especially at your prices. Please get it together!! The food I received this evening gets a half-star. But, because of Amy's professionalism and calming nature, I am giving two stars. I appreciate the way she handled it. read more

It pains me to write this as a Changs lover and customer for nearly 20 years. But I'm compelled to do so by the decline of the quality of food, as well seeing the portion size rapidly declined over the past 2-3 yrs. I visited the Clw location last week and ordered one of my all time favs, one of their signature dishes, "Chang's Spicy Chicken ". The order was so small I thought it was a lunch portion (it was not) and it hardly any sauce (which has become the norm) So, we ordered extra and waited to given maybe a tablespoon of "extra" sauce. Ridiculous'! But the worst part was it tasted very different. I ask the waiter about it tasting different.. and with reluctance he finally gave up that they "had" changed the recipe, (I suppose without telling anyone). Why would you change a popular and proven "signature" dish ? But.. it's been my experience that Chang's has a habit of doing things like this. I've seen many favorite items pulled on and off the menu w/o notice. Many of my favorites have been long gone. But I thought the signature dishes would always be safe. I guess I was wrong. They also changed the old stand by "salt & pepper prawns", by adding a heavy batter to them making it a much heavier dish. We didn't care for it and now it's another dish we won't be ordering again. The other issue we had on last visit was we were met with dozens of fruit flies. They were swarming around our table so much I put a napkin over my soda. I thought we'd have to move. I mentioned it to the waiter, who simply shrugged his shoulders and ask if we wanted another table. This was very disturbing. I've watched Bar Rescue & John Taffer enough to know what even one fruit fly means. So I'm sad to say I doubt we'll be returning to my old favorite . The have slowly become just another chain that seems uninterested in maintaining its quality & portions. Changing things that shouldn't be changed, while possibly neglecting the obvious. And... at least at this one location, coming up short on the cleanliness (fruit flies). Goodbye old friend, we had a good run! read more

What can I say? Great service (especially by our server Ryan)! I tend to be a "mom & pop" restaurant supporter and rarely go to chain restaurants but P.F. Chang's does everything right. All the staff here were so friendly and helpful. Cleanliness is at an all time high. I like that they serve traditionally and family style. I shared a pot of oolong tea with my boyfriend, along with the dry rub ribs, Buddha's feast (a dish with baked tofu and mixed vegetables. served steamed or stir-fried) and a side of hot & sweet brussel sprouts. All the dishes were so fresh and delicious. The dry rub ribs are my favorite! They are sooo tender and fell right off the bone. This place is great for a date or a family, a must try. read more

Reviews for this chain are difficult for me. While I know that this is a pan-Asian, commercialized restaurant, I still kind of enjoy the place. My wife and I had a gift card to blow on a date night, and it wasn't all that bad of an experience. The prices, mind you, are high. Other reviewers have mentioned this, of course, but it is painfully true when you look over the menu. The food is relatively good, but there is that oily feeling of being ripped off, sitting underneath it all. After a bit you begin to think that the food isn't all THAT good, and the cycle renews itself. One recommendation: the dumplings come with a wonderful dipping sauce. It can't be very good for you, but paired with the dumplings it makes a great taste combination. We sat at the bar because that night the entire place was packed. It was mostly a white, yuppie crowd (that's not the business' fault, though), and they will pay high prices for anything just to say they've done it. As busy as this was, the bartender was very friendly, and we did not wait very long between moments of attention. She was very accepting of gift cards, presented from the phone instead of a physical card. The bathrooms were spotless, and the floor was somehow free of napkins and other detritus that one might easily find on a busy night (I may not have been clear that it was fully packed in there. I mean you have to plan ahead for trips to the bathroom in order to navigate the room in the best possible manner.) The food here is worse than any Chinese / Asian food place I have ever eaten. I ordered the Mongolian beef $19.00 / Sesame chicken $15.00 and the Chicken Lo mein $11.50 and all 3 were horrible. The worst part is I got instant Diarrhea after eating this food and wasted almost a whole roll of toilet paper and in the time of coronovirus toilet paper is like gold. I am not sure how people can eat this crap or how they stay in business charging Disney World prices for Mc donalds level food but I will NEVER eat here again or give it another chance even if my meal is free. read more

Didn't start off well....I ordered a Seven and Seven with two cherries...Came out with no cherries.. I know not a big deal. But as I picked up the glass to take my first sip I noticed a gnat in my drink. I told my wife and she looked only to discover two additional ones I didn't notice. It was replaced with vodka and tonic at no charge. Food..Overall I am not impressed. Although the food was good it didn't have the "WOW" factor I was looking for from the renowned P.F. Chang's.. You can no doubt get the same food and more of it for half the price. I am rating it at a three because the drink issue might of just started it off bad. So while I will give it another try I won't be running back anytime soon. read more

Our work staff went for lunch today to PF Changs. The server was very attentive & the food was prepared fast. The menus we were given were full of high dollar meals, but then someone noticed that hidden on the back page was a small lunch menu with the same meals lunch-sized at much more reasonable prices. Someone made the comment that you'd think the waitress would have let us know there was a separate lunch menu. Once we received our lunch portions everyone liked their meals. I ordered the Korean Barbecue Chicken. It was excellent. The chicken came in bite-sized pieces with a delicious sauce mixed with a few vegetable pieces. The sauce was a little spicy as the menu had noted. The spice level was perfect for me. I totally loved my dish. Great lunch. read more

Tonight my father, his brother (visiting from Illinois), and I went to the P.F. Chang's at Westfield Countryside Mall. Our server was a respectful young man named Caleb with a very lovely manner, whom we instantly liked. I noticed there was a special Valentines Day menu, with meals for two, and really loved the look of the Firecracker Chicken. I asked Caleb if it was available in an individual portion, and he said he would find out. It wasn't a big deal at all, and I didn't want him to go to any trouble, so I said, "That's okay, I'll just have the hot & spicy chicken." He brought our meals and we started to eat, and a minute later he was back with another plate, which he slid onto the table saying, "And firecracker chicken for you, on the house." I can't compliment this young man and the service he provided enough. He went above and beyond above and beyond, in my opinion. What a great thing to do! We all tried it and all agreed it was delicious, and I was happy to have something to take home to my daughter. I have never been disappointed in P.F. Chang's, and this is a perfect example of why; I've always been as impressed with their service as I am with their food. read more

The menu is a retool of the classic Chang's fair. The lettuce wraps are still filling and offer a lighter start to any meal. If you come on the weekend try the new pairing menu. I always wanted to Try P.F. Chang, and I finally went there for the first time for my friend's birthday party... the food was horrible. it was a party of 23 and no one finished their food. I also ordered their fire and ice dessert, the presentation was very nice but the dessert itself was drier than Popeye's biscuit. the service was great, but food was not, I don't know if it was busy and the kitchen was rushing but boyyyyy. P.F. Chang please please do something to make your food taste better, you guys are making these Asian folks look bad! If you can't cook Asian food right then don't cook it at all. read more

We went online to checkout the menu. We've been to the one in Naples and liked it a lot. We thought it strange that there were no prices. Nonetheless, having been there before, we continued with our order over the phone with a young lady. We wanted curbside pick up, but my husband still had to go in and pay as they wouldn't accept payment over the phone. He went in and picked up the food. $83. When he got the bill it wasn't itemized and when he asked about it, the woman said she was too busy to get the details!????? We got home to hot and sour soup. Flavorless with only vinegar to season it. I threw it out. Pork fried dumpling were ok. Kung Pao Chicken was horrible with breaded chicken! My husband had Mongolian Beef and it was as tough and gristly. Inedible. I would definitely stay away from this P.F. Chang's until they get their act together. This review is about this location only. Hadn't been to PF Chang's in three years and thought it would be a good option for dinner. In spite of not so good reviews, made a reservation. The moment we were there, I started to realize the truth on the reviews I read. Made a reservation, but still we had to wait for 20 minutes for a table. Cocktails were good, but the food was below average - didn't live up to the brand's standard at all. No flavor, inconsistent portions, and service was not that great either. Overall, it was not a good dining experience and I am not sure if I would ever go back or recommend to anybody. read more
