One of the better PF Changs we've ever tried... The service was fast and friendly (we sat at the bar). Took advantage of their lunch pairings. Both of us had soup -- served hot and fast. The egg drop was delicious! Not that usual fake yellow thick liquid or chicken stock; this was brown, flavored with bits of carrots and French fried onions as well as the beaten in egg. Honestly -- just great. My colleague said the same about his hot & sour soup -- some of the best he's had anywhere. The chicken lettuce wrap portion was huge. Thought the lunch portion would be smaller for some reason. Bits of chicken mixed with crunchy water chestnuts, etc over a bed of white crispy noodles served with a chunk of iceberg lettuce (the wrap part). Wound up eating most of it without the lettuce. Very good -- just so much food. The sauce served on the side was a bit spicy for me but it would be good to add a little punch. Think next time I'll ask for some hoisin... This is an establishment I frequent quite a bit. It's an upscale Chinese restaurant. The ambiance is great and they offer a full liquor bar. My favorites are the orange chicken, egg drop soup, and lettuce wraps. The fried green beans are good too, but taste like they were previously frozen. My issue with rating this restaurant high is that you never know what you are going to get with food quality/service. I have had absolutely outstanding service and I have had experienced people I wanted to scream at (former server). Also, as the chefs and shifts changes, so does the quality of food. Went to dinner on 11/19 at 6:15. Seated in bar area in booths to the left. Ordered coconut mojito delicious as always. Always my favorite cocktail. Ordered crispy green beans, crab wontons at same time. Crab wontons came out first and we were told the green beans come off different line. But she can from same side of kitchen. They were delivered 5 minutes later. Ordered entrees Mongolian beef and orange chicken with egg rolls. Egg rolls come out like 10 minutes later and food arrives 20-25 mi it's later. My chicken is cold and so is the Mongolian beef. MIL was hungry so she ate hers they remade mine. The restaurant is not even busy. But keep getting excuses the kitchen is backed up. So, I finally wanted to try it for myself. The mixed reviews here made both my husband and I very weary though. It was a Sunday night and while waiting our five minutes to get a table we witness a waitress arguing with two customers who had been waiting for their food for quite a while. Immediately I was contemplating leaving but the hostess assured us that our waiter was good. She was right. Ryan is a great waiter and saved this review to be honest. Even a few customers took pictures with him, not sure why but still was very opposite what we saw upon arrival. We ordered the 2 for $40 soup, appetizer, entrée and dessert. I was not disappointed in this choice as it was a way for us to get variety. I'd give our meal 4 stars. OK, here's the deal, DO NOT come on a Sunday evening. It is the day before they receive a new shipment of food and the end of the weeks old stuff was coming out. There were many items that they ran out of and they were giving out things to compensate for their customer's dissatisfaction. Place is an absolute joke. Visited on a weekend day, prime lunch time. Where do I start? When we arrived we were met by a rude female manager who obviously thought we were annoying because we wanted to get a table here. We arrived at about 12:45pm, prime lunchtime. Manager said there was a 5-10 minute wait... even though the restaurant was 2/3 empty!! We asked if the bar seating was open, and she scoffed and said only the bar chairs. We put our name in and sat, and as we did a Pizza Delivery service showed up with about 10 pizzas for the staff at PF Changs. I thought this was funny because we were at this particular restaraunt to eat, yet there was a wait in a 2/3 empty restaurant and the staff here was obviously going to be taking time to eat pizza now while customers waited. We got seated after about 5 minutes, and as we were sat we were told they had no menus and to scan a code to bring up the menu.. or our server (which we never saw) could bring us one. Why not just give us a menu if we are seated? Made ZERO sense. We sat at a table with hardly anyone in the restaurant and noticed that the few people in here seemed to be waiting for service and there was no service staff to be seen, only a busboy with nothing to do. After 10 full minutes, we only saw one waitress and she checked out the table next to us... but other than that, no one. We decided to get up and leave because of the lack of service (pretty sure everyone was in back enjoying the Pizza Party!) while the few customers in the dining area were left for nothing. I must also mention the state of the restaurant- the covered pleather seats in the bench seats were SHREDDED, ie, in awful condition and not what you would expect for a $20+ a plate national chain restaurant like this. If they don't care about replacing seat covers, it makes you wonder what else they are skimping on. It certainly showed in management that they didn't care.. long waits with a mostly empty seating area, with no care for customers. Food was good. Everything else, pass. Found a seat in the bar. Ordered drinks. Came about 10 minutes later. Ordered an app, brussel sprouts. Good. Ramen and street noodles. Both good. Like the hot mustard sauce. Went to use our gift card. Told the server there is $50 on it. Use that and charge the rest. He came back and said there was a problem with the gift card. There was 3 cents on it. He had charged the remainder to the credit card. We asked if he had called about the gift card discrepancy. He had not. We asked why he charged the remainder to the credit card without checking with us first. We asked why he did not talk to us once the gift card issue arose. He really had no response to any of it. We asked for the manager. Who came. We asked the same questions. He had not called customer service and said "we can." I was already on the phone with them... We asked why the server sent the charges through not he credit card already without checking with us. The manager said well he should not have done that. We asked why noone told use about the issue prior to charging the credit card and we were told they did not know. And then followed up with there is nothing that can be done. Wow. Just like that huh? I have to say that is not the way to my heart. I found out from the person at customer service someone used the card in November 2019 in CA. I informed her of the fraud and she said that is a Corporate issue and they are not open right now. Call them tomorrow through this same number. I asked her "Is there anything at all that you can do for me right now?" She said there is nothing she could do. Corporate motto much? Sorry, nothing we can do. Sorry nothing we can do. Sorry nothing we can do. Three times in under 10 minutes. And NOONE was even trying other than ME! The server, the manager just stood by as I did all of the work. Completely embarrassed and mortified that someone had used my gift card and there was zero sympathy by them. Just stared at me. I just called Corporate as instructed to do. Noone works the weekends. 8 AM to 5 pm Arizona time. Great. Press 1 to leave a message. I press 1 and am told "this is not a valid option." I try two more times and get the same response and am then promptly hung up on. I call customer service back. Explain the situation. Was provided a phone # which I called. There is no message on the voicemail. Just leave a message. I am guessing that is not the correct number. Going to google it next, turns out he said 408 and it is actually 480. Another thing I had to do to get to an answer regarding this issue. At this point I just want my $50 back and I will walk away. It is ridiculous that companies/corporations thing they can treat customers this way. They become such giants that they have completely lost sight of the 'little guy' that frequents their establishment. We will see how they manage my contacts with customer service. More to come. So pfchangs contacts me about this review. Asks me to contact Corporate. I have emailed Corporate since the morning after this event. I have not gotten a response from them. So, you can ask me to contact Corporate all you want but if Corporate does nothing, what's the point. I will keep trying but their philosophy of just contact Corporate is flawed. My husband and I decided to have lunch at P.F. Chang's after shopping at Countryside Mall. This was my first dining experience at a P.F. Chang's. We were greeted right away entering the restaurant. The service was prompt and polite. The place is very clean. Now as for the food, overall it is okay. The Mongolian beef was good. But the rest was average. Honey crispy shrimp was very tiny portioned for lunch. Egg drop soup was not traditional...they put lots of veggies in it. Steam rice is not sticky rice...bummer! Fried rice was okay. For lunch we spent $25 for two entrees without tip. I think I have better luck finding a better food and cost at a takeout Chinese. read more

I like PF Changs -- nice menu and good food at decent (but upscale) prices. This particular location is fairly new, having been built as part of a renovation of the west end of the mall. The problem with this particular restaurant is it's location. It is in the busiest part of Westfield Countryside Mall, and the parking is atrocious! It can be impossible to find a spot at peak times. It is close to the multiplex theater, which also means the parking is over over-run with teenagers and aggressive drivers cruising for a parking spot. I would come here more often if it was in a more accessible location. I will often skip this place, and others in the same area, just to avoid the mall traffic and parking hassle. read more

Came here for National Sushi Day and they gave free sushi rolls for California or Spicy Tuna Roll per person that day. They were very busy but still had great service and food came out in about 15-20 mins. Ordered the beef lo mein with it and it was delicious and a good size! This was our first time ordering dinner from this location. The estimated time was 40 minutes for it. That was no problem as we live close by. When it is time to pick up the food the tables were empty but there was numerous people waiting for pick up orders. Okay they're busy no problem, we didn't mind waiting a bit. Fast forward to another 20 minutes and we're still waiting for our food. If the wait was going to be closer to an hour why tell us different? I would have preferred waiting at my house versus the restaurant. We finally get our food after waiting over an hour. Since we live close it took us maybe 5 minutes to get home. As we start unwrapping the food, we noticed everything was cold! You could definitely tell the food was sitting out for at least 20 minutes. It was gross and unsatisfactory. It's really annoying to find out we weren't waiting for our food to be finished cooking but merely waiting for it to be packaged. I'm so disappointed with this experience I have no want to ever try this location again. read more

Celebrated my relative's birthday here. The service was very good. They're prompt, and they explain the menu well if you have vegetarian preferences. The only setback is that they put a lot of filler vegetables in their dishes like large chunks of broccoli. Solid performance. Service was great tonight although it was slow (night before Thanksgiving). Butternut Squash wontons were fantastic. I usually really like this place. I had a reservation for 7:30. When I arrived on time, I was a told they were running 30 minutes behind. After 30 minutes of waiting, I was told it would be another 15 minutes. After that, another 15 to 20 minutes. It seemed like EVERY person waiting had reservations. They completely over booked themselves. There really is no point of a reservation when you have to wait over an hour in the rain to be seated. We ended up going to another restaurant instead. Whoever is in charge of the reservation system, should apologize to the host staff. They are the ones having to deal with the two angry groups in front of me chewing them out about being overbooked. read more

So it wasn't our best Chang's experience...PF Chang's is one of our favorite places, but this hardly qualified as decent... Service was fair, but very slow. We sat in the bar and the server was stretched between too many tables. He had a good attitude though. Our lettuce wraps were a bit burnt...okay way burnt. Chang's chicken was okay. We ordered a dinner portion to split for lunch, but the lunch portion still came out. And they charged for a dinner order. Dan Dan noodles were cold and clumped together. The rice was awesome though. So we decided to check this place out. We imbibed on margaritas and their variation of the twisted tea. The drinks were good (but I think that was expected). We ordered the 2 for $39.95. Complete meal for two. Ton of food. I had the egg drop soup, he had wonton soup. We also got 4 egg rolls. Then the main course of Mongolian beef and orange peel chicken. So. Much. Food. But it was good. Couldn't finish half of the beef or chicken, which came with rice. The meal also came with dessert, which was boxed up with the rest of the left overs. So we have lunch for tomorrow! There is a P.F. Chang's in Hawaii, apparently, I've just never been there. It took a trip to Florida for me to get in here. This location is outside of a mall so it was convenient to me as I had to make a quick jaunt to the mall to pick up some stuff. I sat at the bar as I am on a business trip and alone (insert sad face here). The service was great, friendly and attentive. I had a couple of the happy hour items the dumplings and the lettuce wraps. These were excellent. Let me be clear: the food at P.F. Chang's is NOT Chinese food. It's like Chinese inspired food. But I like this kind of food. Calling P.F. Chang's Chinese would be like calling Chef Boyardee Italian. Anyway, for what it is, it tastes great. I also had the Mongolian beef which was just OK as this is one of the dishes I prefer to eat at a real Chinese restaurant. Love PG Chang's. But this particular one SUCKS so bad. People are incompetent- not once did I order something in the restaurant or even for pick up that there wasn't an issue with it. Most recently - yesterday - I placed order for pick up. Email confirmation said it would be ready at 5:05pm - order wasn't ready until 5:40pm so I stood in the hall corner (it's a small lobby) for 35min. Do you think anyone apologized or said anything? NOPE! Business as usual. I also asked in my notes for them to cut my food into bite size and mix it, because they have this new thing with Pad Thai where your food comes in these huge chucks and you have to cut it and mix it. I don't know whose idea this was but it's ridiculous - especially on to go orders because you don't have a knife to finish preparing the dish. Did they cut it - nope. Check out the photos and how large those onions and carrots are. And the big chunk is the fried egg. (Which is supposed to be scrambled into the dish.) Had a great time last night celebrating my nephews high school graduation. We had a large group and they were able to accommodate it without a problem. I would suggest calling ahead of time and making a reservation for large groups. Our party opted for a family style meal, where everyone ordered an entree and passed it around the table. This is definitely the way to go as you get to sample much more of the menu. The cocktails were also good. I had the Moscow mule(homemade ginger beer) while my husband opted for the Japanese Old Fashion. Will be back for sure! read more

Not sure why this has such a low rating, but for me, I have enjoined all my meals. I'm Pescatarian, mainly vegetarian. So it's hard to disappoint. I like stopping in on the weekends, sit at my same spot at the bar. Creature of habit. Annoys me if someone is sitting in MY spot. Unfortunately my coupon did not have anything stating on having to purchase a different entree besides a kids and a salad item but all over sushi wasn't that great. My pear mojito was pretty good.
