The cuddle fish was well fried and very crispy, the sauce that came with it tied everything together. Little sweet, little spicy, little hot of twang. Was amazing. Mapo tofu was extremely good, was exactly what I wanted after a long day. Smooth tofu, lots of spicy and tingly goodness, and the rice with it was perfect. Service was good, was really quick for pick up. And the place is super clean and really well spaced out inside. I would dine in here if I could have. Everything was DELICIOUS. The scallion bubble pancake came out HOT, like hurt-to-touch HOT. It was crispy and airy. It was served with a side of mild curry sauce. The noodles, lamb, and eggplant came out hot temperature-wise as well, but they were also hot spice-wise, especially the cumin lamb. The spice levels cleared my sinuses, LOL. But though I struggled with the spice, I kept on eating because all of the dishes were delicious and flavorful. The tender lamb was served on little skewers. The dry fried eggplant was super crispy; the pieces were shaped like spicy fries. I liked Grandma's noodles even more. The noodles had that bouncy, chewy, hand-pulled feel and were covered in vinegar & hot chili oil. I appreciated the portions. Despite being an appetizer, Grandma's Noodles came out on a large plate, and for being small plates, the eggplant and lamb were pretty filling. The service was also friendly and attentive. My food came out quick, and the staff constantly kept my glass of water filled. My only annoyance was the $1 charge for the bowl of white rice, but the food and service more than made up for that small, inexpensive annoyance.

The pace is fast in the restaurant and the service is attentive and once you order your food comes out quickly to the table. Every dish we ordered was delicious. It is one of those establishments that you want to hurry and eat as there are people waiting to be seated and you don't want to linger too long because that would not be fair to them. You have plenty of time and noone is rushing you you just know to be a decent human being you should eat and then leave promptly and not linger over empty dishes. Their portions are hearty though so you will most likely have take out to enjoy as well. I highly recommend this restaurant and if I lived closer I would frequent it often. I wish I could be more detailed about the dishes we ordered but I just don't remember but I still wanted to give them a good review. We were a party of 5 and found both the food and the service to be inconsistent. The Food: Most dishes were mediocre or worse. The Three Cups Chicken (1/5) was the worst I've ever had. The Hong Kong Style Shrimp (1/5) was just bland, tasteless fried shrimp. The Lamb with Scallion (2/5) was far too salty. The only "average" dish was the Spicy Beef and Tendon (3/5), but one decent dish can't save a meal this poor. The Service & Billing: The service was quite slow during our visit. We waited a long time for the check and eventually ended up packing our own leftovers and heading to the front counter to pay so we could head out. I was also surprised to see an automatic 20% gratuity added to the bill, especially since it was calculated on the total after tax ($23.07 tip on a $106.80 subtotal). While I understand automatic tips for groups, it felt a bit high due to poor services. There are a lot of great dining spots in the area, but based on this disappointing visit, I'm sure I would not return to this one.

At that time a lot of people were still in the place. However, by the time we received our checks we were the last people in their establishment. The other individuals were the workers cleaning up. I've patronized Wok about a half-dozen times in the past three months or so…read more I appreciate that there's a drive-thru, and I appreciate that online ordering is easy and accurate. Wok also does a good job for people with food sensitivities. I can't eat onions, and when I request no onions, there are no onions. (There are some exceptions, as with pre-purchased base items like rangoons or when they've made a large batch of something for the day). It's a particular treat for me to get basic fried rice with no onions instead of having to get plain white rice as I have at other Chinese restaurants. Unreasonable people might be angry that not every request can be accommodated or that it takes a few minutes for them to make items to order, but that's part of patronizing a public restaurant instead of paying for a private chef! I cannot overstate how important consistency is when dealing with allergens and sensitivities like this, and Wok has consistently left onions out of the items when requested. My family really appreciates the fresh vegetables, noting that it's restaurant quality spinach, mushrooms, zucchini, and broccoli in their soups and entrees--not overcooked, but fresh and hot. More expensive places often overcook the vegetables. My mother and husband both appreciate the soups, although the tomato and spinach wasn't as good to them as the rich wonton and the gently spicy sweet-and-sour; Mom was hoping for a tomato-based broth, and it was a simple vegetable broth that had added tomatoes and spinach. That's the only item on the menu we wouldn't recommend. This is a lower socio-economic area. Morrow is fortunate to have Wok, and I'm fortunate to live within a mile of it.
