This was our first visit to Pezcow. We LOVED it! Most of what we ordered was VERY spicy...which we loved. The service was great. Very attentive staff. You can tell that it is family owned/run, which is great. The ambiance is family style, with long tables. Only a few separate tables for those that cannot handle eating with others. My only Big complaint is that we were hit with a strong smell of cleaning fluid right when we walked in!! Not very appetizing at all. Happy to know that they clean, but they should reconsider their cleaning practices. We smelled it through dinner. I do believe that we will be back. It was to delicious to miss! read more

Could not pass up the Sunday brunch buffet (10a-2p, $25, all drinks included (only non-alcoholic for another couple months). Such an incredible variety... menudo, birria, steak chili, nopales salad, homemade flour tortillas, and a few other dishes i can't remember the name of. Someone here has probably taken a few pictures of the buffet. Everything was so full of flavor, service was attentive and friendly. Wow! What a great find! I found this place yelping, decided to try. We are in town visiting and this was our first stop. This place was very clean and nice, service was top notch. Now the food wow! Everything we had was so good. The rib eye was made to perfection it definitely serves 2-3 people. The tacos de picadillo were really good, Spicey with the touches of Habanero. The ceviche was very tangy, love the lemon, my brother-in-law had the Seafood Molcajete and he really enjoyed it. The appetizer chicharrón y guacamole was really good, it was nice and crispy and the guacamole was made fresh. The pizza was thin and crispy the crust was nice and toasty. It's too far to come again but for sure next time I'm in town I will be stopping by....now my one negative comment... they don't have alcoholic drinks except beer, I really wanted a Margarita but the Aguas Frescas were so good I forgive them read more

Wow! Impressive new Mexican food in Windsor. Original, fresh, tasty and unique. Interior is incredible. Hidden gem in the Castenedas shopping center. We had the Al pastor pizza, flautas ahogadas, taco pescado, carne en su jugo, and we started with queso fundido and guacamole with chicharon. All the food was excellent and unique. My husband and father in law discovered this New Mexican restaurant in Windsor. They had it for lunch today, came home and raved about it. We went for dinner too! It's tucked in the corner by the market. They have a temporary menu while they figure out what people like the most and come up with a normal menu. They have great service. Decently priced. Large plates. The food is DELICIOUS!! My kiddo got a normal size burrito and ate 3/4 of it. The entire time he was saying how good it was and the chicken was amazing. The chicken was juicy and flavorful. I got the floutas in a tomato sauce. So tasty and the chicken was moist and not over cooked. My husband got the Pizza de Asada and it was cooked perfectly in their wood fire pizza oven. My father in law got Caldo de Camaron which had a TON of shrimp in it. Hard to find place but food was super yummy and so well priced. We decided to come here during our small vacay to Windsor, we ordered from their menu on friday and we loved everything we ordered. We got the molcajete, the guacamole w/ chicharrones, ceviche, green aguachile, mojarra, tacos dorados, cocktail, and the large steak. Everything was yummy. Every dish here is delicious! Absolutely lovely family run restaurant! I'm so happy to have them in town. This is not your typical "Mexican" restaurant, this is regional food (coastal cuisine). All the ingredients are fresh..all the food is made to order and not reheated as is common in many restaurants. Please be patient when you come eat here..there is usually only one cook, who is amazing! Trust me, the food is worth the wait. Good, homemade food takes time. If you are in a hurry, go to McDonald's. They are trying to get their restaurant off the ground, and I, for one, will continue to support them. The restaurant is decorated like a Mexican hacienda, and you feel transported to a different place as soon as you walk inside. The staff is always so welcoming and accommodating. This is truly a family run business, and they all help each other out .. we have seen the cook help bus tables and bring chips and salsa and drinks to the tables when the wait staff is overwhelmed. I was routing for the restaurant but the service is horrible. I called in my order , waited 40 mins that's what they told me to wait. I arrived and they didn't have my order They have a phone service who calls in the order for you and apparently they never called in my order. I arrived to pick up and they ask to wait because my order was never called in. No apology no nothing. Wish u the best! Pleas fix your customer service! Outstanding food and service. We recently dined here with a group of 26. We have nothing to say, but good things. Different Mexican food, . 5 of our group had marisco molcajete, a huge serving of fresh seafood, crab, mussels, octopus, all enjoyed it and it was large enough to take some home. The chicken mole and pina rellena (stuffed pineapple) also had good reviews. They accommodated our large group, serving all of us in a timely manner and all meals were served about the same time. Went for lunch to this new family owned Mexican restaurant in Windsor Palms Plaza. Started with delicious guacamole and chips. My wife got a fish taco made with Tilapia and I got a whole deep fried Tilapia with rice and salad. We were both very happy with our choices. The whole fish is also available with spicey sauce which I will try next time. Seating is mostly at long tables. The seafood at this new Windsor restaurant is mind-blowingly good. I ordered caldo de 7 mariscos and a spectacular bowl arrived brimming with half a crab, mussels, scallops, octopus, shrimp and more, in a steaming rich, fragrant broth. I'm a big eater and I couldn't finish it. My wife ordered the mixed ceviche and got a huge schooner filled to the brim with shrimp, octopus and calamari with vegetables in a spicy red sauce topped with avocado...just like it is served in many parts of Mexico. Why didn't we hear about this new spot 2 months ago when they opened, and not the day before we are literally moving to Nevada?!? Lol. It's delicious, and I admire the fact that they've gone totally legit with their menu and authentic food (but also pizzas!) Not your typical nachos and burritos taqueria, but lots of seafood and some things I've never even heard of and can't wait to try. They have a wood burning pizza oven and the whole inside is decorated around it, with a ton of colorful tile work. Came in tonight for dinner to celebrate my mother-in-laws birthday, and the service was the absolute worst experience I've ever encountered, especially considering I worked in the hospitality industry for years. The food was good, my table had no complaints on that but our party was appalled by the way our server never came to check on us and we had to be flagging her down whenever we needed something. Plus being charged $15 for cake service that was non exsistant; all that our server did was bring out some plates and a dirty knife which I ended up wiping with a wet napkin before we cut our cake. Our waitress stayed in the back during our time in the restaurant chatting with the back of house staff and prioritizing the other patrons. Meanwhile, our party was constantly having to get her attention, and it was not at all busy in the building for her to completely ignore our table. Will not be coming back after this encounter. Please consider consider going elsewhere that has better service, El Gallo Negro across the way has far better service and I recommened you consider going there before you choose here. We had come last year for two big birthday celebrations and that's why we decided to come back again this year to celebrate but never again. read more

Since it was brunch I expected maybe some chips, salsas, fruit, dessert & drinks and more varieties of sauces. I guess I just had high expectations from the reviews & from my last experience at an all you can eat mole restaurant in San Rafael. The one in San Rafael was loaded with options it was overwhelming tbt plus they offered fruits, desserts & Mexican coffee & chocolate at the same price.
