Oh my, this PetSmart is so pretty and well-stocked. It's the first one I've ever been to with a Dog Park and a freezer for human drinks, like cola and water. I found all that I needed, like the scissors with the ballpoint to cut around the eyes and nose and the on-the-shoulder carrier in pink and in large. Lulu might be a Yorkie, but she's a big girl at 16 pounds. The store is a good size, and each aisle is well organized. I tell you, nothing was out of place. But more importantly, I was able to stock up on her food. Normally, I have to go to several stores because there's not enough, and I like to leave some food behind for the next person. But not here; I could get more than needed, and plenty was left for the next furbaby owner. The customer service was great; the salesperson asked me if she needed to read the label for me because I was squinting trying to see the tiny words... Lol.

    My dog before the haircut

Last monday we took our puppy to the grooming service and we asked for the full haircut. He had long hair and we wanted something cute for his hair. When I was there I showed to the grooming lady the picture of what I want it, the classic yorkie hairstyle (the second picture). So, she took a picture of this picture and told me that she got it and if she had a question she will call me (She never called). When I went to picked him up... he was a totally different dog!! They couldnt explain me what happened and the groomer was not nice at all!! I want to clarify that my dog didnt have any hair knot!!! I brushed his hair just before the appointment to be sure and I told the lady in the front desk to touch him and be sure of that because I know that they make you pay extra if they find hair knot! I made the complain in the website and it have been almost a week and no one has contact me!!! This is not fair!!! I will not go back to these stores!!

    Choppy cut by Kendriona

I had been going to petsmart for years but will not be returning. I've had bad experiences the last few times and They are now charging a "handling fee" if your dog needs an "experienced groomer" to cut the hair. Kendriona cut my dogs hair; it is extremely choppy and uneven. Hair is longer in different places like she missed spots. Did not follow the notes at all. Overpriced. I wish Nakita still worked there, she cut my dog's hair so perfect.

I have let my beautiful pup willow stay here at the pup hotel ( i think) might have been banfield and she came back sad and upset and she starting going the bathroom inside the house. They treated her badly abs she smelled like pee, she was throwing up constantly and i'm wondering if they fed her!

    Now I'm Stressed.

I did took my baby to this store for grooming and she came back so stressed shaking her head all day and with some red spots BTW I did pay 124.00$ for this ? Is awful to have some people in the business who don't love or appreciate what they're doing.!! I feel shamed because now I got to pay extra to get her recover.

I've taken my oldest dog to this location for a few years and have never had problems until the past two times. I've had to take her back to get her nails, re-trimmed because it didn't even look like they trimmed her nails. Went in today with my oldest dog, who is nine and my youngest, who has one they would not do my one year old dog's nails, because he was too crazy said I needed to give him medicine before bringing him in. They did my nine year olds nails in less than five minutes. They are snagged and not all of her nails or even trimmed. I will not be taking my fur babies back to there. The only person that does a great job is Krystal.

I had my dog groomed by Emma today at Petsmart. She called to say my dog was rolling on the table and had snapped. These are highly unusual behaviors for my dog. I have watched him be groomed with no restraint on a table in the past and typically he is sweet and wants to please. Here is an explanation for his behaviors and why I will not go to Petsmart or, specifically, Emma, again: Petsmart dog grooming can be a stressful place for dogs. My dog is young and still learning to be groomed. Previously his groomer would put him in the carrier and allow him to adjust to his setting before working with him. I specified that I would like them to take their time. He was done in less than 2 hours. He rolled on the table because she was using too much restraint. Instead of trying verbal commands, she was trying to restrict his movement. If she had spoken to him, he would have listened. He snapped when she groomed his feet because dogs in the wild who had paw injuries could be in mortal danger. He felt threatened and she did not take the time through petting and speaking to relax him, putting him in a fight or flight situation. This was unnecessary. I hope this helps inform other dogs owners. I was also charged $100 for a botched groom job.

groomer ruined baby Zena's shiny black coat. In for trim not chopped off to undercoat. Kristina did a horrible job
    Sylvia B.

Petsmart groomer Kristina ruined my baby Zena's shiny black coat. In for a bath & trim not chop off all of her shiny black coat to her undercoat. In what world would anyone do that to a 2yr old husky/shepherd mix. Mgr, Nikta says blade used will take off more hair than I had been shown. I could care less about not paying. If I could give no stars I would. I've been to this place several times and never had this problem. I surprised no other groomers stopped her and said wait that's not right. I am never taking 2 dogs back to incompetence. Someone should trained better common sense to groomers and the groomer never even apologized for her mistake -no accountability.

We initially thought we'd foster her for adoption due to her dog aggression issues. After working with Travis, we decided togive Rosie a forever home ourselves. We brought Travis in to privately train her so she didn't have to deal with the stress of a group setting and because we wanted a tailored training program. With Lone Star Dog Training, we received an excellent job. Travis educated us about how training is important and what results he felt we could see. Over the course of 4 months, Rosie went from being aggressive toward our other dogs to feeling safe and comfortable with them. She's even adopted our 12 year old border terrier as her sister. Rosie has progressed from a frightened stray who did not wag her tail or understand how to take affection, to bounding and leaping with joy when she sees her people. She now seeks out our affections and looks forward to spending time with us. If not for Lone Star Dog Training, we would not have decided to keep her. It showed us what a wonderful, fun and loving dog Rosie is. Thank you, Travis , for your dedication and patience with us.

When I reached out to Michael I didn't think that much can be done, but now I see a light at the end of a very, very long tunnel :). All our sessions have been online so far, as few days before our first scheduled meeting the stay at home order was placed. Online conference worked just as well for us, and we didn't have to delay the training any longer. A recent addition- online "support group" where his customers can share ideas and chat is a great idea too! Overall, I couldn't be happier with the decision to work with Michael.

Thanks to the training, we have an energetic sweet boy instead of a lot of stress and worry.

Our trainer, Monica, was excellent with Daisy and what I loved most about her was that she would explain to us how she was training our dog and also why she would do something a certain way. A lot of times she would comment about how this reinforces some sort of behavior or would boost Daisy's confidence, etc. At one point of our training Daisy didn't take well to the previous lesson (down lesson) and Daisy wasn't receptive to the next training session and was extremely nervous and jittery. Monica picked up on this right away and instead of just charging through, took a step back to assess the situation and told us that this lesson would be free since Daisy wasn't herself and even considered bringing another trainer in. We were extremely appreciative of this gesture and found it to be very considerate and professional. We were a little nervous starting out the training because Daisy is an extremely sensitive and submissive dog, but at the end of the training (which was today) her confidence levels are much higher and she seems to be a much happier dog!!! Daisy is far from perfect but her discipline and manners are getting better every day and we love seeing her progress and growth. We highly recommend Off Leash K9 Training. I wanted a personal protection dog that's not only obedient, but good with kids and family. A trained dog that can go anywhere with me. Wether it's a car ride, hiking, swimming or maybe go to the mall. I wanted a dog that can do many tricks and impress my friends and family while protecting us anywhere we go. I started researching online and discovered that such a dog can cost anywhere from $50k to a $120k (not kidding). Not willing to spend this kind of money, I decided to go a different route. I started my search for a good working lines German shepherd dog breeder and found one locally. I got my pup around 8 weeks old and wanted to find a good dog trainer right away. After countless days of speaking to different trainers, I came across Nick through Facebook and decided to give him a try. From the moment I spoke to Nick, I knew that he was a great fit for Apollo. He explained to me that this is a project dog and cannot be completed overnight and will require different courses throughout my puppy's development which I happily agreed to. I sent Apollo in for the very first time at 3 months old for his first 2 weeks program. It made a huge difference. I couldn't believe that it was the same dog. Apollo was crate trained, obedient and was able to learn more than 7 commands in German. Apollo is 7 months old now and I just dropped him off to Nick for another 2 weeks. I can't wait to see what my pup can learn this time! It's really hard to find a dog trainer that can handle Apollo's level of energy. I will not let anyone touch Apollo but Nick.
