Today was my first time visiting Wendy and her staff and I'm so pleased. They took great care of my girl! Her cut is great, precious little top knot bow, and they did an amazing job clipping her nails even though she put up quite a fight. The girl who greeted me was very sweet and Bella easily went to her. The best part is that they called 3.5 hours later to let me know that she was ready. I don't like groomers that insist on keeping the dogs the entire day, that makes me very uncomfortable. Paid about $50 which is a fair price for the great job they did and the peace of mind I had leaving her there. Totally worth the drive from The Woodlands, we'll be back! read more

Wendy is amazing! She was recommended by a neighbor when I lived in Conroe. Not only is she the best groomer I have had for my five year old Schnauzer/Yorkie mix, but her prices remain amazingly affordable. I have lived in Austin for a year and a half. I have had to have Murphy groomed here on several occasions and have yet to be happy with either the outcome or the cost. I try to schedule grooming when I visit relatives in the Woodlands so that Wendy can continue to work her magic! read more

5 month old Yorkie, won't allow me to brush her at all! Good puppy cut! Suggested I bring her back in a couple of weeks to get her used to getting hair trimmed. read more

Lori answers the phone like she's on her deathbed. If she's that lazy at her job?I don't want her touching my pet "Hello, it's Lori, your dog is ready "" really??? Eat a snickers !! Don't like your job? Get another. But now I'm worried about my pet going there again. So , SHE WONT!! read more

Wendy has been grooming my two fur babies for several years, and she always does a great job! Her husband helps out at the front desk, and always ask how we're doing and are very friendly. My golden retriever rescue and my sheltie always look and smell great when I pick them up, and I've never had a complaint. They are usually finished within two-three hours and my dogs don't mind going that much. I would recommend them to anyone. read more

Great place for grooming, we've used Wendy for many years... always satisfied and does a good job on our Yorkie...

This is the best groomer in The Woodlands, Magnolia, and Conroe! My dog has been groomed by the owner of Allure for many years. I am 100% satisfied with the professional and consistently-awesome grooming results when I pick up my pampered standard poodle. My dog literally DRAGS me in the door of the grooming shop and is bouncy and happy (and beautiful) when I pick her up. I would never consider taking my dog anywhere else. The facilities (bathing and grooming area) are HUGE, clean, and comfortable. This is such a step above the large pet store/chain grooming salons, and less expensive than one of the well-advertised, upscale Woodlands' location grooming stores---you know---the one with the small viewing window where you catch a glimpse of dogs on grooming tables in a tiny grooming room---where you more than likely never meet your dog's groomer, much less get the opportunity to ask questions and get feedback from the groomer. I guarantee you will never take your dog anywhere else once you have tried Allure! read more

Wendy is Rude!!!! Never got passed a phone call to try and make an appointment! And they were referred to me by a friend.

I took my Pekingese in for a lion cut, and I don't think she's ever done one before but she did a fantastic job on my dog. Reasonable price, professional and courteous service! Will definitely bring him back :-) read more

I just called in to make an appt for my Great Pyrenees/Bernese mix and the receptionist forgot to mute the phone when she asked the owner for the price. I could hear them talking and then the owner gave her a price and the receptionist said "what if she still says yes". Very unprofessional. I just found someone to bathe my dog for $120 cheaper than they quoted. I also called in a week before Christmas and was told they had no availability until after the New Year. I'm now wondering if that was a lie too. Who knows. read more

brought my dog to get groomed the first time will not go back. people are unprofessional and so very very rude I would give zero stars. I do not recommend this dog grooming service. read more

We called last week to make an appointment for our girls. They were able to get us in today, and they did a FANTASTIC job! Easy to find, clean environment, friendly staff, my girls didn't come out shaking or terrified when picking them up, and the prices were good. I would highly recommend and we WILL be bringing our girls back. (Side note: our golden looks like this because we don't typically allow her on the couch.) read more

Never met a a business owner so rude to her customers. If she can be so rude to a paying customer, how is she treating the dogs. She was friendly the 1st time I brought my dogs but a nightmare the next time. read more

My family recently moved out to Montgomery and we have two dogs. One is lower maintenance and needs just a bath, the other needs to be shaved also. One is okay with anything and the other is a nervous wreck when he's left places. We had them groomed at Petsmart and didn't care for the employees. It seemed like just a job and I felt like my dogs weren't as cared for as they could be. So we began going to our vet for grooming. They're great, but far from our house now and the big one couldn't be shaved. I found A'lure on Yelp but I was still a little unsure of somewhere new. All of the ladies I've spoken with on the phone or when I dropped off/picked up my dogs were so nice. And my dogs came home looking amazing! They weren't nervous wrecks either like they usually are when I pick them up. Usually they act like I've saved their lives by picking them up. But they were just ready to go this time. Like it was no big deal. The pricing is perfect also, right in line with what I've always paid elsewhere. We think we've found our new groomers and are going to make a point to take them in regularly. read more

Our first experience at A'lure was a very positive one. The owners are extremely friendly, but more importantly the haircuts are outstanding. My wife and I have two Shih Tzus and haircuts can be a difficult experience. Based on other reviews I was fairly confident and the end result did not disappoint. The establishment is very clean and the prices are more than reasonable. read more

I took my three dogs to Allure for the second time today. They do a nice job but the owner has been extremely rude both times. I am not going back. Dropped them off at 9am and went at 3pm to pick up and owner got mad and said they're not ready yet. I told her no problem, when? She said in 45 minutes, I left and 10 minutes later she calls to say they are ready. The price today was $30 more than last time and when I asked why the difference, she checked in the back and said it was a mistake and reduced the amount to the previous price. No apology. In addition, she has been so ugly and critical of the dogs both times. I've groomed my dogs for 40 years and she asked "if you groom, why don't you do it?" Never had such an awful experience. read more

Today was our first time here, and everyone was so friendly and nice. We took our dog in for a bath, cut, nail trim, ear cleaning, and deshedding treatment. They gave us a quote for the cost and it ended up being much less than what they originally told us. They answered all of our questions and took great care of our girl. They did a great job with everything we needed to get done. She looks like a whole new dog and she smells so good! She even strutted a little more because she knew she looked so pretty! Will definitely be going back! read more

These people are good, they know what they're doing. However, if you can surpass the unprofessional attitude, snarky comments, sarcasm/rudeness when you call, or when you haven't taken your pet because you're saving since you're not rich, but you still want your pet to look nice and be treated nicely, then you'll be alright. read more

Today was our first visit and we will be back for sure. Our schnauzer looks great and they were VERY patient and kind to our very frightened foster-dog (who pooped in the lobby, the back room and on the groomer and is still welcome back!). I'm so glad I found them! read more

There are few people who I would leave my dog with and Wendy (the owner of Allure) is definitely one of those people! Every time my dog comes home she is as beautiful and happy as can be. If you live in the vicinity this is the place to go! read more

This place is great!! They remember my dog each time I call and they always love on him when I take him in. He's got some separation anxiety but he always seems excited to be dropped off there. They do a great job... Even on his long tail, which he hates for people to touch. I'm so glad this place opened. They do a MUCH better Jon than the PetSmart on 1488. read more

I will never bring my dog back here again, very unprofessional. After tipping her, she proceeded to say that Portuguese Water Dogs (my dog's breed) are vicious and nasty. My experience is that they are among the friendliest and sweetest dogs ever. We have folks that do not like dogs say that ours is amazing. For her to say that and to follow it up by saying she is going to ban the breed from her place, despite the fact that she had no issues with our dog, displeased me to no end. PetSmart is a far better, kinder, and more courteous place to take your dog. Plus, they love our dog there. A'lure? NOT FOR ME! read more

I've been bringing my Papillon, Winston here since I found this place two plus years ago. I was taking my dog to Natural Paws and they butchered my dog. They even cut his ear hair! You never cut their ear hair. They really know their doggy grooming here and it's not about the money. I've asked for my dogs hair to be cut shorter and have been informed of the correct way a Papillon should have their hair cut. I think it's great that I was informed of how my dogs hair should be cut and even after I was informed they still did what I asked. Every time I have dropped off or picked up my dog there are other dogs leaving very happy. I have not once seen a miserable dog. My dog is scared when I first drop him off but when I pick him up he doesn't want to leave.....traitor...... read more

Mary J, I have been going there since they open and all of the time they wanted my 2 dogs there by 7:30, but today I was told they didn't open until 8:00. I was 15 minutes early the owner didn't want to open the door until 8:00. With 2 dogs squirming and pull on the leash at the door I could believe the owner did this to me. I was so upset at her. I will never take my dogs back there again. Another reviewer write that she thought the owner was interest in the money not the dog. With the owners attitude today I know that is the case. Not customer Service. read more
