The staff at Pawtown are so caring to my cat. I'm a new cat mom and this was my first experience taking my fur child to a pet resort. Everyone was extremely friendly as we walked in. Check in was quick and easy. They were super welcoming. The resort is clean. My cat has so much space to roam and explore. They played with him so much that he came come home tired (I loved it). They cared for him so much. He goes to his crate a lot because he wanted to come back so I brought him back and they were so happy to see him again. One of the members gave him hugs and let him do his thing. I know that if I ever need to give my kitty a vacation he's going to Pawtown. Super cute place w super friendly staff. Got report cards for my dogs and I love that the staff ACTUALLY understands a dogs behavior. (My dogs are protective of me so come off as aggressive around others) . Also +10 since this place didn't require a neuter or spay. Just a little sad I put my doggy's collar on really tight (for leash purposes so she couldn't escape), yet it was left that same tightness the entire 5 day stay giving her a little cough and a different head shape loll . read more

Love, love, love this place. My family and I take frequent weekend trips to San Marcos to visit my sister so I need a place to leave my dog for 2 nights at a time often. I came across this place when my dog contracted fleas from our prior boarding facility (that I was never fully comfortable with), and I can just say that this is a place that I'm 100% comfortable leaving my dog. She seems to enjoy it, and the friendly faces are very extremely inviting. On top of that they do a remarkable job of keeping the lobby and even outside potty grass clean and smelling fresh every time I drop off my dog. Their prices are also amazing especially compared to other grooming and boarding facilities in the area. They also send videos of your pet every other day while they're there which I love because it further shows that your pet is getting love and attention and you have no curiosity as to what they're up to. Under new ownership. Little video clips used to be sent to us of our dog while away. Now they charge for the updates. A grooming before being picked up is not done either. My dog's blanket was soaked in urine which tells me he wasn't taken out like he should've been. My dog has NEVER pee'd on his blanket. Our last time here for sure. read more

Can't say enough good things about this location. I was worried about taking a younger dog to an all day camp several days a week, but Jaxson adores Pawtown! While he's typically a dog that doesn't like to leave my side he never even looks back on the morning hand off at Pawtown. They provide feedback and videos daily. While it's great that all my interactions with staff here have been easy and comforting, it matters most to me that my pup is excited to arrive, which says the most. read more

I was very disappointed after picking up my dogs after a weekend stay. My family and I arrived into town a few hours earlier than expected and decided to pick our puppies early. At first, we thought the puppies had been bathed and hadn't had enough time to dry since they where damped; however, their smell made it clear that was not the case. They smelled like pee and their white hair on their feet was yellow. I understand places as these have small kennels but I would have expected them to be kept clean as opposed to my dogs running around in their own pee. There is nothing luxurious about this location and it was unfortunate to see the state in which our family pets are kept in. With that being said, I would not return or recommend this place. read more

Up until now I really thought Pawtown was a great place. This is the second time I've gone out of town and left my baby in their care for a few days. The first time she had not had her last shot so she did not engage in day camp. This time I dropped her off directly from leaving the vet where she has her last shots. She had no injuries or marks on her at that time nor has she ever. Yesterday I gave her a bath and noticed she had a huge bruise or something on her left hip. I took her to the vet just now and was told that she clearly had some kind of picture wound that bled and this was dried blood. I called and spoke to the owner who was completely unconcerned and basically blew me off stating that things happen and maybe it happened before she got there. She had been there since Nov. 4th and had just left from the vet. I carried her to the car and she was in her seatbelt on the drive. Furthermore, this had to be very recent because of the dried blood. Her coat is completely white in that area so a staff member should have seen her bleeding at some point and contacted me. So no explanation has been given to me as to what happened to her. I will never take her here again! read more

We can't say enough good things about Pawtown! Our pup loves it here so much that he doesn't even stick around to say "bye" when we drop him off! The staff is amazing and the report cards are always very prompt and original (this is huge because my husband will pause an activity during vacation or events to watch them). We have worried about leaving Rusty when it's warm due to him getting overheated playing or when storms are in the forecast cause he's a 120 lb baby, but he's always so well taken care of! We also know that once we pick him up (from daycare or boarding) he's going to sleep like an angel cause he has had so much fun! We had a lot of anxiety about leaving Rusty in others' care before we found Pawtown, but they have proven to be so awesome (and consistently amazing over the last 2ish years) that we don't even have to worry about him while we're away. read more

Can't say enough about this facility. We just moved to Texas and I was very nervous finding a new place to leave my babies. The owner and staff are so friendly and kind. They have spared no expense to make the facility clean and safe for both daycare to long term boarding. I just left my three dogs for ten days, and my Doberman went to daycare daily. Fantastic cage free kennel with a very nice facility and owners/staff. The pet rooms are varied in size but all are roomy with an automatic waterer and raised beds. We boarded our three dogs and couldn't be more pleased with the care they received. We were sent updates and videos on how the dogs were doing. The owner is very personable and our dogs did not have that 'dazed' look upon pickup. We will definitely use them again on our next trip! read more

Great boarding for our 2 dogs! Friendly, knowledgeable staff that are very obviously pet lovers. The facility is brand new, very clean and well designed.
