My dog is dead. Stop contacting me! I've been sending emails and contact forms about unsubscribing me for over 2 years now. They continue to spam my email and text despite my dog being dead. They don't have an option to unsubscribe in there (daily!) emails - which is illegal - and they use my number to send me promos, which I never signed up for (also illegal.) Unless you love civil court, avoid CF Personal Grooming Salon. When your dog is gone, you'll still be reminded of them literally every day, and it will drive you so crazy that you'll finally take them to court for violating the CANSPAM act. read more

Worst place ever. These photos are self explanatory of why I would never go back. I went to go pick her up and there was blood coming out of her nose and had eye hemorrhage. The female groomer still had the nerve to be upset because my dog was not cooperating. She could've just said she couldn't handle my dog and I would've gladly went up there to get my girl. So heartbreaking to pick up your fur baby in those conditions. read more

Brought my dog here for the first time for a full groom. I asked for her coat to be slightly trimmed and to leave a bit of her mohawk. They cut the whole mohawk off, which kinda was upsetting but I didn't care as much because I know It will grow back. After taking her home I saw red between her toes and found out she's been hurt from the nail clipping and grooming between the paws. The nails were cut super short and a couple of them split at home. My dog has been yelping and super scared of me touching her paw. I don't recommend coming here for the nail/paw work. It's just cut too short and I can tell she mustve bled because her quick is showing on many nails. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. RUN AWAY I wish I could give this place 0 stars because the service was unbelievably bad. I requested for my pet to get a certain cut and even sent a picture of exactly how I wanted him to look and he looks absolutely terrible and not at all accurate to the picture I showed. When I picked him up the price was way higher than what I was quoted over the phone which was upsetting because I had budgeted for the amount I was told and typically groomers communicate any additional costs with you so there are no surprises at the register. Once I got in the car I called back because I just hate when this happens and explained that I truly did not like the cut and was wondering if there was anything they could do to fix it. They had the owner reach out to me and he was probably the rudest person I've ever met and it makes sense why the customer service was so bad. He was no help and even argued with me about the cut I requested and stated that his prices are his prices because he can't find anyone to work for $8 and there was most likely a miscommunication due to "little young girls being at the front". He was extremely condescending and continued to cut me off and mansplain the entire time we were on the phone. Im not here to tell anyone how to run a business but if your workers are having trouble understanding grooming cuts especially with a photo involved then maybe you should invest in educating your staff so these things do not happen. Eventually I just came to terms that my dog would just have a choppy haircut until I could find someone better. read more

I've been holding off on writing this review, after months of searching for a good groomer for my puppy I thought we had our hearts set on this place, but after my experience the other day my search is still on. Our first visit went great Ms. Johana is a great groomer we loved her. Unfortunately our second visit was a nightmare. We had the misfortune of booking with the other groomer who works there. I received a call saying my dog was done, after I paid and tipped they said they needed my help holding my Yorkie down to trim his nails, they took us to a back room with about 4 barking dogs, the groomer then came and without care clipped his nails until he was bleeding, I left the room very stressed and crying, I came back and the groomer tried telling me it wasn't blood I saw, that I was mistaken and it was the red from her bracelet. Besides the traumatic experience with his nails, his actual groom looks horrible. If you do decide to go here book with Ms. Johana she truly loves her job and has patience for our pets we love so much. They did ask me to bring him back to get his cut fixed free of charge but we won't be returning which is sad we really wanted to love it here. read more

I brought my dog here twice. The first time he came home with a big gash on his ear but I did not make a deal of it and chalked it up to a regular grooming accident. Unfortunately, when I brought my dog Spencer back the second time, they had allowed him to be choked long enough that it caused eye hemorrhaging. Imagine taking your dog to the groomer perfectly normal and him coming home looking like a 1980s stoner. I called and spoke to the owner Jeff and asked him if he would pay for a cheap visit to the vet just to make sure that the dog is OK since it happened in his care. he did not agree to nor want to and became rude towards the end of the conversation. The owner himself, Jeff, took no responsibility, and would not help me. I will not be bringing my dog back here again. I have attached photos to show you how my poor little pup came home. Sometimes, accountability is enough for forgiveness. read more

The first time I brought my dog in everything went smoothly minus the fact they lost part of my dog's harness. The cut was $70 which I think is too much but I don't have many options because my dog needs to be in a muzzle. Today I brought my dog in and they said they would be done in 3-4 hours. I came in to pick him up after 4 hours and they said he will still need an hour and a half. That was very inconvenient because I needed to take care of important business downtown so I had to have my elderly grandmother go get the dog. They also couldn't finish the haircut due to my dogs behavior. That's understandable but they still are making me pay full price. If you are ok paying $70 for a puppy cut and the possibility of them taking all day by all means do business with these people. I will never take my dog here again. read more

I used to take my dog to Petco and Petsmart for her grooming needs, every time I took her to one of these places. She either came out, uneven or slightly cut somewhere. I knew I had to make a change of salons when I would pick my dog up from her appointments and she would be sad looking. I always thought that since it was Petco and Petsmart (large corporations) they provided the best care and the best services so I gave them the benefit of the doubt and then decided to give petco one last chance. I was not pleased with how they left her. I will insert a picture below, I know not all Petco and Petsmart locations provide the same service, but within the ones that were in my radius, it was always the same situation, as if they simply rush the haircuts. Then I came across this grooming salon. I have been coming here for about a year and a half now, and I'd love the service they provide not only to the customers but to the pets as well. I came across this business on Instagram where I now follow them. What really attracted me to this place is that when I would see their posts all of their dogs look happy and well taken care of. In addition to grooming services, they also offer daycare services. I have personally never booked with them for daycare services but as what I can see on their posts the dogs love it there! I was a bit skeptical to keep on coming here because it is about a 40 minute drive from where I live, but it is honestly so worth it .As soon as you walk in it feels very welcoming and smells amazing. They even call to remind you that it's been a while since you last took your pet for a groom and ask if you would like to schedule an appointment. My dog always comes out smelling like maple and she always has some kind of bandanna or bows in her hair. As soon as I pick her up from her appointment she looks so happy in comparison to how she looked when I would pick her up from Petco. The only complaint I really have with this place is that the cuts are never the same every time I go I ask for the same thing and my dog ends up coming out a different way each time.I don't mind it as it's still a good haircut and service overall. As far as the prices go, they are a bit pricey in my opinion. My dog is 7 pounds and for the most part I always end up paying roughly $90 for a bath with a haircut and teeth brushing. In comparison to Petco and Petsmart, where I would pay about $60-$70 for the same services. You get what you pay for! So yes, my dog gets her $90 haircuts that come with great service every month in compared to a cheaper option where the service is not there. I will attach a couple pictures of my dog for a reference. read more

I'm not sure how I feel about this place. We used to go here. I loved Monica and Savannah's original location on 2920. They had always done a good job and were super friendly. Fast forward I remember the grand opening of this location, we moved down toward Champion Forest a few years back so haven't been back here. Recently about a month ago we purchased a new home in Spring Cypress and the first place I thought to take my pups was CF grooming. I am not sure how I call to ask for an appointment the lady asked if I had been to the location before. My response was " yes, a while back when Monica and her daughter the previous owners " this employee started to argue and claimed I didn't know what I was talking about, Monica and her daughter weren't the previous owners, etc... I'm baffled to how it went from her asked me the question, I reply to her poor customer service. She goes on to tell me who the owner was... I simply just said, you know what I don't care honestly I was trying to book an appointment, but now I no longer need to and I hung up the phone. Not even five minutes after somehow she feel the need to text me to continue to telling me who the owner was. Geez, I have never had to deal with the insane, weird thing. I asked she don't continue to text me. She didn't care. Who does this ??? What a hot mess and awkward conversation. Safe to say I would never use them regardless of who the owners are! read more

Summary: Monica and Savannah are no longer at CF. I have an appointment 12/26 for full grooms for my two dogs. I called today 12/24 to let them know my female had her bordatella shot but I can't locate the paperwork , and asked if they had a fax number the vet could fax it to...the lady who answered just said "Wellll....we don't have a groomer right now, but just upload the paperwork to the website and we can give them a bath and blow." Uhm...first off, I just said I don't have it to upload, and second, I don't want just bath and blow. Third, was anyone going to call and let me know?? I then told her i needed to cancel and she asked if I was sure? Yes...you are a grooming salon and don't have a groomer? Come to find out, Monica and Savannah were recently fired. I will be following them wherever they may go, especially since CF didn't have the courtesy to inform me of what was going on. read more

I DO NOT recommend this place. Took my dog to get groomed and specifically told the receptionist teddy bear cut for the face. When I got there to pick him up the manager told me he looked kinda funny. I told her I wanted to see what he looked like before I paid. When she brought him out I was in TOTAL shock his face was the same length as his body(shaved). I will NEVER take my dog there or recommend them after this disaster. The manager could have cared less. read more

Today, I was disappointed in my groom. This was my 3rd time taking my puppy to get groom here. I never had an issue before and I wouldn't be writing this review today if I heard more than excuses. I spoke to the person on the phone when I made my appointment and specifically told them that I didn't want the top of hair cut because I was letting her hair grow and wanted a bow at the top. When I dropped her off I repeated my instructions again and told them to just clip her brows so they are not in her face. Well when I picked her up, I noticed the top had been cut and she did not have her bows as requested. Groomer said he didn't cut the top, he brushed all her hair to the front and then trimmed it with her brows. Even though he didn't cut the top it still got cut inadvertently by his method of trim. When I got home and inspected my fur baby her face had not been cleaned well. She still had the same eye drippings on her face that I sent her there with. Because I was disappointed in my service, I called to let them know and the manager spoke to me. I felt like the manager and the groomer were making excuses instead of acknowledging the mess up and trying to make it right. I guess it's time to find another groomer who is going to listen to my requests. read more

I have been going to this place for over a year and each time it is hit or miss but never a horrible experience. However today I picked up my standard poodle today who was grown out. I asked that they keep her top knot on her head and ears. They let me know they could not keep her legs which was fine but they completely messed up the rest of her body. (Although i do not believe they could not save her boots.) I am so sad for my poor dog who looks crazy. They completely shaved my poor poodle. I will NEVER EVER be back. Go elsewhere! read more

We had a fantastic experience at CF. I have two senior dogs, one who has health issues and is not a fan of grooming. They worked with us , listened to their needs, and did a fantastic job. Most importantly they were sweet to my fur babies and made the experience pleasant for me and the dogs. I won't be going anywhere else! Thanks so much to the team for being kind and loving my animals like their own. read more

AVOID at ALL COST...or it WILL COST YOU DEARLY! The groomer's website has three packages to choose. I chose the highest grooming package of $45 for our 22 lb. pup (wash and haircut). Somehow the owner's daughter doubled the amount owed to $92. Her poor explanation was, it depends on the size of the animal. Could you imagine dropping off your great dane, golden retriever, or standard poodle? My God! So now our 'Teddy Bear Golden-Doodle' looks like a hairless cat or worse...a mangy looking Benji. They Butchered our pet with a 1/8 inch trimmer! Plus she charged us a de-matting fee. How do you de-mat a dog after you shave them? The owner will respond to this posting by saying, ' I agreed to the length in advance '. Why yes I did, she showed me a metal guard which provides no meaningful insight. The first few days we were constantly asked what kind of dog is that by curious neighbors on our nighty walks. School age kids are scared of her or worst...they laugh and say her body/tail looks like a rat! Now, we rarely take our pup out of the yard to avoid any embarrassing explanations. This groomer always leaves my fur baby looking gorgeous! Very nice job they do with our fur baby.

I have been taking my labradoodle here since his very first groom and he is almost a year old now. He and I both absolutely love it there. They do such a great job with his groom and are always very nice. He recently started day care there and he loves to play with the other dogs and the workers that are taking care of him. He comes home tired and very happy and drags me inside the salon every time we go back. read more

Great first grooming for my 9 month old GSD. He was so stinky but came out looking brand new. Price was reasonable as he is a big boy, I am overall satisfied with the service I received from the ladies who were nice and gentle with my baby. Great service and my dog is so shy, he loved it! I have been to three groomers before and they were by far the best.

Wow I see that most of your reviews involve your employees being rude and that's a shame because here's another one. I'm giving a two only because my dog was groomed well. I still would not EVER Come to this place anymore and that is thanks to the rude ass groomer Bobby. First off there is NOWHERE on the website it says there will be a handling fee applied without the owner knowing and speaking with the clerk and the lady that bathed my dog I was told TWICE that the total of my dog was going to be $65 When we arrive to pick him up there is added fees on there stating it was a handling fee. Now the fee isn't the problem and I understand if my pet was doing a lot. My dog has separation anxiety and APPARENTLY was acting up the entire time from START to finish with Bobby. THEREFORE why still try and groom my dog if he doesn't like you OBVIOUSLY????? then try and add charges without even calling me (THE OWNER) to let me know. The ladies I spoke with all told me that he was doing a lot in there and he even bit someone but not one time did anyone state that there will be a handling fee added on to that. I spoke with a guy and he states no one in that facility knows about a handling fee other than the groomer. If I'm not mistaken when you get hired on whoever is the trainer is listing all the terms and conditions the employee must follow. No one told me or contacted me about the handling fee, Not even the Bobby btch when she took over to groom my dog. She obviously wanted the extra $20 really bad enough to deal with my dog biting her then instead of stopping and calling me to come pick him up and refuse the groom following proper protocol. Then to follow up with that and I call to speak with her. She gets loud and upset like I'm the one in the wrong when she could have refused my dog to begin with OR simply could have notified me about the handling fee like everyone else there notified me about everything else. COMMUNICATION IS KEY !!! She proceeds to hang up the phone in my ear after yelling not letting me speak at all. That's how you know when someone is wrong. Can't take what you dish out so you hang up which is UNACCEPTABLE. Like I said the groom was well done but whoever that big back Bobby woMAN is she should definitely be careful who she is being disrespectful with. She could have ended all of your jobs if you know what I mean. I see most of your bad reviews comes from you guys not having good communication skills and it's sad. Thank you and blessed day. read more

I just want to say how much I LOOOOVE CF Grooming!!!! My Sir Wynston is my heart and the joy of my life. I love knowing he is in great hands and hearing that he is having lots of fun. As a fur mom, I am VERY, VERY particular concerning my boy. This may help someone. So, I must share. My baby has gone to one other daycare and seldomly ate his food that I sent with him. Sure...he played, but never really ate. So, just knowing that he ate his food on the last 2 occasions I sent it, made me feel soooo good. Why? Because as a mom, you know when your baby is comfortable, happy and stress free. That is a HUGE sign that CF Grooming takes GREAT care of my baby boy. Just wanted to say thank you and share with others. Oh...and by the way, since we've been home hours ago, he drank some water and has been in these 2 spots, resting ever since. He is out for the night! LOL!!! GOTTA LOVE IT. My baby had a happy and full day. Thank you, Team CF GROOMING! read more

I was having a difficult time getting my puppy, Star, groomed because every place kept telling me that she wouldn't let them cut the hair on her face. It all changed when I brought her here. For the first time in her 1.5 yrs of her life she looks well-groomed!!! I completely forgot that I never did the actual review when we took our dogs here about a month or so ago. But without further ado... This place opened a few minutes from us in the new strip mall on 2920. While driving past one day my fiancé stopped and went in to get a flyer and take a look around. The women working (the owner I believe) was very nice and they chatted some. She even gave him a free sample of food for our dogs to try since one of them has really bad food and skin allergies. So I added their information to Yelp and had him call and set up an appointment. Now I want to be very clear, we have been grooming our dogs most of their lives as they are mutts but mainly have a extra long fur from their cocker side and pretty thick from the Shepard side. Also since my female dog has those allergies, her skin breaks out all the time and its easier to maintain some if she is groomed. We have found a groomer we have used the last two years and really like. However, she about an hour way. I think thats important to mention since, we had someone we enjoy using so I was skeptical about letting him take our dogs here. The Services: Ours dogs looked AMAZING! Both of our dogs fur was groomed evenly. We do ask always to get the fur out of their paw pads some since we have wood floors and they slide a lot with the fur, and they did an amazing job on that (and I know my male dog hates having his paws held even by us so its a pain.) I did post pictures of our male since we usually keep his tail fur long otherwise he looks just like a bag of bones running around (lol) so you can see how long his fur had gotten over winter and how great they did. I also have to mention how great she did with my female dog. From allergies she gets rashes on her skin and it becomes flakey and irritated in patches. When she was younger we were able to maintain this a little better but as she is about to hit 15 we have gotten a little to relaxed on table treats that she shouldn't need (anything with yeast or potato). So usually our groom just does the cut and rinse her off and thats it. However, she still has some of the flakiness (sorry I know it may be TMI). But here she came back very clean, so I can tell they really took their time. I will say they do charge a little more than what we were paying. However, I believe we will continue to try and take them here since I was so happy with the services and the condition of my female dogs skin. The shop overall is super cute! They have pet accessories and other little cute items. Its very boutique feeling. They also have a great set up for small to large dogs so it keeps them safer. read more
