They continue to spam my email and text despite my dog being dead. They don't have an option to unsubscribe in there (daily!) emails - which is illegal - and they use my number to send me promos, which I never signed up for (also illegal.) Unless you love civil court, avoid CF Personal Grooming Salon. When your dog is gone, you'll still be reminded of them literally every day, and it will drive you so crazy that you'll finally take them to court for violating the CANSPAM act.

I can honestly say we got our money's worth with this one. Gunny did a complete turn around when it comes to his behavior but still maintained his affection. I was worried his playfulness would be completely trained out of him but that isn't the case. Gunny used to jump on everyone and run out the door every chance he got. Many times we've had to sprint around the block chasing him. He chewed on everything he could fit in his mouth and never sat still. If we couldn't see him at all times, he was sure to be destroying something. If we crated him, he howled. Thanks to Canine Texas, we still have our playful adorable pup but we can relax because he actually listens. He loves his place mat now. He gets to be a part of family time now. He hasn't jumped on a single person since bringing him home nor has he tried to run out of the door. He comes when called and we can actually take him for walks on a leash now without him pulling and yanking. We did the 30 day program. Of course we missed our pup but Lonnie sent pictures and updates so we knew he was in good hands. We chose Canine Texas because our dog wouldn't be in a cage in a business. I was quoted VERY pricey as we were relocating from CA to NC and no aircrafts take her breed anymore. Jose was so responsive, patient, attentive, and kind. He provided me updates prior to the trip starting and along the way. His price was beyond reasonable and the best price I could find; I almost didn't believe it lol. 7/30/2026: Exceptional, Compassionate Care for Emergency PU Surgery…read more The Emergency Situation After a prior emergency room stay for a urinary blockage, my cat Georgie needed urgent perineal urethrostomy (PU) surgery to prevent another crisis. My vet, Dr. Inman (Memorial Town and Country Animal Clinic), reached out to HMVS, and Dr. Oberhaus graciously fit us into her schedule on short notice. Location Note for First-Timers They are located near Magnolia (Woodlands address) across from a residential neighborhood. Note that there isn't main signage on the building front--look for the sign at the intake area entrance. Communication & Staff I can't say enough about the incredible staff (shoutout to Beni, Joey, Hanna, and everyone behind the scenes). They answered the phone immediately every time I called with anxiety or post-op questions, offered helpful text updates, and treated us with endless patience. Surgery & Discharge Experience Surgeon: Dr. Oberhaus was wonderful to meet post-surgery--very kind, informative, and great energy. Discharge: Thorough verbal and written instructions, meds, a boo-boo pad for compresses, a cute bandana, and his e-collar already fitted. Pricing & Payment: Very fair pricing, and they accept credit/debit cards including Amex. My Advice for Post-PU Surgery Recovery at Home: Crate Rest: Use a large dog crate to keep kitty safe and contained. Elevated Dishes: Raise food and water bowls so the e-collar doesn't get in the way. Paper Litter: Switch to pellet/paper litter for at least two weeks. Strict E-Collar Use: Keep it on as long as necessary (we did 17 days) to protect the incision. My vet told me she would trust HMVS with her own pets, and now I see why. Thank you to Dr. Oberhaus and the entire team for taking such wonderful care of Georgie!
