Love your dog? Want them to look good while being treated royally? Then head to Chixie's where dogs are wrapped in love when they walk in. Primarily a grooming salon, Chixie's has added a shop, day care and boarding. My two doodles love Monica and her crew and happily head inside. They are returned beautifully groomed and happy. We've even boarded them for two weeks and trust me they were vacationing the whole time. Chixie's frequently does live broadcasts so you can your doodles frolicking and give you an insider's look at grooming all breeds. They also have monthly events for their customers ranging from dental clinics to photo ops. We love them and more importantly the dogs do.

Chixie takes such good care of Teddy and has him always looking good. They came highly recommended to me by people in different facebook groups that I am a part of. The owner and staff at Chixie are all so sweet and helpful. One of my worst fears is having my dog with a horrendous haircut or having all of his hair shaved off and he has never looked that way under Chixie's care. They know what they are doing and listen to your requests. Aside from grooming, they also offer daycare on their property. When you go inside, they also have dog accessories and treats for you to pick from. We just picked up some turkey necks and pig ears when I went to go pick up Teddy. When they're done with your service, they send out a text saying your dog is ready for pick up in 15-20 minutes, which is super helpful. I highly recommend coming here for dog grooming. Their pricing is on par with others in the market, so I have no complaints there. Worth every penny!

We.love.Chixie! The sweet staff at Chixie take such good care of our two little dogs, Bourbon and Shaggy. They know our boys mannerisms and do a wonderful job when we board and groom our pups. Our dogs are always so happy and tired from a day full of playing when we pick them up. It's always hard saying goodbye to our fur babies when we have to board them for a trip, but with Chixie we rest easy knowing they are going to have such a good time and be so taken care of. Plus they often post pictures of all the doggos having so much fun! The staff is so knowledgeable and truly loves all the little fur babies they watch over, and that shows. Chixie is truly the best!

The best groomer in Spring TX at a very reasonable price. Chixie is my personal choice for our beloved Eiji. I quit going to PetSmart for grooming as they only do it once a month. I recently ordered for bath + stuff. Eiji feels so good after being groomed by Monica and staff. Be coming over and over again.

Took my cat there for his lion cut. This is the best groom he has had in 5 years. Gorgeous cut and he smells so good from the bath. He must have been treated spectacularly, because he did not pout when we got home. We will definitely be returning.

My dogs are accustomed to being around, just our family and don't always be friend new people readily. They immediately took to the owner, Brian. Our dogs are on a diet where they have a mixture of dry and wet food that require refrigeration or freezing. That was no problem at all for the owner to accommodate. The fellas looked well cared for when my son picked them up! My son forgot to check for the dogs blankets when he picked them up and Brian kindly drove them down to the city where we live so that the dogs would have them. I will definitely use Hicks Farm again and I highly recommend them!

Before she went, I'd worked with her on sit, down, take it, leave it, and some spins with decent success. Brian took what she had and built on it, adding heel, come when called, turn, and stay. He returned a noticeably different dog. When we hit some bumps shortly after, he came back out and spent a solid hour with me going over what was actually happening...not just commands and corrections, but why she was behaving the way she was and what she needed from me to feel secure. (Spoiler: she needed me to be more confident and consistent.) He has a way of cutting straight to what matters without overcomplicating it, and more than once he said exactly the right thing at exactly the right moment. What struck me most across both experiences was how much genuine wisdom he brings to his work. He's clearly someone who has learned his craft through deep experience and observation, and it shows in every interaction with the dog and with the owner. On top of all of that, his pricing was incredibly reasonable; boarding and training combined for what many trainers charge for training alone. We felt genuinely taken care of. Kind, patient, perceptive, and exactly what we needed. Highly recommend.

I'd selected A Couple Of Vets when I moved to a new neighborhood over 2 years ago. My review is strictly the cold, callous manner in which we were treated for the appointment to say goodbye to my Doberman, Axel. After a very short illness of 4 days, Axel was in the clinic on May 5 of this year where following tests Dr Le kindly and empathetically delivered a terminal diagnosis, recommending euthanasia. I wasn't ready for that diagnosis and declined saying 'we'll call later'. After a very sad night watching Axel decline, I phoned the following morning set an appointment for that mornin, May 6 for euthanasia. The One Star Review We arrived at the clinic and were quickly led to what seemed to be their euthanasia room. Dr Reynolds entered and went over the diagnosis, which seemed to be different from his wife's diagnosis the prior day, and then smugly stated "This is what happens with untreated heart worm", referring to a months prior appointment with Reynolds in which Axel was diagnosed with heart worm shortly after I adopted him. Reynolds quoted $2100 for treatment, a lot for my fixed income So I called around, finding treatment for $450. That resulted 2 negative tests from different clinics. He was on continuous heart worm prevention. I'm confused on how that was possible. The issue was the smug manner in which he said that and his flawed assumption that I had chosen to ignore his initial diagnosis and didn't get treatment for Axel's heart worm it only got worse. Following Reynolds smug and false opinion regarding my medical treatment of Axel, he offered treatment that would keep Axel alive 3-6 months longer. It didn't make sense to prolong the continued suffering and eventual death of my buddy and I chose euthanasi. Reynolds left the room to insert an IV on Axel and then returned with prefilled syringes and a paper. "First, you'll need to take care of this" he said while handing me the paper. His bill for this appointment! I was shocked and confused. I ALWAYS paid immediately upon departure. Suddenly, Reynolds is treating me as if I would not or could not pay his bill of $356.82 for euthanasia and cremation. it was a heartbreaking 24 hours from diagnosis to euthanasia, and now I'm being insulted by Reynolds's assumptions and further insulted and upset that he feared I might run out on the bill. Despite paying promptly for each prior visit with both dogs. All of this BEFORE I even had to end my buddy's life. after I paid the bill, things continued poorly with a broken lift table, Reynolds wanting Axel to get on cold, stainless steel lift table with no cover. My Axel was NOT going to spend his dying moments on a cold table. And was too slippery, so I told Reynolds to get the sheepskin style cover from the broken table so we could get Axel comfortable on this lift. Holding Axel while Reynolds injected the medications. He then confirmed Axels death. All very matter of factly, with NO empathy and no compassion. I've had to put down several pets through the years and NEVER has the veterinarian been so cold and callous as Reynolds. The office sent a nice condolence card signed by staff and included flower seeds to plant in memory of Axel. All nice, but all to late to repair the damage Reynolds did that day. I get this is his job and he probably euthanizes pets regularly, but what kind of Veterinarian does so with no warmth or understanding? What kind of vet insists the bill be paid first by a promptly paying client of 2 year? My answer is A Couple Of Vets who will never see one dollar from me again. And I have told this story repeatedly to friend and neighbors. BTW: I've yet to receive the paw print I ordered.

Today I almost didn't come, but my Frenchie has been having ear issues again. Last year they put a medication in his ear that helped temporarily, so I came back hoping to address the same issue. This time they wanted to charge me $100 for the same medication that I later saw on Amazon for about $7. I declined the medication. After that they offered to simply clean his ears. I agreed, thinking it was a basic service, but no price was mentioned beforehand. When I received my bill, it came out to $337. I was shocked to see they charged $50 just to clean his ears without informing me of the cost before doing it. While the staff has always been polite, the pricing and lack of transparency are very disappointing. Unfortunately, after today's experience, I will not be returning. I have to agree with other reviews that the pricing here feels like a rip off.

From the start, the front staff were super kind to our lil pup for his puppy shots; he had positive experiences every time! For boarding, Chief was happy and well taken care of as he recuperated from his neutering while we were on vacation; Jasmine was so kind and even sent us a video of our pup playing in the unexpected snow in Jan 2025. We were sad to miss his first experience with snow, and thrilled to see him love the cold, white fun. Then, Dr. Kendra Delaney and the whole staff were instrumental in working with our Pet Relocation team for our international move, and promptly responded to all the timely details. Chief boarded for about a week until he flew out to meet us abroad. The staff all took amazing care of him, and our extra thank yous to Jasmine, our puppy's favorite vet tech, who noticed he was getting anxious; she promptly alerted the vet team who approached us with suggestions. We sincerely appreciate them all going the extra mile, every time.
