I brought my dog here once and never again. He is a small dog and the crate was extra small. They justified it by saying there is a run through a dogging door. The run was covered. During my tour they told me that it was to prevent them from being picked up by a large bird. (What) They had several dogs with a large cardboard in front of the crate because they were barking too much. I had asked for a bath before bringing him home and they told me they do not give baths, first kennel I have ever been to that doesn't have a bathing option. They do allow the dogs out to play and depending on their size is which yard they go in. The report card I got when I picked him up was trash. They decided to rate my dog. Who do you think you are. My dog ended up coming home with a skin bacteria that I had to deal with from their unsanitary kennels and play areas. NEVER EVER WILL I BRING MY BABY HERE AGAIN! read more

I don't recommend for larger, high energy dogs who jump. My dog is sweet, not aggressive at all but does jump (we are working on it) but the staff got upset with my dog and gave me a rude report card. Won't be bringing him back. read more

We just picked up our pooch and couldn't be more excited that we found an AMAZING dog boarding place! Drop off was quick and easy. The girls working the front desk were very receptive to any concerns we had and eager to learn about our puppy so he could have the best bunk mate match. When we arrived to pick him up we could see him running around one of the large fenced in areas having a blast. We were given a behavior report card telling us a variety of things such as, how he reacted to us leaving, who he got along well with, if he had any potty accidents in his kennel and overall how he behaved with other dogs. It makes us so happy to know people paid enough attention to him to learn his likes and personality traits. We even got pictures of him from weekend events such as playing with friends and playing in the pond! Now he snoozing and surely dreaming about the exciting weekend he had at Leash and Bridle. I have a 3 year old cat who I have never boarded before and was nervous about leaving her. Leash and Bridle quickly dissolved my fears when I dropped her off. The staff was very friendly and gave me a brief tour of the place. They asked questions to get to know my cat and told me that I could call and check on her at any time (which I did!). I called regularly and received detailed updates from the staff about her progress, which definitely helped alleviate some of my stress. When the staff heard I was out of town for my wedding they even had a special treat for me and my cat when I picked her up! Also, they sent my cat home with an adorable "report card" with notes about her behavior. I could not have asked for a better place to leave my cat. The rate was more than reasonable for the amount of time and effort they put into making sure our pets are happy! I would definitely use Leash & Bridle again in the future and will recommend them to anyone looking for a safe place to leave their pets! read more

Love love love this place! We have three dogs and this only the place we take them. The ladies are so sweet and you can tell they take good care of the dogs who stay there. Our dogs always stay together in their own personal kennel with an outside run. We drive over 30 mins to get there, so you know it's worth it. Great place with great people! read more

The rooms are spacious, clean and organized. I have booked here since 2014 and there is no better place. Rates are competitive. I truly couldn't be more over the moon with the care that my cat Bunty received at Leash and Bridle. My cat had never been to boarding and I was so nervous especially since he is so scared of people. Kara and Chassity were so kind alleviating my fears by texting me daily while I was away for 2 weeks! I went to bed every night feeling good about his well being. When I picked him up they prepared his things for home and gave me a adorable report card about his stay, so sweet! The girls are so lovely and you can really feel the love and care that is put into the animals well-being and the facility. I wouldn't leave him anywhere else this is the only place for Bunty. We just boarded our two weimaraners at Leash and Bridle this past weekend for three days. It is the first time we had ever boarded either of them - and we could not be happier with the experience! I can't say enough good things about everyone at L&B. I called a few times to check on them (and they always encouraged me to call as much as I wanted to), and each time the person who answered knew exactly what my dogs had done that day and what they were doing at that moment. We had opted for cage-free during the day, so our girls learned how to use the doggie door and took full advantage of it going in and out all day long. They really enjoyed their swimming time also. They were happy to see me when I picked them up but I think a little torn also - they really enjoyed having play time all day every day. In the seven years I have had dogs, I have never ever found a place in any city I have lived that I'd leave my dogs and we are beyond thrilled to have found L&B, who really care about the dogs and are sensitive to the owners as well. We love Leash & Bridle. We picked our girls,up yesterday and they were dirty and exhausted. I don't say that as a bad thing but as a testament to how much fun they have when they are there. We refer to as L&B as the "spa" because the dogs there are treated so well by all of the staff. We never have to worry about them once we drop them off. There are options closer to home for us but L&B is well worth the drive. The report cards and treats to take home are great as well. read more

Love, love, love Leash & Bridle Boarding! Our rescue dog was afraid of his own shadow until he spent time socializing at L&B and now he loves going to "camp" and hanging with other dogs. There are separate houses for 12 each small and large dogs, they are not kenneled and each dog has a small suite with a doggy door and a little run. There is a large fenced area and a pond for supervised play. Cats are in a separate building in giant 6'x6' condos. There is also equine boarding. L&B is clean without disinfectant smell, you pay one price per night, no extra fees for play time or meds. Beth and her staff are all animal lovers which is obvious by the way they greet and are greeted by their guests and even more by the great care they give the animals. Bonuses are the cute and clever decorations for every season and Holidays and the to-go goodie bag with a "report card" and special pet treat at the end of each visit. These guys are awesome! Take such great care of my Aussie, we have boarded him there multiple times short and long term and he absolutely loves it. They feed the same good dog food as we do, give him a bath before picking him up, write super cute report cards and even got a happy birthday goody bag. I rarely write reviews that are not positive, but if you are leaving your dogs at a boarding facility, I feel you should be informed. We left our five-month puppy here. We were traveling for a few weeks in Europe so we left our adult children's number with them and explained that they could answer any questions about our puppy; we would not have phone service. They both live locally. Within days after we arrived in Europe, we received texts, phone calls, and emails complaining that our puppy had had accidents overnight. He had not done so for a full month before we left him. They threatened to drop him off at our house. We worked that problem out, but were worried about what they might do while we were on vacation. I had my kids check daily to see if they dropped off the puppy. They overfed, ran out of food, and bought the wrong food for him and charged us for it. In addition, they broke his bowl and lost his measuring scoop. I understand that boarding a puppy might be difficult, so I had interviewed them extensively questioning their ability. They did not read his information sheet for connecting with our contacts if there was a problem or to replace his food with the correct kind. Disappointed with the experience overall. Would rate a one star, but they at did manage to deliver him on the correct day. read more
