During my tour they told me that it was to prevent them from being picked up by a large bird. (What) They had several dogs with a large cardboard in front of the crate because they were barking too much. I had asked for a bath before bringing him home and they told me they do not give baths, first kennel I have ever been to that doesn't have a bathing option. They do allow the dogs out to play and depending on their size is which yard they go in. The report card I got when I picked him up was trash. They decided to rate my dog. Who do you think you are. My dog ended up coming home with a skin bacteria that I had to deal with from their unsanitary kennels and play areas. NEVER EVER WILL I BRING MY BABY HERE AGAIN!

He sends pictures whenever the cat goes out for a two twenty-minute runs about the place which has all the climbing things a cat would want. Very stimulating environment, however if the cat is nervous, it may not take to it readily, but eventually, will, which is good training to socialize you cat if its not around other cats. Upon returning it was almost impossible to get the cat back into the carrier, but he has great experience getting the cat back in the carrior safley using kevlar gloves. The ktty quickly calmed down when we reached home and did not nave any weirdness that cats get when you leave it alone for a few days. So it was good for the cat and you shouldn't worry about the cat when away, he has all sorts of activites to keep the ktty happy/satisfied

They were AMAZING from start to finish. The initial interview was thorough and you could tell that they both love animals so much. We used the Time To Pet app to keep connected while we were gone. Jessie posted an update after every visit (four times a day!) PLUS she sent 10-12 pictures and video. She also checked all the doors and turned on/off lights, brought in our trash cans, etc. Honestly, the went above and beyond! We will definitely use them again!

I will let you know how it went when I pick the dogs up this afternoon. Their rates are on www.activedogcamp.com. We had been using PetSmart Hotel and there you have to pay for every little additional item...ie treats, playtime, etc.. At Snuggles and Hugs it is all included. They texted me photo's of my dogs playing and working dog puzzles. (didn't even know there was such a thing.) We had to bring our dogs there for an interview last week which I wasn't crazy about but am so GLAD WE DID. They told me things about our dogs that explains how they relate to each other. It made sense! Also used the interview to determine what type of dogs they can play with or interact with. Again it made sense! PetSmart had decided our dogs were Aggressive and wouldn't let them play with other dogs. They have never bitten or snapped at any other dogs or people so I didn't agree with PetSmart. The Snuggles and Hugs guys introduced our dogs to different dogs in a controlled situation to see how they would interact. I'm excited to have found these guys....and I think my dogs are also. Would give no stars if I could…read more I highly advise against using this facility for boarding any dog. Penny the owner did not return any of my phone call after several attempts over several days. I left numerous voicemails. The call kept being forwarded to voicemail. I also sent numerous emails with no response. I just wanted to make sure how my dog was doing good since this was her first boarding experience. The facility is not clean at all. It smells like urine and that it is not cleaned or sanitized. I provided a bag of dental treats for my dog, and gave instructions on how much to give to my dog. She came home with only one gone. Also, I provided Penny my dog's bed and was told that the dogs can only have their bed at night. I do not agree with at all, as no dog should be forced to lay on a cold concrete floor all day when they are used to laying on a dog bed at home all day. My dog came home smelling horrible, she has had two baths since coming home and still smells horrible. She smelled of urine/unclean. My dog's bed had urine and water on it. I ended up having to throw it away as the smell of urine is not coming out and the unclean scent. Mind you my dog is potty trained and has never had an accident, so my guess is she was not let out enough or at all. Her dog bed also had so many ants/bugs on it. My dog returned home, she ate so much and drank so much as if she was not fed appropriately. Which there were also instructions on her diet, we provided her own food and it's like the bag is not even touched. Her bowls were not touched/used that we provided. Facility also only accepts cash or check. My assumption is to avoid paying taxes. This was not mentioned at time of drop off or on the website. Had to return to make payment after visiting the bank.
