YOU READ THAT RIGHT! Voluntarily, she got rid of perishables that were going to be a problem. Good thing, I didn't get power back for another 5 days! What a mess I would've had. She also improvised extra water for the cats through the outage and made everything work for the well being of everyone (physical for cats and mentally for me!). We have had various animals that they have watched through out the years but most recently we have a 7 year old German Shepherd and a 7 month old Lab plus a kitten and two cats. Our sitter has been Hailey. In the beginning, everything was great! We would leave on a 10 day road trip and Hailey would come 4 times a day to take of the animals and we would get updates on the animals plus pictures. After some time, we started getting complaints about our dog Leo, the German Shepherd. That he was jumping on Hailey and causing scratches on her back. After that trip, I asked the owner, Crystal, if they could can still handle Leo and the verified "yes" that he was no problem. As time went on, we got Oso, a lab puppy. We just left on another 10 day road trip and received nothing but complaints and nagging about Oso almost every time Hailey went to our home. She complained so much about him, my husband and I stop replying to her messages. She accused my Oso of nipping and bitting her, which he has never done with me or my kids. I have video footage of her yelling at him and being aggressive towards him because once again, I have a 7 month puppy that will jump on her. Which 7 month old puppies will do! Hailey literally complained about almost everything about Oso. Aren't you a dog sitter? You are supposed to love animals but we definitely do not feel the love for our animals at all during this trip. Hailey is not qualified or has the the patience to deal with puppies or big dogs. 7 days into our trip, we are literally thousands of miles away and Crystal, the owner, calls us to say they no longer can take care of Oso and we need to come home! Or find another arrangement of care for him while we are still on the other side of the country! Are you kidding me?!? Thankfully, we found a lovely young man that was able to do it and he has been wonderful and says Oso is a wonderful puppy and has no issues with him! WOW! What a difference! Thankfully, since our family trip was intentionally ruined with Hailey and her complaints, we finally got to relax our last two days with the help with our new dog sitter, Junior! Honestly, we were not going to book with Crystal's Cozy Pets this trip, but wanted to give them another try. Boy, I should have listened to my gut. When you on vacation, you should be confident that you leave your pets in the hands of someone that will love and take care of them like you would and in all honesty, I don't feel like CCP's can do that.

My main worry is who is watching these dogs? And how no one was able to give me a straight answer on why and how my dog got hurt. Poor baby was anxious and scared the whole day. Went back to cancel the doggy day care plan that I had purchased, once again the girls at the front desk were understanding and cooperative but i just wouldn't risk bringing my dog here again.

Doing our research, we went to Pet Suites and found these rooms much more at home rather than keeping our pet in a kennel barking under fluorescent lights. Her room was a good size, well kept and clean. We usually don't keep her with other dogs and they made sure she could stay separated when having the outdoor play time and using the bathroom. Play, feeding, and bathroom were included. Very grateful for the fantastic/attentive staff and reasonable care. We would definitely book again in the near future.

When we first adopted her she did have trouble getting into the car and new places. I had time getting her to go in the door of Snuggles and Hugs. Darrell took her loved on her and Penny felt relaxed right a way. Now she runs to the door and and can't wait to see her friends there and get play time in. I will let you know how it went when I pick the dogs up this afternoon. Their rates are on www.activedogcamp.com. We had been using PetSmart Hotel and there you have to pay for every little additional item...ie treats, playtime, etc.. At Snuggles and Hugs it is all included. They texted me photo's of my dogs playing and working dog puzzles. (didn't even know there was such a thing.) We had to bring our dogs there for an interview last week which I wasn't crazy about but am so GLAD WE DID. They told me things about our dogs that explains how they relate to each other. It made sense! Also used the interview to determine what type of dogs they can play with or interact with. Again it made sense! PetSmart had decided our dogs were Aggressive and wouldn't let them play with other dogs. They have never bitten or snapped at any other dogs or people so I didn't agree with PetSmart. The Snuggles and Hugs guys introduced our dogs to different dogs in a controlled situation to see how they would interact. I'm excited to have found these guys....and I think my dogs are also. Very happy with Snuggles and Hugs.
