Another great cut for Wooky. Carmen and her staff really did a good job on cleaning Wooky up. I know it was a handful bc we love to keep him shaggy but Grooming Tails came through again. Wooky loves being around people and other dogs and you can tell when we pick him up that he's so happy and been cared for. He smells so great too. Smell good, feel good - am I right? I have been bringing my fur baby here for years and I absolutely LOVE Carla and her family! They are personable, kind, professional, and extremely caring. Copper comes back nicely groomed and smelling clean. I love they add the cutest bandannas that fit for every season. My fur baby is 4 and Grooming Tails is all he knows. Brought my pup in. Combed and brushed him since his last groom. However when I brought him in groomer states he was matted really badly so I stopped by to see what she was talking about. By the time I got there she had already snagged his chest hair to where there was a bald patch and was combing thru his back fur which didn't seem too matted it's just the fine tooth comb she was using. Didn't seem like the proper tool but I figured I wasn't too worried about how low she had to cut him just wanted him to look well groomed. Well when I picked him up which was 5 min before closing time he was so choppy. She didn't seem to be good at the grooming part. He was clean but I noticed his ears were choppy and uneven along with his back hair and chest is choppy and uneven. She even left some of his face debris from his tears caked up on his face. I had to remove and clean myself. I won't be bringing him back there. For $65 I should've bought the tools and did it myself instead. read more

We have been taking our Yorkie here for a couple of months and we love it! Friendly employees, clean environment, and fair pricing. They talk to you beforehand and ask of any grooming preferences you may have for your dog (which is helpful so there are no surprises when you pick up your dog). The basic grooming package includes bathing, nail clipping, teeth brushing, and hair brushing. We usually call beforehand and ask if they are particularly busy that day or not. My dog, Lexee, passes away 2 years ago but if I had a dog that needed a groom still I would most certainly go here! They are so great with dogs of all different breeds! Lexee was a Soft Coated Wheaton Terrier who no one knew how to cut in the Spring area as everyone just shaved her. She HATED being shaved. Took her to Grooming Tails, and they did a FANTASTIC JOB on her cut!! Even though she was old, they always accommodated her and made sure she was comfortable. Won't be going back. I brought in my King Charles cavalier puppy and I asked for wash, sanitary trim, under paws only and very short trim on ears. I got the exact opposite of what I requested. I was asked if I wanted whiskers trimmed I said no. His whiskers were trimmed. I asked for just the underpaw hair to be slightly trimmed. They trimmed his whole paws. The cut is very uneven especially noticeable on his back hind legs! I know hair grows back but it's like taking your baby Back from the worst haircut ever!!! Absolutely not the look I wanted for my King Charles Cavalier. I'm so disappointed. I went because of the good reviews but for sure if you decide to try them out make sure you are specific and they understand what your specific requests are. Good luck. Also the waiting area is not too clean, makes me wonder what the grooming area behind closed doors look like. read more

Went at 5pm to get my dogs nails trimmed. Walked in and was told they were closed, she proceeded to explain to me why the door was open and she was there by herself finishing up because of Christmas. Note: the website says they close at 6 pm. It took her longer to explain all this to me then it would have to just grab the clippers and trim my dogs nails. Lost my business! read more

This was my first visit and I lovvveeeeddd my puppy, Mochi's first cut! The lady who greeted me was sweet and wanted to know exactly what I wanted...Cheryl did my cut and she too was super sweet! Mochi loved it so much there he took forever to walk out to see me! Cheryl told me what she did and if I wanted to cut his face shorter or body she would do it...but he was so cute already nothing else needed to be done! Mochi is only 5 pounds so his overall session was 43 bucks..super reasonable! Will definitely be back..I can't get over how CUTE mochi looks! read more

This place did a great job on my two dogs. My labradoodle is usually a nervous wreck when she leaves the groomer and she did great with them! Both dogs cuts are amazing. They are the only groomers who actually listened to me and perfectly groomed our Wheaten and didn't just shave her, which is what three other places did. We won't go anywhere else. We have taken our 2 dogs here quite a few times since moving to the area. Really the only place we will take them after some issues at some well known pet store groomers. The prices are great, friendly people and only a couple issues but might of had a little to also do with squirmy pups, one nail cut too short (doesn't like her nails done) and hair on nose by eyes cut too short(he might have moved). We usually get baths, nails, teeth and one dog gets a trim. I always forget to call ahead to make an appointment so I'm usually calling the day before or day of and they usually get us in. We aren't on a schedule the days we drop them off so we drop off in the morning before 9am they call when they are ready. They usually ask if we need them by a certain time so if you do you can probably just let them know. Hopefully this doesn't jinx anything since we really like the place :-) read more
