This place has the worst customer service I've ever seen. I usually come here for dog food because I normally don't realize I need more dog food until he's only got two or three days of dog food left, don't have that problem anymore thanks to subscription service on Amazon for dog food!!! So I basically have no reason to come to this store until this past month! I was given a fish tank, having worked in a pet store I knew how to set it up correct and I even got some "test" fish to aid in the set up(not from here but you'll see that in a second). When it came time to actually stock the tank I decided on getting just a bunch of community fish, I headed to my nearest pet store, big mistake. Granted this one is a little bit my fault I rolled in 30 min before closing with a general idea of the fish I wanted. I went directly to the fish area and found the fish I wanted, but I couldn't find a sales person!!! I roamed the store and found somebody, she was straighten up the can dog food she said she'd be right over. I remember what closing was like at a pet store, I hated making sure all those tiny fish food containers were straight!!!! I waited 10 mins nobody showed so I wondered back where I last saw the sales persons, she was gone. The register person was ringing up a person and had a line of another so I decided not to bother her. I went back to the fish area for a minute and decided to cut my losses. (I did leave my wife in the fish area in case the sales person showed) Cut to this past Monday (5/23) I go in with ample time before closing, around 5 pm. Again with my wife, we roam the store looking at dog toys and stuff. In my brain I'm taking note of the sales people. I count two, the register person and some lady by the cats who is putting away items. When we finally get to the fish I check to make sure all the fish I wanted on my previous trip are still there, they are but the plants I wanted are less then to be desired. I go directly to the person by the cats for help, the fish aren't her department and she'll get someone. 10-15 mins pass, I have seen a sales person but they were in the distances and helping a customer, also the cat department person has yet to return. I lap the store, this is getting ridiculous, I can't even find the sales persons I saw a minute ago. Is there some hidy hole that I don't know about. Again the cash register person is busy with three people this time. I give up, they don't want me to buy fish, or anything else for that matter unless I get it myself read more

Normally we shop at Petco but since we were at Town Center and just needed a new harness for our dog, we came here. We were looking at the harnesses and an associate came to help us. Great! Truly appreciated, especially since the pricing labels were so confusing. We picked one that was $16.99 (with the help of the associate) and went to pay. It rang up at $25.99. So the cashier called for assistance. Another associate came and we showed her the price. She quickly ripped it off and said sorry that's confusing. It's $24.99 (which is STILL not what it rang up as). We ended up not buying it because the associate wasn't truly apologetic and didn't seem to care that one of their own employees told us it was $16.99. Very poor customer service. We'll continue going to Petco as usual. read more

I have been in here a few times before. The staff is really friendly and helpful. I'm not sure how good the grooming is here but they offer grooming services. I came here on a Sunday and they have the Oahu SPCA here. I like how they encourage people to adopt. When comparing prices it seems a little cheaper than petco. read more

I had a great experience here . I need to get new leashes for my dogs and I brought my dogs with me . A Lovely employee spent a good length of time helping me size my dogs for their leashes and harnesses . I appreciate the time spent helping me and my dogs . read more

The service here is poor but they do have some decent prices on our favorites. The cashiers look miserable and never ask me for my points card which annoys me. This may appall some but I have had better service at Petco even though their prices are sky rocket I still feel inclined to go there just for the better customer service experience. read more

RE: GROOMING Out of desperation, I took my dog to PETSMART in Mililani. The groomer was Karen...nice lady. What was not so nice is the company having their groomers sell more services. I do not blame Karen for this. Filing nails, doggies special shampoo, conditioner, etc., I was quoted $82.00. I had to put her brakes on this nonsense and by the time I was through backing up to basic service, it came out to $57.00. I hate the way they operate. I also watched how some of the groomers managed the dogs..one groomer was rough in her handling....one groomer tells a dog "I'm nice to you, so you be nice to me too"....and there was no sweetness in the tone....but, you know customers can see and hear everything...I had no visual indication that they cared or loved dogs. I would say don't use their services if you can possibly avoid it. read more

We are new to the area. I found what I needed thanks to an older gentlemen employee who was doing a price check for a customer...and he promise to come back to me ..Usually people forget, but the gentleman came back and helped me find what I needed....I appreciate the excellent customer service. I seriously need to get people's names...so when u go in you can ask for their help too read more

Just bought food today for our doggie. Caesar Wet dog food was 20 cans for $14. They had lots of variety too. I like this store, it's very clean. Well stocked and prices are reasonable. Employees are friendly, very helpful. They have clean up stations too. Lots of parking!! read more

It's pretty small and the selection isn't the best, but when you need a kong and some cat food, it works. Staff was nice, as were the other customers. Prices are cheaper online, but then you have to consider shipping. They do not carry my dog food brand (nor did I expect them to), but they did have the cat's favorite canned food. All in all, it's ok. read more

Love this store it's clean always organized. The shelfs are always stock. Employes are very helpful and polite. The best one on Oahu I always come here. read more

Well, not sure what a 6-week dog training class should look like BUT for my experience, not good. trainer brought her own dogs to each class, we pretty much spent the whole hour having a 'rap session', no standing, no dog training, nothing. Just talking. Even checked the brochure on each weekly class and yes there is 'discussion' BUT then there is also hands on training listed. We never saw anything like that. Just rap sessions, sitting around on hard stools. Dogs going crazy because they can't just lie there for an hour. Very disappointing. read more

After months of short baths, it was time for my two chocolate Labrador pups to get their first grooming. I was hesitant to bring them at first because they can be overly excited, but the employees at PetSmart were very welcoming. Jenny was so sweet and the pups just loved her to pieces! When they were ready to be picked up, they both looked like angels with their complimentary Halloween bandanas. I recommend giving this place a go because the employees sure do care for all pets. read more

Excellent service for Cat grooming. Not many groomers will do cats, but these guys will and will do a fantastic job. The staff is very caring for the animals, and knowledgable. They won me over for life. read more

Kind of late in my post...BUT...overall great job with my Angel and Roxy. A little on the pricey side BUT they outline every service done to my Angel. Close to home, has what we need, reasonable prices and our Chewy Chewbacca loves his groomer Karen !!

I was extremely sadden when I found out Marcus Meade was no longer working at Pet Smart. He is the BEST dog trainer. I live in Kailua and drove to Mililani once a week for my puppy training class. Then we took the intermediate class with him too. We stopped going for about 2 months because my puppy almost died due to a liver shunt which we didn't know about and I needed to get him healthy again. Just came back to start advance training classes with Marcus and he's gone! Wow - I called and spoke with Kevin & he was just like we have other trainers and I told him no you don't understand Marcus already built that bond/compassion with my dog & me and he was just the bomb trainer! I don't want another trainer. Also he knew everything to try, my shortybull is stubborn and Marcus got him to listen! I hope pet smart knows that Marcus was a very valuable employee! read more

I went to this pet store to buy some items for our four year old dog. The employees here were very friendly and attentive when I walked in. I was asked several times if I had any questions and we provided with informative responses each time. Upon checking out I was given a coupon for the next time I come in. I will definitely be returning soon(: read more

As far as mainland chain pet stores are concerned, this one is ok. Smaller than Petco and a bit on the dingy looking side (I'm pretty sure it's the lighting), this Petsmart still has all the supplies I need in stock, which is a big perk. Petco tends to be out of items quite often, so being able to go to a store and get the items I need when I need them is a high plus in my book. Customer service is subpar - save for the cashiers that are often very friendly - but so is the service at Petco. There is just never a sales rep on the floor when I need them at either establishment. However, a big positive is that here, when I am able to track down a rep, I often get friendly customer service. read more

Finally, a pet store in Mililani that doesn't look like it needs to be condemned or have the humane society check the animals. In the Mililani town center, right by A & W and across from the Straub clinic is the newest addition to the town center. A mainland store with high prices but hard to find items and grooming. The animals for sale look healthy and well cared for (I love taking my 3 year old to look at the birds and the gerbils) and the isles are clean and well stocked. There is very little negative to mention about a place with friendly and knowledgeable salespeople and plenty of parking. So while only 3 stars? Prices for one. You aren't going to find any great deals, and you'll still find a better price on regular dog food at Walmart. Second, I dislike a mainland company coming in to push out the mom and pops. Granted the other pet stores in Mililani leave much, much, to be desired- I still am going to try and support the local company when I can. I've already used Petsmart a couple of times just to run in and find something really quick, and I would go back if I am looking for something specific. I'm still going to get my regular dog and cat food at Costco. All in all, I do think it's a great addition to the town center. If they could just lower the prices a hair, I'd consider going here on a more regular basis. read more

I want to recognize the people who work at this store in Mililani. I have visited this store many times and have always been greeted and asked if I needed any help by their employees. I appreciate the service from them. Thanks..... read more

For the past 3 days I have religiously been stalking Petsmart. Had a 6 yr old 55 gal aquarium that needed major overhauling inside and out. Prob visited 5-6 pet stores from mililani to aiea and by far Petsmart was the best. Super clean store(doesnt smell like dog when u walk in), free dog treats, and the top-of-the-line equipment are all available. In fact not sure if certain employees are asssigned to certain depts. but the workers that helped me were top-notch. They knew tons of info. and details and didn't complain about scooping 7 different fish for me. Live animals look clean and healthy including the small aquascape plant life. Only reason for losing a star is because a lot of the cheap sale items were already sold out and there was no "back stock". We'll..$230 later and my tank went from looking ghetto and drab to a living room "show piece"(IMHO). My kids even said it looks like a tank from the dentist office. Thanks Petsmart...u got a fan for life!! read more

PetSmart - My new aquarium. - Pet Groomers Near Me - Mililani, Hawaii

I went here once to get stuff for my kitty & fishes. They have a wide variety of things to choose from, the prices are reasonable also. The staff is very nice. I like how the store is CLEAN! Haha, that's a big one. Also it's a great place to bring your dogs in for grooming! They will put a cute little bow on him/her or you can choose to put colored feather extensions which looks really cute in medium/long haired dogs! Don't Ask for Tatiana (: read more

Well I have to say that Petsmart as a company has a great training program. However, just like any teacher, they are not perfect.....

The store is clean and the staff are friendly. Our dogs get their nails done here occasionally. We are in the beginner pet training class for our boy diesel. It's been helpful and good to socialize him in a controlled environment. They don't offer military discount like petco does but they have a store card that can give you savings at the register. They do not have animals like cats or dogs in the store, only the occasional shelter volunteer opportunities on the weekend. read more

Grooming- We have taken our crazy mutts to both Stormy and Sam. They got great cuts from both of them. We have a rescue dog and Sam has worked with him and he can. Is have the grinder used on his nails. They are so good with our dogs. We have a large terrier who is a big scaredy and today he walked right in read to be groomed, he loves Sam. We also have a rambunctious Scottish terrier that looks fabulous after her groom. The only downside is that it is expensive here and it's not always the same price even for the same services but they are worth the price. We couldn't see Stormy or Sam one time and it was awful they looked they got cut by lawn mowers so be mindful who you get there. read more

I took my pet for grooming today and was very satisfied with the service. Kenzie was the groomer and she did exactly what I asked her to do. She even made a cute little bow for my dogs hair. read more

I shop at PetSmart cause I spoil the crap out of my little baby. He if he likes the location, then we will go and frequent which the staff here he seemed to have fallen in love with. Doesn't get any better! Oh and great prices too! On base and around the area... prices can get up there... but this spot has great specials throughout the year on some more expensive items too. I can't beat it. Love it! read more

Checked out the prices and availability of the pet items that I typically purchase and I have to say that for the items that they stocked, the prices were a bit steep. Close proximity to home and their buyers club is convinient. They have everything we need from a pet store, minus the pets. Cannot comment on grooming, but they do seem to have alot of pets in for grooming, so they must be ok. read more

My favorite pet smart! They have everything you need and all the workers are always helpful and friendly. This review is over due and I wanted to make a review for the grooming salon. I love taking my dog to see Tatiana because she always does a great job and she is very gentle and friendly. It's really easy you can book an appointment online. They even call you a day or two before your appointment to remind you. I've been a loyal customer since they opened. If anyone needs a really good groomer book your appointment with Tatiana. Spent 30 mins in the store trying to find an associate to ask a question, not ONE on the floor. One cashier with a huge line. I'll be ordering off line from somewhere else from now on. I've never had a bad experience with Petsmart until today. Unfortunate. read more

The cashier should get a lesson in customer service. She was not helpful and acted as if she was doing me a favor by servicing me. I do not understand it, all the other workers as very helpful and informative. I had a coupon to get dog food and she told me something was wrong with the coupon and I could not use it. I explained I just got it in my email. She just stared at me with no response. She had the look on her face "well, I have'nt got all day." I got frustrated and just paid for it. She gave no explanation, no attempt to figure out what I else could be wrong, nothing. I observed her with a customer in front of me and she did not even say thank you or anything when she completed the transaction, especially when she made him wait for a few minutes getting change for a hundred dollar bill. If this is the kind of service they overall provide, I 'll go back to PETCO, they gladly take my money, at least with a smile on their face. I drove all the way from EWA to this store, maybe I should'nt shop here. It was a waste of gas and my time. read more

I love bringing the dogs here for grooming! The ladies in there are great and really friendly. They'll let you bring the dogs early (an hour) for their baths. read more

I love how the store is well kept clean compared to other pet stores but I'm giving Mililani Petsmart two stars because the first time I bought fish, the lady said I could only buy a limited amount of fish because of the size of the tank. At the time I only had 4 tiny guppies and I thought i had a lot of room for more fish but she kept insisting I'd only get two. I also couldn't get the type of fish I wanted. She said it would be too big for my tank which I disagreed because even with my guppies they still have lots of room to swim. So She let me buy a male and female silver Molly and nothing else. So after having my fish for so long, a couple died because it was their time I guess. So today I went to go buy some fish since I had some room to fill in my tank. I already knew what I wanted but again, the lady working there said she can't give me the fish I wanted. Is it really their choice of what fish we can and cannot get? I'm the one who's buying it not her. She kept suggesting the ones I should get and none of them was the ones I wanted. After my fish died I had 3 guppies and a male silver Molly. His partner died and I wanted replace her with another female and she said she can't allow it but the first time I went she let me buy them as a pair. I just didn't understand because she was the same lady who let me buy them together and I had more fish in the tank at the time. Now I have less fish in the tank and I just wanted one fish and she said she won't allow it. But then she suggests I get two guppies. I don't know, to me she doesn't seem like she knew what she was talking about but just acting like a miss know it all, I'm sorry. So I just got the two guppies even though it's not what we wanted because I didn't want to leave empty handed and disappoint my kids. And my poor male silver Molly will have to be lonely for now. Lol I have never had a problem at any other pet store of how much fish and what kind of fish we can and cannot buy. They talk about how much fish should be in a tank but all their fish are crammed in tiny tanks until they're bought. Kind of a bunch of BS. It's okay though. I'm gonna upgrade to a much bigger tank and they can't tell me what fish and how much I can get. read more

I been to a lot of pet stores and I think PetSmart has the best customer service. I am at other pet stores looking to purchase some fishes and no one ever comes around to see if you need help. The first time I been to PetSmart I was asked 3 times if I needed help, 1 person came by and asked If I had any questions, another came by and told me where they would be when I was ready to purchase the fish. Their store is very clean, very good selections of different fish, and very good selections on fish tanks and stands. Its too bad they don't have tip jars because their customer service is great. read more

I booked an appointment 2 weeks in advanced for my 5 month Schnauzer groom. I brought him in on time at 1100. After 3 pm I called and was told they were overbooked and my puppy was in a cage still not groomed yet and would be at least another hour. So, I went and rescued him. Imagine being stuck in a crate, and I doubt there was any water because he drank a lot when he got home and was stressed. Never again ! It was not my problem they overbooked. It was theirs ! read more

Been going to PetSmart for the past 2-3 years now for both my dogs for their grooming; My dogs love Karen, and often cannot wait to see her. She's very thorough, and if my dogs are happy, I'm happy too. Also love their products, my dogs are very picky, and some of the treats they like are pretty pricey. Its always a joy talking with this lady (don't know her name) who works either at the register or on the floor. Whats disappointing is that PetSmart online purchasing.....they don't ship to Hawaii and the store will not order something online that they no longer or do not carry. read more

This is a nice store and pricey. I'd still support the local business. The people here don't know much on the products at least four that I had asked questions on. I realize there are a lot of items to know about but if you're going to work in a place like this , if the company don't offer seminars I'd suggested employee to take job seriously and look around the store see what is in there. Learn more about the products . I really was in need of dog food and supplies but since the staff couldn't answer my questions (which I already knew the answer) just wanted to see if the staff knew. I left without buying anything, Will Stay With The Local Businesses. read more

If I could give negative stars I would.... We went there to purchase things for out aquarium because they have a friends and family sale going on 15% off. We found a filter for 169.99 in store 80.89 on line. They priced matched thank you then went to buy tubing, pump, and light. And then when we asked if they applied the friends and family discount that they been advertising throughout the whole store. When asked if they applied the discount manager and employee (employee number 515429) they both said no because you don't have a coupon. When no where in the advertising ads states that you need one. Then when we stated said policies they said that we received to much discount because we make sure we know how to shop. When we told them that their own website stated that the pump was $8 with 15% off they told me to order it online. While giving us attitude, making and everyone in line wondering why are you even in customer service with attitude like this. We called the new pet smart in town to see if the policies are different by stores and they said no. The policies are the same throughout all stores and they would gladly help us with the adjustment. To the lady in Mililani just cause you are not happy with whatever it is don't need to take it out on the customers and don't do a store wide sale if you are not going to honor the sale!! We're never going to the Mililani Pet smart again read more
