This review is for the pet hotel - We left our dog here Friday 7/18/14 and picked him up on Sunday 7/20.... Ace has stayed at the petsmart hotel off Rainbow and we never had any problems. When we pick him up from that location, he is always so excited to see us that he won't stop jumping and acting crazy. Today when we picked up Ace, we noticed a change in his behavior (He didn't jump and seemed scared). He also got scared when we went to pet him. The biggest and most upsetting thing we noticed was that his left eye was REALLY red. I asked the lady at the front why that was and she told me the dogs have choke collars when they are on the leash that choke whenever the dog pulls on the leash. I told her that her suggestion didn't make sense because only ONE eye was really red. She gave me her card and told me to give her a call after he sees the vet. Ok....... So now we are at home. 3 hours have passed and his eye is getting worse! He seems to have an infection and his eye is swollen with discharge. IF this is an "allergy" how she also suggested, I will be back tomorrow after our doctors visit and fix my review. Until then, I will never be back here again! read more

Ann does such a great job with my dog! He really love her. I will always go to Ann to groom my dog she has such a great attitude!!!

I have been going to this PetSmart for about 3 years and they must have gotten some new people here because the groomers are outstanding. I attempted to groom my poodles by myself and, ooof what a mess I made! The girls at PetSmart did a fantastic job of making the look beautiful. They even accommodated me when I accidentally made my reservation at the Lake Meade store. First class all the way! read more

Always pretty clean and the grooming department is good. Sometimes dead fish in the aquariums but I feel like they do a good job overall.

When we first had to board our dogs we brought them to the PetsHotel because we new someone was there 24/7 and we went through Banfield (which is in some Petsmart's) for their vets. The pricing didn't seem too bad at first till I found another place that was a little cheaper still had someone on site 24/7, they played all day in the play area with no extra cost, weren't kept in a kennel setting and I didn't have to pay for the extra's like you do at PetsHotel. You have to pay for extra play time if you want your pet to have it, you have to pay them extra per pill or medication per day and you have to pay for an exit bath if you want them to smell good when they come home (yes it's cheaper than just going through the groomer's there but still just let that be apart of the package). You can pay for special treat's like doggie ice cream, let's just hope that they get it since you pay for it! I did like that if you went over check out time you were not charged an extra day they would just put that day as day care so it was cheaper. read more

PetHotel is Awesome! Had to leave my dogs here at very short notice. The staff here are very friendly, extremely knowledgeable and took excellent care of my dogs. My dogs had raised beds and bedding in each room so the we're comfy. I did take in my own water and they were happy to give it to the dogs, definitely not an inconvenience. I also took my own food that needed to be refrigerated, again, no issue. They also had a Kong treat every day. Because I have Pits, they can't go into camp but they gave them extra potty walks on top of the normal scheduled ones. I felt very comfortable and would definitely leave them here again. read more

Unprofessional employees. My girl dog got a botched facial trim & now looks like a boy dog, imagine Elvis with sideburns. Raj cut my dog's facial fur & do not recommend him. Do your own research on Yelp, or by word of mouth. You will be able to find a better place to take your dog(s) to get groomed & will be satisfied with the results. read more

Just needed to take a minute and say Thank you PetSmart for making the decision to stay open. My dog can not be alone so when I am at work he is in camp...that is five days a week. These are scary times. we are all afraid is contracting the Coronavirus. But I need to work and I am so relieved to know I can count on you to take care of the most precious being in my live. The staff at this location is stellar. They are always friendly, helpful and professjonal. I trust them completely to take the best care of my Bentley. Thank you so very much. read more

For my pet needs, no problem finding what I need. The selves are always stocked. Items that are not on sale is about average to other pet stores. I like this store are the employees. Courteous and knowledgeable on the items and my needs. This store has groomers, veterinarian, and hotel for boarding. That's good to have, in case where I take my dogs normally are busy. read more

I was in petsmart Saturday and the checker commented we are having a sale 2 for 1 on cats. I was appalled I thought we were suppose to be saving pets not giving them away!!! Very disappointed! read more

I am a frequent shopper of the Petsmart on Stephanie and the employees are always very kind and helpful. Unfortunately not so much on Saturday morning, the day after Black Friday. I noticed some dog treats that were on sale so I excitingly grabbed a couple boxes. When I went to the counter I was rudely greeted by an older employee with long blackish grey hair possibly named Brittany advising me the price was wrong and would not honor the prices listed on the product floor. The employee cut me off continuously claiming it was a "Black Friday" price and refused to honor it along with her unprofessional attitude. Eventually she called the manager, which he or she advised her to honor the prices as the product floor DID show the dog treats were discounted. When I said thank you she refused to apologize or say another word. Basically shoved us out the door with our purchase. This employee needs to be retrained on customer service and understand that if a price is listed regardless of when it should have been taken down, you must honor it. I liked this store but may choose the other more convenient location for me in Henderson. read more

I've been shopping at this specific Petsmart location for years. After tonight, I'm never going back. My mom and I decided to stop in real quick to buy some cat toys. As we were walking through the store we both noticed an older female employee following us. We ignored her and continued to shop. But she kept following us and would openly stare when my mom or I would pick up an item. (She wasn't stealth about it either.) Apparently if you wear an oversized hoodie to Petsmart, they automatically assume you're going to stuff overpriced cat toys in it. I understand her job includes looking out for shoplifters but I find it incredibly insulting she assumed I was going to steal just by looking at my appearance.. My mom and I still purchased some kitty toys which we regret because they fell apart as soon as we took the packaging off. read more

I have ordered an item online. And Received my confirmation by email saying that it is ready for pick up. I went to the store after work thinking it would be ready for pick up. The order was not ready nor was it in the system. I spoke to the manager and he just basically said to call and he did not want to help me. read more

So I needed to grab some food and litter before work at 9 and on the website and good maps said this place opens at 8am. So I show up at 8 and I am met with locked doors. "Perhaps they haven been able to get to the doors yet" I thought. "No problem, I'll give them a few minutes." About a minute later, this lady with a very upset look on her face came through the doors. "Hi, I just needed to grab some food and litter." A very short and stern "we open at 9" fell out of her mouth. "Oh I'm sorry, it says..." before I can even finish my sentence I am hit with another, "NO, we open at 9." Like...alright bitch, no one gave you an attitude but if you're going to bring one you get a 2 outa 5. And the only reason its 2 is because usually when I go here they are very nice. But I have never been snapped like this fat broad snapped at me.l for seemingly no reason and an honest mistake. If you don't like your job hun, get another one read more

I Not worth the trouble. Morons at the check stand....no seriously, Walmart wouldn't hire these people without special shots. I suspect the service departments (grooming etc.) might be acceptable but I am not going to find out. Just trying to get checked out leaves me to believe that would suck also. The inventory of toys looks like they're all rejects and the food prices are not impressive. Look elsewhere, DH read more

If I could rate the Petsmart hotel no stars....I would! Be warned if you are looking to board you pet here!! DO NOT bring your pet here for boarding!! The people who are in charge here are not responsible and are not polite. My dog was very traumatized from staying there, which he has been boarded in the past and never had this experience or acted weird when we picked him up! First, I called on Saturday to check on my dog, since I wondered how he was doing. I called on a Saturday, they were understandably but that is not my point....I called and left a message on their machine to get a called back....well about 5 hours passed and we did not get a call back, so I called back and when I asked why nobody called me back, they told me somebody did according to their "notes" but the funny thing is that nobody called back and checked the messages on our house phone and there was not any messages left by anyone from the pet hotel! The next thing is that they overfed our dog - we gave them enough food in the event our flight was delayed to where he would have enough food for the morning....when they brought what was left of his food, there was less than 1/2 of cup which is about 1 3/4 of a cup less, he is fed close to 2 cups per meal twice a day. Lastly, he had poop stuck to his butt which was very hard to get out and my dog has NEVER has poop stuck to this butt!! I really felt like they did not really pay much attention to the dog. They are also over priced - if you want your dog to have "play time" it's extra compared to other places where it is included in the price. If you love your pet, do not board you pet here! I would suggest either Doggie District or Camp Bow Wow. read more

Keeping the girls spoiled all the time I get their food, treats and toys at Petsmart. This is my go to location due to its closeness to my house and I usually go to Sprouts on the same trip, very convenient! Always a friendly staff and there is never that long of a line. They have yet to run out of the products I buy so I will keep coming back read more

I was shocked to see the bad reviews for this location. This is always my first choice to get my pug and Bernese shepherd mix groomed. I have taken them to many Petco locations and was always dissatisfied. I always get my 125 lb. shepherd mix shaved, and they do a beautiful job with blending and trimming the feathering on his ears and tail. I will keep taking my dogs here to get groomed and highly recommend it to others with furry friends. read more

This review is for the Pet Hotel. I love it! My dog had stayed there a few times and he loves it there. He's a big cuddle bug and the staff cuddle with him and helps him feel comfortable. My dog is really attached to me so I was nervous about him staying at a kennel but the Pet Hotel takes great care of him. read more

Don't go here. I worked for PetSmart for years and I have never encountered such a lackadaisical attitude. Staff is perfectly comfortable lying to you to get you out of the store. I was told that they would have my dogs food in stock today because I stopped in yesterday and they were out. The staff member told me that truck comes in tomorrow and that they for sure have it coming in. She checked the system. Surprise surprise upon my arrival the next day they didn't have it. When I questioned the staff about what was going on they couldn't have cared less. I asked if I was able to pay for it then have it shipped to my house for the inconvenience. Considering I'd been in two days in a row for the same item. They refused and sent me on my way said that it would be free online......it is not. If I was relying on them and only them to get dog food my dog would starve. Thanks for nothing, customer aren't clueless. We know when we are being rushed or talked down to. read more

this is the ONLY place I will send my two rowdy Boston Terrier boys :D I love their report cards and they have never acted "weird" or different even upon a week of stay :D love this place and love that they gain coupons for free stays at Day Camp if we go there a lot in one month never had an issue and the staff really love their jobs read more

I have to vent. I made an appointment to get my dog bathed and furminated for Saturday. I have been coming here for a long time with no issues. When I arrived, the reception person asked for my dog's rabies vaccine card. I wasn't told to bring it when I made the appt. So she calls my Vet's office. My dog was due for her rabies shot on 10/31, my appt was 11/2. I had her rabies shot scheduled for 11/15. They wouldn't take her! They just lost my business. read more

I have taken my four mini dachshunds here twice now. The place has been great both times. Whenever I am headed to or past Vegas I will be leaving the pooches in this doggie resort. The staff is always friendly and you can tell they genuinely love animals at the Petshotel. When the dogs come in for Daycamp the people know their names and the pets are happy to see them. Whenever we pick the dogs up they are clean and ready to go. The staff washes the blankets for us and gives them a bath on the way out. My dogs always seem happy when I pick them up. They do take more naps than usual after a little vaca but so do I. Sometimes you need a vaca for after your vaca. I have taken them to other places were they seemed lethargic for the better part of a week. Not here. We also have them getting a little more attention than normal. We get the younger two group play time and the older two get individual playtime together. They love the extra attention and the attention the staff gives is great. It is not just a job, its a love of animals that comes thru when they interact with the dogs. For those of you that have given bad reviews because the store is dirty or your dog left with kennel cough, the store is just that a Petsmart. It is not sparkling clean or anything close but it is definitely clean enough. It seems well stocked and yes the cashier is usually some teen or college kid that could care less. That job pays about 8 bucks an hour and that's what you get for 8 bucks. I can deal if it keeps the prices low. Most of the staff is very friendly though! The kennel cough? You blame Petsmart that your dog picked it up there? You're pretty good if you can pin point that and I'm sure it came in with someone's dog. Petsmart checks vaccines and won't let you stay if you are not up to date. That does not mean you are automatically never going to have a case of Bordetella come through! Petsmart does not have a can of kennel cough that they dip in to for every 7th customer. Your pet may have a week immune system. maybe there was a problem with the vaccine's integrity? Lots of variables, lets not try to put it on Petsmart. I know I had to jump through hoops with the records and paperwork for my 4 dogs. Anyway, if you are going to Vegas and need a place to leave the dogs, try them out. The hours are awesome! 7-9 M-Sa and 7-7 on Sunday. I would leave my dogs at Parks in Provo if they had better hours no question about it. But, I live in Utah and M-F 7-5 and 3 hours on Saturdays does not cut it for me. The only thing keeping it from getting 5 stars is the price. $28.00 for a regular room and a $2.00 discount for 2 dogs in same room per night. $9 and $8 for individual and group playtime respectively. $2.00 to give one dog medication. $11.00 for the exit bath. OUCH!!!!! Add up three nights and four days and yes you get $422! I do have 4 dogs though! This is also an off strip location that is convenient when we are on our way to SoCal. We will be back! read more

I had a good experience at this location. I came to pick up my family's French Bulldog, Stitch from the groomer. I arrived, retrieved my receipt, paid at the front, looked around, and Stitch was waiting for me in their lobby with an associate. While looking around, I noticed that the aisles were very clean. I peeped into the reptile, bird, and rodent "homes" and they were also clean. The reptiles (mostly the snakes and lizards) were out and about, the birds chirping loud, and the guinea pigs weren't hiding. This left a good impression because often times I've gone into pet stores and the animals are hiding, shaking with fear. I will definitely return with Stitch and would recommend this location. read more

This review is only for the doggie day camp. I believe dogs should spend time with their own species. My dog, on the other hand, would probably be happy being only with me 24 hours a day. So it's good for him to get away and have this experience. When I take him there, he's very excited. When he gets to the door leading to the kennels, he changes his mind, realizing that I'm not coming, and doesn't want to go. However, he adjusts well and ends up having a ball with the other dogs during his time at day camp. So my experience with PetSmart's day camp has been positive, and I love their little extras you can get for your dog during his stay for a fee, such as ice cream and other treats. They can also have your dog groomed during that time so when you get there, everything is done. The check-in can be fairly fast, but it's a hit or miss depending on how many customers are there. read more

I love this store! The manager is always super helpful and the staff are so good with my big four-legged baby. They have worked wonders with this shy pup, who when adopted, was afraid of his own shadow, and now frequents, loves, and participates in the romps of doggy daycare. It makes my heart happy to see him wag his tail as we enter the store and to know that when I cannot be with him, that he continues to be loved and cared for throughout the day. Thank you for your big hearts. read more

We love PetSmart Hotel on Stephanie in Henderson. We've always taken our fur-baby, Miss Tika, to PetSmart when we're traveling or even doing Staycations. Miss Tika is quite the regular and the boarding staff takes great care of her--especially Erika who goes above & beyond making sure Tika gets set up with her usual accommodations including a suite, private play time as well as ensuring everyone knows she's on a special diet. Erika really worked her magic this past weekend: apparently when my Hubby booked Tika's stay on-line he somehow selected an atrium kennel instead of a suite. Fortunately, Erika was able to get everything sorted out as she says "we all know Tika likes to live the 'suite' life!". And when we pick up Tika she is always happy, alert and seems to have had a nice little vacation. read more

I went to the pet hospital, I do not recommend going here! They are not knowledgeable of pets and they are rough with your pet, the old bitch at the reception was extremely rude and told me I look old, as well as she had no idea what she was doing... I don't ever want to go back there, I'm very dissatisfied with what happened. I went in there because my dog fell out of my arms and she was hurt she can barely walk and they said oh here some pain medication and I'm like OK so what's the next step they said they didn't know so I am never ever going there again literally no knowledge on anything to do with pets very upsetting! read more

We used to go to this location often to get my dogs groomed however, after my last experience I have never gone there again. I took my small chihuahua in for a grooming session as a walk in to see if there was any time for her. I looked a couple hours ahead online to see if there were appointments and they had 3 openings. When we asked the girl in the front if they could she told me she did not have ANY appointment times open for the next 2 days. She also insisted that they only do dogs with reservations which I know that is not true. I understand that groomers get booked very quickly and the chance of taking in my dog that day was slim but not having any for 2 days after? You're telling me for 2 whole days - 7am to 7pm - there are absolutely no openings AT ALL? Very disappointed. read more

This was the third time we had our half lab-half poodle (labradoodle) dog shaved at this Petsmart.. the first two times were done ok...and we were charged $58. I'm writing this review based on a incident that occurred today at the PetSmart Grooming salon. I took our pets in for what would have just been a just a bath, but decided to just have them completely groomed and have their nails grinded down. I was told they would be ready in three to four hours and I went about my day. My dogs have been here before and we've never had an issue. My oldest dog Bella has been coming in for grooming since she was six months old she is now five years old, and because it's always been a pleasant experience we started bringing our newest family member Layla. Layla has been here three times once for just a bath and the other two for grooming which included nail grinding. When we got there we were informed that an incident had occurred with Layla and she was taking next door to the Banfield Pet Hospital located in the PetSmart. The groomer explained to my mother and myself that she had become very excited and started bleeding profusely from her nose and we should go talk to the vet. As we spoke to the Vet she told us about different possiblities she said it could be a blood condition, or something lodged in her nose, but she never heard of a dog's nose bleeding because she/ he was excited. We told her Layla had been here before and had the same services with no issue before. I told her can her nose bleeding from being dropped she shock her said yes and we should ask them to review the camara footage. I was livid I immediately asked to speak to a manager and he came out and as I told him he said he had no knowledge of this incident. He started spoke to the vet and the grooming employees and then when I told him I'm taking my dog to a pet hospital and PetSmart is going to pay for it. He gave me some attitude and went back a second time with the vet he came out after almost fifthteen minutes and said take her to a pet hospital and bring me the copies we will take care of it. I'm scared for her because receiving such a strong blow to her head can be very serious for a puppy especially strong enough to have caused a nose bleed. I will be in touch with PetSmart corporate offices as well.... Wanted to update my review with what the Vet said at the Emergency dog hospital she indeed was dropped pretty hard and has a trama to her head.. PLEASE AVOID THIS LOCATION !!! THE GROOMERS WILL INJURE YOU'RE DOG AND BLAME THE POOR ANIMAL FOR THIER NEGLIGENCE!!!! read more
