My pups really love coming here for daycare! They have so many furriends and get lots of love from the counselors. HPR just celebrated their 10 year anniversary and we are one of their long-term clients who have been there the entire time! Not only is there daycare available starting at 6am, which is phenomenal for those of us who start their day early, but also birthday pawtys, boarding, grooming, and training. My dogs have done it all and they get so excited when it's time to play!! Daycare packages offer financial savings, and they also have rewards that are basically converted into cash towards purchases. The staff can be contacted via text or email. If a phone call is needed, I can reach out or sometimes the groomer will call with questions. Highly recommend to give Henderson Pet Resort a try! Easy drop off and pick up with short-term parking up front. The staff can also help bring the dogs in and out, if needed. Was in Vegas Right husband's birthday had my dog with me. It was my first time taking her to a boarding facility for any period of time. I trained seeing eye dogs for the blind, so my dog is well trained. Starts with them saying they will call me after her evaluation. They don't. I had to reach out to them. When I asked how peeps did, they said she was timid. Which is fine. They hve webcams. So I checked them, peeps was sitting by the door with 25+ other dogs and had zero interaction with humans the entire time I watched. They just had a lady come to clean up after the babies when they went potty. Not ok if you ask me. But I said it was just for the day. I checked the cams 4 times. Same thing everytime. Was 5 min late. They text 6 min before I arrived and said they were going to keep her overnight. I'm not from this town and said absolutely not and had to bribe them to let me pick her up. When I got there, they had lost her bowls. She only drinks a ceramic bowls, not metal ones and I looked in her bag to notice. They had not fed her at all. Her wet food was untouched. So I am going to assume they didn't feed her cause she was starving. She's too scared to drink out of metal bowls. I specified that she needs her own bowls or won't eat and drink. so I don't think she was given water or food the entire day. I am overly disturbed by this careless action. Yelp only allows me to send you a private message, so here it is for the record. Let's be clear: the only reason you shared anything with Henderson Animal Protection Services is because I contacted them and requested a full investigation into what happened to Reyna at your facility. You're trying to frame it as if you proactively reached out for transparency. That is simply not true. Second, you did not provide Animal Protection Services with all of the video footage. Their report states this clearly. Officer Aaron wrote that she was only given a low-quality clip that was texted to her -- not the full footage I repeatedly requested. You cherry-picked what you wanted to send and then told her you had deleted the play-area footage from the day of the incident just two weeks later. That footage was specifically requested and was never furnished. Next, the autopsy does not show that Reyna had an underlying heart condition. You clearly did not read it. The experts noted normal age-related changes and stated that a heart event was speculation, not a diagnosis. There was nothing in the report indicating any serious pre-existing heart issue. I do need to say this after reading some recent reviews and using this facility as of lately. I don't know if HPR is at fault or not but it's concerning someone's dog died here. My cat Cosmo died here March 2024. I was told he was left for the night and in the morning he was found in the cat tree dead. I was so devastated. We were literally on our way to get him. HPR paid for the necropsy and I was told it could have been heart failure. I've always battled myself wondering what happened to my baby. The most devastating feeling is going on vacation and you're already nervous to leave them then you're told they are gone and they died alone in a strange place. It is devastating. I thought I'd give them another chance and we brought our dog and cat here recently while on vacation. Both times my dog left here very sick. I mean throwing up, diarrhea, you name it. They both were also acting very strange upon arriving at home. I don't know what is going on here. It could be a coincidence. I'm not willing to take that chance with my babies again. read more

NOT A PLACE FOR LARGE BREEDS I took my two dogs here today and I am honestly appalled by how they run this. I took my boys here because their usual daycare is closed on sundays. I have a husky and a golden Retriver both around 1 years old. They are extremely active. On NO daycare days they require AT LEAST 3 to 4 hour of outside playtime at dog park or hike. Not including all the training, interactive puzzles we do on a daily basis to keep them stimulated. A half day here is 5 hours or less. They do an hour in yard then hour of independent play in separate room... that is the default. So I'm paying for 5 hours of play for maybe 3 hours. But I checked on camera every 30 minutes for the 4 hours they were there and never saw them... They explained the one hour on and one hour off is to make sure other dogs don't get overstimulated. Which I completely understand and respect. But I feel that it should be assessed which dogs need time away not forcing two very hyperactive dogs to stop playing because of that policy. I did mention this to staff they said they said they will put a note in their file to keep them in yard. Which I appreciate. But I honestly don't think I would go back. I think this is a place more for senior or small dogs to socialize. Not large breeds at all. The staff was friendly I just wish that wasn't the default policy. I work night shift and my boys NEED to be tired by the end of the day and I feel this is just not the place to accommodate that. read more

My doodle and border collie both go to Henderson Pet Resort for daycare. My border collie lodges on occasion and my doodle gets her monthly glow up here. My pups love HPR and each have their favorite people there. My doodle, Whiskey, is in love with her groomer, Diana...I mean full excitement kind of love. We did a tour to consider putting our pet there for a vacation and the facility was dirty all of the animals were just stuffed in darker little rooms and barking there was no interaction there were a lot of feces and spilt food around their areas of sleeping and there was no control. I would not recommend anybody wanting to put their little fur children in this facility. This felt more like a shelter that was uncured for. I've been going to Henderson pet resort for years. Recently I took my Poodle for a groom. The groomer shaved all his hair off. His head, his ears his tail looks like a rat tail. He looked like a new born puppy with no hair. I showed Diana the manager pictures of what he looked like when I picked him up. I also showed her pictures of how he normally looks after a groom, I come from a family of poodles and when I showed up to a family event, he was laughed at he looked so pathetic. My family said for me to call and report this to the manager. Diana offered me a token 20% off the next visit, and refused to take responsibility for the cut. One week later I received a video of a poodle with matted hair they claimed it was my dog. Why wouldn't they show me this video the same day I complained about the cut?? They had to find another Poodle to dupe me with. The dog they showed me had a black nose, and my dog has a brown nose. It was total deceit. I demanded they show the video and my message to the general manager. This general manager should be fired for how he treated me afterwards. The general manager said they did not want my business any longer and told me never to come back. Unfortunately Diana double down and said this is undoubtedly my dog. I never called for a firing of any individual in my life. But the general manager and Diana should both be fired. I've never had such terrible customer service from a company Ive been with for years treat me this way with this lies and deceit and not taking responsibility for their actions. When you go to Henderson pet resort, they're not cheap. I paid a premium price for a premium service and got so disrespected. I don't know how the boarding side of this facility is but parents be aware you're leaving your dogs with a company that blatantly lies. This place should go out of business. read more

Not only do they take amazing care of your pup, whether it is daycare or boarding, they have highly skilled trainers as well. Lynn noticed at drop off my dogs herding tendencies, and showed me a flirt stick that she would benefit from. I inquired into training, honestly, I have had well trained dogs all my life, but my girl Hope came to me at a time my own life was chaotic and I just did not even teach her the basics. She pulls on the leash to the point of pulling me off my feet and dragging me. I wish I was kidding. Lynn does not use force or harsh techniques. She had her for one day, and now she walks by my side. No pulling, no circling behind me. One day. She has several sessions still to come, but I am amazed. Take our dog here for day care and doggy primping from baths, trims. We live the socialization of dogs, the separate large and small dogs and have doggy cams to watch your puppy play and interact. I like that they check all dog's vaccinations to ensure they are up to date. Front desk ladies are friendly and know all dogs on a first name basis. I have been a customer here for nearly a year. A year ago after two weeks boarding I was informed my dog needed to be shaved due to matting. As a new and inexperienced dog owner I assumed I was negligent in combing and brushing and adjusted our care routing. Months went by without any matting issues. He was boarded three times with other places with no issues including with friends in their home. I decided to give henderson pet resort another try as they are close to home. After 12 days boarded I got a call that my dog was matted and despite brushing every day nothing could be done but shave all his beautiful hair again. Mind you this is only the second time in his life he's had matting this bad and both times we're here. Worse yet nobody mentioned a word about Amy issues until the day of pickup. No mention of suggesting additional grooming or anything at all. I now have to pay a groomer to shave him and start over again for 3+ Months for his hair to grow back. Worst yet I was charged for "brushing" when anyone with eyes can see he's been completely neglected. His hair is so bad it looks like he hasn't been touched. The argument I was given is that he's low to the ground so gets dirty more often. If that's the case do not board your small dog here if they have hair you care about. The only alternative explanation is he was neglected entirely. They don't provide update photos here either. It's disturbing to put your trust into a company to take care of your fur baby and get him back ragged and unkept. Especially after paying over $1,100 for boarding. I'm sad and dissapoimtef and angry at the lack of any accountability or proactive Communication. When you have an on site groomer how hard is it to mention "we're having trouble Maintaining his hair". Just awful read more

Edit to business response: SOME of my dog's items were returned the day after boarding ended. The manager did attempt to "make this right for me" by calling me a liar and other names while refusing to look at the invoices forwarded to her. My dog's post vet visit showed that she lost 7 pounds in the time that she was there which is not only concerning for her health but suspicious for how much food was gone from the brand new bag! But that she also got a UTI AND RINGWORM. NOT ONLY DID THEY TRY TO DEFRAUD ME BUT THEY MADE MY DOG VERY ILL. RUN FARRRRRRR! Terrible experience less than one star! Made a reservation 8/31 and was provided and estimate/ invoice for $265 I paid pending the total of the CHAUFFEUR service because they had to check for staffing availability. They confirmed availability before the first day of the reservation and specific instructions for her pick up were provided on 3 occasions. The day of her pick up the lady came and completely ignored the instructions ringing the doorbell and banging on the front door obnoxiously upsetting my dog. They proceeded to call and text me numerous times forcing me to purchase the airline WiFi to figure out the commotion, which was just in fact lack of common sense and comprehension skills. The lady that picked up my dog did not lock the door to the house and we had to have a neighbor come do it for us so the house did not get broken into because of her lack of respect and awareness. The day after her pick up I logged in to my account to check my balance since we had received the chauffeur services and the office requesting that it be paid with the card on file. They told me there was not a way to pay online and only with the card on file. To which I explained twice there was already a card on file and to charge it. Finally, the day of check out I call because my dog was supposed to be dropped off at 6pm and I have not heard from them, I checked my online account and notice I still have a $15 balance but was charged for both chauffeur services so I call and she says she will look and see where my dog is and at 6:23 says they are leaving now l again ask to pay my $15 balance as shown on my invoice. Suddenly she decides I owe $277! Before I hang up the phone a new invoice is emailed to me and of course she cannot delete the card on file to prevent fraudulent charges! This company sold me boarding services under false pretenses of it being one price and then changed it atter the services were provided and they have no desire or integrity to make it right. They cannot be trusted. We would have never gone here if we knew it would cost this much, my dog was not seen once on the cameras in the play yards and there are no cameras in the pets room as shown on their website. They finally dropped off my dog and tried to claim she did not have a leash and collar in the description when it literally has an AirTag attached to it and I can see its location that they are in possession of it. Finally, all my dog's belongings she was sent with are missing. Everything was placed in a Nike duffel bag and her toys, bones, blankets, etc. have all been kept by Henderson Pet Resort. Emily the GM called and tried to call me a liar about the situation saying she could not find any calls for my reservation instead of taking accountability for either a mistake made or being caught trying to steal and lie to customers! Her lack of professionalism is appalling and clear why situations like this happen if she is in charge of hiring, training and firing! read more

I would give a higher rating if the person at the front desk and the person who came to take our dog looked like they cared. I was the only person in the lobby so there was no reason for them to be pushy and hasty with handling my dog. The front desk person looked like they hate their job and didn't want to deal with asking or listening about our dogs care. Every time I had a question they made it feel like it was a nuisance. And the person who came to take our dog didn't even ask basic questions about how he is with other dogs or what might be his triggers. (My dog is a rescue) This is the only contact I get when coming to this place and it's concerning when the workers don't show any effort to make sure you feel that your dog will be well taken care of. I also want to note that they didn't even let my dog say hi to them so he freaked out when the person just went up to him trying to get a string-leash over his face. It's basic protocol to let the dog say hi to you and feel safe/comfortable first instead of just jumping in to leash him and drag him to the back. read more

Skip for main review: This review is for boarding. I have an Alaskan Malamute Koda who is almost 1.5 years old. I was super worried about boarding her and toured 2 places before. The first place I went to I liked but when I did a trial run they said Koda tried to attack another dog the first minute they did group play. So I toured another place that only let the dogs out every third day for 20 minutes and knew there was no way I'd go there. I looked up more places and found Henderson Pet Resort. I was a little hesitant because of pricing but honestly it was so worth it. Now the actually review: When we walked in, super clean front desk area. The front desk girl (I think her name was Danielle or Daniela? Anyways she was quick to greet us and we asked for a tour. They have different size private rooms, we went with standard. A lot of different package options you can add if you want. We did deluxe. They take the dogs out 2-3 times a day, indoor and outdoor play and it's way longer than 20 min. Here's why I'm leaving the review. I was worried about the place that said Koda tried to attack another dog (mostly because she's been to the dog park so many times and get along with every dog so I was confused) but Henderson Pet Resort said they'd assess her behavior. So if you aren't sure how your dog will do, give it a try with their staff. I'd leave 100 stars for this: Koda developed hair loss on tips of her ears from scratching this summer (if your dog isn't exercised enough this can happen). We take her to the dog park on weekends but it's hard during the work week and summer to get her enough play time. We picked her up after 8.5 days and when I got home I noticed her ears had all the hair grow back (that's how I'm sure she got plenty of play time!!! I also got to see her play live (I always emailed asking when Koda would be playing, thank you to everyone who emailed me with the times! She always seemed happy and I saw the staff cleaning the play areas. If the price scares you, I get it. But honestly it's so worth the peace of mind. They are so organized and you'll know your baby is in good hands. read more

My pup stayed Saturday & Sunday for boarding here. On sunday, he was picked up with excessive eye discharge. They failed to notice or acknowledge all of this on his eye, if they are properly watching and caring for him, theres no way they could have missed this all over his eyes. You guys grabbed enzo, leashed him & brought him out to who was picking him up and failed to notice the insane amount of white eye discharge?It makes me feel as if he wasnt properly taken cared for. I reached out to them expressing my concerns and also mentioned how thirsty he was and the copious amount of water he was drinking when he arrived home however, they completely ignored my message about his eye and went straight to explaining the water situation. I felt as if they were avoiding my concerns with his eye. He also came home with extremely itchy paws, hes biting and chomping on his paws like hes never done before. What really makes me write this review is the fact they forgot to feed my pup his sunday dinner. I specifically asked the staff has enzo ate dinner so he could be picked up afterwards, they responded with yes he has had dinner. I come home to see his sunday dinner bag FULL, so NO they did not feed him dinner and LIED about it. The manager reached out to me and expressed her sincere apologies as well as a refund but an apology is not enough and its not about the money so the refund is also just not enough. nothing is enough to make up for the fact you guys failed to feed him dinner & LIED about it. I watched the cameras ALL day - enzo was playing in the yard about 4-6 hours total that day, he NEEDED that dinner more than ever with that amount of play time. The failure to feed him only makes me wonder what else they failed to do. Theres endless red flags here and i suggest everyone reading this take their pup somewhere else, its disheartening to know my pup wasnt properly cared for or looked after especially after explaining to them my worries as a first time dog mom. it seems like they only care to have as many pups possible in their establishments. I really wanted to like this place, I expected you guys to take care of enzo as if he was your own. It is actually not odd for a young kitty to be shy after we just dropped him off in a strange place that he's never been, away from us who he is extremely attached to. Kobe was a rescue kitten and had separation anxiety. So please don't speak like you are a cat expert. Unfortunately, you are not. For anyone who has cats and looking into boarding or trying to decide what to do during travels, we have been just having a sitter come to our house for drop in visits or even over night stays. It is the best... they are home in their comfort zone. Cats are okay on their own, especially if theres multiple cats. Automatic feeders work great... You can also get pet cameras (pretty cheap on amazon) to check up on them and see what they're up to. We've been doing this for years now and we always come home to a happy kitty. All they really need is their food, water, toys, and to be in their home rather than a strange place. read more

This was our first time Boarding Our Doodle Waylon at this resort . We live in OC & visit friends in Henderson often so we wanted to try somewhere closer to where we stay who's is GVR. I am giving them 5 stars for their customer service, communication and location which was 5 minutes from GVR. They greeted Waylon by his. And and with a smile , he was really excited to play which was nice . They have a webcam you view as well . They do require a temperament test which is about an hour I believe. This was not really possible for us as we come in from OC & GVR is not pet friendly sadly so let us board him for 2 nights and temperament test was done when we dropped him off which was perfect! We knew he'd pass , he's the best doodle :) We picked him up after 2 days, he seemed to have fun playing with some new friends as he's exhausted now . I wish I could have seen behind closed doors to personally see where he would sleep, what the play yards look like and how the sleeping quarters looked but I went off of their website. I cannot speak highly enough about this place. My dog, Mila, goes here and she loves it. She's normally a nervous Nelly when I leave but she trots in there easily and happily. The team that works here is always spectacular. I get photos and a "report card" after her boarding stays and I get access to watch the cameras so I know she's having the best time. I was super nervous about finding a good doggy day care/boarding place when I moved here but this is by far the best. They really care about your pet and I completely trust them with Mila and that's saying a lot. She's always tired after her stay so I know she's been having lots of fun. I went here for the first time for grooming. I just needed my dogs face to be touched up and they did it for $30. Great deal and she looks good. The only negative was, the groomer didn't know I was coming in just for a face touch up. She thought I was doing a full groom. I don't know if they keep notes or memos on what the dog is scheduled for but she was not aware. I was too early to take the tour, for the play area so maybe next time. I might sign up my baby for daycare. They're usually pretty booked up so just be aware you might not get in if they're full. read more

My husky stayed one night since we were in town visiting family. I felt that I would have had a better piece of mind if the different stay packages were explained to me better. We did not know the most basic package did not come with a camera and I would have upgraded to the one that did. Hello. I wanted to share our experience with this facility. We had been in contact with them for over two months. Our senior pitbull has a urinary disability. We were told countless times to bring a vet note that stated Curtis was healthy and needs secretion only. We have a wedding Saturday and decided to trust Henderson Pet resort for boarding. As an anxious dog mom, and bride, I contacted the facility multiple times and I was told that it wouldn't be a problem. During our call we were also told we could tour the rooms and decide if we needed two rooms for both of our dogs or just one. We booked the reservation about 2 months prior. The day of our trip, the manager stated she didn't have rooms available. I then stated we had a reservation made. She wasn't in a pleasant mood. I then told her I wanted to tour the room and she said no. I then said I needed to show them how to care for our disabled dog and she said that they can't accept him there regardless of the vet note. In a panic I then stated I have called multiple times to avoid this. She then asked me to state who I spoke with and the exact time as she needs to pull footage. A JOKE of a manager. She was not helpful, the staff was more helpful than her, 3 days before our wedding. Shame on you and you need to communicate better with your customers. Also work on your customer service as your ugly attitude was not needed. Very disappointing and stressful experience. But after reading the reviews where dogs have been dying, it's probably for the best. read more

Just a month ago, when my 7-month old Golden Retriever came to HPR, he was a hyper guy whose leash manners consisted of dragging me around and embarrassing me throughout town. Within just two weeks of the day camp and training, my pup was a completely different dog on walks! Daily report cards let me know what he was doing throughout the day and video reviews let me know what was worked on. I received a phone call from the trainers every single day to let me know how he did and what he found challenging. When I had concerns about how he handled meeting some small children, Nathan brought in his own son to desensitize my pup to the chaos of kids. OUR DOG WAS ATTACKED AT HENDERSON PET RESORT - We took Daisy, our 27lb, 11 year old Terrier Mix female to the Henderson Pet Resort. We wanted her to work with their trainer to help her get over the recent loss of her "sister". She is only with us in the house or car. Never around other animals, left outside or even taken to community dog parks. She is a house dog. We engaged the Resort in a 30-day training and daycare program at a cost of over $1,000 for that program and their care for our dog. They assured us our dog would ALWAYS be under the watchful eye and in the care of their trainer or the Resort staff during play times with other dogs. We looked in on her during the play times via the Resort's cameras. Despite our voiced concerns over her size, she was placed in with comparatively large dogs at play time (GSD, Husky, etc.). While with the other dogs she simply stood alone the entire time. She never engaged with other dogs. Not an issue but that information goes to the real issue. One of the days she came home limping with her paw in the air. For 3 days she could place no weight on the paw. When we asked what happened at the Pet Resort we were told -"There was nothing reported. We checked with the staff and there was nothing to report". They did not notice a limping dog with all the "Always watchful" care they provided. When her paw recovered, we took her back to complete the training package. At some point that day she was attacked. The photos show the bite wounds on her neck, CONFIRMED by a reputable Vet hospital to be a bite wound. The resort never said a word about it. We discovered the wound and took her to the vet incurring significant costs. See the attached photos. She has multiple puncture wounds on her neck, caused by a much larger dog, that had to be treated, will likely require surgical debridement, caused her to require pain medication and multiple antibiotics. This wound did not happen in a vacuum. It happened under the "Always Watchful" eyes of the staff. She would have screamed at being bitten. There would most certainly have been a ruckus. Yet the Resort remained unaware of her injury. The Resort took no action. WE told THEM about the injury. It was oozing from the punctures and bleeding. Their trainer called us at the end of a training session to say he cleaned the area and suggested we "place a cone on her to keep her from scratching at it". When we asked them what happened, yet again, we were told - "There was nothing reported. We checked with the staff and there was nothing to report". Leslie, the owner was genuinely concerned and very solicitous. We understand it's her business and she was seriously interested in finding out how it happened. She told us she interviewed her entire staff and they all reported nothing of note happening. Leslie also told me she reviewed the entire video of the play yard for the whole day and saw nothing of note. Daisy was always in the play yard with other dogs unless she was in a room with other dogs and the trainer that is not under video coverage. That is the only time Daisy was near another animal. Those are the only times she could have been bitten. Again, she is simply not around other animals outside of the Henderson Resort. Daisy, our dog, is a cry baby that screams per-emptively. If she steps on a sticker she wails. There is no circumstance this attack should have gone unnoticed or unreported. Consequently, The Henderson Pet Resort is either incompetent, staffed by incompetents, staffed by liars, or are willfully misrepresenting their services and the care they provide to our pets. There can be no other explanation. There is no circumstance this attack should have gone unnoticed or unreported. Henderson Pet Resort's inability to explain how, when, why or by whom our dog was severely bitten indicts them as a dangerous facility for your pet, despite the owner's good intentions. We understand that the Resort is not responsible for the conduct of the dogs they are paid to watch, and we place no blame on them for the bite wound. However, they ARE responsible to WATCH them, CARE for them, REPORT on any incidents. They should have known which dog bit ours and made a report. They should have immediately cared for our wounded dog. I assure you if one of their staff were bitten by my dog, we would have heard about it immediately. Instead, they are satisfied that the attack remain a mystery. We wish them to be successful. Nevertheless, our dog had no bite when she arrived and had a bite wound when she left. There is only 1 possibility how it happened. Our experience tells you that you place your pet at risk utilizing their services. read more

Henderson Pet Resort is the reason I'm able to work a challenging job that I love and always know that my pet is safe and happy with great people. I rely on them for everything from daycare to boarding to training and grooming and I recommend HPR to everyone I know. About seven years ago now I was "browsing" a local shelter and I instantly fell for a little terrier mix. I went home that night trying to figure out if I could make it work with a doggie daycare or dog walker to have a pet but also have the flexibility to work some late nights and early mornings. HPR had recently opened at that time and was the only daycare offering 6a drop-offs and 7p pick-ups. I met the then-owner Leslea on my first visit and every staff member she has hired has treated me and my pup like founding members. I have to specifically recognize Kirsten at the front desk who treats my fur baby like her own, all of the counselors who play with and care for him throughout the day, and everyone on the late shift who is there with a smile when I pick him up at night. Also you get individual daily report cards with pictures and I don't know how they have time to do them every day, but thank you to whoever makes those. If there is any downside its only the cost -- HPR is expensive -- but when you compare to any other option the prices are in the middle and the service is at the top. You could probably find gig workers on an app or a chain pet store with options that would be cheaper. You can certainly find other boutique places that are more expensive. But I have never seen any local business with as many consistently great people on hand. I trust HPR completely and don't know what I would do without them. If you're able to get a booking with them, you should absolutely book with them, too! read more

This place is AWFUL! Would give them no stars if I could. We brought our healthy boxer for an extended stay, 11 days total, back in June. We picked up a very sick and neglected animal. We saw how thin she was and asked if she had been eating and they swore she was eating fine. When we asked how much anxiety medication she had been given they said none that she didn't need it. Now we know the staff was completely lying to us. When we took her to the vet she had lost 12 pounds, had blood tests done which found nothing and is still on medication. Henderson charged us 650.00 for her boarding and we got another over 500.00 vet bill. I provided all her medical records directly from the vet including her extreme weight loss. Henderson Pet Resort refuses to accept any responsibility for my dogs near death experience and neglect. DO NOT USE THIS KENNEL!!!!! read more

It takes a little to trust people with your fur babies and I absolutely trust everyone at HPR. My baby Liberty LOVES them! There is no place she would rather be and that includes home.. She participates in doggy day care and overnight stays. They love my girl as much as I do! read more

The staff is competent and nice. Also helpful. They have a running video feed that's current. You'll see your pup outside running around with other dogs and getting along well. There's also a human keeping watch. It's got a covered awning too. There's about six frames and you're able to see your pet if they're lodged there. The main groomer, Tammy, is so professional and an amazing groomer, haircutter and all around caring person. My dogs get excited to go there. I've never had to remotely, drag them in for their hair cuts. That's because Tammy is careful and thorough with them but treats them like she knows them and likes them. People tell us they look like show dogs! They're our friends and loves of our lives and are gorgeous girls-labradoodles. So, Tammy's terrific at large breeds as well as small dogs! We are grateful for her and just love her work! A gem at Henderson Pet Resort, for sure! read more

I found this place on yelp and it looked like a place I would take my dog. So after doing my research I felt even better about leaving my dog there for the weekend. Yes, they may be more expensive than other places but I think the value is there. I called and spoke to them on the phone. The person I spoke to was very nice and answered all my questions. I had trouble with making my account online and they were also able to help me with that over the phone. They let me know all the things that I would need prior to bringing my dog there ( like shot records including flu shots). It's nice to know that my dog is with a group of dogs that are immunized just like her. Since my dog had never played with other dogs they said that they would keep an eye on her to make sure she is adjusting well with other dogs. On the day we dropped her off, we brought her food for the employees to feed her. We said our goodbyes and they took her in the back. My kids were sad to see their dog go but we're excited to see her on the camera later that day. That is one of the best things about this place. You can check the camera to see if your dog is out and about playing with others. It was cool to see her on the video since the kids were missing their dog. When we picked up our dog she seemed very happy and was excited to see us. Getting our dog was quick and easy. It is nice to have such a reliable place to bring your furry loved one. My only wish is that they had a camera in the dogs individual kennel so we could see the dog 24 hours a day. That would be awesome. Thanks Henderson Pet Resort. We will be back soon. read more
