Every time I come here I'm always satisfied. The lady here is very sweet and my dogs have separation anxiety but she always tries to be nice to calm them down. They always do great with the haircuts. I have an Aussie with Addison's disease so he loses hair 10x more than a normal dog. I try to keep him short to prevent my couch being covered in dog hair. Screw all the 1 star reviews. They're all Karen golden doodle dog owners. Your dog is overrated Karen. read more

I was desperate to find a dog groomer, I had called and was told that there were no openings. Not even 10 min later after I hung up they call and told me someone had cancelled and where more then happy to take my 100 lb German shepherd baby that was shedding hair like crazy, my fur baby was a fluff ball. The staff is super kind and sweet and they're bilingual. (Spanish. )! My baby came out smelling sooo good, they did an amazing job de shedding her, they cut her nails and her coat was so shiny and smooth. She came out looking skinny from the good job they did from taking all that old undercoat. Marcela was the groomer and she did a fantastic job. She truly has a gift when it comes to handling animals. My german shepherd needs a min to warm up to people but she really liked Marcela right away. Also Marcela added a cute bandanna to finish my fur baby's look. I am just in love with this place. I am not going anywhere else, I am staying right here.Highly recommend. Thank you Marcela you did amazing read more

Took our bulldog there today for nail trim, she is usually very nervous and looses her bowls etc, but she was very comfortable here, sweet loving energy towards her and she did great, this is our spot. read more

She does not know how to cut Golden Doodles. Do not take them to her. I gave her 2 chances and both times my dog came back shaved all the way when I specifically told her she needs to have long curly hair. She also does not know how to groom the face properly. read more

Took my pupper to Come & Pet it yesterday and I was/am SO VERY IMPRESSED! I will most definitely be going back there! My little dog is sometimes scared of people and usually barks & growls at them. But he didn't do that when I dropped him off! Marcela greeted us and took my baby and while he reluctantly went with her - he went and with no barking or growling. I asked for them to bathe, cut hair, brush, nails clipped & filed. I feel the price was very fair. But the work was extraordinary! My pupper was smiling the whole way home! I have taken him to places like Petsmart in the past looking for the result I received yesterday but was always disappointed in how they did or didn't do some things. But just to reiterate; My dog, myself & fiance will absolutely be regular customers! Thank you so much!!!!!!!!! read more

Took our dog who get groomed and cleaned here for the first time today and had a HORRIBLE experience. They shaved our golden doodle completely despite asking not to. He was crying when we picked him up and scared for hours upon getting home. They claimed he was "too matted" to brush and wash yet he gets groomed every two weeks as mentioned earlier. Please do not take your dogs here, our dog was visibly upset and they did an awful awful job. Their customer service regarding the situation was also awful and they charge a large amount to come to pick up a shaved golden doodle. read more

We have been taking our sweet little Dolly Jeane here for a couple of years now. Marcela is the owner and she is so sweet and attentive. She never lets me down. Dolly adores her and comes home happy and always perfectly groomed. They do such a great job cleaning her ears and attending to any details that I might ask. Pretty much she always knows what I want. I love supporting the locals. She has dog food, collars leashes toys etc. Her shop is very clean and and organized. If you don't have a groomer that you love, I would suggest checking her out. read more

Let me fist start off with saying the lady that runs this place is very nice. This is why I trusted her with my two pups. Altho being nice doesn't cut it. I had an 11:00 appointment for my mini poodle and Shih Tzu mix. At 3:30 when I came to pick them up, they weren't finished. They were bathed and half cut but not groomed. They looked like mop heads with an uneven trim. The way the entrance is set up my pups could see me standing there so they cried and barked. I took them without being finished. I refused. Time is very important to myself and to them as they were stuck in crates for 4.5 hours. I'm very unhappy and uncomfortable with my experience. Maybe she needs more staff. But this is extremely unacceptable. I will not be going back and will need to find a new groomer. They look horrible and are miserable . Please do not respond to my review. Unless it's with an apology. Thanks! read more

So glad this place is open because my poor dog needed a bath. After going to several self wash dog places I have an idea of what I like and things they offer. That being said, I think I like this place the best so far. I like how clean this business is. I also like the variety of brushes they give you and they look clean and well taken care of. They weren't full of hair and disgusting looking. I also like the controls for the water. You can easily regulate the water temp and with a separate valve you can adjust the water pressure. They give you soap and conditioner which smell nice. The employee also went over the equipment with me and showed me how to operate it. He even put the collar on my pup with the short leash so she couldn't run away. The blow dryer worked very well and quickly dried my dog. It cost $15 to wash my dog here. I wish it was $10 which is what I pay at a different place. read more

I really love this shop. The people that run the shop are always so welcoming and nice. I walked in yesterday and they stopped grooming to clip my dog's nails. I let them get way too long and now she is so happy to have them clipped FINALLY. My dog hates having her paws touched so I have to hold her to get them clipped and they are so accommodating. I highly recommend this amazing place. read more

took my dog here, they do GREAT work in great time & they're always polite & gentle with even the most unruly dogs-I know because I've seen some of the other dogs that go there & not all dogs are easy to work on. We adopted Topaz in December and needed to be able to take her somewhere for regular baths. Appointments are available but not super necessary! This place also offers food, treats, and toys for cats and dogs - as well as drop off grooming options. We opted to come in and use their tubs and supplies and bathe Topaz ourselves. The owner is friendly and very knowledgeable - we weren't "dog people" before adopting her, but the owner was able to answer questions and offer helpful suggestions throughout the process. It's not expensive! We go about once a month and last month the owner helped us out by also clipping Topaz's nails! Everyone & their furry family members that we've interacted with while we've been going have seemed equally appreciative of the options and services available at Come & Pet It. We're looking forward to taking Topaz for her April bath later today. We'd recommend this small business to anyone. :) read more

My wife and I are so happy that we found this place. The lady (Marcela) always greets us so pleasantly and is very easy to work with. Our Maltese "Buddy" is a rescue and always growls when anyone tries to pick him up. Even me! Marcela says he will be alright and when she comes over she talks to him and he just goes to her with no problem. Our Shitzu Yorkie mix "Acacia" is Buddy's best friend. We rescued her also. Acacia used to have to be muzzled with her former owner and they would charge extra for her grooming. Now that Acacia and Buddy are together, she won't take a step until she sees Buddy is coming. Our dogs love the place so much they look like they don't even want to come home. They love it there. We are so glad we found "Come and pet it." We will never go to another groomer as long as Marcela and her staff are here in Henderson. 5 stars plus!! read more

We used to go to PetSmart to wash and furminator our Siberian Husky Cody. Until the last time, he was traumatized for 3 days from Petsmart. We found Marcela at Come & Pet It and decided to try her out. Cody does not like any part of bathing, the furminator or drying his hair. But Marcela found a way to get him through it. She tried different ways such as taking breaks, or holding his paw. She worked so hard at keeping Cody comfortable during the process, I was amazed. There is no other pet groomer that would have gone to the extent that Marcela did with Cody. Her level of care made this experience for Cody so unique. I have to say, especially with a Husky who has 2 thick coats, that Marcela has been the best pet groomer we have ever used. I definitely recommend Come & Pet It for the best groomer for anyone! We will definitely bring Cody to Marcela. She is so kind and gentle. Thank you Marcela. read more

This place is amazing!! I will never go anywhere else! Prices are reasonable and they really have loving hearts. I was on vacation for 3 weeks and my dogs hair was matted to the skin all over his body. I felt like a bad dog mom not being able to tend to my baby while I was out of town for the holidays. I called them at 10am on Sunday and they couldn't take him. I was panicking trying to find help for my dog. I received a call back from them and they said someone cancelled can you bring him in at 12pm. I jumped for joy and rushed to get ready to take Oreo to the groomer. Once I arrived to the location they instantly said no we cannot do it, he is to matted and it'll take a long time. I said please help me, if I leave it's going to get worse. I begged and said I'll pay extra , whatever it takes please. So the lady spoke with Steve and they attempted to shave him down with the clippers. She came back and told me they'll do it and help me out. I wanted to cry. When I picked Oreo up he looked like a brand new dog. Steve did an outstanding job. God Bless him for having a great heart and fantastic dog grooming skills!! read more

Great experience! I was a walk-in and she took great care of my dog while he was there. The dogs that were coming out from the back grooming area all seemed very happy! She quoted me just over 3 hours and hit the mark. I was charged extra because my dog's hair was matted from growing so long. She washed him, brushed his teeth, cleaned his ears, and cut his hair and even put a little blue bandanna around his neck when he was done. I would highly recommend bringing your dog here for grooming. There also looked like there were self wash stations in the back if you wanted to self wash your dog. I will be returning in the future! read more

The service I received was very poor. Way overpriced. Marcela did not clip my dogs nails, or express anal glands or any of the promised additions of a grooming package, but yet she charged me $68 when I quoted $55. I won't be back. Businesses that gouge first time customers forget that a one time payment isn't better than repeat business. BTW my dog weighs 7 pounds. Not all impressed. read more

Marcela and her staff are absolutely amazing! Both of my dogs are afraid of the groomer, but Marcela and her staff are so good with them and they actually groom, trim nails and express the anal glands (unlike many other groomers who just charge for those services, but don't really do much). When my dogs come out of Come and Pet It, you can actually tell their nails are trimmed and that they've been groomed. We also take our cat here and again, wonderful job done by Come and Pet It! Called in the morning to see about getting an appointment to have my baby groomed. Got an appointment for later that afternoon. I like that they have a littler store as well. Filled out the online system so that I could schedule future appointments online. They took care of both our dogs. One needed a nail trim the other was a full groom. I also liked that they had fur length swatches so they could be very clear on how I wanted my dog groomed. Pricing was very fair. I expect to pay between $45-60 for my terrier. They called a few hours later and I could tell my baby was well taken care of. I even got a welcome email and thank you for letting them do the service which I thought was a nice touch. I feel I will take my dogs back to this location. read more
