Have used them for dog washes, buy my pet's food and treats from them fairly regularly as they carry a brand I'm unable to find elsewhere for a sensitive stomach. The staff is helpful in finding just the right food and treats for your pet. I appreciate the opportunity to earn a free bag of pet food with your pet food purchases. I've received cash off of purchases as well. Some items may be pricier than other pet stores, but the convenience of it being easily accessible for our Southern Highlands neighborhood, the friendly staff and the huge assortment of food, toys, treats, bones, etc. is worth every penny. So this place has it all! You can buy food accessories, snacks everything you could think for your animals. On top of that they have a private shower, so you can shower your dogs. That's why I come here I have three dogs and it's difficult to shower them from home so I just pay to come and shower them here. I was in the area after picking up my dog from his grandma's house (lol)- He needed bath so decided to go here to utilize their self serve wash. I didn't fancy the bath area of this establishment. Tub wasn't rinsed out, hair all over the room. Not enough towels. Shampoo/deodorizer was a container full of what seemed like watered down solution. Tub was huge (great for big dogs) but not set up well for small dogs, even with the riser. Just a big mess- I disliked it and my dog did too lol. Just different from others I've been to around town. I love this pet store, they have a great selection of good brands and better food for your pets. I have never utilize their grooming services but I can tell it's always busy. My only complaint, which was past due to comment about it, is their customer service. When I buy 3 large bags of dog food, I mean, how can you carry all them together. A hand will be appreciated unless..... YOU HAVE A COUPLE OF SHOPPING CARTS WE CAN USE to bring the bags into our cars!!!! I think that will give a solution to the couple of guys at the counter asking if "you need help". I said "sure, if you can" but I never saw him moving. Used to go here every-time for their self wash. They recently hired multiple employees that makes our visits much less enjoyable than they used to be. Not sure why I received such attitude and negative energy whenever I come in now. We kept coming back because of how well the soft spoken male employee treated us and our dogs so nicely. We will no longer come back because of how we have been treated the last few visits. We recently got a new addition to our family; and this was his first haircut. This was our first visit here and were super nervous. After reading the reviews I had mixed feelings about coming in, however having open communication with our groomer Rebecca our worries were immediately put at ease. A lot of dissatisfaction can be avoided with clear communication. When we were called back to pick our pup up we were brought to tears on how amazing he looked. Rebecca was amazing, kind, and patient! She was truly a gem! She was so loving and had to even give him extra baths due to him being so nervous and peeing on himself. I was surprised to find the Stephanie location closed on Yelp! So thanks for the posted update about that location! I love the self-grooming rooms at Bogart. To be able to go into a private room with a huge tub and your big dog is less stressful for me and for her! She can't hear a lot of dogs barking all over the place, and it reduces her anxiety. Bogart's supply shampoo and conditioner, a couple of towels a grooming brush, and a professional blow dryer system. I usually pack my own grooming tools and a medicated shampoo for my dog. I appreciate the vinyl apron they give you, which helps keep all of the water from soaking your clothes. I have a lab that loves to play in the pool, but hates to take a bath, go figure! I was able to coax her into the tub and then there is a harness that connects to the front wall so that you put it around the dog's neck and they can't run away. The hose has warm water in it and good pressure, and the drain collects a lot of hair. Took me a total of 25 minutes tops to groom my dog. This is the only place I have found where I like bathing my dog. There are toys, cookies, & treats galore in this store! You have to pick up something for good a good dog at bath time! I have taken our golden doodle to several groomers and they've all just ruined her appearance. This store is right around the corner from me, so I tried it and was so happy with my groomer Roman. I showed him a picture of what I wanted Sadie to look like and I did not recognize her when he brought her out. She looked exactly like the picture. I've been coming here for grooming for the last few times and after this last grooming I will definitely not be back. I had my appt and I asked the lady to see if she can trim his upper area underneath cuz my dog will sometime pee on himself. I get my dog back after the grooming and so messed up his corgi butt literally just took the clippers and shaved a line from the butt down. And then i look underneath and she just shaved him to almost the skin all the way up. My dog is a corgi so he normally just gets the usual trim on the butt and underneath and this was pretty bad, and then she never even shaved the bottom of my dogs pads, they are all still overgrown. Decided to try out Bone Appetit to get my fur baby groomed, Ive heard many good things about this place! My family gets their dogs groomed here so I wanted to try as well. First visit I inquired about pricing, they gave me a rundown and also gave me a card to fill out prior to grooming. I also shopped around to see what brands they carry -- come to find out they carry my fav brand of dog food! (I usually order on amazon but am so happy to find out it's available down the street from my house! They have a wife variety of different brands and a huge selection of dry treats that my dog went crazy for. My 3 y/o cockapoo got groomed there today, and Alvin (i hope i spelled that right) did SUCH an amazing job, my dog can be a little difficult when it comes to strangers and grooming but she looked the best she has ever looked post groom!!! Completely unhelpful customer service. Purchased some Dr. Marty's product that gave my dog diarrhea. I unfortunately bought two bags and tried to return the unopened bag. The guy at the counter refused to take it back even though you could see the POS in the system. He said they have a 14 day return policy. When I explained it took a month for me to figure out what was causing the diarrhea, he just looked at me with a blank stare completely in equipped to think about how to help. I told him I'm not interested in getting money back, I would gladly accept a credit or exchange. Again, sorry can't help you. I simply smiled and said thanks for heads up....I knew there was a reason I also shop at Dog Supplies outlet and he just reminded me why. Hello Rachel, After reading your updated review I do want to clarify that under absolutely no circumstances have I ever brought Euro in under false pretenses. If your employees made a mistake, that's one thing but please have some decency. Over 5 years I've said I didn't like maybe 4 groomers? I do not think that constitutes to me disliking the service every single time. To state that I am "always"unsatisfied would also be false. I have also preferred groomers on my file that you guys can't keep because of the poor work environment. I kept bringing Euro back because he is a hyperactive dog and he likes a schedule and familiarity. I am 100% allowed to drop my dog off at home and as you can see I did discover the point of injury. This is the one time something of this level of negligence happened and I am still upset with the lack of care given to the situation. For you to try to say I tried to call under a different name is insane because you would still have to call the same number I've had for 5 years for me to pick him up. I have a Toy Aussie/ Sheltie mix. I specifically said, DO NOT SHAVE MY DOG. I was told 2 hrs. She said she understood it would take extra time. 2 hrs was not a problem. Her estimation, not mine. I was surprised when 45 min later, he was done. Then again, it doesn't take a lot of time to run a clipper over a 20 lb dog. Worse yet, he is uneven, with big lumps of fur where they didn't hold the razer properly. At pick-up, the groomer could barely contain the giggling. I was so angry I walked out without making a scene. I should have stayed there and yelled at all of them, mostly for thinking it funny to take a dog with 4-inch wavy fur and cut it down to less than an inch. I should have made a scene, but I didn't. I've been buying Taste of the Wild dry dog food from there for over seven years. I always get the largest size bag that lasts for about 2 months. When I went to refill the dog food bin, the food was moldy. I've never had that issue before. When I went to the store to inform them of the issue I had to return three times before I was able to speak with the Manager Liz. Liz is beyond rude! The first thing she says is if it's been more than 10 days there are no refunds and no exceptions. I told her that I did not notice the mold until I was halfway through the 28 lb bag of food which is long after 10 days. She told me that I should have checked for mold when the bag was first opened and that there's no way for the store to know if the mold was caused by the way that food was stored. I told her that the half of bag of food was stored in its original bag with a clip closing it which is the way that I've been storing the food for years. I also told her that I didn't expect a full refund for the $64 bag of food. I asked if other customers reported a mold issue with this brand. She said that I was the only one reporting an issue and that I should call the manufacturer if I want a refund. Then she says next time buy a smaller bag. What she should have done was offer a "smaller bag" to replace the moldy food. Liz and her employees can use some customer service training. Based on the comments to my post on NextDoor, poor customer service is at this location is not uncommon. read more

I don't usually write reviews but I felt I had to. Very disappointed with Bogart's. Been pretty loyal for years now. I purchased a few flavors of canned dog food this past Thursday (I usually purchase 2-3 cans of a few flavors at a time totaling to 6-12 cans), my dog didn't like a new one got so today (Saturday) I tried to make an exchange of 1 unopened can of the one he didn't like since I already opened the other; for one of similar price. When I purchased my products I was asked if I wanted a receipt, I declined because I didn't want to waste paper knowing the purchase was going to be on my account. When I attempted to make the exchange the employee pointed to a sign that says that you need a receipt for all returns/exchanges...the sign is where you put your products on during checkout. So 1, it's hard to read that when there's product on top of it (plus customersare usually eyeing other smaller items they can purchase around checkout). And 2, the cashier should be educating your customers who say they don't want a receipt that they can't return or exchange anything without one. So that seemed a bit predatory on the location of the signage and not informing your customer of the policy. Better yet don't ask and just print one for everyone. I've only ever returned 1 (one) item to this store a few years back and I forgot to bring my receipt at that time but they had my purchase on my account and they honored it which is why I thought it would be okay to decline the receipt. I asked the employee today about the purchase being on my account and he did confirm it being on there but that they would still need a receipt. So if you're a long time customer of this local pet store just know you will need a receipt even though your purchase is on your account. So get that thermal paper rolling. read more

First I would like to start by saying we come here often to get treats and toys for our dogs. I would also like to mention I have been in customer service for most of my life. This evening we came in to get treats and because we are familiar, we asked for three of one certain treat and asked for the thicker ones that were three up in a row, the cashier proceeds to tell us he doesn't have to address request like that for those certain treats and gave us three in a different direction, I am mentioning this because it's not like we were asking for anything too "crazy" and if we were, we are customers and are paying for high priced treats and service. I've been coming here for years and noticed recently that the store which was always great was really stepping up lately. The peanut butter bones from the bakery are my pups favorite and they were wrapped nicely with a cute sticker. They have some really nice dog items, well stocked and both varieties of Taste of the Wild that I buy. The prices continue to be great. I also love that they carry the large bottles of Naturvet Yard Odor Spray, a must in our heat! I have not used the grooming here but may consider it soon. read more

We tried to take our puppy here multiple times for grooming. He is double coated. The first time we got him back he was so clean, so dry, and no flyaway hair. That was the only good experience. After that it was so inconsistent. We would get him back and there was flyaway hair all over the place. He was still wet. And we could never keep the same groomer because everyone keeps leaving. We got a call 2 days ago that he apparently had an appointment we never made. My husband expressed the above sentiment and they asked us to give them one last shot. That they would really put in the effort. So we did. We gave them one last shot. Puppy came home with flyaways galore. It's all over our clothes and couch worse than before we took him there. This was the last time and it honestly so disappointing. Not sure what the deal is but if they kept groomers long term maybe it would be different. read more

After hitting up breakfast at Mama Bird, we decided to head into this dog store since we love our dog wayyy too much and love to spoil her rotten. We stepped inside and this place is pretty decently sized! There's a lot of asiled of dog food, toys and whatnot. There's even a groomer inside and self-service dog wash if you want, which is pretty cool. We roamed around for about 10-15 minutes and had a staff member ask if we needed help with anything but we just wanted to peruse. We eventually founds some dog treats we thought our doggie might like and then a bone. They definitely have a lot of things to select from, even wet dog and cat food in the very back in a fridge. It's not really that close to us, but if you're looking for a place to purchase some better quality dog or cat food, I would definitely recommend checking this spot out. read more

I honestly wanted to give one star but I always have had such great help when I buy dog food and treats so I had to give two (specifically Morgan he's really helpful and knowledgeable). Where do I begin... I called a week ahead. I explained exactly how my puppy looked 38 pounds, dad is a full sized poodle/mom is a small terrier and asked how much for a groom. The person on the phone says $60-$70. And that high end would be $70. I say great and book the appointment. I'm met with a lady who I explain exactly to how I want her groomed. Listen I've been grooming her myself (I'm a hairstylist so I know my way around a haircut but I know I'm not a groomer so I wanted to get her a real haircut). It takes a little over an hour and I pick her up. As I check out the lady says "ok $90" I was floored and she brings out the "grooming manager" this lady proceeds to tell me my puppy is the size of a labradoodle. Which is insane this is a 38 pound puppy I brought in. No matter how many ways I explained this and that I was quoted $60-70 that didn't matter. So I paid and let it be. The more I think about it I had to write this because I felt scammed and I wanted to make people aware. This is a place I have bought all my expensive dog food and dog treats from exclusively from weekly for the 7 months I've had my puppy. I go no where else and frankly I'll never go here again. Not only was it $90. Her legs weren't even touched. Or her ears. Not a great job and not the price I was quoted. Super bummed. read more

As you can see our little dog looks amazing with very reasonably priced grooming too. This great cut was done in two hours. Scheduled my appointment a week prior. Over the phone, she scheduled me for 8am, we showed up at 7:45am to find out they open at 9am on Sundays. They even called me the day before to confirm my 8am appointment. It was an inconvenience but luckily we had plans to stay on this side of town so we weren't upset that we had to drive back in an hour. Morgan up front was very friendly and pleasant to talk to on the phone and in person. He kindly apologized for the inconvenience for the mixup with scheduling. The groomers in the back unfortunately have no personality at all. Didn't feel the welcoming feeling when we handed our babies over to her for the first time. If we had more time to find a different business that could take them in on the same day, we would have cancelled the appointment. At pick up, it was the same. It was a different person who handed them over to me. She didn't smile or say a word to me, didn't even thank me for her tip. She just handed them over to me and walked away. When I go to places that offer services, whether it's for me, my family or my pets, I look for the friendly welcoming attitude because that's what matters the most to me. The prices could be affordable or expensive, and the location of the service could be on the other side of town or 5 mins away from me, it doesn't matter. What makes me a loyal customer and makes me come back is when the customer service is friendly and inviting. For me, that's what makes me want to come back as a regular customer! If others love it here and have a good experience that's great! But I am merely speaking from my experience, and mind you , it was my first time here. Again no complaints on the front desk interaction with Morgan, the location or ambiance of the store, just the customer service of the actual groomers. Service seemed good. I can't complain because my babies smelled and looked good. I obviously can't speak on how they were treated but I wish dogs could talk so I could ask. This isn't the first time I didn't like the services. I took my dog for his nails. He likes to look out the window so he jumps on the side. He scratched the panel. I brought him in to get his nails trimmed and filed and they are still sharp. The girl looked at me like confused about what I was asking for. I just paid for the service and going to take him somewhere else. I thought they were just bad at doing haircuts for dogs because I brought him there before for a haircut and it was so bad. The shop is so great, high quality options. It has almost everything you'd need very good friendly service, family owned and you can feel that. The groomer Kaitlyn is so incredible, she's never had a accident unlike most when your pets come home with injuries she truly cares and is so good at connecting with dogs, she's kind, gentle and she can work magic on even the toughest roughest cases as she had my dog looking gorgeous when she had been full of major dreadlocks and super dirty when I first got her. We are now repeat clients and my dog loves Kaitlyn. You just know they're in good hands and my pickiest craziest dog mom friends I know have now switched to this place for shop needs (food, leashes, treats, etc) and grooming with Kaitlyn! We have two of the same type of dogs and for whatever reason they cannot for the life of them figure out how to cut them the same, let alone similar. Today we picked them up and they completely shaved one dog's tail and left the others long and bushy. Do yourself a favor and save yourself the time and money and go elsewhere. I have gone to bogarts for a few years because we loved Gabi! She did a Great job with our 2 golden doodles and drive all the way from Summerlin just for her. I called recently to book an appt and she is no longer there. My friend takes her doodle to Rebecca so I figured I would give her a try. They wanted me to bring my doodles in on different days because it would take a long time. I explained to her I live in Summerlin and Gabi would always do them both together within 4-5 hours. I heard her being snarky in the back and saying well I don't have that luxury. So I guess I'll just take my business elsewhere since the receptionist and new groomer were being snarky. read more
