They lost a customer. They will NOT listen to your requests, no matter how small the request is. I have been taking my poodle and snorkie to them for the past 4 times and each time, I request to leave their ears long. Each of the 4 times, they completely ignored my request. I took them 2 days ago and they cut their ears soooo short, they were literally a hair away from cutting their actual ears. Ive taken them to other places and they always leave their ears long so this groomers is either too lazy or doesnt care to listen to any requests. Not going back again and I will stop recommending them! read more

I've been looking for a groomer for my rescue bunny. He had bad matting and a really dirty bottom. He's a lion head bunny so I was nervous and had difficulties with his fur but Lamar did an amazing job! So grateful to find someone who is able to groom rabbits and more! I've been taking Thor here since his very first grooming appointment. I've never had any issues with obtaining an appointment and staff is friendly. Even though we moved away from this side of town I still take the 20 minute drive to Calling All Paws 10/10 recommend. read more

We've been taking Dolce to Lamar FOR A DECADE now(even before Calling All Paws), and we have not once been disappointed every time we have brought Dolce in for his monthly grooming. Lamar and his team are very experienced professionals and you can see not only by Dolce's pictures, but from the other clients as well, that the proof is in the photos. These low reviews with no photos to an account seem suspicious and should be disregarded or removed. We took Dolce in yesterday for a much needed grooming and although Lamar wasn't there, Jasmin took care of Dolce and did a VERY impressive job! Big MAHALOS to Lamar, Jazmin, and every team member who has taken great care of Dolce. If anyone is looking for a great reliable groomer, definitely give Calling All Paws a try! ALOHA!!! Horrible professionalism - book at your own risk - they don't accept new clients - all because I reached out explaining my 9 year old has been getting groomed at petco and petsmart the last 8 years and recently she's been alittle iffy about her paws so I've been looking for a more personal salon for her . And this is the owners response lol - so they don't groom old dogs ? I'm confused read more

We've been going to Calling All Paws for a couple of years now. We have two young Pomchis and a Boxer. We're so glad we found Lamar and his awesome staff. They have been great to work with and have taken great care with our fur babies. So much so that our boxer girl didn't want to leave their shop the first time we took her. Their prices are reasonable, the staff is friendly and we have never had any issues. read more

I looked for a while for someone who was comfortable, confident and experienced grooming rabbits. It wasn't easy to find. Most vets won't trim or clean, and if they do, they charge a small fortune to do it. I saw the reviews for Lamar at Calling all Paws and I'm SO glad I did. When they say all paws, they mean ALL paws. Lamar was so confident and professional handling our bunny with love and care and did an incredible job getting him cleaned and trimmed and also trimmed his nails. He looks so much better. Our bun was nervous when we dropped him off, but when we picked him up, he was calm and no longer nervous. We will definitely be back. There's a before and after picture of our rabbit. Thank you, again! read more

Cash is King... Just a little update to my review. Calling All Paws no longer accepts cards. No biggie, though! (: They have an ATM right inside. I think they might do Zelle, Venmo, or one of those Cash apps, too? But I'm not tech savvy, so I just bring the green with me. They'll remind you before picking up your pups. read more

I was so nervous about leaving my 5 month old pup at a groomer. After a lot of searching I found Calling All Paws & decided to take Leo here because of the amount of GOOD reviews they have. I called to schedule an appointment & they were booked out a few weeks, & although Leo was in desperate need of a cut I was willing to wait for a well recommended groomer, so I scheduled anyways. A few days later I decided to call to see if maybe I caught a cancelation. So glad I did because they were able to get him in & groomed that same day, right in time for the holidays! When I brought Leo in, the staff was friendly & I felt comfortable leaving Leo in their care. Their estimated pick up time was accurate & I was so happy with the haircut! Most importantly, so relieved seeing that Leo didn't have any cuts & had not been hurt. I really appreciate Lamar & his team for treating my baby with care & doing such a great job! I will definitely bring Leo back & recommend Calling All Paws. Thank you! read more

Really nice and professional. Brought my puppy to them and they made him smell so good. He looked so cute and they trimmed up his butt so when he walked he looked like a corgi. My dog, Drewbrees, had his best experience ever at a groomer! He is very nervous dog and I was super stressed about taking him to a new groomer. The check in was awesome. I was asked all the right questions that let me know he was going to be in good hands. When I picked him up he was calm and looked so good! It's hard to express how pleased I am. Happy pup - Happy mom! read more

I called to check pricing, then based on price and the favorable reviews we had read I called back to make the appointment. Never once did anyone I spoke with on the phone or in person (when I dropped my dog off) advise me that they are a "cash only" business. It wasn't until I arrived to pick my dog up. I don't typically carry a lot of cash but thankfully I was able to use Zelle. At first I really liked the employees, BUT I had made it perfectly CRYSTAL CLEAR to Lamar that they were NOT to shave/cut the ear hair -- and --- to please NOT cut any more from the tail (because previous groomers had already taken far too much off). She is a chihuahua/papillon so she is supposed to have long ear hair & it was FINALLY just beginning to grow again!!! After I had already paid I glanced over & noticed the groomer (who was just finishing up) was cutting on the tail. I said please don't any take more off.... BUT... of course she did. I have to believe that the groomer was never advised about the ears or the tail so she was simply doing her job, except that she basically ignored my plea regarding the tail. The ears were already shaved so it was too late to say anything. But it is just wrong on more levels than I can count that she was NOT advised properly regarding my explicit grooming instructions. Believe me when I say we will not be going back. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I should have asked for some of my money back ...but I was too upset to go back in, so I let it go. Lesson learned. Always try to speak directly to your groomer anywhere you go BEFORE they begin, never depend on a third party to relay the instructions. I certainly will be doing that from now on. Then if the job is done poorly you offer half the amount or just refuse to pay. Rant done. read more

We have been using the services here for some time now. One of our dogs passed away over the winter, and we have a new puppy. We brought our new puppy, Murphy, here for his first grooming. Murph is 4 months old at the time of writing. When we called in, they answered using our proper names, which we appreciated. They offered condolences on the loss of our last dog, and were very sympathetic. They were eager to help get Murphy accustomed to being groomed and cared for. My wife was worried about his hair type or having a grooming ruin his fur type, which we love. They were confident, provided different options and reasonable prices. Pictures attached show before and after, and we are very happy with the result. Murph did very well for his first time. Our other dog Deuce Beagalow, was taken care of in a consistent manner as well. Their team is professional and caring, and with all the madness going on right now with re-opening, they handled everything exceptionally well. Thank you! read more
