I asked for them to give my dog a haircut and i picked her the same way i drop her off but i got charged for a haircut that she never got.

They lost a customer. They will NOT listen to your requests, no matter how small the request is. I have been taking my poodle and snorkie to them for the past 4 times and each time, I request to leave their ears long. Each of the 4 times, they completely ignored my request. I took them 2 days ago and they cut their ears soooo short, they were literally a hair away from cutting their actual ears. Ive taken them to other places and they always leave their ears long so this groomers is either too lazy or doesnt care to listen to any requests. Not going back again and I will stop recommending them! read more

We've been taking Dolce to Lamar FOR A DECADE now(even before Calling All Paws), and we have not once been disappointed every time we have brought Dolce in for his monthly grooming. Lamar and his team are very experienced professionals and you can see not only by Dolce's pictures, but from the other clients as well, that the proof is in the photos. These low reviews with no photos to an account seem suspicious and should be disregarded or removed. We took Dolce in yesterday for a much needed grooming and although Lamar wasn't there, Jasmin took care of Dolce and did a VERY impressive job! I looked for a while for someone who was comfortable, confident and experienced grooming rabbits. It wasn't easy to find. Most vets won't trim or clean, and if they do, they charge a small fortune to do it. I saw the reviews for Lamar at Calling all Paws and I'm SO glad I did. When they say all paws, they mean ALL paws. Lamar was so confident and professional handling our bunny with love and care and did an incredible job getting him cleaned and trimmed and also trimmed his nails. He looks so much better. I was so nervous about leaving my 5 month old pup at a groomer. After a lot of searching I found Calling All Paws & decided to take Leo here because of the amount of GOOD reviews they have. I called to schedule an appointment & they were booked out a few weeks, & although Leo was in desperate need of a cut I was willing to wait for a well recommended groomer, so I scheduled anyways. A few days later I decided to call to see if maybe I caught a cancelation. So glad I did because they were able to get him in & groomed that same day, right in time for the holidays! When I brought Leo in, the staff was friendly & I felt comfortable leaving Leo in their care. Their estimated pick up time was accurate & I was so happy with the haircut! I called to check pricing, then based on price and the favorable reviews we had read I called back to make the appointment. Never once did anyone I spoke with on the phone or in person (when I dropped my dog off) advise me that they are a "cash only" business. It wasn't until I arrived to pick my dog up. I don't typically carry a lot of cash but thankfully I was able to use Zelle. At first I really liked the employees, BUT I had made it perfectly CRYSTAL CLEAR to Lamar that they were NOT to shave/cut the ear hair -- and --- to please NOT cut any more from the tail (because previous groomers had already taken far too much off). She is a chihuahua/papillon so she is supposed to have long ear hair & it was FINALLY just beginning to grow again!!! After I had already paid I glanced over & noticed the groomer (who was just finishing up) was cutting on the tail. I said please don't any take more off.... BUT... of course she did. I have to believe that the groomer was never advised about the ears or the tail so she was simply doing her job, except that she basically ignored my plea regarding the tail. The ears were already shaved so it was too late to say anything. But it is just wrong on more levels than I can count that she was NOT advised properly regarding my explicit grooming instructions. Believe me when I say we will not be going back. I couldn't wait to get out of there. I should have asked for some of my money back ...but I was too upset to go back in, so I let it go. Lesson learned. Always try to speak directly to your groomer anywhere you go BEFORE they begin, never depend on a third party to relay the instructions. I certainly will be doing that from now on. Then if the job is done poorly you offer half the amount or just refuse to pay. Rant done. read more

Im not even sure how to go about this. I loved the cut you gave my dog and i love the affordable pricing especially when going thru hard times. My only issue is that it is NOT required or even asked to show proof of vaccinations here. Almost 2 years ago my pitbull caught kennel cough after being here. Now friday 5/26 i decided to take my chihuahua mix here (second time taking him here). Literally hours after picking him up he had uncontrollable diarrhea for 3 days and now is having literally bleeding from his anus. He is in constant pain and i have to wait a week for the soonest vet appointment. I love this shop but i cant continue to risk my dogs health by taking them here if they do not require vaccinations for dogs?!? All my dogs are up to date on their shots. I have family that taken their dogs here and gotten sick as well. ALL I ASK IS TO PLEASE START REQUIRING PROOF OF VACCINES I understand that even being up to date doesn't completely eliminate the risk of getting sick but it can definitely help make sure people are not bring unvaccinated dogs that can transfer viruses and other things. Murph is 4 months old at the time of writing. When we called in, they answered using our proper names, which we appreciated. They offered condolences on the loss of our last dog, and were very sympathetic. They were eager to help get Murphy accustomed to being groomed and cared for. My wife was worried about his hair type or having a grooming ruin his fur type, which we love. They were confident, provided different options and reasonable prices.
