Everything is wrong with this place. They absolutely didn't listen or take any notes of what I wanted done. They couldn't even tell me who groomed her. I just wanted her bathed and her head blended. They shaved her entire body, ears, eyelashes etc. I asked them not to touch her ears and that I didn't want her shorter. Stated that I was trying to get her to the teddy bear look. Her cut is uneven all around and they charged me $70. Never again! read more

The owner is such a sweet lady and treats our dogs well. Despite our best efforts, sometimes their coats are matted. They have lost their love, passion and care for the dogs! I was specific in what I wanted and the lady decided to do the opposite which resulted in a full price hair cut that I didn't ask for. My other pup was WET!! And she wanted to return him to me like that I had to TELL HER to please dry him off!Would you want you're dog returned to you WET?!? I've been taking my pup here to get her hair did for years! I'm always happy with the results, and if I'm not, they will fix it up right away. They do her nails, glands, wash, and cut for $42. I think it is a little pricier than others but I trust them with my sweet girl. Sometimes, she gets a cute bandana or hairbows. I wish she got it every time; it's the icing on the cake! Do NOT bring your dog to Love A Pup! The woman that groomed my dog was very unprofessional and very rough and even hurtful toward our beloved dog. The groomer was unaware I arrived early to pick up our dog and I was utterly shocked by the force she was handling our dog. She was pulling our dog by the ear and the hair on his face!!! Instead of using the harness that most groomers use, that are on the tables to keep the dog still!!! When she realized I was there she looked surprised, but unapologetic. It's unfortunate that groomers that claim to love animals are only concerned about getting a pay check. I know my dog and he was upset and very scared. I would never ever refer anyone to this place called love a pup because they clearly do not. I asked the woman to stop and I immediately took my dog, paid for the service (without a tip), and informed them I will never return! read more

I have taken my dogs in here twice. Two Maltese mixes and one schnauzer. I specifically asked the first time how I wanted my Schnauzer to be cut. But when I got her back she wasn't cut anything like I wanted her to. I wanted to clean face with just a little eyebrow and a little mustache but I got a complete Schnauzer face haircut which has hair on the face. I didn't say anything and I took them home. The next time I took her in I talked to Tiffany and I specifically told her I wanted to clean face with little mustache and little eyebrow. And once again I got a Schnauzer face haircut. Tiffany wasn't there when I picked up my dogs and I asked the groomer to please clean up my dog's face and do the little mustache and eyebrow. She did it and it was a nice job I had also asked Tiffany to dremel my dog's nails. That wasn't done either and I checked when I picked them up and the groomer that was there ended up dremeling the nails like I had asked the first time. When I had gone in the second time I must have told Tiffany three four five times exactly how I wanted my Schnauzer cut. The groomer that gave them back to me that evening told me that Tiffany had told her just give her a Schnauzer haircut the other two which are Maltese mixes were okay although I thought the cut was a little sloppy but I didn't say anything. I asked the second time that my Chihuahua mix just have anal glands and nail trim but they gave him a bath as well which he didn't need and charged me 35 for it. I won't be going back to this place there's a lot of other grooming places that can do as a good job if Tiffany isn't listening to what I want then I'm tired of telling her. read more

They've always been accommodating when I call, I really appreciate that. They do a good job. And my dog seems happy when he comes home. It's a convenient location and their pricing is fair. I've never had any issues with their grooming, although I have short hair chihuahua, so all he needs is a bath, nails clipped and anal glands cleaned, no haircut is needed. There have been a couple times that I've been disappointed with the cut, but the ladies always try to satisfy. We had an 11 a.m. appointment. It is now 4:30 and our dog is still not done. They said our dog would not stand. We advised them when we took him in that he was older had problems with his hips and standing. They said no problem. When we asked why it took so long they said our dog would not stand. He had to be held to be clipped and he would not stand to be dried so they threw him in a cage to be air dried. When I advised we had an 11 a.m. appointment she said they were still doing dogs that were brought in earlier that morning at 8, 9, and 10. Then what is the point of making an appointment? I picked my dog up at 5 p.m.. The shop was filthy with fur from every animal they trimmed that day still on the floor. The gal washing a dog in back was sternly yelling, "no" to a dog named Max. When she realized there was a customer in the shop her voice and manner softened. She came up and tried to overcharge me by $10. While signing my card my dog came wandering up on his own through all the discarded fur. I asked why his tail was not trimmed. The groomer stated she could not trim near his paws, tail or undercarriage until he was dry and he would not stand for the dryer. However, I could come back early Monday morning to get him finished. Six hours and he's not done! My dog was so traumatized he trembled for two hours after we got home. I do not recommend them for any animal that needs special or tender treatment. read more
