We were visiting our parents for Thanksgiving and didn't have time to have our poodle to be groomed. My mom messaged Kim (her 3 dogs' groomer) if she has the time. Kim responded right away and accommodated my Charlie the next day. My poodle has anxiety around other people, but Kim managed to calm her down and took the time to make sure Charlie gets a great haircut. For context, Charlie had matted hair EVERYWHERE specially behind the ear and her neck. We thought that she would be completely shaved, but Kim did her magic and we're definitely happy with how it looks. We wanted to try out a new place to get our dog groomed and this place did not disappoint! In fact it exceeded our expectation! Miss Kim is nicest lady to squeeze in haru for a schedule. She was gentle and professional! We told her specifically that we are currently trying to grow his hair and we just wanted to give him a little clean up trim. We knew it would be a lot of work to brush him out because he was already a little tangled. Most place would just shave him to avoid that but they really took their time to give us the result we wanted. Haru never looked so fluffy and soft! We are never going anywhere else. I would highly recommend this grooming business. This review is overdue as I've taken my doodleman pinscher, standard poodle and my moms standard poodle here for grooming over the last few years and this business consistently does great work and provides excellent customer service! Took my doodleman pinscher here when he was a VERY HIGH ENERGY 4 month old puppy for his First grooming and they were very patient with him which I appreciated. He came home all Trimmed and smelling clean with a handsome blue bow. Today I took my standard poodle who is terrified of being left alone at new places and had the fluff and puff package done on her, they did a fabulous job! They offered a calming treat (additional charge) to help her get through the service which I elected to purchase, this was a nice option to have. When I arrived to pick her up she was very happy and appeared she was no longer anxious which leads me to believe they treated her very well in her few hours there. She looked so pretty, they did a great job and their prices are reasonable. I've used other groomers in town and consistency is usually my main complaint, this business is consistent and has always done good work on my dogs. I was disappointed with this groomer. For the cost, $70 with a special teeth treatment ($10) - wasn't worth the money. We had taken our bully to the mountains where he got sap on his chest, shared that with Bobby (the groomer) when we brought him in. Upon bringing him home, we discovered that the sap wasn't trimmed off. We felt like we were getting "sold" and had all his attention upon arrival. When my boyfriend picked up our dog, he didn't share anything about how it went. After my boyfriend inquired about his nails (he gets fussy with nail trimming), then the groomer said that he did well and shared best practices with dog's nails. I was willing to pay $70 because the products are natural and the reviews were good. Wasn't a BAD experience but I personally expect better for that price. read more

I sent out a message to local groomers for an appt needed within a couple of days. Lisa messaged back almost immediately with availability the next day. I just needed a quick nail trim and an anal gland expression before heading out of town. (For my dog, if that's not clear.) The ladies there were super nice and Lisa was very warm and friendly. She was so quick about just taking my little Frenchie back and she was done in 10 minutes. The pricing is incredibly reasonable as well. I normally take my pups to the vet down the street, but they won't take appts and I've been there as long as 2 hours waiting. After being on the road for 2 1/2 months with our pups, they were dire need of ALL the things, since they've missed their monthly grooming appointments. YELP also does you a "favor" and selects 2-3 other random shops who also receive that email??? All of them replied, but the kindness, reassurance and honest response from Lisa at Tailwaggers still stood out. No pressure to schedule, just let us know and we'll get your "babies" in. Today was such a blessing. Dropped off our pups - Lisa and her husband clearly love their work and KNOW dogs. Our pups received the full treatment... all aspects of grooming are included in one VERY reasonable price! Our dogs looked better than when clipped by our regular groomer! I brought my 6 month old little yorkie in for a puppy cut. And what I got was a scalped puppy. She had a beautiful coat of fur that I just wanted trimmed and shaped. Great experience, no complaints whatsoever. This place is located in a strip mall on the southeast (?) corner of Sahara and rainbow by cheeba hut. I called on Sunday to inquire about prices and they were able to get me in Monday morning at 9 am. They told me they usually book up fast so they recommend calling around 3 days in advance. The service for my 20 lb terrier mix is regularly priced at $45. This includes bath, teeth brush, ear cleaning, nail clipping and popping the anal sacks or glands or whatever makes your dog rub its butt on the ground lol. The place is small so if you see people waiting outside it's because the check in area literally fits 2 people and 1 dog so wait your turn! Overall, what I loved most was that this was clearly a family business run by people that love dogs. They were patient with my rescue pup that barks and gets a little anxious around other dogs. They seemed to really know how to handle their business while keeping the dogs' happiness and comfort in mind. Personally I encourage everyone to support local businesses and give Tailwaggers a try before you go to petco or petsmart. My pooch peaches was so happy and clean. The owners, Lisa and Bobby were so welcoming and patient. My dog had 2 groomers since she was a pup. The only reason why we had to shop for a new groomer because the past groomer had a new career change and recently our old groomer lost her shop due to Covid. It was very difficult for me to entrust my fur child with just anyone. My fur child, Stella is a rescue pup. She has history with experiencing trauma as a puppy and I know that stems with a lot of her current behaviors when interacting with new people or going to new places. Generally, she does not warm up easily to new people. Especially when I am around. She is over protective of me. When I called them, they were so patient explaining and answering all of my questions I had for them. It was so important for me to have groomers who has experience working with dogs who has a history of trauma and how they would deal or interact with a dog that struggles warming up to new people. My dog can be such a sweetheart when she warms up, but she is guarded most of the time. I can tell how much they showered her with so much love and attention as she left the place wagging her tail. It is truly noticeable when my dog is scared or overwhelmed. Not this time! She left as a happy pup They also did such a phenomenal job with her cut and she smelled sooooo fresh and clean. They also put a cute adorable flower on her. Looking forward to booking our next grooming appointment. Wow!Wow!Wow! Lisa and Robert, owners of Tail Waggers are amazing people in grooming and personally. When I found out that Lisa grooms dogs with Special Needs, I broke down in tears. I couldn't find any groomers in town that did. My toy poodle Riley, had lost the use of his back legs in the past year and was unable to stand. This caused other issues from his injury, including a change in temperament, causing biting and growling, incontinence and loss of bowels. They took the time to give me tips to help me deal with his changes. I also came in with a new doggie wheelchair that I had just received and did not know how to use it. After his haircut, they strapped him into the wheelchair. That, in and of itself, was amazing as Riley would not even let me pick him up without growling and biting. Riley then took off like he had been using it for a while. To make all this so special, they recorded the whole experience on video for me. It was so touching to have those memories of grooming and the wheelchair experience forever. I am so grateful that they spent so much time with Riley. read more

Our tiny TEN POUND Maltese chihuahua was groomed here. This was the 2nd time. During the initial consult we let the owners know that he can be feisty and that they can use their discretion during his grooming and only do what he is comfortable with! We are extremely disappointed and sad. Please never take your pet here!!! His nail quick was cut SO SHORT and far down he had dried blood caked on his paw! I called to ask why this wasn't mentioned upon pick up. The owner says it happens and they don't mention it!!! This is an injury that requires care to ensure no infection gets into the open wound!! I let her know that's a huge lack of transparency!!!!!!! And that we wouldn't be returning and we would leave a review. She said "do it so I can respond" as if it was our dog's fault?! He is a tiny Maltese!!!! I feel so bad for him. Please never NEVER take your pet here to get groomed. If you see their Groupon please know it's not a good deal after all the additional pricing they add on! Also this appointment took over four hours, I had to call to inquire when my poor dog would be done and they said "oh yeah I was about to call you". Horrible!!! read more
