I was a fan of the work of Groomer On The Go but it is a bit pricey for me to have my three pups get work done. I have a yorkie, weenie dog and cane corso. Only the yorkie needs a cut so after having a $300 bill it was a bit steep for what I was hoping for but I do understand with the three I have and the size of the cane. She was late and hurt my dogs ears during the grooming. After my dog was groomed he would cry if anything got near his ears and I checked his ears and they were bright red. When I told her about the fact that she was too rough and hurt my dog she justified it by saying it did not happen. Do not go to this mobile dog groomer. It took a week before his ears healed from this grooming session. read more

I really wanted to like this groomer....and she seems to do a really good job. But whoever is handling the "back office" if there is one, needs assistance. We made an appointment for 4 pm, and when no one showed up I called her. And she said she sent a text message which I did not receive, saying she'll be an hour late. Told her that's fine. But at least this time, since I called her from my cell phone, she'll have my number now. 5 pm, and no show. So I called again, she said she's in front of our house --- well heck, right number, wrong street address. When she finally arrived, we confirmed phone number and address. As we loaded up my dog, there were two small dogs inside, sitting in their own beds, but unsecured. Asked her to secure the dogs because ours cannot be around other dogs due to her AIHA (Auto immune Hemolytic Anemia). Then she asked me what I wanted done, which I had already mentioned when I booked the appointment. For what it's worth, our dog emerged looking and smelling clean. I was really excited to get my baby groomer by this business since I saw great reviews. Unfortunately I wasn't able to experience the great service other clients were able to. It has been such a challenge to get any sort of communication. I had an appointment scheduled and the day prior of the appointment, I never received a confirmation text or call, even after I texted them the day before my appointment to confirm my appointment was still set. No response. Still giving the benefit of the doubt, on the DAY OF my appointment I called not once by THREE TIMES, HOURS prior to my appointment to make sure everything was still set as I desperately wanted the services. I gave my baby her anxiety pills 2 HOURS prior to appointment to be ready and texted them once again to make sure I'm still getting the services. No reply. Mind you they never replied back to me since MONDAY. I received no confirmation text or call. No replies either. I have tried to be very understanding and polite as well but all for NOTHING. It's disappointing wanting to support small business if this is the service we get. So I waiting for no services and gave my puppy her anxiety pills when it wasn't needed. Unbelievable. My appointment is at 3:15pm today and still no call or text. UPDATE: yes I do understand family emergencies. We all get them. As least let your clients know at a REASONABLE time too. That way we can also prepare for rescheduling or look for other alternatives. I did not mention the anxiety pills because I didn't think it was needed for me to mention it to you. As this was my baby first time with this groomer I felt it was appropriate to give her the pills to give her a pleasant first time experience. Because I know my baby's health and my concerns. And you can go back and forth with discussing with people in the 1 star reviews but supporting a business begins with first impression communication and the process it comes after that. It's sad you see it that way and that you can't take criticism or take accountability. Because how can you expect support from the start with that kind of communication and customer service ? 1 star was very appropriate. Ma'am I understand they are your family. I'm a dog mom as well so I understand because that's my baby as well. but if you're running a business and have clients waiting to pamper their fur babies, cant you at least give a courtesy text to cancel/reschedule AHEAD of time? That way we don't wait like dumbasses for a response and also so we can also find another groomer while you mourn? read more

I have two Shih Tzu puppies that needed their first groom. Mayte was friendly but needs better grooming skills. I asked her to not cut the dogs ears, she did and they look terrible. The cut on the rest of their bodies is all uneven. The sanitary area is not short enough to keep it clean. I will be looking for someone else in the future. read more
