I should have listened to my friend who brought her dog's hair. She has this wonderfully outgoing golden retriever. She told me that all the staff did was scroll all day on the phones and while watching the webcams noticed that they tried to put her into the water when she didn't want to. For some reason, I was thinking she had gone to the other location but she must have gone to the Henderson one. So because of the great reviews and the way that it looks on the website, I thought that this would be a good location since it's more convenient than my dogs previous daycare since we just moved. The first thing that struck me as odd was this is the only time where I've actually been charged for an evaluation. Every daycare that we've been to, and we've been to about five of them around Las Vegas, gives you either a free day or a free 4 hours. So I was surprised that you have to pay $30 for a 4-Hour evaluation. Because it works both ways. You're evaluating my dog but I'm evaluating you. When I came in, there was just a lobby. I was asked to fill out some paperwork but I wasn't offered a tour or nobody explained anything about services. Honestly I forgot that there was even a pool in there. They said something about putting him in a kennel first to try out for boarding which I thought was a little bit weird. And then go into the play area for the other 2 hours. I did get a text midway through saying that he was keeping to himself but he had passed the temperament test. I thought that was weird because he loves dogs. I went to pick him up about 4 hours later than the first thing I noticed was now that it was 2:00 p.m., the place reeked. Most places have some kind of deodorizer or some type of even overpowering scent so you don't smell that. But it smelled like wet dog and urine. When I picked him up, they didn't say anything about how he had done, again nothing about services, nothing about going forward like nothing that you would expect from a typical daycare after an evaluation. Oftentimes you also get like a little report card in paper given to you. I did think when I picked him up he was a little bit weird like unfocused and strange but I was like OK maybe he played a lot or something and he's just a bit hyped. Again in the car he wasn't really focusing when I was talking to him. When I got him home, he wouldn't let me out of his sight. All he did was whine every time I left a room. Which is really unusual for him to the point that he needed to be crated. That's when I opened my email to look at the report card, which I'll attach a photo, said that he took a quick dive in the pool. I became so upset because he does not swim. He has never been near water, he would avoid any and all bodies of water. His breed does not swim at all. I had noticed that when I picked him up, his leash was wet. Which I thought why the hell would his leash be wet? I'm still confused why it's wet because why would a leash be anywhere near the pool. So I was already upset that they hadn't even asked me about whether he could go in or if he could even swim. And I kind of put two and two together and figure OK he had some kind of really bad experience here that now he's like clinging to me and whining. I also looked at the photos and he's off in a corner somewhere, totally hunched over. This is a dog who loves daycare and loves dogs but he clearly did not like this place. So I sent them back a text and said I don't appreciate that you put my dog in water and he would never do that voluntarily on you so you would have to have led him in. So they gave me this long text about how they would never do XYZ and I just sent them back a screenshot of the report card that said he was in the pool. A couple of things could have happened they just AI generate the report cards with a bunch of fluff or they lied. Either way, he had some kind of traumatizing experience here because he's still clinging to me tonight. This is not normal after daycare behavior for any dog. But now that I'm looking at the reviews I'm seeing similar comments. So here are some actual suggestions. If you just fill your report cards with AI fluff, you did so at your own demise, because any good dog owner would be greatly concerned that during an evaluation you put a dog near water without even talking to the owner about it. This staff clearly does not know about dog behavior, body language, or just common courtesy or sense. Update: 2 weeks later my dog now shakes uncontrollably before going into his old daycare. I don't know wtf they did, but this place needs investigated. read more

This is Jake's third staycation at Pawsh Place. My husband and I typically stay at the Vdara when we come to Vegas and Pawsh Palace is located directly behind the hotel on Harman. We dropped Jake off and the person behind the desk was so welcoming. You can truly tell that she loves dogs. I love that the staff takes the time to post pictures of their play time on Instagram. He clearly had fun running around, making new friends and loved cuddle time. We added on a bath right before picking him up. It gives me great peace of mind to know that Jake is close by and the staff are taking good care of him, while we are on vacation. Oakley loves going to Pawsh Palace! When we come to Vegas, we always bring Oakley, and if we're working we'll put him in daycare or have him do an overnight. You can even walk to this location from the strip! There's a nice path over the highway bridge behind Vdara. They have indoor and outdoor play areas, which is good for the Vegas heat. I appreciate the high standards of care extended to each furry client they have. If a dog is less than social and doesn't enjoy spending time in a large group that's perfectly okay and they'll simply be classified as a seperate that will still get outdoor playtime by themselves. If it's an older pup that is social, but runs out of energy that is easily accommodated too. Each dog is treated as an individual, as they all should be. The daily report cards for daycare dogs is such a good way for pup parents to know exactly how their fur babies are doing and the ability to check in via cameras is beyond reassuring. Dogs that board also get a report card at the start of their stay and it truly helps reduce any anxiety the pup parents may experience. I drive 7 hours (not a typo) just to take my dog to Pawsh Palace! It is his favorite place in the world and they always take such good care of him. We got our dog while living in Vegas and Pawsh Palace was the first place we took him for grooming and boarding and never had a need to go anywhere else for 4+ years. Unfortunately, however, they completely spoiled us and our dog! I have recently relocated due to work and we have tried nearly a dozen other boarding places within a two hour radius and NONE have come close to matching the level of care and love our dog receives at Pawsh Palace. It has made taking vacations or work trips even more stressful wondering what condition my dog is going to be in when I pick him up. Our dog has seemed miserable at best upon pickup and I won't even get into the worst of the details. So, with a week long vacation on the calendar we made the decision to drive 7 hours back to Pawsh Palace. It was the best decision we could've made. It was the most relaxed we have been on a trip since we last took him to Pawsh Palace. When we picked him up he was the happiest we've seen him since we moved. Pawsh Palace truly is Disneyland for dogs, it is his happiest place on earth! I've been taking Trouble, my overweight lab, to Pawsh (Silverado Ranch location) for about 8 months on and off. I just took him to the vet and weighed him. HE HAS LOST 15 lbs!!! (With the change of food as well) resisting all the unhealthy treats that are disguised as healthy, and learning to look at kcals count on the packaging, which is calories per piece of kibble/per treat. This big win belongs to Pawsh Palace and the physical activity along with mental stimulation exerted while in their care! Years added to his life. Priceless! Have boarded my German Shepherd dog here twice over 2.5 years. Both times I had amazing service and my boy came back clean and happy! We've had some bad experiences in the past with my dog. I have never ran so fast to yelp to write a review in my life than I did today for this amazing, personable business!!!!! 10 out of 10. I will be recommending this place from here on out for the rest of my days to my fellow friends with fur babies. I'm in the middle of a move back to Vegas from California. I have been so busy and stressed out with this move, but I completely forgot to do some research on new groomers for my little Chihuahua for her basic nail trims. I called today at 2:30 PM and they mentioned that they were available for walk-ins while the groomer is there until 3 PM. I threw my slippers on and run out the door. Very happy that they were able to take me last minute. I unfortunately ended up at the wrong groomers. Which made me run a little late. I called in a panic to this location and explain that I would be running a little late, but I'll be there by three. They were totally understanding and told me to drive safe. I did luckily make it by 3 PM!! Also, with that being said - I already knew I was going to write this review on my way over there because of that customer service right there. Even before I came into the establishment. When I arrived at 2:52 - literally eight minutes before they closed walk ins( totally my fault!!) I was greeted by both the receptionist at the front desk as well as the groomer. They were both so very kind and asked me a few questions about my fur baby before they took her back to get the comfortability of her with a nail trim. My baby did so well. She was a little nervous and a little scared, but not aggressive. The front desk lady was so kind to hold, pet, and speak so sweetly to my baby while the groomer did the same to make her so comfortable. Not only making my fur baby comfortable, it made me so comfortable. They also gave her a treat before we headed home!! I am so blessed to have found my new Vegas groomer. They go above and beyond, not just their services, but the relationship with the owner owners of these beautiful fur babies Before I left, I got some information on the doggy daycare because I would like to drop my baby off one of these days to socialize. We love Pawsh Palace. We have taken Hershey twice for boarding and both times he was spoiled rotten. The staff is so fantastic and friendly. We could not be happier leaving our furry in such great care. This second visit check out was at noon but we called and were able to add daycare so the we could enjoy a great brunch before heading home. The location is so very convenient and right off the 15 freeway. This visit we stayed at Palms Place which is less then 2 miles away so we got off the exit, dropped him off and went right to our suite. The exit grooming is always perfect and wish we could find someone local to do as great a job as he gets at Pawsh. I was referred to Pawsh Palace by Brandi & Champ, and it is exactly as Brandi described. I absolutely love the place and bought a boarding package at both locations. Prior to moving to Las Vegas, my dog had a center he would attend regularly that he loved. As much as he loved it, he was hesitant to leave with the staff every time. He would tug and plant himself, because he knew I wasn't going with - he doesn't have anxiety or separation anxiety, he just wanted me to come along. I was surprised to see my dog's reaction when we were at Pawsh Palace, because he not only remembered the one and only time we toured the place, but he was SO excited to go, that he barely said goodbye to me and immediately ran and bumped into their clear glass door that separates the front lobby and the daycare center! Overall, the staff is wonderful - they are attentive, engaged, friendly, and thorough in all the work that they do. The environment is clean with lots of space for dogs to play, lots of various activities to keep the dogs entertained, as well as hosting events that incorporate the owners. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone. I am so glad my dog has been able to find a comfortable, fun, and safe second home here in Las Vegas. read more
