We recently brought our pup Beary to Buddies on a recent trip out to Vegas and I gotta say, we were so happy with our decision to board him there! Originally, we had a reservation back home with our normal pet resort, but didn't want to be away from Beary for so long; We often have to drop him off a day before our trip and don't pick him up again until the day after we get back, so that's an extra two days without the little guy (and two extra days of boarding to boot). So we looked into the possibility of boarding him close to our hotel while we were in town. A family member sent us a recommendation to go to Buddies and my wife reached out to ask about vacancy for the weekend and the owners got back to us right away to let us know they would be able to take him in and walked her through the process of submitting all the necessary documentation and clearing him to stay. Our little guy is not fixed yet, so unfortunately, he was unable to be group boarded (which is typcial). Check-in was a breeze, and He had a nice large play area to have all to himself and was boarded in a private suite. They also took him out for a walk twice a day while he was there, as well as playtime with the staff constantly. What was really awesome was that they would send us pics of him during his walks, playtime, and before bedtime. It was really awesome to get the periodic updates...which really put us (especially the kids) at ease. And it was really reassuring to know he was close by to us. Staff was super nice and friendly. The consistent updates really made an enormous difference for us. Our usual resort does not do that...so that put them way above. They seemed to genuinely enjoy Beary's company. We would DEFINITELY bring him back here again on future trips (and that is more often than not) and I wish they were located close to home...or that we lived in Vegas so we could bring him more often...wishful thinking =p read more

Would love to love this grooming place as my fur baby seemed to have a pleasant time on our first visit. But it is still in its 'growing stage' as when I booked the next grooming, I was sent a text that their groomer suddenly took a leave of absence. I was asked if I'd rather have a bath n brush instead of a full groom for my fur baby And that there are days when they do not have a groomer. And the $25 booking fee which I think is just to make sure you are coming for the appointment. Hmmm we'll see. Our golden retriever, Holly, has been a Buddies girl since she was 4 months old and fully vaccinated. The staff there are wonderful! We love them as much as she does. The facility is super clean, and every dog in their care is evaluated for appropriate doggie behavior. We even get pictures of her playing whenever she is there, showing us just how much fun she really is having. Does our puppy need daycare? No. I am a stay-at-home puppy parent, but we take her there every week so she can go just be a dog, have dog fun, and decompress. She is always happy and ready for a nap when we pick her up. My family traveled to California for a few weeks, and we went on a weekend trip to Vegas during it for a wedding. Our Frenchie, Cheez, comes with us everywhere, so we brought him with us to Vegas and needed to find a place to board him for two nights. My friend recommended Buddies to me to board him on this leg of our trip because we didn't want to leave him alone in the hotel room while we were out doing things. I was also nervous about finding a good place because he has recently had one of his nails removed because he broke it down to the quick, so we've been extra careful with him. Buddies took SUCH GOOD care of him and I could tell that they also paid close attention to keeping his nail clean during his stay. That kind of care is rare these days! This was hands down the most comfortable boarding experience. They sent us photos and updates of him while he played. I was even able to set up a FaceTime with him so my daughter could see that he was having a good time "visiting his friends" lol We got him a bath before picking him up and he SMELLED SO GOOD. I don't know what kind of shampoo they use, but I want some. Anyways... HIGHLY recommend! It was so convenient and you could tell that the employees love animals like they are their own. Bunny (my dog) & I have been here a couple of times-- boarding & grooming and everything has been wonderful, especially the communication between one of the owners, Mayte and myself. Mayte is always quick to respond and sends many updates (pictures) of Bunny while I am away. I'd have to say, the downside is not having the access to cameras like some facilities in town offer but like I mentioned, the owners and staff are always so quick to respond in keeping the pet moms/dads updated. Plus side, they always treat Bunny and other dogs like family. I waited a few months before I submitted this review so I could see how both of my dogs would do there. I've tried multiple daycare facilities in Las Vegas, and all but Buddies proved to be a huge disappointment early on or within 5 visits for one reason or another. Buddies is owned by a few ladies passionate about dogs and include some training in the daycare routine, without charging extra for it. My dogs have been to this facility about 15 times now, and each time, we get updates (photos/videos), any behavioral observations are noted, and dogs are treated with respect and humanity. I don't have easy peasy dogs, I think most people don't have perfectly behaved dogs... but I have seen time and time again my dogs going there happy and leaving tired and fulfilled, with better manners :) For reference, I have a husky and pittie mixes who are rescues. I love this daycare and trust these owners and employees with my babies 100%. I was very hesitant to bring my husky back after his 2nd hip surgery since he was not socialized for 3,5 months, but he did so well today (or, should I say, THEY did so well with him today)! I'm so relieved and happy my dogs love spending time at Buddies with their old and new buddies. They do doggy birthday parties, monthly specials, and provide the care I love. read more

I spoke with your office and they were well aware of the vet bill! They recommended the vet! However no one returned my call or responded about my request for footage of my puppy at "play". If he indeed hurt himself playing I have the right to see that footage! Update 9 April 2021: Thanks for your explanation, but I'd rather find a business that I feel completely confident in. My problem was with the lack of communication between your employees concerning scheduling and the 10-20 minute service that was booked; the "yes, she's ready" confirmation" on the phone when I called and spoke to an employee; the employee that lied about the groomer not tending to my dog because she was out purchasing clippers, only to return with her dinner; and then further delays because the groomer didn't actually inspect my dog's long nail before assuming it had grown into her paw. I can accept broken systems, faulty WiFi; sick employees, busy schedules and all of that. I just can't accept the inadequacy when it came to communication. read more

I have been boarding my doggies here for years and I have always had the best experience. This place was recommended by a good friend of mine and it's literally the only place I trust to care for my babies while I'm on vacation. My dogs also feel very comfortable here, and I appreciate that they aren't confined to a cage majority of the day like most boarding places I know. There is also usually open availability and the pick up and drop off times are convenient with my hectic schedule. Check in and check out is quick and easy so that's a plus too that the location is close to the airport.
