Went to Petit Robert Bistro last Sunday to try their unlimited steak frites special! They offer this deal on Sundays only ($39/pp) and it comes with unlimited steak + unlimited fries. There are a couple of other restaurants around that do this deal on Sundays too, but I believe they only do bottomless fries & not steak haha. Made a reservation on OpenTable same day and had no issues w/ getting a table for 2. We ended up getting an order of steak + frites each to start, as well as a separate order of escargot (I love escargot)! The escargot was okay. I wish it had just a little bit more flavor... tasted kind of grassy and flat, compared to when I last had this dish in France. For the steak, we did medium rare & medium. They come out w/ a plate of steak and the fries first & come around w/ plates of steak upon request, ~2-5 pieces at a time. Came with a black pepper sauce, which was tasty & paired well. We ended up asking for salt + pepper shakers and more sauce mid-meal because the steak lacked some seasoning & it helped immensely. Overall, our experience at Petit Robert Bistro was not bad. Is the $39/pp worth it? Perhaps. I'm not sure if I'd come back for the unlimited steak + frites option again mainly because I definitely can't eat too much steak lol.

Unlimited steak frites? Say less!!! Petit Robert Bistro offers unlimited steak frites on Sunday nights for only $39! I came for the deal, and I plan to return because the steak was actually legit! I was expecting the steak to be thin and not good in quality like other places, but I was completely wrong. The steak at Petit Robert Bistro was not only much better in quality, but also properly cooked, juicy, and well-seasoned. The $39 deal gets you a serving of baguette, a small plate of salad, and unlimited steak frites. I love food, so I also ordered escargot to start my meal, which was delicious. The restaurant itself was nice and cozy. My friends and I arrived at around 5pm without a reservation, and there were plenty of tables to seat us. We ultimately decided to sit at the bar instead, and the restaurant started to fill up in the next hour or so. Our bartender took great care of us and made sure we had an excellent experience. If you love steak frites, this might just be one of the best values in Boston right now! Would you tap out early... or keep ordering???

Petit Robert was the perfect spot for drinks with the girls. Cozy, charming, and very Parisian energy. The cocktails were well-made, the wine selection was great, and the atmosphere felt intimate but still lively. Service was warm and attentive, which made us want to linger a little longer. Such a cute Boston gem for a relaxed, classy night out

A solid neighborhood standby serving French classics done well. Nothing adventurous, but from the charming French waiter to the rattan chairs and classic French table settings, this place screams "French bistro". Had a croque madam with excellent thin crust fries, and a shared lovely crepe brûlée for desert. I don't think I've been here in several years, and maybe I need to come back more often It might be a slightly Epcot version of a French Bistro, but I'm ok with that. Also: Buck a shuck oysters 3-6 pm every da

Such a cute French spot! Stopped here for drinks and Petit Robert did not disappoint. I got the Solara spritz to start and finished with the perroquet. Both drinks were tasty and refreshing. Cocktails are $15 but there were plenty of options for wine, beer and non alcoholic drinks. The service was great and we were able to seat ourselves outside. The seating is perfect for people watching and enjoying a beautiful day or night in the south end.

Came here for my husbands birthday for happy hour and it was great! The dollar oysters were a steal and we got the chips with aioli. The drinks were yummy and service was really quick - we got out both drinks and our food within 10 mins.

4 of us came here for dinner during Restaurant Week. Their Restaurant Week menu was a nice sampler of their regular menu. For starters, my friends got the French Onion soup and I got the Soup of the Day. The onion soup was so rich and the sourdough bread soaking up the soup was perfect. The soup of the day was a creamy squash-based veggie soup, delicious as well. I got the mussels and my friends got fish, chicken, and steak. All entrees were delicious and left us wanting for more. The fries were mediocre though. We ended the meal with dessert. I got the creme brulee and it was phenomenal! The portion size was quite generous and it was a perfect blend of creamy custard, crispy burnt sugar, and fresh fruit. Overall, a delicious meal and very much worth the Restaurant Week pricing.

Enjoyed a bit of a pre-holiday brunch today. Great table by the window for people watching. I enjoyed my French favorites- bread, escargot, and Croque Monsier. Many large groups- busy Sunday just after 1230pm. I would usually get mousse but the host recommended the serial bread pudding. It was excellent.

Lovely restaurant in the south end. French food was actually French and extremely well done. Service was great and the joint is very cozy.

The service was fast even though I only saw one waitress. The ambiance is cute and very refreshing. Parking was a little bit of a pain but across from the church was just fine. The view was very nice looking on at the magnificent church across the road. The food was amazing. Nothing bad but the water wasn't very cool. Overall come and check out this quiet French place

Ambiance: 5/5 Service: 5/5 Food: 4/5 Very cute spot in the South End, perfect for meeting up with friends on the weekend. Came here on a Sunday morning at 10:30AM and it was very easy to get a table inside without a reservation. Charmingly decorated inside. Menu is very French - my smoked salmon potato waffle with capers was delicious! The waffle texture was different, but didn't taste overwhelmingly of potato. Would come back here again if I'm in the area.

Do they do outdoor patio seating?

Yes, there's a huge sidewalk patio now, post-COVID. Very nice!

Is this restaurant handicapped accessible ie: Wheelchair ? Thank you :-)

If you eat outside, yes. However, if you have a wheelchair, I would say getting to the restroom would be a challenge, as it is almost through the kitchen.

We chose to sit outside; it was a chilly fall evening when we went last year, but we got some lap blankets which was a nice touch, so brownie points for service. My friend and I split the pastitsio (meat pasta dish), kotopoulo (a chicken dish), louza charcuterie, and tiropita (halloumi rolls). The rolls were stuffed with halloumi and were dense in the best way possible. Coupled with the louza charcuterie, the appetizers were a hit. The two entrees were small but mighty - they were packed with rich meats but also featured microgreens, herbs, and other tangy, bold flavors that really balanced the dishes. We got some glasses of Greek orange wine that I can't remember the name of but it paired excellently with the food per our waitress's recommendation. Overall, a solid Greek option if you're in Back Bay! But definitely make a reservation if you can.
