Great choice for our last dinner in Seville. The restaurant has a warm and alive feeling with the staff friendly and helpful. We shared the small cheese plate which had 4 different selections - all very good along with the Duck Risotto that was outstanding. The Deep Fried Sardines served in a deep fryer basket looked and tasted wonderful. Our server recommended the Octopus with Creamy Potatoes and it was also delicious. If you don't come here.... Then you are crazy. Absolutely amazing flavors and frankly the best food I may have EVER eaten. I have tried Spanish food throughout Spain and this was the most melt in your mouth flavorful croquettes and the pulpo was Devine. Eating here will ruin anywhere else you eat PERFECTION. read more

This review is for the bar next to the restaraunt (you def need a reservation if you would like to have a sit-down dinner at the retaurant.) I went 15 minutes after they opened, and the bar was already at half capacity. They have single seats at the bar, so definitely a good place for solo dining. This place is slightly more upscale (especially when foie gras is on a tapas menu), and it is beautifully decorated. Behind the bar, the shelves are filled with books and alcohol bottles. Service was superb, as the waiters provided recommendations and refilled drinks with gusto. Great ambiance to relax and eat and enjoy the food. Food is plated nicely and served promptly. Portion size: I scoped out photos on Yelp and had a couple dishes I wanted to try. My waiter told me to cut down to 2 tapas. Good rule of thumb: 2-3 dishes per person. Taste: Everything was a bit too salty. Other than the sodium overload (everything that I ordered was very heavy, so maybe that was the underlying cause), the food was SOO good. Huevos rotos farm-fresh eggs served with foie gras on potatoes: BIGGER THAN IT LOOKS in photos. I left half the potatoes uneaten, otherwise I would have been to full to eat anything else. The egg was cooked perfectly; sliced it through like butter, and it leaked on everything...ooo yaaaa. The foie gras was the best ever. The taste wasn't overpowering, and the texture was so smooth. Just perfect. Again, it was a little salty for me, but still delicious. There was a sweet honey(?) outline along the edges that balanced the salt slightly! The potatoes were necessary to absorb some of that flavor pairing. The waiter's favorite dish. Octopus with silky mashed potatoes, a touch of truffle oil, and egg yolk: The octopus was cooked to perfection. Oh my goodness, it was the star of the show, and it carried everything else. If not done right, octopus is too chewy, but these guys have mastered the octopus. The truffle oil was definitely more than a light touch, but I didn't mind it. The egg yolk made everything better, duh. Again, just a little too salty for me. The potatoes were also very silky, as advertised. IF I HAD THE APPETITE TO FIT MORE FOOD IN (on my original list, then i saw other patrons order these and wished I had multiple stomachs): Burrata: I really wanted this but was told it was too much for me. (He was right.) The elderly couple next to me ordered it, and it was plated so nicely. Let it be known that at first, they were animatedly talking with each other, and once the food came, there was only silence as they ate the salad. Let it also be known that my eyes must have burned holes in the burrata as they ate from how much I stared at it. Salmon carpaccio: The waiter recommended this as the most popular dish to the couple on the other side of me. It looked bomb, so colorful. The guy couldn't stop raving about it as he ate, so my eyes kept looking between the burrata and then the salmon. Tldr; I enjoyed the ambiance, service, and food immensely. This was our favorite restaurant on our trip. Everything we tried was incredible, my only regret was not being able to try the entire menu. I recommend making reservations ahead of time, but they do have a bar area next to the main restaurant where you can order off the same menu, but even this area had a long wait by the time we were leaving. We ate dinner at Petit Comite in Seville and we really want to thank all of you who recommended it. It was by far the best dinner we've had in Seville. Everything about it was memorable. The service was superb with Hugo as our main waiter and a total crew behind him making sure everything ran smoothly. The menu, while small, was complete enough to offer something for everyone and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. We had the ensalada petit comite , 4 croquettes, a solomillo for each of us and the nougat ice cream with chocolate over it for dessert. Also one of us had a glass of sangria and we had 2 bottles of water and bread. When we got the bill we were pleasantly surprised to see that it was 68 euros for everything. A wonderful dinner that we can't recommend highly enough. Can't wait to go back. PS- they have private rooms if you're interested. read more

I waited a good month to write this review because our experience was so infuriating I wanted to make sure that it was not written out of passion. Relying on the reviews at this website, we made reservations for 11 people during a day trip we made to Sevilla. My sister and I are Spanish, and we were traveling with our spouses and children. When we arrived, our first impression was great: they had prepared a separate room for us and the waiter (a gentleman with a braided beard) seemed especially conscientious, making sure he went to great lengths to to be informed regarding the allergies of one of the kids who was traveling with us, and impressing us with the number of languages that he spoke. Without going into too much detail, the lunch (2:30 Spanish time "comida") quickly turned into an absolute disaster. Braided beard explained each dish to us and told us how great they all were and recommended certain dishes and certain portions given our crowd. He of course told us that it was very important to order the solomillo rare (which we all did except my brother in law who is scared of juicy yumminess). After following his advice, we ordered our food, including three of the solomillo dishes we had ordered for 5 of the kids to split, simply never arrived. We kept inquiring, and we were told that they were "two minutes" out. 90 minutes into the meal, we had 5 very hungry kids on our hands who had not received their meals, and everyone else had finished theirs. Braided beard waiter had been replaced by another waiter, named "Paco," who began to apologize profusely, and confessed to us that braided beard had never actually placed the order, and that they had just started to cook the solomillos for the kids and that it would be "another two minutes." 15 minutes later, I left the private room to try to find a waiter, and Paco said he was going to send Braided beard to us to explain. Braided beard came and started making all sorts of bizarre excuses about how the solomillo takes a certain amount of time to cook to make sure it is perfectly rare but not cold, and about how the website warns that a good meal there takes 90 minutes. We made it clear that we were perfectly happy to spend 90 minutes eating, but not over 90 minutes waiting for half of our party to get their food, and that three of us received the solomillos within 15 minutes of ordering, so enough with the excuses -- we needed solutions. He then said that he could bring the adults desserts while the kids all waited for their entrees which they had not received. I said that was a ridiculous solution. He told that he could not do more and that he could not discount the solomillos themselves. At this point, we just wanted out, and hated the arrogant preachiness of braided beard and his immature refusal to accept any responsibility, but the kids were starving and we were being promised the meat was coming in "dos minutos." It finally did arrive, and -- ironically -- was dry and entirely overcooked. Paco arrived again, apologized for the behavior of braided beard and comped us the steaks. We wasted nearly 3 hours of precious time at this place, time that should have been spent seeing and enjoying the city. After a mistake like that, the only real remedy is to apologize, comp the meal, and be done. This was by far our worst customer service experience during a 3 week trip in Spain. read more

We went to Seville during offseason so we didn't overly plan anything. We came back late at night on a Saturday night and needed to grab food. Unfortunately, we hit the Spaniards prime dinner time. Everywhere we went were full. We came in here expecting them to tell us off, but the staff was nice enough to fit us in. This place has two store fronts and a generous backroom so we were genuinely impressed. We got some sangrias and a glass of wine. The drinks were the best we had in Spain and it was definitely more pricey than the other tapas places. The food was quite delicious as well. We thought the servers spoke great English! We wandered upon this beautiful restaurant after seeing a flamenco show nearby and it was probably the best meal we had in Seville. The night started off on a good note when the maiter d' seated us without a reservation when he was virtually completely booked. Once we were seated we felt immediately comfortable and the waiter was attentive and friendly. We ordered five dishes like tapas and they were amazing! The flavors were all so fresh and delicious and the dishes complex. The avocado gazpacho in particular was incredible. We also ordered dessert which was just as good as the dinner Itself. The caramelized egg yolk seems weird when you see it on the menu but is actually really tasty and sweet and you should definitely order it. Great restaurant design and ambiance: perfect size in my opinion (ie. on the smaller, intimate side but not cramped), elegantly casual decor to make it warm and unpretentious but just slightly formal enough to make this a great place for a date or special dinner. A must try when in Seville! Tapas yes, but not your ordinary. Fried sardines, marinated in Tito served with mint aioli. Egg, potato & foie...words can't describe. The burger was decadent. The chef adds ingredients to your average tapa that really elevate the dishes. Small restaurant, make reservation in advance. Great wines by the bottle. Even the olive oil served with the bread was amazing. Good with people that don't speak Spanish. read more
