    Wok Oriental Vegan
    Kasham L.

As a vegetarian, I really appreciate the amount of options available here. The falafel was AMAZING and my friend really enjoyed the Tuna Tataki plate. Also had the Wok Oriental Vegan plate which was delicious. Portions are appropriate, great location. Staff are very helpful.

Thank god and the restaurateur gods for not forgetting Seville when it comes to vegetarian/vegan restaurants. Great, varied menu with a nice amount of veggie and vegan options. Decent prices and nice service. Small but cozy and pretty much a must-try if you're someone who goes nuts for healthy vegetarian food. Oh! They also have meat and fish for *those* people. :) I like this place. Thumbs up!

Spinach salad with warm goat cheese. So good !
    Patricia A.

Food was excellent, especially for the price. The warm spinach salad with goat cheese was excellent. Had croquettes, asparagus wrapped in Parma ham and the beef skewers with French fries. Left totally satisfied. We came back a second night. I had to have the spinach salad again, it was so good. We also tried Iberico pork with pancetta and potatoes and the Spanish blood sausage with eggs. Both delicious. Then, since we still had a little room, we had the Moroccan skewers with French fries. I love this place even though it's probably for a younger crowd.

I was welcomed by a polite and friendly waitress, as they were just opening at 1 pm. Got the "Carpaccio de ternera" (veal carpaccio) which was properly presented. Its taste was as I expected minus the lemon juice for marinating purposes, but wasn't a big deal. To follow up got a Pollo Villeroy (chicken Villeroy) which was juicy and tasty with the béchamel cream and breadcrumbs leaving a pleasant aftertaste. All washed down with a small Cruzcampo beer bottle. Arte y Sabor is a nice cosy place facing the Hype-Alameda de Hercules Square and it worth a visit if you're in the area. Recommended.

The food was good, but nothing too special. I think the fusion idea worked with some dishes but not all. The ambiance was great though, and that was the best part.

Three tapas option instead of one main course - tapas about €3.50 to €4.50.

Went at 10:30pm on a Sunday night with one vegetarian and three omnivores for very late dinner. Everyone found something delicious on the menu. Staff were really friendly and helpful and all up the bill was about €45 with wine, beer and soft drinks which was good value. Would happily go back.

I don't remember the rest of the prices since I didn't order them haha. I tried the first two. I died eating the solomillo. It was an amazing blend of savory and sweet and crunchy (the bread was toasted) and soft (cheese). It was perfect. The papas bravas were piping hot and the sauce was just right. I didn't try the other dishes but my friends seemed to really enjoy them. A 25cl Cruzcampo was only 1 euro, which was what drew us in in the first place. Ambiance: Busy and lively. We didn't have any trouble getting a table for 5 but it quickly filled up thereafter and there was a steady stream of guests peeking in for open tables. Service: The guy was super attentive and it seemed like he and the other waitress worked well together to serve their tables. He was always smiling even though all the tables were filled, which we appreciated. I would recommend to everyone. Do yourself a favor and try the solomillo. Seriously.

Every afternoon, the city shuts down for a few hours. But other stuff is trickier to decipher. When do people in Sevilla eat, for instance? That might be the biggest mystery of all. Some days at noon, this lovely little pita joint on the Plaza Calderón de la Barca is totally empty. Other days, it's a madhouse, and it seems like the whole neighborhood is sitting out front in the sunshine drinking cañas of beer. When you don't know the local schedule, you get paranoid, and you start to imagine that everything is following a schedule that you're not privy to. Like last night. I saw several unrelated groups of little kids on rollerblades, and I wondered if it was "Rollerblade Friday." A few days before that when I kept seeing people wearing the same kind of knitted scarf, I convinced myself that it was "Knit Scarf Tuesday." That's how it is when you're a stranger. You find yourself at lunchtime sitting alone at Pitacasso eating a plate of yummy falafel balls, wondering where everybody is and how they figured out that's where they're supposed to be.

This was within a mile of our hotel and is literally a hole in the wall. If you do not Google map it, you'll probably never find it. Fair warning: This is where a lot of the locals eat, takes only cash, and no one speaks English. (If you can point, smile, and have Euros you'll get served.) The dishes we enjoyed were a greek salad, chicken and vegetables on a skewer served with Pita, and a couple of caña (small beers). The flavor was excellent and filled us up. We planned to come back, but were here over Christmas 2014 and it wasn't always open. If you get a chance drop by and enjoy it. Great find!

Although we still got right to business..... Delicious food. A great variety of dishes in the menu for all tastes including lots of exotic and yummy treats. Major props to the waiter who advised us against our post-work hunger-induced ordering frenzy. We cancelled one thing and he put our order into a sequence on his pad with a question mark beside the last tapa in case we got too full. We powered on but ended up struggling with the last dish. So he did know best in the end. The staff were all so friendly and accommodating and very efficient and relaxed simultaneously. They were on hand when we had questions and didn't rush us out the door even though we were the last to leave late on a Tuesday night. My recommendations are the biryani and the tagine de albondigas.... caution though....They're both very filling and quite rich. We ordered 5 tapas and 5 drinks between 2 and paid 16euro each. We left feeling super full so we could probably have knocked that last dish off the menu, saved a fiver and still been raving about the place..... so overall I'd say the place is pretty amazing! Delicious Italian - no matter your dietary restrictions!…read more I came here after reading reviews and seeing from the menu that they accommodate dietary restrictions. I have to be gluten-free and dairy-free, but I still had a good meal here! Their menu is available in Spanish or English and they use symbols to denote vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free. I'm not sure why it's not marked on the menu, but I'd seen a review that their gnocchi is the gluten-free pasta option, so I asked about it when we got there. If you're gluten-free, mention it and ask about gluten-free gnocchi (not sure if all their gnocchi are gluten-free or if it's different). They have two vegan pasta options and three gnocchis, but they're good so if you have any dietary restrictions I'm sure you'll still enjoy what you have here. What we ordered: -Mediterranean Salad: Spring mix with tomato, raisins, and Gorgonzola (subbed vegan feta - I think they use Violife which is good) with a red pepper vinaigrette. It had an interesting mix of flavors, but I would've preferred the tomatoes to be incorporated into the salad (I think it was more form over function), possibly using a San Marzano tomato sliced in halves would've been better. Pine nuts and or bits of olive could've complemented the flavor too. It was nice to have something fresh to go with the meal. The dressing was light but nice and tangy. It was decently large so we shared it as a side salad for both (large for a side for one). -Gnocchi Gorgonzola: This is what my mom ordered, so it isn't dairy-free, but she enjoyed it! -Gnocchi Pesto Pugliese: I ordered this. It's vegan and gluten-free (I said gluten-free gnocchi, but again, not sure if all the gnocchi is gluten-free or it was different). The gnocchi was doughy but not too mushy and the sauce was light with little bits of crushed almond and pine nuts throughout. Sort of like a sundried tomato pesto. It was good and I was happy to have an option, but it was a bit simple so I added some of the vegan feta from our salad and bits of the complementary olives to it to add more flavor. I think it could have used the extra cheese, larger bits of nut to add more texture, or Italian sausage crumbles (obviously this wouldn't be vegan, but if I were to remake the dish at home). You're just missing something crispy and textured or a richness. If you're dairy-free or vegan and need an option, it's nice to have this. The gnocchis were generous and we each took home half our portion as leftovers. If I didn't have dietary restrictions, we could've shared one along with the salad. They have a good selection of Spanish wines available by glass or bottle. We didn't have a reservation but were seated immediately. The staff was very nice and it was a nice environment.

I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.
