We accidently stumbled upon this gem and man were we delighted when we got seated right away as the wait lines were crazy long. The others were in big groups and a two person table was a rare sight which helped. They are located at a very prime spot and there were almost 50 plus people just sitting on the streets waiting to get in The décor is very unique with wooden beams over the central room and wrought iron wheels hanging with lamps from the ceilings .They also have one of the largest collections of bull heads in the city on their walls .I eventually found out how popular this place is and hence the crowds. The food is a good mix of Tapas as well as larger entrees and we ordered - Baked Goat cheese with honey - both me and my husband did not like this at all . It was just a taste preference because what was drizzled on it certainly did not feel like honey .. it tasted like balsamic to me . I could totally be sounding ignorant here but perhaps I missed something . solomillo al whisky - It comes with roasted garlic which for me was the show stopper . Lots of potatoes too. Iberian ham with Eggs and potatoes - I don't know what I expected but this dish was not it . The sangria and the wine tasted fantastic and we would have liked to have more but we certainly felt rushed with them clearing our table even without asking us. Although I don't blame them because the lines were really building up at this point but for me the ambience is what gets the four stars. Service was alright but as I mentioned very rushed . The restrooms were in shambles with the toilets overflowing and trash everywhere .

My wife and I stumbled across this place after watching a Flaminco show. Amazing, warm decor, friendly staff and great food! That was two days ago, and we decided to return today. Same great experience, same friendly staff and great food! If you happen to be in the area... Give 'em a try, you don't be disappointed.

We went here off peak hours - late lunch, early dinner. But I highly recommend that you do a reservation online. There was a big party reserved and our waiter has to turn out some people by the door. All of our orders are tapas but some looks like a plate serving. We ordered 6 tapas for two: the pork cheek in sauce, oxtail in sauce, oxtail croquettes, flamenquin croquette, chocos fritos (fish), and adobo sevillano (fish). I also tried their vino de naranja (orange wine) which is really good. The menu is available via QR code in English, Spanish, and French. The menu is also numbered which makes it easier to order. Our waiter speaks English and is very courteous. The restaurant shows a lot of history and culture. The ambience is very perfect for a date night. The restaurant is also close to Real Alcazar and Sevilla Cathedral.

I am reaching out to express a concern regarding an experience that suggested discriminatory behavior by a member of the waitstaff during our recent visit earlier today around 15:00 pm This particular waiter is super rude to us and showed many discriminatory behaviors when serving us, initially we thought It's the language issue since we're from the US, and we do not expect everyone to speak English, and have translation apps handy to assist. He only uses strange hand gestures to greet us, never said a word and not even the simplist "Hola". Then he used some random gestures to point the table and didn't take us there while he's able to greet all other white guests and bring them to their table. When we're ordering food, he did not answer any of our questions about the menu items, portions or give any recommendations at all. Yet we only come to realization that he is completely capable of speaking English as we heard him serving other white guests who are also from the US next table with fluent English, unfortunatley he just seem not capable of speaking English to us Asian Americans... We thought racism isn't a thing anymore but apparently we were wrong. I truly wish the owner of the restaurant can see this comment and or other visitors (especially Asians or Asian Americans can see this review) It's such a shame to ruin a good tasting historical restaurant with racists waitstaff. Truly hope you can improve education on this particular person.

This place was recommended by Rick Steve's and it was 100% worth the try. It has a fun local ambiance and the food is incredible. Nothing to complain about. Must try the oxtail in sauce!

Walking distance from Plaza Del Toro One of my favorite tapas and sangria places in Seville. I visited this place many years ago and I'm back here again. Great menu, try the following tapas (from $3.00-$5.00) Fried eggplants with Moroccan spices Pork fillet with whiskey sauce Oxtail Oxtail Croquettes Pork Cheeks Cured Iberian pork loin Iberian choirzo Sangria $3.00. Amazing place, friendly and welcoming restaurant. Great food, decor and ambiance.

YUM. Before I get into the service and the ambiance, I have to say that you could almost taste the strong sangria and the food before walking through the door! The ambiance is comfortable and cozy. Apparently it's inspired from old Sevilla comedy clubs (it's also decorated with bullfighting pictures and bullheads, etc.). There's a cozy fireplace and a spiral staircase, and it's a treat for the eyes. Overall, the menu is extensive, and the prices are reasonable. The service was fast, and the servers were kind and accommodating, though communicating in English was a bit of a challenge. We were starving after an afternoon of visiting and sightseeing around Sevilla, and wanted to order a number of tapas plates, but the waiter kindly advised us to order a little at a time as the portions were sizable (and boy, was he right!). Overall, I would definitely visit again! Would highly recommend!

I really enjoyed this place. Super good flavor, very crowded interior. Definitely poppin' place. The oxtail was very tender. Grilled pork not so much. The Spanish omelette is basically a chunk of potato. Tasty tho. Better than La Cathedral. On par with Pepe Hillo, just not as aesthetic plating wise.

    Gazpacho - super yummy

We went to a tapas place a few doors down, menu was limited, food was super expensive. After 2 dishes, we left and came here since we saw a crowd as we passed by earlier. We had 30 mins to order and eat before the place closed. Menu was huge, each tapas entree was about $3-4, service was fantastic, the food came out fast and boy were they good. Taste was perfect not to mention the portions were excellent to be shared amongst 4 people. We literally ordered about 10 tapas dishes and gobbled them up within 20 mins. Would definitely come back to this place in the future and would highly recommend it !

Wonderful tapas at a great price. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. This made for a great lunch! We recommend the tinto de verano and the queso con honey

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. We sat at the bar and I was able to practice my Spanish with the bartender. The ham was a generous portion and I loved watching them cut it behind the bar! Very fun and old establishment-y vibes. Wish we could've tried more on the menu if we didn't have other plans!

I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.

The dessert was to die for. This place is super packed during peak dinner hours and there is barely any room to stand. The layout can be a bit confusing, as the restaurant seems to have three dining rooms with separate entrances but only one kitchen. Where we sat was charming, with stone walls and wood-beamed ceilings. We started with the foie appetizer, which was a delightful surprise for my palate. It was a unique combination of foie, cream cheese, and what I believe was pear. It was unusual, but I ended up really enjoying it. The zucchini noodles with pesto and burrata were also very enjoyable. However, the star of our dinner was the 40 day dry aged ribeye, cooked perfectly medium-rare, tender, and absolutely delicious.
