The service wasn't the best we did get there later in the night but felt like we were more in the way of their cleaning than being welcomed into a restaurant mind you the restaurant was still somewhat full. So many wonderful tapas restaurants in Seville. We found this place trying to get out of the rain. It was nice to find a warm place with kind servers and great food! The restaurant was busy but there was a table we shared with another couple. The menus are available in English and Spanish. More languages are available if you ask. Very friendly to tourists which was great for us. There seemed to be a lot of tourists there speaking so many languages which I love! This place was a little more expensive compared to some of the more local tapas restaurants. The menu catered to foreigners with hamburgers which we ordered. My husband was craving a burger and it was great! I got the beef tartare and the cod fritters. The cod fritters were a lot to share. Both were great. Our waiter was so polite and helpful. Squid was well seasoned and plated with tasty garnishes and sauces, but it was a bit overcooked and rubbery. The burrata was really good with a nice mix of fresh ingredients. The risotto was rich and creamy, no real notes. Rabbit tacos were super disappointing. The meat had the texture of pulled pork but with the flavor of boiled chicken breast. Absolutely delicious. I've been going to El Pintón since shortly after it opened, and always find something new on their menu to try. Yesterday, it was their delicious Carillera de Cerdo Ibérica. My only complaint was that it could've been bigger! Fair enough, more excuse to "tapear" and try the menu. The service is kind and informative, if a little slow. Our waitress recommended the cocktail Ambrosía, which was a melon knockout. The risotto, too, was great. Lovely spot with lovely ambiance across the few dining rooms (or with space to sit outside). El Pintón is an innovative tapas spot located in a colorfully designed street in Sevilla. It has a chic Mediterranean taste. Sitting outside was exquisite, as the weather was perfect and the street nor restaurant was not too crowded or deserted. The food, however, was one of the best tapas we have had in Spain thus far. My favorite was the huevo tempura trufado, which is a tempura fried egg with truffle cream. The prices were affordable for a restaurant of this caliber. We walked in without a reservation, but I recommend making one to ensure getting a table. I would recommend it to anyone visiting Sevilla! read more

I was intrigued with this place because of their selection of drinks and cocktails! Made a reservation here for my birthday on our first day in Seville. As most restaurants, they have both indoor and outdoor dining but we were seated inside. Our server was kind enough to speak to us in both English and Spanish. They ran out of a few menu items, but still had plenty of options for us to choose. Since we had a fairly late lunch, we each ordered a drink - mine was the combination number 3 I believe. The server actually brought a glass of ice, ginger beer and Jack Daniels Etiqueta Negra (think of the drink as a Moscow mule but instead of vodka it's with a smoky Jack Daniels). She gave me a hefty pour if liquor that she poured into the glass of ice and even asked me if I wanted more. As I'm not a big drinker, I politely refused and accepted what she poured in. I love ginger beer and wish the ginger beer it was served with was spicier. We shared a salad and a burger. The salad had nuts and corn bits, which in my opinion was not edible and too hard to chew. The burger was delicious though and easily big enough to share between two people. It's ground beef but tasted so different and much better than the ones in the US. I don't recall our server asking how we liked our burger cooked, but this was cooked medium. Beware though since they instantly bring you a bread basket that is not complementary. I believe it was about €1.80 per person extra charge that you will see on your check. I'm sure you can opt out of getting the bread if you don't want it! read more

Nice place in a quiet (relatively) triangle in the tourist area. Outdoor seating is nice for people watching and an espresso or sangria and snacks. We had the rabbit tacos: marinated meat with an avocado salsa and pickled onions. It would be better if there were 2 tacos for wrapping instead of just one. Cod fritters were not very crunchy but the cod was deliciously prepared. Service is good, food comes fast and espresso is excellent. read more

Aesthetically beautiful restaurant with gorgeously plated food and really delicious drinks. Sangria here is certainly strong! We particularly liked the tuna tartare as well as the clams. A treat for the eyes and definitely an instagrammable restaurant as well. Conveniently located not too far from Sevilla Cathedral or even from the alcazar, and a good lunch locale for both food and drinks, just a little pricey; not absolutely unreasonable. read more

This spot has one of the most pretty interiors that I've seen. We had already enjoyed a tapas lunch but thought we could eat more and rest up before our next tour. The prices are a little higher but nothing outrageous. We opted for two tapas and two beers. The tempura sof boiled egg looked so good with the smell of truffle cream and all. I was a bit disappointed that the egg inside was cold. The batter wasn't hot either so not sure when it was deep fried. There were 8 croquettes and we ordered the assorted one. Honestly couldn't tell very well what the meat inside were but appreciated that the batter was lighter than others we've tried. Service was fairly attentive as there were quite a number of people sitting outside also. I would come here for the atmosphere and a drink. The foods were decent but not amazing. Me and my friends stopped in this place for a friends birthday. Immediately the atmosphere is so calming and nice. We all got drinks. The mojito's were very cool because of the ice they were made of looked like shaved ice. Me and a friend got a pitcher of sangria which to this day we remember as our favorite. (We lived in Spain for 8 months so we had a lot to chose from) it had strawberry's and bananas and rose merry. The fruit was lovely to eat afterwards and the rose merry really added to the drink. Next we all ordered. Everyone loved what they got. I personally got the battered egg which sounds odd but was AMAZING. Truly a culinary wounded in my opinion and I would recommend everyone to try it. We finally made it to this restaurant after 2 years of living outside of Seville and I can't say I was happy about it. The place is absolutely gorgeous with an inside garden and rustic decor. The servers for the most part are okay not great especially this one female in particular I believe she's Latina maybe from South America. She had an attitude, didn't care about the customers and was stand-off ish turned me off completely to the entire experience. I ordered the red wine sangria and it was definitely made with the entire sugar jar. No one offered to give me something new. The prices are high for Seville. The only 2 items I liked on the menu were the buñelos de Bacalao and the Ensaladilla de ahumados(with less mayo of course) we ordered the risotto which no where in the description it mentioned that the chef would decorate it with curry. Who does that? Curry out of all spices? Weird! I'm allergic to it and when we asked about it that annoyed waitress mentioned, you didn't mention that you were allergic. I said no where on the menu does it say that the risotto has curry as an ingredient. She smirked, well this is a fusion kitchen. Done! We ordered coffee and the brownie the brownie was meh nothing special, I also asked if there was anything other than regular milk for my coffee she said no with an attitude and had no regard to my request. After all of this, we waited for our check and for someone to take our payment for almost 15 minutes. Never again. Sorry I wouldn't recommend this place especially because of the service and the the way the food is presented. I come from the city of fusion cuisine (New York) and this is not fusion! When fusion is done the menu is detailed to avoid situations like the one I had yesterday. There are much better restaurants in Seville with much better service. Avoid this one. read more

This place was actually the highlight of our trip to Seville. I wish I could give it 4.5 stars instead of 4 or 5. It was a great place with very nice food and solid service. A great change from other Tapas places. We had the patatas bravas which were probably the best we had in Spain. I was recommended by a friend to try this place and was told to try the calamari sandwich. Upon arriving, we were told the wait would be about two hours and since we weren't too hungry we decided to leave our phone number and wait to be called. After walking 30 minutes, they called us and said they had an open table. I was so excited to order the calamari sandwich since the pictures on yelp looked so good, but the waitress said they no longer serve it at the restaurant (the menu I was given was also different from the ones on yelp, wish I took a picture). I opt'd for the cod instead and the portion was absolutely tiny for the overpriced cost of the dish. So cheap for what you get and the entire experience. Interior is amazing, design is great, and the patio is lovely too. If this place was in New York, it'd be 10x the cost. The duck is unforgettable and the egg thing + ink pasta was also memorable. Everything we've ever gotten here was great -- risotto, chicken, etc. No complaints. Delicious food and attentive service. Bumped into this place after touring around the palace on an extremely hot day (over 35 degree C). Waitress told us to wait 30 min for an inside seating but has periodically checked with us to make sure we were not bored. Food is spectacular! We had egg omelet with truffle sauce and beef tartare. Both came in 10 min and were loaded with flavor. The chef constructed his/ her perfectly sized, intensely flavorful tartare with a modest chop of steak, mixed with confit tomatoes, onions (maybe?) , honey (maybe?), lemon juice, olive oil, and other small chunks of veggies, and topped with a quail egg. The menu threw us off a bit - it didn't sound typical, nor super appealing. But boy were we wrong!!! The gazpacho was simply amazing, best I ever had. Which may seem underwhelming for something so simple, but it was worth every sip. I was literally licking the glass it was served in. The grilled veggies were extremely fresh and still crunchy- we were on a roll! Then came the buratta salad dressed in truffle oil, thank you chef! And while I didn't quite see the taco in my "salmon taco" - it was cooked to perfection and definitely a great choice. As were the finger-licking ribs. After going into another restaurant for dinner around 5, we left after 5 minutes when staff literally ignored us. They seated us and then couldn't be bothered with us - their only customers (party of 6). Thankfully, we came upon El Pintón. Our waiter although Spanish, spoke flawless English and was quite engaging and attentive . We didn't catch his name, but he told us he learned English by watching movies. Too bad we didn't get to ask about his favorite films. He gave us heads up on sizing for the mussels (quite a large portion). I had the scallops with parsnip foam. OMG! I wish there had been more than four, but then I had some of the mussels we bought to share. Very good. Not tough or gummy. The tenderloin steak was more of a medium than medium rare and a little on the small size for adult entree, as was the Iberian ribs for other 2 adults, but very tasty. The burger was cooked well, but not a fan of the Brie on the meat. The adult who ordered mussels as her entree had her fill. When we finished, I wanted to order dessert and our waiter suggested the cheesecake. I said I was thinking about the rum pineapple with coconut foam and anise. He said okay, but the cheesecake is a must. We ended up getting the cheesecake and it was absolutely divine, served with what I would guess was a small batch in-house ice cream (I can only guess - and not your run of the mill vanilla ice cream). While this was our most expensive meal, the quality of the food and the service made it well worth the price. Truth be told, with tip (propino) it was comparable (adjusting portion sizes - which always seem to large in US with leftovers that aren't ever as good) to a nice dinner in Southern California. If we're ever back in Sevilla, this will be our first and last night meals. read more

We originally spent 60€ at another restaurant and still feeling hungry and we popped into this restaurant (without a reservation) and luckily we got in right away. We ordered a ribeye steak but they charge 7€ PER 100g and they have like 650g/700g/800g so order accordingly. The risotto was off the charts. They use local cheese so it has a bit of kick to it. My husband and I absolutely loved this place! We popped in between lunch and dinner so they were only seating people on the patio but that was perfectly alright with us. Our waiter was extremely friendly and attentive. We shared the Burrata Salad, Tuna Tartare and Risotto. I would absolutely recommend each of these dishes but the Burrata was the star. The avocado and tomato paired with it were so fresh. The Sangria was a little too sugary for me but it was still good! Visited here with my family. My adult daughter has allergies and has restrictions including no sugar. Had a delicious mojito sugar free and the risotto is the best I've ever tasted ( sorry Aunt Louise :( ). I ordered the vegetables and they were grilled to perfection. Service was great. They had menus in multiple languages, so its tourist friendly. I had the red sangria, which was good, but different. I had never had sangria with banana in it, which made it taste different, but not necessarily bad. We got the bravas, which were some of the best I've had in Spain, the burrata salad, which was good, and the mini hamburgers, which rival some of the best burgers I've had in years.
