The location on Encarnación Square is nice - it's right next to the Mushroom, for plenty of people watching while you wait for your apps - and we found the food to be average or above average. The sautéed shrimp is not to miss: tender texture, really delicious, and brought over the top by a seasoned pan sauce that we sopped up with bread. The namesake Malvaloca burger was thick and beefy. On the other hand, my "grilled provolone" was a letdown, a victim of poor English translation. It's not a sandwich; just some provolone cooked in an oven and then sprinkled with chimichurri seasoning. In addition, I wasn't thrilled with my glass of wine - too young. They shouldn't sell it.

Wow ! what a gem and I am so glad we stumbled upon them while in the area. From the service to the presentation to the taste everything was top -notch and even though they say they are fine dining , the prices are affordable for most things . So a word of caution that the lines can be long here so prepare to wait . As I had been mentioning in most of my Spain reviews being a two person party really expedited the process for us in most locations and this place was no exception and we were seated immediately .We got - CRISPY RAVIOLIS STUFFED WITH SUCKING LAMB AND CURRY MAYONNAISE "PATATAS BRAVAS" BAKED AND FRIED POTATOES WITH HOT SPICY SAUCE OXTAIL STEW CANNELLONI,TRUFFLED BÉCHAMEL AND CRUNCHY PARMESAN Vermouth and Rioja For us It was a great meal and everything that we tried on the menu was excellent and if I lived here I would go back again and again . Service was really good and attentive and the ambience inside is relaxed and trendy .

    Croquettes, very tasty!

Recommended by our hotel concierge. A very nice restaurant in a busy square, located under the cool architectural structure of Seville. The food was delicious, except the steak was a little chewy. The grilled salmon was fantastic (it was gone before I could get a picture!) We had to wait a few minutes for our table for 5, but other smaller parties were seated quicker.

Decent food, nice ambiance, outdoor seating with view of the waffle structure. We enjoyed the potatoes with chili, tuna with seaweed, duck paella was no bueno, friendly service. Would try the other dishes next time.

Quality food! We stopped by for a light afternoon snack, and loved what we ordered. Got the artichokes, the ham croquettes, and the empanada. The prices are higher than elsewhere, especially since you're in such a popular plaza, but I'd say it was worth it. The empanada was the best we've had in Spain thus far, and my Argentine husband said it was muy authentic. The artichokes were impressive, because normally artichokes are too tough to chew on, but theirs was soft enough to eat yet rich and delicious, especially with the almond and beet spreads it came with. The croquettes were creamy and super tasty. Our waiter was great, too. It was a busy time, but he held it down.

Salad? What did I hear that word, here in Spain where the hunting of bulls goes back to the Phoenicians and the eating of pigs is a national obsession I saw the menu. And it looked fairly healthy. I had to wait awhile for an outside table and service was chaotic bordering on incoherence, but then the salad came out. Burnt spinach with walnuts and goat cheese. I topped it off with tuna tataki! Which comes in three pieces as a tapa. It was delicious. The waitress saw my ingenuity and loved it. All swallowed with a Hendricks gin and tonic. The ambiance is great overlooking the La Encarnación Plaza. A great little spot with an eclectic menu.

Iberian pork with fries with Roquefort sauce , the sauce very salty

Sat outside after looking at Metropol Parasol. This place is directly across from Metropol Parasol. Ugh, not impressed with this place. Ordered Grilled Iberian Pork Tenderloin Fillets , Smoked Sardine, potato omelette, grilled octopus leg, and I forgot what else. But potato omelette and pork tenderloin fillets came with same sauce that's very salty. When we left, we told the server, is it Spanish food that's salty in general or just this restaurant? She said she'd talk to the cook about it.

Came here on a whim that's to the recommendation of a little old lady who saw us lost. And I have to say I'm so glad she directed us this way. From the service to the food, everything was great! I have to give them an A+ because their service is fast. We didn't have to sit there waiting for our food. Once we ordered, the food came out within 10 mins. We are on a patata brava world tour and have to say these make it onto the list of some of our favorites. It had the right amount of kick and with flavor. We also got the egg scramble with gambas rojas and was pleasantly surprised at how everything paired well. The tacos were also very delicious! It was a chicken tika taco. Definitely would have ordered more. The drinks were good and refreshing. Nothing out do the ordinary. I loved that the place looks upscale but the ambiance is relaxing and laidback. Never feeling rushed by the staff. I'd you're in town check it out!

Extraordinary from the service to the food to the ambiance and the location. We highly recommend this place everything was so good. Perfect place for first time in town. It was just a joy.

THE BEST SANGRIA YOU'LL EVER HAVE!! I absolutely loved both the red and white wine sangria. But I had a preference for the red. Tip- if they're too crowded, go to the place next door! They basically have the same sangria! However, that place can get crowded as well.

A casual restaurant in the area of Las Setas. Food is excellent. Service was just okay but the food makes up for it. Reasonably priced tapas. They don't take reservations and can get busy on peak hours.

I wandered into this place without checking Yelp! :-o I had X glasses of the D.O. Roija LAN, all were excellent. For dinner, the grilled Iberian pork tenderloin fillets were tasty. I barely needed a knife, but I did. The smoked sardine loin and the Andalusian goat cheese were outstanding. I finished with the French toast in Sevillia style with honey and ice cream. I love my traditional deserts, but fining something new to me is fun, and it was delicious.

    Here's the menu btw

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. We sat at the bar and I was able to practice my Spanish with the bartender. The ham was a generous portion and I loved watching them cut it behind the bar! Very fun and old establishment-y vibes. Wish we could've tried more on the menu if we didn't have other plans!

I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.

We ordered their roasted lamb with cous cous, garlic shrimp croquetta (that was the croquetta of the day), pork cheek stew with potato purée and the chocolate panna cotta for dessert. The dessert was to die for. This place is super packed during peak dinner hours and there is barely any room to stand. The layout can be a bit confusing, as the restaurant seems to have three dining rooms with separate entrances but only one kitchen. Where we sat was charming, with stone walls and wood-beamed ceilings. We started with the foie appetizer, which was a delightful surprise for my palate. It was a unique combination of foie, cream cheese, and what I believe was pear. It was unusual, but I ended up really enjoying it. The zucchini noodles with pesto and burrata were also very enjoyable. However, the star of our dinner was the 40 day dry aged ribeye, cooked perfectly medium-rare, tender, and absolutely delicious.
