Deep fried Iberian ham and cheese. It was ok
    Brenda T.

We loved this place, stayed for a very long time. You are suppose to order drinks and tapas at the bar and picked it up there, but we ordered so many and had a table, so they would bring it to our tables. I think they have sit down area in the back, we haven't seen it. It gets packed pretty fast. We had a lot, started with 2 glasses of red wine with cheese and ham to shared, then decided on a bottle of red wine and a bunch of tapas. My favorite was the goat cheese and quince jelly, it was absolutely delicious, I love how simple and refreshing and sweet it was. The tuna belly was also delicious, I've never had it before but I would definitely recommend it. I also recommend the marinated salmon, which just comes with a piece of salmon on a small bread with olive oil, and dry herbs. Their Jamon de Bellota, Iberian ham, acorn-fed, was also delicious. We also got their fried items, meatballs, stew, tuna sirloin, they were okay. It gets really crowded and loud, and they literally open their gates 8PM. I think a lot of locals come by. I like the vibes. I would definitely come back, though, we had a great time, enjoyed their service and tapas and wine.

Recommendation from my local tour guide. Came at 12PM just as it opened, so it was pretty empty, with only 2 other tables of tourists. But a couple locals trickled in as I was leaving. Seems to be pretty authentic, very little frills. Service was polite and to the point. Food is definitely good here and BETTER PRICED than most places I've been to so far. Got 2 tapas (cured sausage & marinated salmom) and the dessert (flan). Cured sausage was above average, but mothing to rave about. The salmon was delicious though, the "marination" seems to just be olive oil drizzle but it's just bomb. The flan was also so silky, and the chocolate sauce elevated it. I haven't even had bad flan though. Wish I had more of an appetite to try other things. Maybe one day when I come back. Why -1 star? 1. It gets so drafty because of there open restaurant design, seems pretty good for summer...not great when it's raining and windy outside. I was freezing standing at the most inside table :( 2. Also, not a place to hang around. They have limited chairs, so most people stand, whether at the bar or high-top tables. Seems pretty normal as locals in pairs just stroll up to the bars and forgo the tables completely. Tables have a shelf underneath to place your stuff. 3. They didn't have a lot of the menu items ready yet, and they didn't have quail eggs. Probably bc I was there just as it opened, but disappointing nonetheless.

Our only bite of the evening

The worst part about this experience is that we didn't stay to eat all the tapas. We grabbed a couple of drinks here, a single tapa (an excellent one at that), decided it was a little too slow and bounced hoping to find another spot. We had immediate regrets about leaving. The atmosphere alone was really enjoyable (very old Spain, everything you'd expect on a tapas crawl), dusty old bottles on the shelves, an aged counter that has definitely been there for years and years, and even the old man behind the counter added to the vibe. I get the idea that this place is the spot for cheese and cured meats, but it looked like some of the neighboring patrons at the bar had ordered several (delicious looking) sandwiches. The single item we tasted was a semi-soft goats cheese with membrillo (quince paste) atop a slice of bread. A simple bite, but it left a lasting impression. If we'd had more time in Sevilla we would have 100% come back another night to eat more tapas there. Disappointingly we only had one day, so we will just have to dream and plan another trip in a few years ;)

So far this is the fav stop on the tapas circuit of Sevilla. Enter off the side street to get to the bar area with tables. Loved the real atmosphere, non-touristy, and friendly, fast service. House red wine for €2 is not half bad and they have a very nice menu of sherries to sample. The lomo al Jerez (cold slice of pork loin with coarse salt) was so simple but so tasty, reminders of a good porchetta in Italy. Morćon de Ibérico sausage was hearty and excellent but the fav was the salchichón en vino with thin slices of patatas - so so good we had to order another round. Also nice selection of queso. Loved our snappy waiter with a sense of humor too! Can't beat the prices! Am going to have trouble paying 4 times the amount for not as good of tapas back in the US!

Been to Sevilla twice and this, hands down, the very best Tapas Bar. Service is extraordinary. Wide variety of tapas, drinks, etc. Prices are very reasonable. Service is fast and friendly.

I had a good time here, the atmosphere is nice and very authentic feeling. I ate Goat Cheese with Quince paste which was delicious! Creamy cheese and sweet quince. I had Papas Bravas which had good flavor but were a bit greasy and soggy for my taste. And I had some Croquettes which were excellent! The wine and beer is very cheap!

Delicious! This is a place frequented by locals with typical tapas. Came recommended by my Hostal. My favorite dish was the papas alioli which were to die for! Very tasty! Sangria was also delicious. This place gets packed so try to come early but don't get turned away by the crowds. It's worth it.

This place is centrally located in Seville, which is a good thing. It's very close to the cathedral. Javier our server was very nice enough to suggest some good tapas from the menu. We had the albondigas, sardinas, pork cheek, mussels, anchovies with cheese, chicken and sangria! Everything was to die for and it was cheaper than any other tapas places we've been in. I noticed that a lot of locals come here, so for me that means it's good! Haha... they also accept cards!

Busy even off season. It is tapas and the menu is limited. So my rating is based on overall food and atmosphere which is friendly and the waiters have a nice sense of humor. Jamon iberico and cheese are staples. I highly recommend for a 'chill' experience that seems less touristy even though its smack in the middle of the tourist area.

Knowing we were going to eat a lot during a food tour, we settled on some small tapas (ham, cheese, bread, and olives) and got some sangria and a beer. I came here due to a yelp recommendation because like most westerners unaccustomed to the Spanish way of living I was hungry at about 7 pm and needed something to eat. Yay yelp to the rescue. The place was crowded and there were no seats available when I arrived. There were many small groups congregated around tables and a few couples as well. It isn't obvious how to proceed once you come in the door so I probably stood there awkwardly for a few minutes near the door before making my way to the bar to what looked to be a vacant seat. A gentleman informed me that it belonged to his girlfriend so I was forced to now stand awkwardly next to the bar. Bar tender to the rescue explaining that if I waited he was pretty sure someone would leave soon and I could order a drink while I waited. I ordered a sangria and also inquired about food but was told that I need to have an actual seat in order to order food. After nursing my drink for about 20 mins when I was about to pay and head out to find somewhere else to eat, a spot finally opened up and I was treated to the most delicious steak and potatoes and zucchini tapas. This had to be one of the most delicious things I have eaten on this vacation. When I finally vacated my seat to save a pair of new arrivals, there was a line outside of people waiting for the opportunity to eat here. I might chance it again before I leave Seville. I highly recommend for the food and friendly waiters but wish there was a way to turn seats over more quickly. One guy kept insisting he was saving his girlfriend's seat but in the 90 mins I spent there she never showed up. Who knows if she ever existed. Bread comes free with your tapas order and really complimented the meal.

The layout can be a bit confusing, as the restaurant seems to have three dining rooms with separate entrances but only one kitchen. It was a unique combination of foie, cream cheese, and what I believe was pear. It was unusual, but I ended up really enjoying it. The zucchini noodles with pesto and burrata were also very enjoyable. However, the star of our dinner was the 40 day dry aged ribeye, cooked perfectly medium-rare, tender, and absolutely delicious.
