Fantastic experience ! We had the picnic for two, but we asked to include our son and they accommodated. The meal included two apps, main entree , a bottle of delicious sparkling wine and an amazing chocolate fallen down cake with ice cream. Every course was well thought out and executed perfectly. Service was phenomenal and spot on. We are a tough crowd and they delivered ! Please do yourself a favor and try them out !

sollomillo de cerdo, panceta, ajos confitados, patatas and the sollomillo de cerdo Iberia con patatas asada

The food was absolutely delicious and the service was great! Everyone was very friendly. Highly recommend!!

Pechuga de pollo con boletus

We've been in Spain for 5 days and haven't really enjoyed the cuisine until we came here! The owner is extremely kind and passionate about what he does. You could tell he loves what he does and it shows in the food! Presentation is 10/10 and just everything was absolutely excellent. We ordered the picnic con Vino blanco Andaluz. If we ever come back here, we will make sure to stop by again!

Located couple of blocks from Real Alcazar, so we chose this cafe for breakfast on our way to the Alcazar. The owner was a young friendly guy. The coffee and tea were really delicious here. We tried the Avocado and tomato toast and also the Iberian ham toast. Both were tasty and filling.

My friend and I wandered in by chance and had a wonderful meal -- we highly recommend it for quality, creativity, ambience and price. Plus the couple running the place were very hospitable and more than patient with us and our limited Spanish. The other patrons were locals btw. We had the croquettes puchero to start and split a salad of peppers and smoked tuna that was phenomenal. We also shared an amazing dessert that was like brownies with whipped cream and a sorbet. Even with four glasses of wine, the bill was only 34 euros. We ate every morsel and enjoyed our visit and were made to feel very welcome.

There is a cancellation policy, so you will need to put down a credit card and around 15 Euro per person to hold the time/date. You will have access to a sit-down table and a waiter and full-plated menu and fancy tapas. VERY IMPORTANT ... Know by sitting at a table with a reservation, you will pay 3 - 5 times the price for the same tapas on the bar side! 2. Show up and get a seat in the bar area for tapas. This is first come, first serve and there was a line of around 5 people when the restaurant opened at 1 p.m. It probably wouldn't be a problem getting a bar area or table if you show up 15 - 20 minute earlier. Otherwise it's a free for all. We would have preferred the bar side and less money ... however, we had a little one in a stroller so we didn't want to jockey for a spot. Had we known showing up a little early at the opening time was so easy, we'd have done that. The waiters are all older in the restaurant side and act pretentious ... as fine dining waiters do. They have little patience ... aren't very friendly ... and are very brusque. They act like they are you doing a favor by waiting on you. Also, be prepared to speak Spanish. The food here is good to average. It's expensive (on the fine dining side) I would imagine the food is the same quality ... just smaller portions on the bar side. We didn't try it. On the sit-down side, things get pricey and you have to order larger portions. We ordered: - Iberico Ham ... 20 Euros. They brought a big plate. There was no smaller order. It was very good. Not the best that we had but better than anything you'd get in the US. - Croquettes ... 12 Euro. Another big order size with no smaller available. These were the best Croquettes we had in Seville. Fried perfectly with a very loose and cheesy filling. Almost like a breadless grilled cheese sandwich. - Cuttle Fish ... 12 Euro. This was pretty bad. It was like eating giant strips of rubber with no taste. Way too chewy and hardly any batter. It was served with no nipping sauce and was like eating a basket of small tires. - Creamed Spinach ... I have never tasted anything like this. It was like eating spinach blended with cream with church insence mixed it. I'd imagine a basket of poppuri soaked in salt water would taste similar. It was not great, although very unique. For 8 Euro, a big pass. - Cheesecake ... Not great. Tasted like a square of sweet cheesecake with strawberry jelly on top. I can't imagine you couldn't find something similar in a supermarket for much cheaper than the 6 Euro price. Overall, the atmosphere was nice. It was immaculately clean inside and it didn't really look as ancient as you'd expect. It looked like a Spanish restaurant you'd expect. However the food was pretty average compared to other restaurants in Spain. We saw the table next to us both got steak and left it about 3/4 eaten, so it couldn't have been fantastic as they didn't look like the GLP1 type. This is one you must hit in Seville, just because it's so famous. It's on a cute street. However, don't expect it to be the best food you try in Seville and if you can do the tapas bar side, you'll probably have a better experience than in the formal dining room area.

There was a show going on when we arrived around 10:50, so the main entrance was closed off, but we went through the side entrance and ordered drinks at the bar. I got a small glass of the orange wine, since I heard that was the specialty in Sevilla and wanted to try it. It was a sweeter wine but had a slightly bitter after taste. There were already a lot of people there, so it was a bit hard for us to see the performance, but from what I could see, it was really good. When it finally ended around 11, the lights came on. My friend and I didn't want to wait around for the next performance, so we finished our drinks and left. They also have plenty of seating outdoors in the courtyard, so if you want to just grab a drink but not watch the show, you can always sit outside and chat.

This is by far the worst restaurant I've been to while visiting Spain, and I've been to a lot in Barcelona, Madrid, and Seville. I ordered 3 tapas that took over 40 minutes to arrive. Meanwhile, I noticed many people who arrived after me and ordered the same dishes had already received theirs. I asked the waiter, and he kept telling me it was coming. But when I saw people who ordered the same thing receive it in less than 10 minutes, I asked him again. He flipped out, yelling at me in Spanish, saying if I wanted to talk to him, it needed to be in his language. He literally yelled across the entire restaurant. I was left feeling totally disrespected and frustrated. I just told him to cancel the rest of my order. I finished my meal, paid, and left. Horrible service and rude staff, do yourself a favor and avoid this place!

Tables perhaps a bit close together, not terribly comfortable. Loud, busy. As far as the service, it was our impression that our waiter was the only person serving the 30 or so tables in their dining room. Suffice it to say the service was not fast and not good. Inexplicably, every time we ordered a Coke we were asked if we wanted a Coke Zero. If I wanted a Coke Zero I would have said the words Coke Zero. Even when I asked for another Coke, he again asked "Coke Zero?" It took next to forever to get the check, and forever to get a cappuccino. At one point I took it upon myself to point the waiter to a table behind us that had been desperately attempting to get his attention. This was all not good. As to the food. First, our fault for not knowing what tataki meant. We did not expect to receive salmon that was seared on the outside and raw on the inside. So that one is on us, although we also think the meal came tepid at best. The lamb on couscous was dry and tough. The pork cheek stew was actually pretty good if a bit gluey. The calamari was good. The sushi as they called it was average. What they called the tiramisu was more like a pudding with some liqueur and chocolate on the top, and a little bit of breadish stuff in the bottom. Not my idea of tiramisu, and probably not yours either. So we could not get too excited about these various dishes. But what was particularly frustrating and bizarre was that two people sitting across from us ordered food that looked absolutely delicious. So we got to sit there wondering why we didn't order what they ordered. They ordered a large beef dish with potatoes which is on the menu, and we think they ordered a large octopus meal although we are not sure. Everything they had looked better than anything we had. So it may be that we somehow just picked the wrong items. So it was a strangely frustrating meal. This place has good reviews and we expected good tasting food. Unfortunately it did not work out that way, and the ambience and service were negative contributing factors. I can't entirely write this place off, only because the food other diners received actually looked very good. But I don't think I would go there again.
