    Clams in garlic

Do yourself a favor - come here and get the clams in garlic sauce. Your taste buds will thank you! This dish is about a hundred little clams, delicately cooked in olive oil and garlic. It sounds simple, but it is finger licking good! (On that note, our waiter taught us that the proper way to eat this is with your hands and not the fork!) We also shared an egg dish with ham, peas and shrimp, which was served like a tower. The bacon-like bits of ham added bursts of saltiness while the shrimp were plump and the peas were meaty additions to the dish. The service is also fantastic! Our waiter gave us a potato salad on the house and even advised us that - when we ordered two of the egg dishes - that it was too much food, instead of allowing us to just go ahead with our orders.

There is a reason that the locals pack this place. The food is decently priced and the food is deliciously satisfying. Don't miss the Garlic clams and the Pork Cheek. Bomb.com The only downfall I can see about this place is that you'll have to hover and fight for an open spot/table because this place is always packed. 5 stars.

    Great vibe

Good food, great service, fun ambience. Lots of locals. You may need a reservation, unless you want to stand at the bar.

This restaurant is packed and the waiters are all super busy. It's important to be mindful of all the hustle and bustle that's going on and try to wing a seat at the bar or a small table outside. Do not ask for a table if you want tapas; otherwise the menu and experience will be completely different, let alone the price. This place really put on trial my broken elementary school Spanish. The tapas bar is frequented by the locals and seating is extremely limited. Most people hang around outside drinking and chatting away. Thankfully they have Spanish + English menus. We got the salmorejo (cold tomato cream soup with ham and egg), abondigas (squid meatballs), croquetas caseras (meat croquettes), and langoustine with bechemel. Most of the tapas cost €2.50. All 4 tapas + drink for €14 - $18.25! A good deal for tasty tapas. Credit cards accepted. Great tapas but a the whole dining experience felt a bit challenging.

Best lunch ever. And we want go back to order thru the menu . It's simple, traditional tapas menu but done perfectly with good ingredients. Yummy it's rare that a food place can be open this long and keep up.

We ordered their roasted lamb with cous cous, garlic shrimp croquetta (that was the croquetta of the day), pork cheek stew with potato purée and the chocolate panna cotta for dessert. We also ordered their sangria and tinto de verano. Every dish we ordered was AMAZING - tasty flavorful well seasoned melt in your mouth meat bursting with flavors. We devoured every bite and it was hard to pick a favorite. Both the lamb and pork dishes were 11/10. Not just the taste but the presentation of every tapa was fantastic. Their drinks were also great. The dessert was to die for. This place is super packed during peak dinner hours and there is barely any room to stand. Since we walked in around 11pm, we got a seat and were well taken care of all thru the night. Also noticed alot of veggie options on the menu which was great. Service was awesome ambience is chic. I am certain I am going to crave their tapas once I am back home. Highly highly recommend this place when in Seville.

To call this place rustic would probably capture…read moreit best, it's really probably more like a cafeteria or a school room at a very old school. Tables perhaps a bit close together, not terribly comfortable. Loud, busy. As far as the service, it was our impression that our waiter was the only person serving the 30 or so tables in their dining room. Suffice it to say the service was not fast and not good. Inexplicably, every time we ordered a Coke we were asked if we wanted a Coke Zero. If I wanted a Coke Zero I would have said the words Coke Zero. Even when I asked for another Coke, he again asked "Coke Zero?" It took next to forever to get the check, and forever to get a cappuccino. At one point I took it upon myself to point the waiter to a table behind us that had been desperately attempting to get his attention. This was all not good. As to the food. First, our fault for not knowing what tataki meant. We did not expect to receive salmon that was seared on the outside and raw on the inside. So that one is on us, although we also think the meal came tepid at best. The lamb on couscous was dry and tough. The pork cheek stew was actually pretty good if a bit gluey. The calamari was good. The sushi as they called it was average. What they called the tiramisu was more like a pudding with some liqueur and chocolate on the top, and a little bit of breadish stuff in the bottom. Not my idea of tiramisu, and probably not yours either. So we could not get too excited about these various dishes. But what was particularly frustrating and bizarre was that two people sitting across from us ordered food that looked absolutely delicious. So we got to sit there wondering why we didn't order what they ordered. They ordered a large beef dish with potatoes which is on the menu, and we think they ordered a large octopus meal although we are not sure. Everything they had looked better than anything we had. So it may be that we somehow just picked the wrong items. So it was a strangely frustrating meal. This place has good reviews and we expected good tasting food. Unfortunately it did not work out that way, and the ambience and service were negative contributing factors. I can't entirely write this place off, only because the food other diners received actually looked very good. But I don't think I would go there again.

I loved that I was only one person and did not get an eye roll for having to be seated at a table for 4 especially since it was so busy. My afternoon server, I forgot his name but he had blondish hair and slim, was just the nicest server you could hope for. The food was beyond amazing!! If you go make sure you get the bread (1€) it is a large roll that does not look much at first but was absolutely delicious. I was lucky enough though to get it hot out of the oven which was a game changer vs cold during my night visit. If you like sangrias they are made to order. I do not know the how the tasted but the lady beside me liked the first glass enough to order a second My favorite tapa was the sardine on a wafer like cracker. The spinach-chickpea dish is a local dish that I tried since it is a dish to have in Seville. It was way too much for one person but I did my best. The artichokes were good. Clean restaurant and had a one person size restroom.

We left saying it was the BEST meal of our trip! You need to check this place out!

The menu outside and the inner ambiance (and the fact that the place was mostly empty, so we could easily get a table) called to us, so we decided to check this place out. Let it be known that a mostly empty restaurant does not mean the food will be so-so! My husband and I agreed that this place has the BEST pizza we've had anywhere! It's light, flavorful, thin and crispy, and just down-right delicious! Ostia Antica has a menu that has English descriptions, making it foreigner-friendly if you don't speak or read Spanish, and a ton of vegetarian and allergy friendly options (they have allergies listed out next to each dish on the menu). I ordered the pizza vegetal (vegetable pizza), which was vegetarian and awesome (with or without the chili oil- which I would recommend if you want to add heat/spice to your food) and my husband (not vegetarian) got the pizza iberica (recommended to him by our waitress). He said his pizza was super flavorful and amazing. The ambiance is quiet (probably because there were only a few other couples there) and cool. They also played a good music selection that added to the "chill" vibe. Finally, the waitstaff was amazing. They were really attentive, switched to English when they noticed us struggling with our Spanish, and were so nice (and funny!). We'll definitely be going back and would highly recommend this place!
