No matter what time of the year,a Pete's Pops is the right choice! There are a few different locations, but we like the Vliet Street the best as they have the most options since they make the pops there. We haven't tried all the flavors, yet... but, a few favorites in our household: Thai tea, cookies & cream (with a whole Oreo inside!), sweetcorn & blackberry (trust me on this!) and salted watermelon. My husband and I got married at The Ivy House on April 16, 2022. We wanted something different in terms of dessert. We had Pete's Pops a few times in the past, and I thought it would be fun to do popsicles for our guests! I reached out and sure enough, they cater to weddings. This was such a fun and unique idea for our wedding! Pete's Pops has a super cute set up with a cart, an umbrella, and a chalkboard listing the flavors that were picked out prior to the event. Someone serves the popsicles to guests - and it was just perfect at our wedding! Everyone was thrilled with the unique dessert. We even had bar signs with signature drinks that suggested pairing with a couple of the popsicles. Pete's is super flexible with the planning and the whole thing was very low-stress. They are great with communication! We went in for a couple of tastings and verified everything via email. The flavors we went with were Wedding Cake, Coffee n Donuts, Cantaloupe Lemongrass, and Rosewater Lemonade. All delicious! My friend and I were at the Milwaukee Public Market today and saw that there was a Pete's Pops stand on the sidewalk selling cool boozy concoctions, so naturally we had to stop. They had a cool variety of beverages, some that included pops in the drinks, others that were just boozy slushees, and of course, pops on their own. We both ordered the coffee flavored boozy slushee. It was awesome. I don't remember what was in it, but it tasted great and was refreshing on this surprisingly warm day. This is for the pop-up by the Milwaukee Public Market in the Third Ward If you're in the Third Ward on a hot day, I highly suggest stopping by Pete's Pops outside of the public market on St. Paul. We were just passing by and saw a line starting outside so we knew we had to stop! These ice cream bars have so many unique flavors varying from fruit to that tea, viet coffee, and more! We ordered one fruit and one sweet and both were delicious. The fruit has a tangier side and the viet coffee was super creamy. This is a perfect spot for a quick stop for desserts! read more

I have seen and admired Pete's pops from afar for a while since I moved to Milwaukee and finally got to try them, thanks to Rileys Sandwich Shop in Shorewood. I got pup ice-creams for my dog Cooper and my friends dog Sophie. They both absolutely LOVED it! Their pup ice-cream has PB and pumpkin and is very well made (according to the pooch experts! ). Sophie is a picky eater because she is 13 years old but as soon as the pup ice-cream cup cracked opened , she got excited and lapped it up in seconds. Cooper loved it too, he kept licking the container hours later after it was all over. 100% recommend Pete's pops - for humans and pups read more

Pete's Pops is such a cute little pop-up shop that I cannot stop raving about to all my friends! While there isn't many surrounding business nearby it can be easily overlooked, but I can assure you will be missing out on some flavorful pops! I have been here a couples times and have tried their strawberry-lemonde, avacado and horchata pops. Once you order your pops from the window, you can hang out around the shop because it is shaped like an outdoor bar. read more

I love popsicles! The first time I had Pete's Pops was at a Married in Milwaukee event. They have a really cute cart with a rainbow umbrella attached to it. Their popsicles are refreshing and taste incredible! I know they recently opened their shop, but I haven't been able to check it out yet. I have had them at a number of weddings and at a few markets around Milwaukee this summer. Look for the cute cart with the umbrella and try some of my favorites! I love Peaches 'N Cream, Blackberry Ginger, and Sour Cherry. So happy to have Pete's Pops here. read more

The place: Pete's Pops is an iridescent facade with a walk-up counter. There are open windows where you can see the popsicles getting made and people puttering around. The location: On Vliet, there's plenty of street parking available. I pulled right up in front and I don't think there were any parking restrictions. If there are, there's plentiful parking on the side streets. It's easy to walk up to the place, so worth taking a stroll. The service: I ordered a 10-pack online. The portal was easy to navigate and it allowed me to pick 10 different flavors for maximum variety! I was able to schedule a pick-up time that fit into my schedule. When I pulled up, I intercepted the person working outside the shop. I asked if he was Pete's Pops and he gave me clear directions up to the window. I gave him my name, he gave me my popsicles. Quick and courteous. The pops: Horchata - creamy with a little spice. Refreshing. Avocado - tastes like avocado (WOW) with a hint of lime. Did they blend an avocado and freeze it? Don't tell me, I want to dream. Blackberry mint - such an intense blackberry flavor. Delicious while also beautiful. Coffee and donuts - how does it taste like there's a donut in it?!?! Pineapple jalapeño - tart and spicy. I wish I'd had more than a taste. Next time: When I pick up my next 10-pack, I'm going to treat myself to a single pop for the drive home. read more

The epitome of summer...on a stick! Pete's got it down, I love seeing their cart with the colorful rainbow umbrella around town at various farmers markets and summer happenings and seeing what creative flavors are available. This year, I discovered they have a window at their production facility on Vliet Street and have been stocking up with their 10-pack (at a great value!) to enjoy throughout the week on hot summer days. I love buying this summer staple locally and love that the ingredients are made with fresh fruit! Super cool they offer vegan and dairy- free options too so everyone can enjoy! Here are my faves: Raspberry Lime - perfectly tart Apricot Ginger - so fresh, so bright, so summery Red Berry - classic all natural frozen goodness Peaches & Cream - duh Rhubarb Buttermilk - tart 'n creamy deliciousness Sour Cherry - not too sour, not too sweet, the Goldilocks of popsicle Coconut Lime - tropical, creamy paradise Lemon Poppyseed - creamy tart lemon dessert on a stick Georgia Peach - bite into a frozen juicy peach! Key Lime Pie - best key lime pie I've ever had! My son loves the Avocado, Horchata, Birthday Cake, Golden Milk and Arnold Palmer. I don't remember flavors I tried in years past but they were all good. There are a few that aren't my cup of tea but that's personal preference--none of the flavors are duds. There's just plenty of options that might appeal to all sorts of taste buds: Coconut Cold Brew, Coffee 'n Donuts, Salted Watermelon (although the look in my son's face when he ate this one was well worth it), Thai Tea, Blueberry Basil (tasty, but not sure how I feel about all the bits of basil in my mouth!), Fudgsicle (a bit chalky for me), Blackberry Banana (pretty tasty, just didn't make my fave list), Blue Moon (this one was herbal-esque and interesting), Pineapple Jalapeño, Sweet Pea Lemonade (pretty good, especially if you like snap peas!) Game on, Pete's Pops!! We were referred by a neighbor who bought our boys some of your pops the other day. From their reactions I knew this was going to be the place my boys demand for their treats. I ordered 10 pops, one of each kind my boys wanted and I/they were not let down. Love the vibe, love the fresh tastes, keeping it creative and simple never tasted so good! My personal favorite is now the Thai Tea, my boys would suggest the Strawberry Lemonade and the "Cake Pop/Confetti" concoction you gave them. Thanks again for being awesome. read more

Pete's Pops began as a fun idea and a commitment to start a side project. Pete just wanted to be a "chill pop dude" (his words) and make and sell interesting ice pops--the first company tagline--out of a pushcart during Milwaukee summers. Things are a bit different now; we've got a whole bunch of carts roaming Wisconsin, a permanent production facility, and a shiny storefront located on Vliet Street in Milwaukee. Our purpose is to bring pops n' positivity everywhere we go. If you see our carts around town, see us at your event, or drive past a giant yellow popsicle sign on Vliet Street, please stop and try a pop.
