Just got off a river cruise and wasn't sure what to do with my time. As I shuffled back to my car with my Land Legs™, I saw this place across the street. Unsure what the gimmick was, but also very aware of what cookies are, I wandered in. Immediately I was in love. I wanted to live there. The inside was simple. Seating along the wall. They sold cookies, ice cream, and maybe brownies. Not sure. First thing that caught my eye was the cooler labeled "milk" and "not milk." Now listen. I need milk like it's oxygen. I get cranky if I don't get at least two glasses a day. I order it at restaurants sometimes, and NOT sarcastically. The only thing I've found that pairs well with a tall, cold glass of milk, is a second, tall, cold glass of milk. So right away I go to the counter. The lady was super nice and informed me these cookies weren't going to keep me awake all night. I began to order the double chocolate chip cookie UNTIL I saw a TRIPLE chocolate chip cookie. Called an audible, got the triple choccy chip and a milk. 2% because I don't like to chew my milk. This cookie came out warm as the day it was born. It was soft in the middle and crunchy on the edges. These are the cookies people write epics about. Cookie by Homer 10/10. The milk? It was as if she reached into the heart of an iceberg and pulled out a single milk, like King Arthur and the Sword in the Stone. It was crisp from start to finish. Horrible! We walked in on a Sunday afternoon and were not greeted. An employee was sitting at a table in the front of the store just staring off into space, obviously on a break. The others were in the back and it took a good three minutes to come to help us. We ordered three cookies and the guy rang me up before he got the cookies, comes back from the back and says they're out of one cookie and to order another because I already paid for it. Five-star-flavor. You get the ooey-gooey cookie freshness every time, and they truly do melt in your mouth. It was my first time in this (new'ish) location on Third Street. Parking is never a good time in this area but I managed to snag a spot two blocks down. The storefront itself is large and open, but is currently only offering cookies to-go. The customer service was a bit of a bummer, similar to what I've experienced in other locations in the past. Their POS (ordering system) was down, which isn't their fault, but that information was not at all clearly relayed to me or other customers in the shop who were standing around a little confused. In the end, I ordered and paid via my phone. Sadly they were out of two cookie flavors I was after, but the deliciousness of the other's in my order made up for it. Ordering from the 'classic cookie' menu, I ended up with cookies 'n' cream, double chocolate chunk, the classic chocolate chip, and white chocolate macadamia. My husband and I shared them all, and I'd have to say my fave was the ladder, a coconut-y cookie with bits of macadamia nut and creamy white chocolate chips. It was so smooth and buttery! Personally, I think these cookies are a bit overpriced, but I guess that doesn't stop people from ordering them for delivery when they have a 1am craving. You can order cookies in boxes or packs for larger parties, and they also offer ice cream, ice cream sandwiches, and cakes. Go get that sugar fix! read more

I mention this as many reviews are specific to their delivery services! Menu board was easy to read, and I landed on a 24 pack of mini cookies ($11, which I think is a really good value). I was informed that they would take about 10 min to bake, but I was fine with the wait and had a chat with my coworker. He ordered a 10-pack of regular, which were in the warmer and ready to go. The only flavor they were out of was the sugar cookie, but who gets that flavor anyways?! It took right about 10 min, and cookies were warm and smelled amazing! No complaints from any of my coworkers who received them either! Classic chocolate chip was the reigning champion. My only comment would be that my coworker got his cookies nicely arranged in his box, and mine were literally tossed in, but I do believe that's why I got 29 cookies instead of 24 :) Slid right of the baking tray?! My brother and I went to this location after our early lunch on Friday, December 4 around 2-3p. This was our first time at Insomnia and we were excited to go because we love freshly baked cookies. We tried the chocolate chunk cookies and chocolate chip with M&Ms which were all delicious and the size of the cookies were wonderful. Also a tip is to sign up for their email list to get special promotions for packages and and or free cookies offers. When ordering delivery they shorted us two cookies. This wouldn't be a big deal if the cookies weren't 3$ a piece. This location is AWFUL. Two hours for a 6 pack of gluten free cookies to be delivered .5 mile... and what arrived is not gluten free. Food allergies are not a joke but they don't care. After placing my delivery order online, I proceeded to have the most frustrating and awful experience imaginable. My order was placed at 8:45. It wasn't acknowledged by the restaurant until 9:15 and was not delivered until 11:15. Did they have to call in workers from their couches because they ACTUALLY received an order? I tried to go at 2:30am once, the doors were locked and the girls inside were sitting on the floor behind the counter on their phones! Whatever, maybe they had to close early that night. Tonight I came at 10pm, WELL BEFORE they're supposed to close. I drive up and the door is literally open with two employees fidling with the lock? I try to walk in and they stop me and say "Mam we're closed" seriously? Closed at 10pm with multiple people inside? And to top it off they let in a doordasher right in front of me. Nothing on the website or on the building indicates delivery only so I've determined that they have hired lazy teenagers who only want to dick around on their phones and will only do an order if its made online because then they have to.
