    Baby key lime pie
    Beth A.

The smells of this bakery is like bringing bees to honey - we followed the smells of baked goods and chocolate from the entrance of the Milwaukee Public Market and got the Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie and a baby key lime pie. Everything was so delicious! Although there was a line it moved quickly.

Carrot is always sold out so make sure to get there early at 11:00 AM. The chocolate is also very popular. $5.25 a slice. It is indulgent and made my tummy happy. The cake is not too sweet and moist.

    Mousse cake

The mousse cake was very moist snd the mousse itself was fluffy and light. It wasn't overly rich. I wish there would have been more cake in the middle (it dips down un the middle for the mousse) but everyone's cake to cover mousse/frosting is different. The line went by quickly but it was confusing if you went to the register to order of just asked the person and met them didnt there. The workers were very nice though and I enjoyed their service. Everything was displayed nicely and everything looked fresh.

I was just commenting to someone the other day how much I would like some carrot cake. We were at the Milwaukee Public Market today and as we walked by the C Adam Bakery my eye was caught by the towering many-tiered carrot cake. We bought a slice of cake and some assorted cupcakes. The salad plate-sized cookies looked very tempting as well. The carrot cake was one of the best I've had. Four tiers of moist cake with carrots, plump raisins, and maybe zucchini with fluffy cream cheese frosting with chopped pecans. It was moist and delicious and just about perfect.

Really enjoyed my cookie treats that I got from this bakery while visiting the third ward public market and definitely looking forward to returning to try other things on the menu.

Very nice spot in the Milwaukee Public Market! I always make sure to stop by to check out what new cupcake flavors they have. Got a mini key lime pie & mexican hot chocolate (I think?) cupcake last time we went, but unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy the key lime pie and found the cupcake to be good but slightly too sweet. Overall though, I've enjoyed their sweets (esp their cupcakes) and would recommend trying them if you visit the public market.

Picked out an oatmeal chocolate chunk cookie for dessert. It was huge. Nice and chewy. It's a great sweet to share. Milwaukee Public Market has lots of seating, but we took our cookie and checked out the architecture of the art museum, a view of the lake, and a great mural of Giannis.

Just YUM! Love to swing by C. Adams bakery in the Milwaukee Public Market for a treat after dinner downtown. Their cookies and cupcakes are absolutely delicious and they have the best icing - tastes light, but sweet. My husband and I chose this bakery a few years ago to bake our wedding cake and cupcakes as well - all were to die for. Employees are always kind and ready to help you pick what you want. Love their location in the public market, such a cute vibe. I believe they also own Black Twig bakery in Wauwatosa - two locations to get some of the best treats in Milwaukee!

    Variety pack of macaroons

THESE MACAROONS!!! They are a little larger than average macaroons, but still are baked PERFECTLY! You won't be disappointed. Workers are so friendly. It's located in the Milwaukee public market, which is busy and bustling. Their little shop takes out out of the craziness of the market for a moment. Enjoy your trip!

If you do nothing else in the market, TRY THEIR CUPCAKES!! On a very serious note I visited this bakery 3 times during my visit. From someone who loves to try new things while traveling that is impressive! I tried their macarons, cookies, and cupcakes. Although they were all good the cupcakes stole the show. They managed to be light and fluffy while still being flavor packed. It was perfection. I would wait in a very long line just to get my hands on one of their pistachio cupcakes again. I often think about it and mourn the fact I don't live here. When you go just be brave and get one of each cupcake, I don't like chocolate cake but liked theirs. It's serious that good. Like Pokémon, you should collect them all.

    Vanilla Bean Cupcake, Carrot Cupcake

I could not resist these cupcakes when I passed by them at the public market omg! I ended up trying 4 flavors with a friend sooooo here's my ranking: 1. Cookie Butter - (1000/10) if you like cookie butter even a little bit or have never tried it you are missing out! The cake was perfectly moist and the cream was sooo smooth and buttery. I loved every bit of it. 2. Vanilla Bean - I'm a vanilla over chocolate girl so take this with a grain of salt. I really really loved this cupcake I thought it was just the right amount of sweetness (and once again moist cake and smooth toppings) 3. Carrot - pretty standard carrot cake! I thought the frosting on this one was a little runny but the cake itself was good and had visible pieces of carrot if you're into that 4. Red Velvet - also pretty standard red velvet but nothing special here. The frosting on this one was kinda tough maybe cuz it was in the fridge the longest but the cake was overall just ok The staff here were super nice and the prices are all very reasonable ($3/cupcake). I'll have to try their giant cookies next time!

And the Yelp reviews and pics were right on target. I wanted to get so much more, but I was ready to bust a gut (meaning my stomach was filled to 100%). So I settled on a mini cassata cake which had hints of lemon, it was really sweet and gooey which I happen to like by the way. I also selected a mini Boston cream cake and the outer chocolate was a bit too thick and as a result, the cake itself got smushed as I tried to cut into it. I still ate it and it was good tasting nonetheless. Finally, it was my first time being here and I thought the lady could a been a wee bit more friendly. I mean, it was not that busy and if you turn on a little charm, people tend to buy more. At least I do, I'm a sucker around friendly and kind people. All in all, I will be back because the mini cakes were good.

They had a variety of baked goods to choose from- we opted for the cinnamon roll and the seasonal danish. We also ordered a cappuccino and an americano. The baked goods we had were okay. We were disappointed they wouldn't heat up the cinnamon roll, the reason they gave us was because the frosting would run and be messy. So the cinnamon roll wasn't very enjoyable. I liked the filling on the seasonal danish but I asked for it heated up and it was served at room temp. The coffee was good- we both thought it was weak for our liking but it had good flavor. Also to note, this place is very family-friendly. When we were in, there were a lot of children and families enjoying the space. I would love to come back and try the monkey bread; they were sold out when we arrived this morning and we were told it's a top-seller.
