I LOVE C Adam's bakery. They've been in the MPM as long as I've been alive. Their cookie dough cake jar is to die for. Their brownies are always delicious, too. They are reasonably priced, especially in this era of expensive pastries. Service is always very friendly!! read more

Super cute and yummy shop with gigantic cookies, macaroons, cupcakes and more delectable dessert options. We got cupcakes as a gift but also snuck a chocolate cherry cola one for ourselves and it was amazing! I love places with variety and unique flavor combos, this place fits so well within the vibe of the Milwaukee Public Market! read more

This is definitely one of the better bakeries on Milwaukee. My husband and I came because we wanted to do a gender reveal cake or cupcakes. The bakers were so nice to us and so easy to work with. We settled on the cupcakes (3 for $9-10). We got vanilla, cinnamon, and salted caramel. The turn around time for a custom order is 48 hours. The cupcakes were so cute and we were SHOCKED at how good they were. We enjoyed them so much more than we thought. We also picked up an apple cider cookie, a butter cookie, and a heath bar cookie. All 10 out of 10. We will be returning to try other goodies soon. read more

I love this bakery located in the Public Market. I've been here many of times and have tried various desserts from cupcakes, cakes, macarons, cake pops, and cheesecake! I have never been disappointed by a dessert but their cheesecake, cakes pops, and macarons are my favorite! The staff is always super friendly, quick, and welcoming. The display is big and lit so customers are able to see the different goodies and they have flavors that rotate so it isn't the same desserts every time. Very cute place! read more

Here to go on behalf of the banana cream sugar cookie (blows crumble out of the park), and banana bread sandwich cookie (like an oatmeal cream pie but better). I wasn't a fan of the apple pie cheesecake which took me by surprise, I think it would also help if the apples were cut up smaller v.s the sliced that are a bit large on a mini cheesecake where you want room on your spoon for both apple and cheesecake and I personally like crust and felt like it was lacking. Service was quick, it wasn't too busy in the Milwaukee public market but I would say it's not a big part of the experience. read more

C Adam's Bakery is the cookie dealer in the Milwaukee Public Market. This woman owned bakery has been pumping out treats since the market opened in 2005. Moderation isn't their strong suit. Their cookies are massive and somehow, they convince adults that dessert should absolutely come before lunch. So I got 3. The answer is yes. I don't care what nutritionists say. read more

The funfetti cookie sandwich is something I'd drive back to Milwaukee for. Two soft cookies with just the perfect amount of whipped cream between them. It's large yet easy to finish in one sitting. Located inside the Public Market, this is a must stop stall. The chocolate chunk cookie was also amazing. Large with a soft center but crispy edges. The brookis was my least favorite but still solids. Really dense brownie in the middle. It's thick. Staff was super friendly and offered their favs. It's grab and go. read more

I was just commenting to someone the other day how much I would like some carrot cake. We were at the Milwaukee Public Market today and as we walked by the C Adam Bakery my eye was caught by the towering many-tiered carrot cake. We bought a slice of cake and some assorted cupcakes. The salad plate-sized cookies looked very tempting as well. The carrot cake was one of the best I've had. Four tiers of moist cake with carrots, plump raisins, and maybe zucchini with fluffy cream cheese frosting with chopped pecans. It was moist and delicious and just about perfect. read more

C. Adam's Bakery is nestled in a cute little public market just off downtown Milwaukee's 3rd ward and within walking distance of Lake Michigan. Although there was a long line service was brisk and all the employees were so nice you'd have thought their shift just started. We had bought cookies, a cake jar, and macaroons. Everything was fresh and tasty. I like my icing a little more on the sweeter side than C Adams Bakery serves but it's still delicious. Go check 'em out for yourself when your Milwaukee! read more

The mousse cake was very moist snd the mousse itself was fluffy and light. It wasn't overly rich. I wish there would have been more cake in the middle (it dips down un the middle for the mousse) but everyone's cake to cover mousse/frosting is different. The line went by quickly but it was confusing if you went to the register to order of just asked the person and met them didnt there. The workers were very nice though and I enjoyed their service. Everything was displayed nicely and everything looked fresh. read more

WOW...was this bakery amazing or what! I visited the Milwaukee Public Market the other day while traveling through the city and stumbled upon C Adam's Bakery immediately upon entering. The extensive selection of cakes, cookies, macaroons, and other desserts available at VERY reasonable prices was impressive. My eye was immediately drawn to the carrot cake with cream cheese frosting and walnuts. This slice of cake was no wimpy slice, we are talking a massive slice of cake enough for 2 people to have their full at only $5.45 per slice. This was probably the most delicate, moist, fluffy, and soft carrot cake I have ever had, 10/10. Other offerings included seasonal treats like gingerbread men and peppermint chocolate cheesecake amongst others. I also got a gingerbread man cookie for the road. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and prompt when serving. There was a line of about 3 people when I went to the establishment and only waited about 2 minutes before placing my order. The baker who helped me was kind, knowledgeable, and very friendly. The business is very clean and presentable. The bakery is just a storefront and there are areas to sit and eat upstairs. If you happen to make your way to the Milwaukee Public Market, make sure you stop by and get something sweet at C Adam's...you won't regret it! read more

THESE MACAROONS!!! They are a little larger than average macaroons, but still are baked PERFECTLY! You won't be disappointed. Workers are so friendly. If you do nothing else in the market, TRY THEIR CUPCAKES!! On a very serious note I visited this bakery 3 times during my visit. From someone who loves to try new things while traveling that is impressive! I tried their macarons, cookies, and cupcakes. Although they were all good the cupcakes stole the show. They managed to be light and fluffy while still being flavor packed. It was perfection. I would wait in a very long line just to get my hands on one of their pistachio cupcakes again. I often think about it and mourn the fact I don't live here. When you go just be brave and get one of each cupcake, I don't like chocolate cake but liked theirs. It's serious that good. Like Pokémon, you should collect them all. read more

Very nice spot in the Milwaukee Public Market! I always make sure to stop by to check out what new cupcake flavors they have. Got a mini key lime pie & mexican hot chocolate (I think?) cupcake last time we went, but unfortunately, we didn't really enjoy the key lime pie and found the cupcake to be good but slightly too sweet. Overall though, I've enjoyed their sweets (esp their cupcakes) and would recommend trying them if you visit the public market. read more

I could not resist these cupcakes when I passed by them at the public market omg! I ended up trying 4 flavors with a friend sooooo here's my ranking: 1. Cookie Butter - (1000/10) if you like cookie butter even a little bit or have never tried it you are missing out! The cake was perfectly moist and the cream was sooo smooth and buttery. I loved every bit of it. 2. Vanilla Bean - I'm a vanilla over chocolate girl so take this with a grain of salt. I really really loved this cupcake I thought it was just the right amount of sweetness (and once again moist cake and smooth toppings) 3. Carrot - pretty standard carrot cake! I thought the frosting on this one was a little runny but the cake itself was good and had visible pieces of carrot if you're into that 4. Red Velvet - also pretty standard red velvet but nothing special here. The frosting on this one was kinda tough maybe cuz it was in the fridge the longest but the cake was overall just ok The staff here were super nice and the prices are all very reasonable ($3/cupcake). I'll have to try their giant cookies next time! read more

It was pretty impossible to walk past this bakery at the public market and not buy something.... Or a lot of things. The wide variety and cookies that were so bright and cutely decorated made us have to stop. We got a small pumpkin cheesecake as well as an assortment of cookies including shortbread, snickerdoodle, and animal cracker. The frosting to cookie ratio was bang on, and nothing was too sweet. The cheesecake was creamy and well spiced. This made for a great dessert back at our hotel room, and if we're in the neighborhood again we'll definitely be back for another cookie fix. The staff was also super friendly and helpful and asked us questions and told us their specialties. Highly recommend! read more

Just when I thought that I knew what a good cupcake or cookie was, I visited C Adam's Bakery and my life was turned upside down. The bakery case was full to the brim with every sweet delight you could think of with fresh-out-of-the-oven items on the racks right behind them. I was in heaven. Since I'm from Florida and came to Milwaukee to enjoy the autumn, I clearly had to try to the apple cupcake with salted caramel frosting. The frosting was magnificently creamy and flavorful - not too sweet, the cake was dense and moist, and the apple insides were the perfect bit of apple pie. Just the type of autumnal experience I was looking for. The kid in me also had to try the funfetti cookie sandwich. It was huge and more delicious than any other cookie sandwich I'd had before... the perfect amount of cream in the middle for a big kid like me! And finally, I asked for help choosing a third item. I was told that the vegan chocolate chip cookie was delicious, even for non-vegans. And that recommendation was spot on - it was one of the top chocolate chip cookies I've tasted in recent memory. So glad I came out to this gem of a bakery - there are so many other things to try (carrot cupcake!!! and macarons!!!!!) and enjoy! read more

Absolutely love this bakery! Their individual baked goods are always amazing. More recently I ordered a gender reveal cake. The service for this was very efficient. Wanted something small for dessert, so I decided to pick up a few things from here. They had a variety of different items that all looked delicious, but I decided to go with the tiramisu cake ball, raspberry cheesecake ball, and a tiramisu macaroon. All three items tasted amazing! I liked the fact that they weren't overly sugary and the shells on the cake balls were not too thick. I took off a star because the staff wasn't very friendly and there was no clear line to order. They just took orders based on which ever person made eye contact with them first. read more
