I don't eat sweets a whole lot but I have been wanting to try this place ever since they popped up in town. This one is in a strip mall and very small. You form a line and tell the employee what you want, pay and leave. I would try the carrot cake because it my all time favorite and a strawberry and creme Bundt cakes in the personal size. On my way home I bumped into my buildings employee and we always say hi and chit chat for a few and he said today was his birthday so I reached into my bag and I handed him the strawberry cake and said happy birthday here's a cake, his jaw hit the floor in amazement and the look on his face was priceless. I bumped into him the next day and he said the cake was delicious. My personal carrot cake was delicious and moist with sweet icing on top. At the $5 price point for the personal Bundt cake that was very good this place should be a big hit and I will have to go back for the strawberries and cream.

Very happy with the 12 pack of bundtlettes I picked up for a work event, a fun array of flavors in perfect little mini consumable Bundt cakes. Forgot just how great these little sweet treats are. The service was so helpful and kind, which was appreciated since I haven't been to a Nothing Bundt Cakes in quite a few years!

First time here. I was originally planning to drive to Brady Street and visit Sciortino's, but then…read moreI came across Scordato's. I'm glad I did. Food: I found all the classic Italian bakery treats I was hoping for, including cannolis, cream horns, and an assortment of cookies. Rather than trying to decide, I asked the person behind the counter to put together a selection for me. I mean, how can you go wrong? It's all good! Service: There were a few people ahead of me, but it didn't take long to reach the counter. The person helping me was pleasant, although not much for small talk. The entire visit took no more than five minutes. Easy breezy! Atmosphere: The storefront features large windows that let you see inside before you even walk in. They also bring in plenty of natural light, making it easy to browse all of the bakery items. The display cases were well organized and easy to navigate, so it was simple to get a good look at everything. After getting home and sampling my assortment, I realized I don't always have to drive downtown to Milwaukee to satisfy my Italian bakery cravings.

Best Italian bakery around!…read more Everyone is always so friendly when I visit and their food is always delicious! 1) The wall of cookies is like no where else. They are excellent and I can never leave without getting at least a small container (you know as a snack for the ride home haha). They are always sooo fresh. I've tried most of them and they are all excellent. 2) The hot ham and rolls on Sunday are hard to beat. Their super thin sliced ham is so flavorful and their rolls are so fresh. 3) If you have not had sfincione yet just get some (if it's there- it sells out quick). Sicilian-style pizza and you'll thank me later

Coffee is now ubiquitous with daily life in America, which brings me to Qamaria Coffee. Hatem and Munif are two Yemeni entrepreneurs with a passion for Yemeni Coffee and the joint goal of wanting to share it with the world. They founded Qamaria Coffee in 2019 to accomplish this task and in January 2024, they opened a location near Milwaukee in Greenfield, WI. Qamaria offers a variety of dessert options, including a Chocolate Tres Leches, Pistachio Tres Leches, and Caramel Tres Leches cakes. I went with the caramel version, which is described by the cafe as "A decadent caramel treat inspired by tres leches cake, creamy, sweet, and irresistibly smooth". If you've never had Tres Leches Cake, it's a light sponge cake soaked in three types of milk (evaporated, condensed, and whole) that's popular in Latin America. The cake originated in Nicaragua during the 19th century, so on first glance it's not exactly a Yemeni dessert. Doing some research, Middle Eastern variations exist that feature cardamom or rose water and some Qamaria locations do have a Rose Tres Leches. It's fine that the Greenfield location did not have that variety as I honestly would have got the caramel version anyway. My slice was perfectly moist as there was plenty of milk soaked in, but not so much that it made a mess or compromised the structure of the cake. The bottom layer was soft and Tiramisu-like in texture, while the cream on top was rich and thick. Personally, I found the caramel flavor to be mild, but delicious. As it is served chilled, it paired nicely with a hot cup of coffee (which they have a plethora of options to choose from). Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews

The Glazed Croissant Donut is the standout item for me. The Cinnamon Snails run a close second and are worth picking up if you have the restraint to not stop at one item. The coffee caught me off guard in the best way. A 20oz Caramel Vanilla Cappuccino with oat milk rang up at $5.29. That price point is notable, and it delivered. Service moves quickly and the staff is friendly. One thing that stood out on the way out was the recognition displayed on the exterior of the service counter for employee years of service. It is a small detail that says something about how the business operates.

After doing a little research, I've learned that sadly, Kringles are not widely spread throughout the U.S. Did you know Kringle is the official state pastry of my home, Wisconsin? It turns out that Racine, WI is actually the epicenter for Kringles. Racine's O&H Danish Bakery opened in 1949 and has been family owned for four generations. The almond kringle is one of their more traditional/basic flavors, but it is still impressively delicious. I was pleased with the amount of filling O&H crams into the pastry. It's got a nutty flavor that is so sweet, it almost seems fruity. Texturally, the filling has a creamy aspect to it, but it's also rather dense. The body of the kringle has hints of butter and like the filling, is thick and dense. Additionally, it has a flaky and pleasantly chewy texture. Lastly, the kringle is topped with a thick layer of icing. Usually O&H is pretty consistent, but as you can see from the pics, some portions of the kringle had a really thin amount of icing compared to others. Regardless, it was still another superb Kringle from O&H. Doughboy approved Doughboy_Food_Reviews * Only minor complaint is the size/price as I wished they also offered a smaller version of their Kringles or half kringles or even individual slices. My Top Kringles: 1. Pumpkin Caramel (limited time from O&H Bakery) 2. Eggnog (limited time from O&H Bakery) 3. Cheesecake (Racine Danish Kringles) 4. Sea Salt & Caramel (Racine Danish Kringles) 5. Sea Salt Caramel Pecan (Uncle Mike's)
