Breakfast on a biscuit

Full restaurant when we arrived at 1 pm on a Sunday. We were sat within 10 minutes (2 people). Staff was very friendly and charismatic, our server checked in on us an adequate amount and the other two servers did little check ins as they were walking around. Our coffees and waters never emptied. We got breakfast on a biscuit and the champion skillet. Both meals were delicious and seasoned well, although both of our hash browns came fairly cold and mushy (I requested extra crispy). Side of bacon was cooked perfectly and they had a very thick cut of meat. If the hash browns were good it would've been a perfect 5/5

Whoooooweeeeeeee!!

What a cozy little spot! Bustling atmosphere inside, don't be surprised if there's a wait, even on a weekday! That being said they turn over table very quickly. Excellent service from start to finish, both friendly and communicative. South of the Border Omelette was top notch, Juevos rancheros were a thing of beauty and the Mexican skillet was an absolute behemoth of savory goodness. Also, saw someone on a different review complain about the coffee. Couldn't disagree more. Stronger than a double shot at a dive bar but I like it that way.

Classic egg breakfast

When stepping into Pete's Egg Nest it certainly brings a cozy nest feeling. The ambiance is certainly my favorite aspect apart from the service. Martha was an amazing server. Her and her coworker worked very well together, smoothly accommodating everyone at each of the 15 tables full of customers. Including me and three other people at the bar. If you are looking for a quick classic diner experience this is the place to be! The only downside was the biscuit was not as good as I expected, but you can't have it all. Highly recommend the crepes!

Solid traditional diner! Got their Swedish pancakes and Italian sausage omelette, both were delicious. They are very quick to refill your coffee, which I always appreciate. Street parking might sometimes be tough but I usually find something, even on weekends. Overall I'd definitely come back!

2 eggs scrambled, fresh fruit, biscuit with jam

Great Place! We love stopping here when we visit Seattle. The menu is large enough to appeal to many tastes, but not too large to not be able to do all the items well. The homemade raspberry jam was a nice touch on the biscuit, and if you're a fresh fruit eater, it's actually fresh! Definitely worth the stop!

This place is amazing. It's kind of like a nice home feeling where everybody is super friendly and very nice. The food is fantastic. The service is amazing above and beyond and I really recommend this to anybody that comes. I am close to some pictures of what Pete's eggs nest looks like and believe me you will not be disappointed if you come dine here..

Kielbasa scramble

Super warm and cozy brunch spot. We came for Sunday brunch and waited about 20 min for a seat. This is basically the same place as the egg and us in Ballard, which I've also been to, but this place is smaller. I ordered a kielbasa scramble off their specials menu and it was pretty good. It wasn't mind blowing haha but if you're craving some simple breakfast foods, this place got you. Service is friendly and quick. Would visit again, but not this location just because it's small and would have a longer wait.

Cornbeef hash with hashbrowns, scrambled eggs and biscuits

Visited this little restaurant to get some breakfast before my flight out of Seattle. They have a small dining area, very welcoming. The waitresses greeted us as we came in. Looked at the menu which they did have a lot of pork products but they did have turkey sausage, beef sausage too. I ordered the corned beef hash, and I have to say, The best part of that dish was the hashbrowns and oh my gosh their biscuits are yummy. Really enjoyed the biscuits. The eggs were cooked the way I wanted them. I really didn't enjoy the corned beef hash, I've had better. Their menu is a little too pricey to me, corn beef hash breakfast that was like $20. I spent a little over $20 and my husband was thinking about getting a cheeseburger but the cheeseburger, I can't remember it was either like between $15-$16. Like $16 for a cheeseburger was diabolical, so he declined. I really wanted some eggs so we decided to eat here.

Classic breakfast, egg scramble, pancake.

This felt like a cozy homecooked meal. We enjoyed our breakfast from the traditional eggs with toast, I had the egg scramble, pancakes. Very good.

Mexican breakfast

We got there around 1 on a Saturday and it wasn't too crowded. The pancakes were nice and fluffy! The Mexican breakfast was ok. And the Guadalajara chiliquiles was good! Service was pretty fast too. It definitely had a cozy feel!

We went on a cruise to Alaska and our port was in Seattle. Before embarking, I took the time to…read morevisit one of the area's Catholic churches. Just across from the church, a lengthy queue of folks stood outside a dining establishment. We didn't know what kind of restaurant it was until we noticed the Filipino Christmas lantern/"parol" hanging on the window. After a week of cruising, we made it our goal to eat at this restaurant. Since we docked early in the morning and the restaurant opens at 7am, we did not wait that long outside around 8am. There were only less than 10 people in line. We only waited less than 15 minutes. There were at least 20 people outside by the time we left before 9am. The interior Filipino household-themed decoration brought back so many memories. White Chicken Adobo Silog | Never heard of this type of "silog" before. Silog is a Filipino dish combination consists of fried rice ("SInangag") and egg ("itLOG"). I got so excited to try it since it's one of the weekly specials' menu items. I was debating between this and Salmon Silog, but I've also never tried white chicken adobo. The chicken was succulent and tender, allowing it to flake off effortlessly with a fork. The generous helping of garlic fried rice was heavenly. Couldn't ask anything more from this dish. Turon | The wrapper were coated with almost like spun sugar instead of being fried in sugar, which made this turon not overly sweet. The plantain that was completed well with halaya filling was soft and cooked well. Menu: In addition to various protein/silog meals, there were also pancakes and omelettes. Service: Eating at this restaurant feels like home. The cashier and service were nice and friendly. We were also attended by Tito Greg the owner of the restaurant. He roamed the dining area, greeting each guest with humor and genuine humility. Parking: There's a big garage by Pike's, unsure how much parking rate was at the time. Since we just came back from the cruise port, we just from there to the restaurant. Highly Recommend!

I waited about 30 mins which was not bad at all considered the day it was. The was kind, friendly and so sweet! I wish I would have gotten her name. Now onto the food, starting off with the latte. It was your typical average latte. I did like how strong it was and it came with a kitty paw! (Barista said he was inspired by his cats that morning lol). I tried both sweet and savory dutch babies, and even though I'm a savory person, I liked the sweet one better. It was creamy and bread was soft! The fruits added the perfect texture and sweetness to it. The savory was okay, keep in mind this is also my first time trying a dutch baby, but I would have liked it to have more veggies maybe? I think I was expecting more of it but it was mid to me. The breakfast plate wasn't anything out of the ordinary. Just your basic breakfast plate. The place is super cute and a bit small! It was a sunny morning so we had a lot of light coming through which I loved!

They had an amazing selection of pastries, though I didn't try any. I got their Caramelized Banana Latte to satisfy my sweet tooth, and it wasn't too banana-flavored nor too sweet; the black sesame in it balanced it nicely. I also got the Urban Pesto, which was SO yum. I was little skeptical of the focaccia - sometimes I find it to be too puffy, and thus hard to eat the sandwich - but this had a lovely panini press on it that made it easy to eat. The in-house herby cheese in the sandwich made each bite just that much more delicious. The staff was also super nice and accommodating to my parents' requests and questions. Can't wait to come back to try their other food and bev options!

It was quite busy which we anticipated, so I would highly recommend making a reservation. We were seated right away with our reservation time, but it did take some time to be served. I enjoyed the hot coffee with a bit of cream. It was good; my only comment is that I wasn't offered a refill at any point, and we were there for over an hour. To be fair, it was SUPER busy; like at least 100 people in the dining room. I had one of their seasonal specials, the peaches and cream Swedish pancakes. It was a generous portion included with a trip to the berry bar. The berry bar was very fresh and well maintained as far as cleanliness. It was also in a prime location, near the tables but not too close and not in the way of the walking path. The peaches were juicy and sweet and the cream cheese frosting was a decadent topping. I added some berries which made it extra special. I liked the caramel shards, but they were a little on the thick side for my liking and were a bit tough to eat. However, I really enjoyed the dish overall! I also got a side of peppered bacon which was well-cooked, crispy, and extra peppery. My friend got the classic French toast and a side of potatoes. She loved the French toast with the included berry bar trip! However, the potatoes were cut into HUGE pieces which were difficult to eat even though they were cooked through. I would definitely come back here! If you're looking for a popular brunch spot with delicious sweet brunch options, check on Portage Bay Cafe SLU!

For the price, the quality and execution were not acceptable. We used to enjoy coming here, but unfortunately, this visit was a significant letdown.
