Steak, eggs and spuds. Green chili.

We probably won't be returning based on the quality of food. Our waitress was phenomenal! My husband ordered an omelette and he enjoyed it. I ordered a rare steak, eggs and extra crispy spuds. At first, i was impressed with the size of the steak- probably 9-10 oz! Then, I wondered if the steak was cooked because it was purple and cold. It also tasted old. The potatoes were good and yes, you can mess them up. Green chili is decent; but I'm really picky there. The atmosphere was nice; clean, and welcoming. If we return, it won't be for the steak.

We enjoyed our breakfast at Pete's Café not too long ago. All the front inn ladies were very nice, friendly, dressed well and clean. We noticed, as we were waiting for our breakfast to come that there were plants growing up on the ceiling, which is very cool because it was so nice and fresh in there. Our food was excellent. We had a good time being there. Hope you all get a chance to check it out Thanks For The Read Until Next Time.....

Pete's cafe is a neighborhood restaurant that's been here for a very long time. Pete's has a following for sure, and during weekends, expect a wait. Wait shouldn't be too long though. Pete's menu is mainly brunch diner dishes, with some mediterranean dishes thrown in. So far I have only tried dishes in their breakfast menu but their other dishes also look good. We ordered the Pete's omelette and the Pete's skillet. Nothing great that really stood out from these dishes. Both were kinda dry. Adding ketchup to mine fixed that. The pancake was bland but dousing syrup on it fixed that. Our server was really nice. Extra cups of coffee came around a lot. Our food took a while to come out, which a little bit of a surprise. I think it was because our server forgot what we ordered at first and she had to come back and confirm our order again. Overall our experience at Pete's was okay. I don't crave diner food often and when I do there are many options around the area. One this I will say is that the prices at Pete's are more reasonable which is always something to consider.

Everyone is super friendly, and we loved the food. It's a diner, for sure- with the spider plant climbing the ceilings and the old school booths. But it is GOOD diner food. We came in twice this week- the first time we had the chicken fried steak and the Colorado burrito, both of which were eye poppingly good. We like their biscuits and gravy and their French toast, but they were just basic in comparison to the CFS and the burrito. Highly, highly recommend the chicken fried steak and the Colorado burrito. The burrito had huge chunks of steak, and so much flavor. The home fries are interesting- similar to fried scalloped potatoes. We will be back for sure.

Absolutely in love with Pete's Cafe. The food, the staff, the cafe itself - all of it. I don't think my review will give this spot the praise it deserves because it's too awesome to full explain. A friend recommended Pete's Cafe because they have a Greek twist on breakfast. We are big Greek food fans, so we thought we'd give it a try. I will likely be here every weekend now. My husband got the gyro and eggs. the meat was so tender and juicy and the eggs were fried perfectly. The homefries were fabulously crispy and the homemade tzatziki sauce were unreal. I ordered the biscuits and gravy, and those biscuits were so fluffy. I think I will try adding some meat next time, but I stole some of husband gyro meat and it was perfect. I also added on a pancake and I was sooooo glad I did. The portions are great and the coffee is made fresh. The staff are some of the friendliest people around. It felt cozy and welcoming hanging out at the high top seats by the kitchen. The staff is on top of their game and crank out food fast without skipping on the quality. Our coffees were constantly refilled and it was great to chat and learn more about the cafe while we ate. I wish I could give Pete's Cafe more stars. Already thinking about my next breakfast.

Service was extra slow today but the meal made up for it. Many, many regulars patronize this restaurant. My breakfast was perfect, zero complaints.

One of the best "hole in the walls" in town!! It's a very small space (10-12 tables/booths) but the service is great and friendly. It's like you're eating at your Auntie's house. And the food is delicious! It's definitely my new spot for breakfast!!

The inside was your expected brunch place in Denver expect it was packed with all the awards they won for their food and it's no wonder why. I was on my way to Boulder and found this place on the route and glad I popped in because it was spectacular! So many in-home made items on the menu that when the server was going over them I quickly figured out I couldn't try them all as nearly everything was! Only thing we forgot to ask was what coffee they served because we loved it!

The atmosphere is another highlight calm , cozy, and inviting with the feel of a comfortable home-style breakfast setting. For our meal I ordered the chicken fried chicken with gravy, scrambled eggs and potatoes while my spouse had a BLT with potatoes. The scrambled eggs and potatoes were well prepared and enjoyable and my spouse was satisfied with their dish except how her lettuce and tomatoes were soggy. Unfortunately the chicken fried chicken was undercooked. At the time I didn't immediately realize this as the texture seemed soft due to the gravy. It wasn't until later that I recognized the issue and I ended up feeling unwell after the meal. This was very disappointing and ultimately impacted my overall experience. While the service and ambiance were strong positives the food safety concern is significant. I hope the restaurant takes extra care in the kitchen moving forward.

Doug's Diner - Thornton - Cross-section of the Black Betty burger. I did add Bacon, which was chopped-up and easily bit through. Nice touch.

The food here is so good, and the staff is even more amazing. It's very homely, not a big chain and it definitely shows. Everyone is so nice, smiles all around and it's an all around feel good place. They have the breakfast staples but also some specials that are creative and delicious! We've had nutella crepes, chicken fried steak, breakfast burrito (which is massive!) and a special of the day - strawberry cheesecake waffle. All the ingredients come together perfectly and melts in your mouth! The one thing you HAVE to get is the cinnamon roll. Eat it while it's hot and gooey, you won't regret it! Next time I'm going to get the Salted Caramel Cinnamon roll. On Friday and Saturday they are open until 8 pm so you can enjoy them if you're unable to make it during the lunch hours!

Excellent service and delicious food!…read moreWe went out for a family meal today and we were quite a large group. Even though the restaurant was a little busy and our server Angel, had his hands full, he never stopped giving us the best service with a great attitude. He was attentive to every detail and made sure we had everything we needed the entire time. Everyone loved the food, and the overall service was outstanding. Huge thanks to Angel for making our family meal such a wonderful experience! We will definitely be back.

I haven't been to a Snooze in a very long time and wanted to take my father somewhere nice. It was…read morea Friday at roughly noon. The place was hopping as they usually are. We waited maybe about ten minutes before receiving the text that our table was ready. The place was loud with all the conversations at the various tables and then the music on top of it made it hard to hear the person next to you. The server was pretty disappointing and M.I.A. most of the time. Didn't offer to refill our water, only refilled my father's coffee once, and we had to ask for items. The table next to us, with the same server, asked for silverware, but the server never came back so they had to ask someone else. The server spent a lot of time up at the bar hanging out with the other employees and wasn't particularly friendly with the patrons. In addition when the runner brought out the food, his wording sounded like he was delivering the wrong food which created a miscommunication and he got miffed, lost his patience and left requiring the server to come back and sort it out. It ended up that everything was fine but didn't really appreciate the attitude when trying to understand what he was saying. I order a latte and they burned the milk making it bitter and barely drinkable. I order the Protein Trio Omelette with a pancake instead of the toast. Which is an extra fee. The omelette was good and not over cooked like many restaurants do. The proportions were huge, so much so that I had a whole meal for leftovers. The omelette came with a nice pile of hashbrowns. The pancake was okay but I felt like the maple syrup was false advertising. The menu says its real Vermont maple syrup but it taste like regular diner syrup. Overall it wasn't bad and I would go back, although it's a bit pricey and the staff isn't all that friendly.
