Peter Pan recently reopened after a fire took out the old location in 2024. Walking into a brand-new version of a place that's been around for generations is a little strange, but the rebuilt space holds onto the diner's identity well enough. Food 4/5 We ordered an omelette and basic eggs. Both came out well, not overcooked, not swimming in grease. Nothing on the plate is going to end up in a food magazine, but solid comfort food. No digestion issues. Service 4/5 I ordered the wrong thing by mistake and they fixed it quickly without any fuss. The waitress came by once for follow up. Ambiance 4/5 Modern lighting, nostalgic photos on the walls. You can still tell this place has some history behind it, even if the walls are new. Cleanliness 5/5 Brand new construction, so a 5 here is the starting point, not an achievement. Still, it was clean. Bathroom didn't look like it was remodeled (at least not the floor.) No issues though. Passed the inconspicuous location dirt test. Parking 2/5 There's a lot, but it's on the small side. At busy times it can be difficult to park there and the parking lot becomes a maze of cars squeezed in all over. Value 4/5 Supposedly any meal before 3 PM comes with pancakes. Ours didn't. I wasn't planning to eat them anyway so I let it go, but worth knowing if you were counting on that. Portions are fair for what you pay. Overall 4/5 Peter Pan is back. The food is what it should be, the service works, and the space is comfortable without overdoing it. I'll be back.

Peter Pan Diner alleged Tom Turkey wrap

Extremely disappointed after two visits. The first time my burger medium came out raw, but it was opening weekend and you expect a few mixups, on the second visit the tom turkey wrap bore no resemblance to what was normal pre fire. I was served a salad wrap with a turkey cameo. The food is nothing like it was before the fire. The staff seems like this is their first job and the remodel is insane. It is loud, adding a bar in a place that closes at 10 pm is a waste and adding a tree to collect dust is an error. The menu is limited, which is fine but I expect you to do them well. The only thing that has increased are the prices. This is bad. This is bad-bad.

Welcome back it was a little late but not as long as they said it was nice to be back after a year after the fire I had turkey bacon eggs over easy toast french fries prices went up a little bit, but after the fire, I guess it's worth it now they have a little bar area. It seems like it's bigger with more seating. The service was good. The young lady took care of us very nice and friendly even the guy who cleaned up the tables we gave him a tip as well. He's very helpful.

The restaurant has been done. I went on a Saturday and it was a little busy. It took about 10 minutes for us to be seated. Food came quickly and the food is good. I was able to replace pork sausage with turkey which is a bonus. The waitress and assistant were nice and very attentive. Prices went up a little but not too bad. Ambiance is a diner vibe with a bar.

I was one of a last people walking in on a Saturday night almost at closing time. I was surprised by the level of service and attention I received. Speaking from experience, in other places, usually they rush people out to close. Not here! The food was freshly prepared and delicious. The ambiance was great (a mixture of old and new) and everything was spotless.

    I like this picture.

At last!! Our beloved Peter Pan Diner has finally opened. After a devastating fire, the restaurant has welcomed back loyal patrons.Today, I went to have breakfast with my parents. It's situated on the Service Road North at Sunrise Highway. The parking lot was packed. We waited for about 20 minutes for a table. After waiting, we were seated at a booth. The decor is similar to the previous one; it's more warm and inviting with dark bronze and wood tones, with a touch of a beautiful green, that reminds me of the Irish Spring soap. The staff, as always were at all times, polite and met all our needs. I saw that most of the old customers recognized the workers, waiting at their tables; chatting amicably. As for our orders, we're sticking to the classics. Veggie omelette for me.amd my mom, two fried eggs, sausage and toast for my dad. Every was hot and very tasty. We will come back again.

Two Eggs, with cheese, bacon, sausage, home fries and a toasted bagel. Across is a kids slider meal with cheese and fries.

So glad they are back. I returned to Peter Pan Diner today and it was worth the wait. I called the day before because I was going with a party of eleven and they said to arrive about 15-20 minutes early to help prepare. We waited about 25 minutes and and everyone had a great time. The host Rolando was honest and patient and he made sure we were seated comfortably. The service and food were great. Good size portions and everyone's food came out relatively together and warm. I had the scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage, bacon, potatoes and a toasted bagel. It was all cooked well and as I requested. In fact everyone's order was correct even the person who ordered steak and eggs. The staff sang Happy Birthday to my sister and other customers joined in. I loved the atmosphere of the place and the nostalgic pictures on the walls reminding everyone that this place has history! The tab for 11 people to have breakfast was $272 which averages to about $25 per person which was more than fair for freshly made food that didn't taste commercial. I look forward to returning for many more years.

    Opening day March 16, 2026

Grand reopening today March 16, 2026. The diner is completely redone since the kitchen fire 20 months ago. The floor plan has been changed. There's a center bar along the kitchen wall with 2 TV's above. The perfect spot for a single diner or if you want to ang and indulge in an alcoholic beverage. There's some nostalgic photos throughout the diner that speaks to its past history. But all the old charm is gone, no more spin the wheel for a gift card, no more unlimited pancakes, no lunch or dinner specials (maybe later). They even hired a guy who's responsible for their social media. The menu is large enough, some new items like fancy coffee and some bowls. About only 2 Greek items, gyro and souvlaki. Prices are slightly higher than other local diners. Today was opening day so they have a lot of kinks to work out; no mustard, no mashed potatoes, burger not cooked correctly to order. Some tables received their meals, ate and left before we received our food. Service staff was pleasant. Food was tasty and standard. Hopefully in a few weeks things will get better.

So this is the new Peter Pan diner. Reopened last month after the fire. It's clean. It's shiny. It's super busy. My fajitas were good. My old fashioned was good. My server was nice. So this is Peter Pan diner.

So glad to be back at Peter Pan Diner! They did a fantastic job making the place modern, without losing the nostalgic feel. It's great to see a menu with a variety of familiar classics, as well as many with a new twist. If you have Carolina as your waitress, check out her fun earrings (tonight they were gummy worms!). Looking forward to many more years of good food shared amongst great friends!

Went for lunch at the newly refurbished PPD. One thing that hasn't changed is lack of parking tho there really is no room for improvement. One of us had a delicious cheeseburger piled high with raw onions(requested) & extra crispy French fries. Another had a Grilled chicken wrap which was deliciously moist in the thinnest wrap with amazing seasonings & of course fries. Lastly was a grilled chicken salad with tender chunks of chicken again seasoned to perfection. We each were served pickles & cole slaw to start. The place was pristine & bustling with a 20 minute wait. Our waitress Athenna was friendly & very welcoming. The old world pics added to the beautiful surroundings. Maybe have someone drop you off because parking was not good as previously stated. Definitely worth a visit maybe during off hours.

I got there a bit after 8am on a Tuesday morning and about the half the tables were filled with a mix of families, working people and I'm guessing a few retirees. Many must be regulars since they were greeted by name. I sat at the counter so as not to take the only remaining table for two that was available. I was greeted immediately and given a regular menu and a specials menu. A cup of coffee almost magically appeared and I have to say it was one of the best cups of restaurant coffee I've ever had! They have an extensive menu, everything from pancakes to waffles, eggs in every iteration you can imagine, to oatmeal! I decided on a spinach/mushroom/onion omelet with home fries a side of bacon and rye toast. You choose omelets come with one filling, additional are $1 each. The omelet was good but was helped by some salt & pepper. The home fries were tasty with just the right amount of onion but the bacon was overcooked for my taste though I know many people like theirs extra crispy. There were two waitresses and they both were friendly and attentive. By the time I was ready to leave every table was taken but there were still seats at the counter. Now I know why the parking lot is almost always full, especially on the weekend. If you are looking for Home Town restaurant with good food & great coffee this is the place for you!

I like the fact they have a person specifically to serve coffee to everybody that has a cup. The service was very good as well. The waitress Vikki did a great job. They're very quick to give you your food and water first. My friend had the bruschetta avocado toast. I had the avocado, cheddar, and tomato omelette with home fries. 1. The bruschetta avocado toast: They're too generous with the balsamic glaze. They need to lighten it up so you can enjoy the rest of the ingredients. Anything balsamic is typically a strong flavor as a small amount. The avocado, mozzarella and tomato are too heavy for the bread. They should try a more sturdy bread like sourdough to keep it up. The bread they currently use will just break apart. 2. My avocado, cheddar and tomato omelette w/ home fries: The home fries had some good flavor, but could've been better. The potatoes were cut like coins for the most part and I think that kills most of the home fries experience. Usually something like this is diced up to give an evenly crisp and cooked experience. All I really got was flimsy potato coins with some crisp here and there. Which led to the potatoes being soft and dull. It should've been pressed down onto more to give a more crisp flavor and texture. The omelette was pretty good. At certain points it seemed like the avocado was not ripe enough to cook with. It had a similar taste to steamed unseasoned broccoli, then at other portions of the omelette, it seems fine. The cheddar used lacked a bit taste. Overall, it was still good experience. The people are considerate and friendly. I also think they should bring the food out when it's a bit hotter. I'm not saying I need it to burn my mouth, but I don't want room temperature food that is slightly on the warm side.
