Pricy brunch but reasonable quality and options. I had a nuts smoothie and roasted beet salad with salmon. Beet salad has flavors that go together so well, nuts was blended well with a nice smoothness and texture, and salmon was cooked well. Garlic bread was provided and very tasty. Two pieces provided but quality. I like that it is a small amount but done well so that I am not overeating carbs. Very classy. I couldn't finish the salad and took some home. Service and people are friendly.

Florence Prime is an absolute must for anyone who enjoys food. Honestly, if I could I would just leave that as my review. It's a five minute walk from a major transit hub (Roosevelt Ave station), less if you walk like the rest of us. It sits on a busy street that borders on chaos. And, because of that, it feels like an oasis when you walk in. The staff is attentive, the design is modern, and the food is too good for the prices. It's clean and spacious enough (considering the area) and once again I'll mention the food. Latin x diner = delicious. Get breakfast for dinner, get dinner for lunch, get whatever you want and you'll enjoy it. Tell them a stranger on Yelp sent you.

Cuisine: 7 Service: 7 Decor: 7 Value: 7 Overall: 7 Just a solid restaurant all around. We stopped here for breakfast a few days ago and enjoyed everything except the Crispy Belgian Waffles. Maybe my standards are too high because I had the real thing, but these were not crispy or airy, more spongy. Anyway, rest of the food was good. The Sausage Egg & Cheese Roll was nicely done with two circular sausage patties, soft scrambled eggs, on a fluffy roll. Breakfast Avocado Toast was tasty, with two awesomely poached eggs, but the bread was a bit chewy and soggy, not toasty enough. Lastly, the star of the meal was the Chilaquiles Verdes, which was quite good paired with the crumbly chorizo and sunny side up eggs.

Love this place. Not-so-hidden gem right off the 7. Equally good for a casual snack or a special occasion. Menu has a huge selection. I've eaten here four or five times and always left satisfied. Food is well prepared, tasty, and portions are generous. Staff is uniformly welcoming and efficient. Prices reasonable for the quality.

Florence Prime Diner is great for the neighborhood. The location is right off the 82nd street train station on the 7 line. I've visited a few times and posting for the first. Staff is super nice and always come by to refill your water. If you need extra napkins, they got you. A big variety of food options from your typical diner menu as well as others. Portions are nice and it's clean. Typically busier on the weekend.

This place was a very surprising find. Food was absolutely on point and prices are reasonable. We found street parking as it was Sunday and metered parking is suspended on Sundays. The decor was very fresh and green. Full service bar with plenty of draft choices. This time however we opted not to get any alcoholic beverages and stuck with water. Service was incredible, very responsive and proactive server. This place is surprisingly awesome for the area. I really enjoyed the large screen tvs and the decorations weren't too over the top. Over all, I'm very happy with this find. As for food, I'm not gonna lie, it was some of the best I've had in the area. We ordered the Cuban panini with house salad. The Cuban was perfectly cooked, so flavorful and portions were amazing. I also really enjoyed the house salad. It was an excellent salad with so many different vegetables, it had blueberries, mixed greens, beets, char roasted corn, cherry tomatoes, and some other vegetables that I wasn't able to identify but tasted so fresh and paired really well with the salad. Jen had the skirt steak sandwich and paired it with a mix of regular and sweet potato fries. We split our meals so that we can both enjoy each other's choices. It was a power move and no regrets. Both sandwiches absolutely packed with flavor and portions were very good for the price. Overall, I'm really impressed with their decor, food and service. If I'm ever back in the area absolutely will try more of the really expansive menu. Check it out you definitely won't regret it.

The diner looks like a hole in the wall. But once you walk in, it's really spacious and nice. The decor is very clean and upscale, without being pretentious. We were there really early for breakfast. The food was delicious. I was a little saddened by the smallness of the waffle order. It was delicious, not sure if the price was right. My husband was really happy with his omelette and the potatoes were delicious. Considering how quiet it was when we were there, I was disappointed the waiter didn't come by with more coffee or if we needed anything. I would still return, but probably have an omelette next time.

Staff are so nice and helpful, and I really enjoyed my huevos! All the menu looked tasty but I had to pick one. Enjoyed two great cocktails though!

I come here often! Have also brought my friends and family for breakfast and dinner. The ambience is welcoming and comfortable. We love their drinks, food and specials menus. Some of the staff even recognize us and they are always so friendly, attentive and respectful. We love their drinks, especially the espresso martinis and mezcalitas. Some of my favorite orders are the chilaquiles, nachos and calamari. Thank you Florence for being the best Diner in Jackson Heights!

Service was friendly and prompt. Lots of attention to fill your water glass. Wanted to try the roasted beet salad and it did not disappoint. The dressing was just the right amount- not overly drenched or too little. If you like beets , this one is for you. The fries with the chicken club could have been more crispy and less salty otherwise it was fine. The shrimp and linguine was tasty. Good number of shrimps. Food came out without much of a wait. The garlic bread was yummy! Nice and thick and warm. Nice option in a block with many fast food establishments.

The mafadine pasta was a good pick adorned with springy components like pea leaves and a compelling Parmesan vibe. Maybe I like vegetables more than I thought? The steelhead carpaccio special was a stunner. Based on my 1.5 bites of monkfish I'd also endorse that. This may be more of a "DVD extra" but when I originally looked up the QB many of the top-ranked items were breakfasts and some were p-zza (reverse SEO). Based only on lower-left menu placement I would say don't go that route and that specials are a good bet. Again this is only based on 1.5 bites but the eggplant parm special had great sauce. I'm undecided on the watermelon granita which wasn't all that watermelony but spicy dessert was different. I was surprised by how much I liked the edamame, since you can get that everywhere, but the Japanese 7-spice add an intriguing citrus kick.

Food: 3.5/5 We made it a point to try a range of brunch options. My grandfather ordered the sweet potato and chorizo hash, I went with the two-egg combo with pork sausage (eggs over easy), and my husband chose the Moroccan eggs. Overall, the food was good and flavorful, especially if you enjoy dishes with a bit more nuance and influence from Spanish or Mexican flavors. That said, as someone who leans more toward classic American diner-style brunch, it didn't fully hit that nostalgic spot for me. It's not that anything was bad--it just wasn't the most memorable brunch I've had. Still, it was nice to explore a different side of their menu beyond the burgers, fries, and pasta we'd tried before. Service: 4/5 The staff were genuinely kind and welcoming, which made the experience pleasant. However, they do rely on a QR code-style menu, which can be a bit of a learning curve--especially for those who prefer a more traditional ordering experience. During the brunch rush, things definitely got busy and a bit overwhelmed, so service slowed down slightly. One tip: if you already know what you want, it's best to order everything upfront to avoid delays. Vibe: 3.5/5 Like many New York spots, space is tight. Even as a party of four, we were seated at a small square table, which could be challenging if you have strollers or extra belongings. That said, the space still feels cozy and neighborhood-friendly--great for a casual brunch, just not the most spacious. All in all, It's a solid neighborhood brunch spot with interesting, flavor-forward dishes and kind service. I wouldn't call it my top brunch destination, but I'd come back if I were in the area--especially if I was craving something a little different from the usual diner fare.

Apps , we tried the Tostones con Birria very good great tasting meat & Chorizo Mac & cheese , also very good. Main dishes , Al pastor tacos & Chicken Burrito were both very good. Next time we stopped by for brunch, we got the bottomless option tried the Sangrita white, good sangrita price wise makes sense assuming u drinking more than 3-4 glasses a person. On the food Carnitas Benedict & short rib hash were both very tasty. For dessert gave the Tres Leches a try not bad, just the right amount of sweet. Another brunch visit & we tried Paloma spritz, good & Mexican coffee, pretty strong in taste. Chicken & waffles topped with bacon, very good chicken good combo dish. & the Lady's enchiladas great taste the enchiladas w the green sauce & cheese on top. My mother was in town from out of town area, I wake up late and she doesn't. She wakes up really really early. She always has she's and early riser. She's worked in health care for the last 25 years and was an early riser prior anyway. Yo anyway this place was lit. But also so mom was in town and she wanted like hella options. She also kept wanting a gyro the whole time she was is in N Y C. But also on this particular day she didn't wanna hit the legit type beat gyro spot she wanted some else maybe, OPTIONS. So I was planning on taking my mother - and my special friend as well. To "Tina's diner Bushwick New York" but guess what. We got our WAY TOO late. And even tho Tina's was taken over by the dudes who ran ya yas (also low key/high key a solid ass gyro spot) they have added tacos to the menu but kept those same old school azz hours after Tina's retired and moved to Florida (she's deserved it, what a lady) (also remember the rumors?????) anyways... um where was I. Yeah we were trying to go to Tina's which is an institution as many know and it's also closer to my home (in Bushwick near the Jefferson and or Morgan stop) but you know they kept those old school hour 6am to 3pm so we missed them. SO I decided to take my mother and this particular special lady to tastys instead. Tastys I know, arguably (actually probably not arguabley) but better food than Tina's but you know Tina's got the vibes. That old wood paneling and 10 11 dollar whatever basic meat you know wha I mean? I always get the basic meat plus like 4 drinks, milk, large OJ, coffee black (just like my metal) and soda water, and regular water I need the whole pitcher. Anyways we were not at Tina's diner on this particular day we rocked with the tastys. Which is a little further from me but also has more selection, quality ingredients, and old school vibes. Black and white tile flooring, red fancy chairs, you know like tha scene from pulp fiction before emu Thurman ODs or whatever? You know what I'm talking about but the lights are all on and there's a bunch of windows and it's day time and it's beautiful! They have nice plants in there. Anyways, I got a turkey club - it's was PROPER, my special friend got a chicken Caesar salad club (minus the chicken cuz she's vegetarian/ but I asked her to get the chicken on the side / why lose food and waste money you know? I'll eat the chicken you know wha I'm saying? ) and my mother- she went with the gyro after all (reg gyro comes with parchment gyro pretty tasty but hella veggies) my turkey club was PROPER. I also got a delicious VANILLA milk shake COM AT ME. anyways 5 stars will be back . ALSO the beautiful server man gifted us a FREE piece of cake. He said meals come with free desert (idk if that's true but the cake was definitely at least. Day old )) it was supposed to be a tiramisu but I'm not so sure. So good I give it Yummerz out of 100. Plus on top of that the server was handsome. He had glasses.

The lack of attention was infuriating, especially when they were known for great food and great service. That was in 2025... In 2026, let's see what's changed. Decided to invite my mom and sister out for lunch as I was craving a burger. Let's get this out of the way. The food was really good and tasty...pun intended. The waiter started off with taking our order and I thought to myself; oh wow they've actually stepped up their customer service. Much like my San Francisco Giants....that glimmer of hope in the beginning is always met with disappointment 10 minutes later. The waiter decided to pull a Houdini and disappear. He never approached us to ask if we were ok or needed more coffee or anything. The other waiters didn't seem too attentive to the other tables either. It wasn't overly crowded but I decided to give the guy a break. 30 mins later....nothing...no one was around. My mom said she saw the later walk out and then he came back in a few mins later and not once approached us. Finally after losing my patience I ask out loud where is the waiter??? Another waiter comes scrambling and asks what's wrong and I stated we were left alone for almost 40 mins. I needed the check and expressed my disgust; that this was the second time my family and me were treated like this. The manager had the nerve to come and say he didn't charge us for two cups of coffee. I wasn't expecting anything comped but if you're going to make that gesture then do something better. He apologized and honestly, I wasn't having it. The old Tasty's was amazing. Their old staff was perfect and it's sad to see this former Astoria staple has fallen. Prices skyrocketed and service plummeted. Won't ever comeback.
