The service is very friendly and helpful. My waitress was sweet. I got the big bang which came with onions, pepper jack cheese, tomato, and avocado. They forgot the avocado but the burger was so tasty. It was good medium well perfectly. It's a very laid back atmosphere. The restaurant is small so they have some seats outdoor to accommodate. I would come again.
Definitely a hidden gem in Ditmars, Astoria!! Tried few burgers , they were all packed with flavors of their own. We tried out the Mac Attack , Boss Burger and Truffle Theory Burger . Truffle Theory was delicious , the Boss Burger we couldn't finish. Milkshakes were on point !!! Service - 10/10 Christina was very Nice Ambiance - 10/10 Outdoor Setup was nice and Cozy Parking - Metered WiFi- Yes
KX Burger is a neighborhood staple serving up big burgers, shakes, wings, and beer! They have plenty of outdoor seating & service is quick. I really liked the strawberry milkshake, the Nutella one was good too but prefer the strawberry one. The list of burgers is insane (in a good way). I got the bad boy and my friend got the blue chicken sandwich. Both were good (I ate around the blue cheese). I'm definitely coming back. They also serve beer fyi.

If you're looking for a delicious burger spot in Astoria, Queens, definitely recommend KX burger! We started off with their mozzarella sticks, Mac and cheese balls, and Caesar salad (because health) then we got the bad boy burger and the fire grilled chicken sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious!! The bad boy burger was the size of my head, so only get that if you're in the mood for a monster burger. The chicken sandwich had amazing flavor! I never skip on dessert so we got their baklava and a Nutella milkshake and we left there happy campers! They have outdoor dining or indoor dining and the ambiance is super cool. Also if you sit outside they have A/c option if it's a hot summer day! Our server Cristina was amazing and super helpful! Definitely check them out :)

I have been recommending KX Burger to everyone I know since they opened. I absolutely loved their food. I would always get my burgers with a gluten free slice wrap and it was always grilled to perfection and so delicious. Today I made an order for pickup because I was feeling terrible and have a young baby. When I got there they informed me that my order was given to someone else and that they had to remake it and that it could be 15-20 minutes. That's ok things happen. However, I was in a rush to get home to my kid and live a far walk away so the person in charge said they would deliver it themselves personally "in 20 minutes." I didn't ask them to do that. They offered. He gave me his personal number and said to contact him with any issues. I didn't ask for that either. He also took my full name and number. I walk home and wait. I don't rush them. A half hour goes by and he texts saying they are 15-20 minutes away. I casually mentioned that now it's going to be an hour late from my pickup time so he calls to say he's gong to give us a double order to make things right and that he is NOW on his way. We finally receive the food and he is apologetic. So far so good. I open my order and this photo is what I got...twice. I ordered a Sriracha Chicken Burger in a Gluten Free Wrap, sliced. I've ordered from KX many, many times and this is nothing even close to the quality I normally receive. I usually receive a delicious, grilled wrap. I got a dry taco with half melted American cheese on it. I texted the person to show him what I received and I also called him because I figured that would be easier. He said he isn't sure what happened and said he would put in a "request" for a $50 credit for a future order. I hung up and realized that what I received isn't even on their menu and that I have no idea what it actually is so I don't know if the "tortilla" that the food was haphazardly thrown into was safe for me to eat (even though it looked disgusting.) I texted him to find out what it was to know if it was gluten-free or not. It was already 9pm and I just wanted to eat. He said it was the sandwich I ordered but with "no wrap." I then show him a photo of the "tortilla" and he said he couldn't tell what it was and told me to throw it out and not risk it. I expressed my frustration with them delivering food they don't even know the contents of, and said I would like the owner to contact me, but didn't mean immediately. I expressed my frustration with having no dinner when I'm chronically ill and have an infant at home, and he called me to say that while he is apologetic and totally understands why I am so upset and disappointed that he can't answer "all my texts within 30 seconds" because he's dealing with tons of angry customers (I wonder why...) and the cooks are busy and can't tell him the ingredients of what they are cooking. I said "ok" and he hung up. I blocked his number so he can't contact me again. I've lived in Astoria for 15 years and I've never experienced this. The food I received was disgusting and the person in charge couldn't even tell me what I was eating. It's not just about being served disgusting food, it's also the fact that they put me through this whole journey and then at the end of it all I got something that looks terrible and isn't even on their menu. He offered me all this stuff, acted like my friend, told me that he used to work in corporate America and is "built for this", commented on my hometown area code, and told me to call him with any issues. Then he called me to yell at me when I assumed any sort of familiarity in my responses. I honestly want to cry. I work so hard every day and I'm struggling with my health and having a toddler. I'm annoyed, angry, and hungry and after an absolutely horrible day I just wanted to relax and treat myself for once. Instead I ate buttered toast for dinner. The owner is supposed to contact me but this has been so upsetting that there is no point. I'll never order from them again and I will never recommend them again to anyone. Go to Burger Club instead.

I was visiting the old neighborhood and decided to order some take out. Ordering online was very easy and the delivery was right on time. I like to add a few items to my salad and you really can't crew you a salad of your own creation. The veggie burger was their own and I have to admit I was able to try it and I impressed. I'm more of a meat guy but the flavor in this burger had me consider for a moment to grow a bit and change my diet. The side of chips were good but I find take out fries or chips never come out the way they were intended too. Decided to pass by the next day to take some photos and it's located on a nice strip of Astoria. The area is always growing and becoming more.
My friend and I were in the mood for a good burger. After reading a few reviews of different places in the Astoria area KX Burger looked like a winner. I ordered the Mac Attack burger which was a delicious burger that came in a 8 oz beef patty with applewood smoked bacon, sharped cheddar, green leaf, tomato, mac and cheese, and chipotle mayonnaise, comes with a brioche bun along with a side of Sweet Fries and a Nutella Milkshake. The burger, sweet fries and the milkshake were really really good! However the service was not the best. We noticed other people who arrived later than we did were served first and we had to wait a bit long for our order. I am willing to give this place another try just because the food was delightful.
I just ate one of the best burgers I've ever had. It was called the Truffle Theory - Truffle Theory as described in their menu; 8 oz beef patty, Swiss cheese, Sauteed mushrooms, avocado, caramelized onions, green leaf, and white truffle mayonnaise, comes with a brioche bun. It was delicious! My son got "My Blues Chick" ; Buttermilk fried chicken, blue cheese, beefsteak tomato, shoestring fries, mustard, mayonnaise, and comes with pretzel bun. He loved his sandwich as well. The pricing is also reasonable for Queens. My son placed an order for delivery which arrived as expected. The closest I can compare is Five Guys and KX Burger and Beyond far surpasses Five Guys.
My friend and I had a rare craving for a really good burger and was told to give KX a try. We had the Big Bang and truffle theory. We shared bites and was thoroughly impressed. We also had their appetizer platter which I could say had great onion rings. Mac and cheese wasn't amazing but I came for the burgers. Service here was A1. Nice chill joint. A great piece of queens! I've ordered delivery from KX Burger through their website more times than I can count. Delivery is always quick. I got a turkey burger this time, which usually comes with pepper jack cheese, tomato, arugula, sauteed mushrooms, and mayo on a red velvet brioche bun. What I love about this place is the level of customization and the freshness of the ingredients. You can add toppings, cheese, patties, sauces, and sides like hand-cut fries or chips. I substituted the brioche bun for the 8-grain one and added avocado ($12.95 for the burger + $1.00 for bun sub + $1.75 for avocado. The burger was juicy, tasty, and very filling. Outstanding Food! We were craving for hamburgers and fries and we found this place. Cozy little place, very clean and with a lot of hamburgers to choose. No lines, which was great , I was starving lol. We sat down ofc outside, inside dining is closed in NYC , the heaters were great and the service was fast. Everything was clean and they have hand sanitizer on every table. The burgers were so juicy !! they were perfect ! Food ! The Bing Bang Burger - 5 of 5!! comes with everything! so good!!! beef, mushrooms, peppers, avocado Monterey cheese and chipotle mayo!! is great! Finally made it out here. KX Burger was on my list of restaurants to review for a very long time. When I visited there at the end of July, they seemed to be more concerned with takeout than sit-down patrons. I ordered a large blue cheese burger with soda. The burger was solid and well-cooked. Can you ever have TOO much cheese? One would think but after havin the gold burger at kx the answer is clearly no. Red velvet bun, bacon and more cheese then should be legal on a burger. This thing is delicious! I want to bathe in the cheese sauce, its out of this world. This is what makes America Great. Also tried the truffle burger which wasnt as good comparatively but still a delicious burger with swiss mushrooms and truffle flavor that was lackimg a bit but the juiciness of the burger made up for it. Definitely would recommend best burger ive had in Queens. read more

Y'all? That Philly Cheesesteak Quesadilla and them cheese fries!! Plus, mondo thanks to KXBB for being among the businesses rocking out fresh options and helping us find some sense of normalcy as we continue making our way through this pandemic. Definitely an A-OK joint worth checking out. Those points alone are why I'm bummed at feeling KXBB is just a 3-star option (for me. I'm clearly in the minority, and am all about that!). I will most certainly reorder that quesadilla, those fries, and a different kind of shake...plus I'm thinking about making my way through their non-beef burger options. But for this burger lover, a burger joint has to have on point beef burgers as their base, with the rest of the menu (especially the sides) kickin' up their awesome factor. For the price point (even with the awesome thickness and serious ounces they pack into those patties), I wasn't wowed. Tried the truffle theory burger. They nailed the temp! The thing looked pretty good...but I hardly tasted any of the truffle mayo (maybe two bites tasted of the stuff). So it didn't live up to its name sake. I also wasn't wowed by the patty blend. That said, props to using sustainable packaging. Just need better attention to bag packing since they're using ones that don't always hold their shape. So I got a squished bun since that container was on the bottom of the bag, even though it was the lightest of the big containers. The mac & cheese is just no bueno. Not enough cheese sauce, leaving it kind of dry. The breadcrumbs dry it out more. And it was barely tepid (though everything else in the bag was at the perfect temp...). I tried heating it a bit to see if that helped with moisture and creaminess. It did not. Nutella shake...was a nutella shake. Wrapped and packed well. Breakfast quesadilla sounded so good in concept (I LOVE those things!), but their execution was a grilled onion bomb with an after taste of bacon grease. Great grilled onions! But couldn't taste the eggs or anything else one bit. My overall impression is that this is a place you're either gonna love at first bite, or need to try for a hot min to see which menu items work for you and which don't. But definitely worth a try for some fresh, made-to-order splurginess. read more
