I was here on Easter weekend and was actually planning to go to another restaurant to eat burgers, but because the service there was terrible, me and my wife had decided to go elsewhere. I ended up going to try this restaurant for its double smashed burgers and it blew me away. Oh my God this food was so good! My friends and I came here because the spot that we were looking for had closed down. The reviews for here were good so we decided to give it a try. We were NOT disappointed. The chicken strips were well seasoned and really needed no condiments. Best chicken tenders I've ever had. This was the best burger and fries I've had in a longgggggg time, maybe ever. They had both vegetarian/vegan and gluten free options, and both were done great. I will say this is the most expensive meal we have had in New York so far this trip. However I will also say it was semi worth it. My husband and i ordered 2 burgers, 2 fries and 2 cokes. I have nothing nice to say about the fries they are nothing special. However the burger is on point with a fresh bun cooked to perfection with all the fixing on most of the burgers. The mozzarella fritters zero flavor and I don't know who thought it was a good idea to serve it with roasted red peppers on the side but I wouldn't have. I subbed out the fries for onion rings (only $1.75 extra) because I've had them before and they're amazing. The best onion rings I've had (so far) in Astoria. This is heavy on the stomach for sure, even though I only ate half (I could never eat all of this in one sitting). But that just means more bang for your buck, two meals in one!
