I'm very confused by his response to my review. 1. My carpet was not very old or worn out, I just moved into this apartment last year and they were brand new carpets. 2. I have one older child and no pets. The only stains on the carpet were from food in the dining room. No bleach stains, and no other stains on any of the carpets. 3. We didn't speak whatsoever. Only once when I was booking the appointment and that is it. We did not speak after the appointment, during the appointment, and he never commented on my carpets. So in his response to this review, he said he was "reluctant to do the job, he informed me that the carpet was old and needed replacement, he could not do the job and get it back to fully cleaned with no stains so it's just an improvement job". Literally none of those conversations happened. At all. 4. He said this was a restoration job? And it involved multiple cleanings? This was the first time anybody has cleaned my carpet since I moved in a year ago and it was the first time I have ever worked with him so he has only cleaned my carpet once. 5. He did my area rug, it actually made it lose its softness, and it was still as dirty as it was originally after it dried. Again, we did not speak during or after the cleaning so his comment about telling me not to leave the area rug on the cleaned carpet is not true either. Surely he's confusing my house with a different one because his response to my review is completely inaccurate. I'm not sure how he got it mixed up since I wrote the review right after he did my house, so I'd think he'd remember it. I'm hoping his response was a mistake and not purposely lying to account for the issues I wrote. Tony just cleaned the carpet in our home. We have two cats and one dog. He did an exceptional Job! I will never call anyone else. In my opinion he is the ONLY company to call when you need your carpets cleaned, regardless of whether you have pets. The biggest factor in his success at what he does is that he knows carpet types and stains and he knows what will work and what won't. He knew that our carpet was not nylon, etc. It is polypropylene, which is made from recycled water bottles! We never knew this and never treated our pet stains and odors properly. STAY AWAY So many red flags presented themselves yet I still proceeded. First, I called the Tony (949-888-2627). Once I told him my location he began to complain about various clients around me. Between the negative banter, he put me on hold not once, but twice to take other phone calls. I explained my location but by the end of our conversation, Tony had threatened to show up and LEAVE if my apartment wasn't close enough to where he parked. We scheduled an appt for 10am --- fast forward --- 9:51am. Tony showed up and calls me asking, "Where are you, you're late?!! I'm here beating on your door. I have other jobs I have to get to!" I assured him I would be there by 10am, as I was less than a mile away. At 10am, on the dot, I pull up to my apt as he is leaving. Get this, he (the owner) then called me (the customer) to screeeam "I HAVE OTHER JOBS! WHO DO YOU THINK YOU ARE?!" I can't believe the audacity. He has no respect for his customers, nor does he know how to allot enough time for appointments, apparently. Nice guy, explains everything he does and why and the price was, well, good.....................until 3 months go by and the stains that I had that he told me he would remove and they wouldn't come back....DID. A bit worse than before. So, the old saying...you get what you pay for..... seems to be true. I used Pet-Tech to clean my carpet, area rug and couch. He told me they would be dry in55 minutes. 13 hours later they were still wet! When I called him to tell him that everything was still wet he yelled at me and told me I owed it to him to fix the problem. I cant believe I let him come back but I did. He " soaked" up the water and left. I was left with sticky, smelly carpets and couch. My area rug curled up on the edges and I had to redo the area rug myself! Never use this guy!!! DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! I called them stating I had a large living room and a bedroom. Tony himself stated that was 2 rooms and gave me a quote of $42. Before he came, I did what any decent person would do and moved all of my furniture and vacuumed the carpet. He showed up, took a look around and asked to see the pet stains. I showed him and he insisted on lifting the carpet. He was struggling with lifting the carpet , so I asked " will you be able to get that back in to place?" He then became irritated and explained how carpet was made to be lifted and put back into place. so, I told him to carry on. He then lifted the other side and ripped my carpet!! He then said " I don't know if I even want to do this job." "And this is more than two rooms." I said, " what do you mean you don't want to do this job?" " I'm all ready for you." He said " what did you do, move a piece of furniture?" " I didn't tell you to move the furniture, you moved it yourself ." And carried on in an angry tone telling me that was my decision. I have 2 adorable dogs that are not the most obedient and I have also used this service for about 2 years now. It is amazing! I was screwed over several times by Chem Dry and wasted almost $600. When tony came the first time he was extremely honest and even pulled my carpet back and treated the bottom and padding. The price was very very fair especially after dealing with Chem dry. It was very apparent how knowledgeable he is regarding pet stains and urine breakdown-especially the science behind it all. Since then I have him come about every 6 months for a touch up and the price is more than reasonable! I've recommended him to several friends and coworkers who have been very happy with this service as well! My carpet always smells new- which is so important with two little dogs that aren't always reliable with their potty habits. They use some rapid moisture evaporator system, which you only have to wait 20 mins before your carpet is completely dry as oppose to hours. Tony is a nice professional person from my experience.
