Our go to brand the kids haven't stopped enjoying--Nutrisouce Pure Vita, which uses limited ingredients for sensitive tummies. The only caveat to this location? If you're coming in, parking is horrendous due to its location in Seaholm-- especially when you're carrying out a 25 lb bag of dog food each month. They need at least a 5 minute parking zone designated for pickups! Do yourself a favor, take advantage of their free local delivery instead

Store staff indicated that the business offers comprehensive, all-natural nutrition options for both dogs and cats. You will find a broad selection of premium foods, treats, toys, beds, and wellness items. The store also has a Do It Yourself (DIY) dog wash stations. In fact, we got the opportunity to see a dog been washed at the washing station...pretty cool! Some of brands you will recognize include PureVita, Primal, Weruva, Nature's Logic, Earthborn, and Badlands Ranch). It is important to note that Healthy Pet provides free local delivery based on a spend threshold. Healthy Pet also sponsors seasonal events like photos with Santa. Costs tend to be on the pricier side. However, for folks that have children, fur moms and dads often like to provide their fur babies the best, even if a bit pricier.

And I was amazed. My two boys are pretty nervous around most people - one much more than the other (to date, he hadn't willingly let anyone else but me pet him). As soon as Raynor walked in the door, they both sort of scooted out of the room - but after her being there for less than 20 minutes, they were practically eating out of her hand! She has a genuine passion for animals, and it shows. I left my kitties in her care while I was gone for a 5-day weekend, and I returned to find them with little kitty smiles on their faces. Raynor had left a detailed diary of her comings and goings, and evidently, they just loved her. Even my nervous one let her pet him! Having her come by to feed, pet, and play with my kitties while I was gone gave me a peace of mind that - as the previous reviewer wrote - was priceless. My wife could not believe that I would select a daycare and boarding facility with no reviews. She was shocked. I mentioned to her that they were kennel-free. Those were magic words to me; kennel-free. One day waiting for my turn to drop off Stella Blue, I met a young lady who was so excited to drop off her dog. She told me that she had been waiting one year on the waiting list to come here. Told her that her baby was in good hands. In June 2022 my Stella Blue was diagnosed with B Lymphoma. It is a deadly disease; with no cure. B Lymphoma is not contagious. I was worried that DAA would drop us. Many daycare facilities do not want to deal with sick dogs. Instead, she received more love. More hugs. More belly rubs. More beef lung treats; her favorite. The Staff is amazing. Past and present employees. The facility is safe. High fences; seven feet high. Artificial turf in the backyard. Plenty of shade with overhead tents. Pools. Water spray hose to cool the dogs down. Plenty of LOVE. The biggie for me; as you walk in no smell of urine. In some facilities, you smell a stench as you open their front door. BOTTOM LINE, I TRUST DOGS AROUND AUSTIN WITH MY STELLA BLUES LIFE. PERIOD. I will say even though my dog isn't posted during all of his stays, anytime I call they are able to provide me an in time update which I love! At the end of each stay they also give out a report card, which is a nice personal touch. I cannot say enough about the staff in the front!! They are the kindest most friendly people I have ever met and they are able to answer any and all questions in a timely manner!! We needed a session asap, and as Rachel was all booked up for the week, we made an appointment for their other trainer Trish to come by for our hour-long training session at our apartment. (My evaluation was on a Saturday afternoon, and Trish was at our apartment on Monday--talk about a quick turnaround.) Trish was super friendly and got right down to business and asked us what we needed help with. Our big thing was crate training for our puppy, and so she helped us teach him how to start loving the big, scary thing. I couldn't believe how fast he was learning with her, and it was so fun to see him enjoying himself doing things I though it would take him forever to do. We went over a bunch more, and Trish even stayed a few minutes late to be sure all of my questions were answered. We talked about crate training, biting our hands while we played, safe ways to play tug, leash walking, how to help our pup not freak out when we leave the apartment--so much for just an hour! She even left us with a whole page of handwritten instructions for what we had learned. Overall, I was just so happy with everyone at Dog School. Super attentive, really responsive when setting up and appointment, etc., amazing with my dog, and overall they just really seemed to love what they do. Not to mention their training sessions are really reasonably priced. I am so glad we made an appointment, and I'm definitely going to schedule another in a few weeks for some more tips.

The beauty about this place is that they are one of the few places in the area that accepts reactive dogs. I dropped Milo off for a daycare test run and I was nervous all day, but I told myself no news is good news. Of course, when I picked him up there was no concerns. After his first over night stay he has grown to know and love the staff, who I appreciate so much! I read some reviews about how they don't answer the phone, and they do ask for the best response to send email since they are working with many dogs they can't always man the phone. So if you have questions just email them they will get to you in a timely manner. I have asked for progress pics when I had longer stays out of town, and they were quick and happy to respond. There's lots of space for your pups to run free.

Anyhoo, I love them. 1) They're just so darn caring. We met them yeeeeears ago when we lived across the street from their OG location. They were always SO warm and welcoming when we walked in and so helpful finding our baby Jake the right kind of food. 2) Speaking of, they carry the BEST food, treats, toys and bath products for our now two dogs! Psst... they have cat stuff too. 3) Did I mention they are so darned caring? We just went to visit their new spot located right next door to the best vet ever - Paz. Our new rescue dog has been eating grass and apparently not getting enough nutrients so after visiting Paz, we went next door to get some recos from our trusted friends at Prime Pet. Of course, they knew what to send us home with. We picked up some new grub, the boys picked out a couple of treats that smelled good to them (ahem, it all smelled good to them) and we also picked up an adorable squeaky toy that resembles mama's favorite treat - a bottle of Tito's Vodka. ;) I highly recommend making Prime Pet your go-to for pet supplies. If they don't have something you want, let them know! They're also taking all the precautions during COVID so you can be sure you feel safe when shopping.
