Not impressed. Their first person who came out a few months ago wouldn't help at all with sealing entry points, or even pointing out where entry points (for mice or bugs) might be. And beware of the '3 month service plan' they advertise, where they come out quarterly to spray for free: Today, they wouldn't honor it: The last treatment I paid for was on 10/29/19, and so by any honest measure, that means I've paid for 3 months of service, through 1/29/20, for them to do a follow-up treatment for free, as they advertise. But they go 'by month' and not exact date; apparently, they count 3 months as October, November, and December, even though my treatment was on 10/29, at the end of October. How shady! Dishonest people suck. No more. read more

I used Pest Now several times to address bugs in my basement and they were okay. However, when the issue in my basement became mice, PestNow actually made the problem WORSE. All they do is put down bait boxes with poison, and sticky traps. So mice come into your home, eat the poison and die of thirst in your home. Not once, ever, did the technician attempt to find and seal possible entry points. This was their only offered method to address my mouse problem. When I talked to a supervisor at the business, he said if they could get rid of all the mice, they'd be out of business. He also blamed mice in my county on the local restaurants. I changed exterminators. I cannot recommend PestNow. read more

Worst company out there. I called them for a typical home inspection that is required when selling a home. We knew there were no termites and have never had any issue of termites. There was some rotting wood due to rain damage at our garage door which the inspector stated was termite damage. Because this was on a report we had to then pay for remediation by them. Which since there were no termites was a joke. I even tried to talk to the inspector stating it was not termite damage, we pulled the piece of wood off and it was wet, no bugs. I used the promotional inspection cost and obviously the goal for this company is to give you a problem so you have to pay more. A year later they are sending emails that my warranty will expire. I sold the house so I don't care. We never had termites and I'm sure there never will be at that house. Would not recommend. read more

Reasonably priced. Honor appointments and arrive on time. Great service

I bought a new house in Fairfax and didn't learn until settlement that it had termites and had been treated. Prev owner used Pest Now so I called them back to discuss, re-treat and better understand. They've been right on top of things, having a manager out since they'd need to drill by a gas appliance to treat again for termites. I signed up for the regular service and have called them many times in the first month of owning this place - various bees nests around the outside of the house that they removed, and once to retreat after we power-washed the side of the house (assuming I'd removed the chemicals). They're always friendly and helpful and never hassle me about how often I call when I see a bug OUTside since that's the reason to have the regular contract! read more

I called Pest Now to treat a mouse problem and they came out right away to assess and fix the problem. They are highly responsive and offer an effective treatment plan at a reasonable price. I highly recommend them!! read more

PestNow is really great. They are on time and work hard.

Moved to a house over the summer that had been empty for 3-4 months. Yard and house was a happy place for bugs. A friend told me they use Pest Now, so we called them. Best referral in a long time. They have us on a monthly schedule for the yard and quarterly for the inside of the house. The very first treatment made a huge difference. They have come out between scheduled service if we had a problem, and it's all part of their plan. DON'T HESITATE - CALL PEST NOW !!! read more

I had ants, I called, they came with a quote and contract. They sprayed and the ants were gone. They did what they needed to do. Across the board in anything in the DMV, wish prices were less. read more

We have been looking for a quality pest service and have finally found it. they actually listen to our issues and do their best to solve them. the service personnel i have dealt with have been truly helpful and friendly to boot. so glad se found them. and for someone who struggles with computers their payment system is a breeze. read more

We have really enjoyed our experience with Da'Vonte at Pest Now. He has been very responsive and exceptionally knowledgeable about the insects we have had problems with. His interventions were minimally invasive and worked immediately from ants in our kitchen to carpenter bees boring into our wood. He has taught us a lot about the insects and how they behave and what the best treatments are for managing them. The prices are reasonable, and they have great customer service. They've bene a great choice for us. read more

Pest Now did a great job in meeting our pest control needs. I wanted to get an initial exterior treatment especially for ants around the deck. It was easy to make an appointment , the technician was on time, and thorough. I will definitely have them back in the fall for interior service. I highly recommend. read more

Easy to work with -fair on pricing and my ants are gone!! Support your local business.

Be careful if you hire this company. They are the right price but that isn't always the answer. They came into my home when I was trying to sell it and reported there was a live infestation. Luckily, I had hired a company only months before that proved that there was no infestation. It made me afraid I wasn't going to be able to sell my home. Ask them to show you proof of infestation if they claim there is one. read more

I can't say enough about them! From my initial call to my experience with Marcus it was wonderful. He addressed my Ant problem and explained everything he was doing and was professional and just awesome! I would highly recommend them to anyone. Most companies I've dealt with in the past frankly I found to be shady. These guys were straight forward and honest They resolved my problem showed up exactly when they promised. I have absolutely nothing but positive to say. read more

Pest Now (Formerly named Superior Pest) is the only pest service I would use. My Realitor originally recommended this company and have been using them for over 10 years. They have helped me deal with various ant types, carpenter bees, wasps, mice, rats and cockroach. The staff who come out to my home are courteous and knowledgeable. Scheduling convenient appointments is easy, staff are always on time and I like the emailed invoices with the recap of the services done. read more

I have used PestNow for years in my real estate business and for my personal home. They are always on time and are easy to schedule an appointment with. Their pricing is fair and anytime we need something last minute they always accommodate. We had an ant problem in our home and after they came out only one time I've never seen another one, we use them on a quarterly basis to spray and will continue to do so. Great company! read more

So happy with our service !! The technician is very helpful and knowledgeable. Our service contract is also very reasonable.Highly recommend this company !! read more

We had a major mouse situation, even after complying with PestNow's quarterly visits, this winter. When we contacted they come out quickly and are always nice and friendly but them their only strategy was moving bate stations around and setting down sticky traps that caught nothing and we still found mice after dealing with this for over two months. We have changed our exterminator, I'm frustrated we wasted time and money with this company. read more

I used a different company but switched to Pest Now for their more reasonable rates. So far so good. Their staff has been professional and very helpful answering all my questions. I have been very impressed so far. read more

Good customer service initially, but not satisfied at all with the treatments. After an initial extermination, we have been (supposedly) having the outside of our house sprayed quarterly over the last year (at their recommendation) and we're still getting ants. Finally called and canceled the service entirely and they didn't even ask why. I'm guessing they probably already know. read more

UPDATE: This is the most unprofessional, rude, and despicable business I will ever have to deal with, both now and in the future. I wish I can give 0 stars, but unfortunately don't have that option. Every time service was requested, there were issues such as not showing up on time 2 out of 5 times, coming early without consent, and shoddy services, which culminated in abruptly cancelled service today. I found another service with comparable price that treats me with proper respect. NEVER EVER dealing with this pathetic excuse of a company again. read more

These guys are great. First of all their prices are beyond affordable and they never try to sell you other services. When you make an appointment they are always on time, a nice change from most companies where you have to sit around for hours waiting. I highly recommend Pest Now. read more

I used Pest Now at my previous home with good success. They would inspect and notify if there were any issues I needed to be concerned about - never pushy, just informative. When I moved I decided to only keep two of the vendors I had been using previously and Pest Now was one of them. They show up, as promised, once a quarter, and if warranty service is required - meaning you see bugs in your home - they will come out as often as necessary to make sure they have addressed the issue. I am impressed with their customer service and would recommend them to others. read more

We have been using pest now for 2 years. We moved into our new home and almost immediately have little ants everywhere. We have signed up for their quarterly service and could not be happier. We had to call them a couple times to retreat and they always respond super fast. I email them tell them We have ants and within minutes have an email with a 2 hour window. (This is awesome bc who has time to sit on the phone, when you can just email.) They have always shown up with in the window and wear protective booties on the house. The technician is always very respectful and explains things in details. They are also super respectful of your property making sure to lock the gates after they leave. We would not hesitate recommending them to others. I should add I hate using chemicals in the house bc of the dogs and baby so we get the exterior treated and only treat the inside if we still see activity. They are absolutely willing to come back as many times as needed and will do what you are comfortable with which is huge for someone who doesn't want the chemicals and has a fear of anything that moves. They also email you the statement before pulling out of your driveway. How convenient! read more

Had issues with ants in my kitchen, contacted Pest Now because I was looking to see if I could have a locally owned business provide service. In hindsight, what a mistake that was. They came out and treated my house by spraying inside in the areas where the ants were. They did not put any bait out, nor did they treat the outside of the house. 2 days later the ants were back in force with a visible trail from the back of the house to my kitchen counter. I called Pest Now back and they told me that it would take up to 10 days for the treatment to take effect. They came back about 8 days into the treatment and again spot treated. Three weeks into issues in my kitchen with ants (infestation ever spreading) I gave up on Pest Now and called Orkin. What a difference! Their service tech spent over an hour at my house, sprayed everywhere (all through the house and outside too - even in my tool shed), and put bait out in strategic locations. When he put the bait out I really saw a bunch of ants swarm the bait and was happy that I hadn't wasted any more time with Pest Now. 24 hours later and no sign whatsoever of ants. I sent a request for a refund to Pest Now and received a snippy response stating: "Pest control is based on science, not magic". Fair enough - buyer be warned, don't waste $85 like I did. Call Orkin first. read more

This review is MAINLY for my new guy, Jeremy Laskin. I've been with Pest Now since I bought my house in 2008. It's economical and my main concern is termites. I haven't thought much of it since I haven't experienced noticeable pest besides the occasional spider and cricket. It once observed what I believed to be signs of termite infestation and pointed it out to Pest Now. They returned the following week to treat the area. BUT, this year I have a new guy, Jeremy, who is AWESOME! He pointed out changes I could make to prevent pests AND just to overall improve my home. Dude was AWESOME! He's a great representation of Pest Now. I wondered why my old guy never pointed these things out?! I'm serious, when Jeremy left I felt like I had been to school. Hopefully ALL of Pest Now employees are just as sharp! I'll stay with them a bit longer now. I recommend Pest Now and especially Jeremy Laskin. read more

We only just had a reason, well actually about 1000 reasons, to call Pest Now to come take care of a ground bee nest under our porch. In the first hours following the treatment, the bee population dropped off noticeably and then after a couple days our problem was no longer a problem. All the people we've come across from the company have been wonderful and knowledgeable; they even followed up with us the same day we had our bee treatment to make sure things had gone well and we were happy about the service. I really appreciate the attention to detailed customer service. read more

I had their services for pest and rodents at 2 of my properties. Several months later rodents and pest are still present in my homes. I don't want to take all the credit away from them, they did come out when I'd tell them I saw activity. However, I'm not sure what all their treatment consists of but it is evident that it was not working, especially for the mice. read more

As part of the process of selling my home, the buyer's agent hired Pest Now to perform a terminte inspection two days before closing. Although the property had no history of entomology issues, they "found" evidence of activity in the garage. Oportunistic, perhaps, but I took it as the cost of doing business. During both visits to my property, the technicians set off the burglar alarm; running away after the first activation. The technician didn't follow the established procedure to get the codes from my realtor, or the central showings service. They came back later in the day to conduct the inspection. The following day when they arrive to treat the property, they set the alarm off once again. When I was notified by my alarm company that there was an activation, I asked them not to dispatch the police, knowing that Pest Now once again set off the alarm. In hindsight, I would have let the polic arrive to arrest them. Two days in a row shows a lack of caring, and/or education. My home security cameras clearly show the Pest Now technicians at my home on both days. When I came home to check on the work, I found empty beer bottles on my counter. I was shocked to see that they had taken beer from my fridge, drank it, and then left the bottles in my kitchen. Drinking on the job while working with toxic chemicals is far from the sign of a professional company. I contacted both my realtor, as well as the buyer's realtor to convey my disgust with Pest Now. This morning, I called and spoke with a manager at Pest Now. He appologized for the alarm activations, and even offered to pay for the fines. Unfortunately, he told me the completely unplausible story that "someone must have broken in and drank the beer. My guys don't drink." Suggested that I call the police. My house is under video surveillance, and also alarmed. The video shows only Pest Now technicans going in and out. There were no other alarm activations other than the two caused by Pest Now that are supported by surveillance video. This company took $560 of my money and provided horrible service. I didn't choose them, and you shouldn't either. If you're a realtor, you should not work with this company. read more

Fitz, from PestNow, did a complimentary termite inspection and did a great job explaining what he was looking for and why. It's great that a local business has stood the test of time and continues to thrive. Did you know that every time a home is sold and a lender is involved a termite inspection is a part of the process? PestNow is very responsive to last minute calls and generates a prompt report documenting the results. Recommend home owners stay vigilant against termites and other wood-destroying insects, as problems can hold up a contract settlement, and nobody wants that! read more

Great pest control company in the area! Excellent customer service and their pest control services work for us!!

Great pest management company. Mosquito treatments worked through the summer and they were very responsive to an ant problem in our kitchen. Happy we switched to them this year! read more

Performed a thorough inspection of our home and provided clear next steps required. Thank you!

When I called them to stand by their warranty and take care of a nest, the man answering the phone said it was the wrong number, and after hearing foreign accent tried to give me a loyalty test. After poor pest treatments from another exterminator, I was informed about Pest Now. The company provided what I needed to be prepared for treatments. Mr. John Conner, the Pest Now exterminator, explained what he was going to do and how many treatments were needed. He was very professional and on time for every treatments. He answered all my questions. I felt very comfortable having him spraying my home and I received reassurance he would come back if the problem continued after the end of the treatments. read more

Service started out great. They routinely came out and sprayed the inside and outside of my home. They would spray the exterior of my home when no one was available and leave a notice on the door. Suddenly the notices were being mailed...strange I thought, since someone should have been there to administer the pesticide and could leave an invoice while there. When I called to address/confirm if anyone had actually come, I received a somewhat rude & uninterested response. I have requested they notify me before each visit going forward so that I may ensure someone is home, they haven't been back in over 6 months... read more

I said I would follow up with a review after my "problem guests" moved out. I am happy to say that, so far, so good. We have been bed bug free for over a month.
