Wasp / Bald Faced Hornet Nest Removal/ Yellow Jacket Treatment. Upon arrival, a thorough inspection was made. A German yellow jacket nest activity was spotted right to the left side of a soffit of a bay window. The technician spoke with the occupant and advised him about the treatment as a precautionary measures. A direct treatment was made into the nest by the entry points and a broadcast treatment around the front of the house, cracks and crevices to avoid a recolonizing situation or future stinging insect nests. The technician did a thorough job. I didn't have to call the company a second time during the 45 days warranty period. Will hire again if I need to resolve a pest issue. read more

Very confused about cancellation. Don't notify me when sending people out. Otherwise ok. Mosquito service seems to deminish bites.

I never used them. But they were very attentive when I was looking. Have to imagine they'd provide great customer service.

Horrific /Traumatic Experience / Service . Their worker loudly knocked on my door after I left a No Service needed sticker bc I my loved one was dying on hospice inside . The tall younger brown haired man then mocked the note loudly then knocked AGAIN. I came and told them someone was dying inside my home and closed the door only to hear him yet again mocking me and laughing . Their worker loudly knocked then After I opened to door to tell them and decline service he loudly laughed "Someone's Dying ok!!" I have no words for how disgustingly unprofessional cruel and unnecessary behavior . I live in the carlton va. I will speaking with Cmc corporate soon to try and remove you as contractors . There are no words to rectify simply fire your trashy liability to be worker Firing him may be in your best interest to avoid a lawsuit. I believe he is the Pest we need to exterminate . read more

Technician called to inform me that he was enroute and provided an estimated time of arrival. Once he arrived he inspected the areas that needed attention before starting the work. He explained to me what he was going to do and why. He returned to as stated in the contract agreement to retreat and to caulk areas that were potential areas where the pest could enter my home. I found the technician very knowledgeable and thorough. read more

More updates to my earlier lousy review. Once again, the American Pest technician did not show up to my house for a scheduled service. He was supposed to be here today between 10-12 and never showed up. I called Leonard Cole, the person who scheduled the appointment for today, and he said there have been problems with their system. These guys absolutely are the worst! If I could give a negative rating I would. Scheduled a terminate inspection...no show. Called to determine status, told by the person I called they did not have me on the schedule but would have the person that schedule the appointment call me. No call two hours later. Called back...hung up on. Called again, reached answering service. Asked to contact owner. Told the owner doesn't receive calls. Settled for a "tech" to call me. No call Not sure these people have the ability to even close an umbrella. If you need support, call anyone else in the industry. These folks are a double threat. They don't care and they don't know how. UPDATE: Finally called by a manager. Scheduled inspection for the next day and conducted inspection himself. Apologized profusely and conducted the inspection free of charge. Terrible start but I must safe recovered nicely and did the right thing. read more

I am completely disappointed in this company. I booked an appointment in mid May for a technician to come out on June 26. The technician called me on May 26 to coordinate stopping by, so I had to explain that the appointment was for June, not May. He was happy to reschedule the appointment for the date I initially requested. The day of the appointment comes and my husband and I wait for nearly 2 hours, only to get a call explaining that our technician was attacked by hornets and on his way to the ER. Not a problem, I say, but I really need this done because as I explained when I made the appointment this was a move out item required for our rental property and our inspection is on June 30. So we really needed someone to take care of this ASAP. I called first thing Monday to see if somebody could come out on Monday, but of course no one was available and the earliest they could do it was Tuesday morning between 7 AM and 9 AM. So I happily drove the hour from my new house to my previous address to be there by 7 AM. The technician, Dwayne, was excellent. He was the only good thing about this whole experience. I was told on Saturday that they would be giving me a discount due to the fact that the technician wasn't able to show up. When I called back today after the services were done, there was nothing in my account about a discount, even though the rep who called me on Friday mentioned it. I was told to speak to Jennifer, but that she was on the phone and that she would have to talk to her supervisor about it. At this point, it's not even about the discount. It's about the sheer frustration of getting this done. I just paid the bill in full and I'm calling it done. I'm very understanding and obviously the technician couldn't help getting stung by hornets, but I am just less than impressed with this whole experience. I am actually very happy with this company. Although the first guy that showed up for my stink bug and silver fish issue missed areas and I still saw very alive bugs once he left, the company sent someone out earlier to complete the work he missed. I also needed a last minute bee hive taken care of- one that the first guy walked over and didn't alert me about (which he could have taken care of then) and they reduced the cost since they came back out within 48 hours of his visit. Haven't seen those yellow jackets again (and I got stung so not very happy). Working on month 2 or 3 and only the stink bugs came back (but I blame the weather). I am also very happy that they are able to fully converse with me via email as I am super busy during normal business hours - thank you Lindy and Margaret for working with me!!! read more
