She listened intently as I voiced my concerns and was completely honest and transparent about what the likely remedy and outcome would be. She provided an estimate and informed me that they could remediate the situation the next morning. The next morning, another team member showed up and went to work. We used a different company in the past and switched because we still experienced breakthrough mosquitoes. We hired Backyard Patrol and were able to enjoy the backyard over the summer without getting decimated by mosquitoes & ticks. Not sure what formula they use but it works well. A Very reliable service. Emails communications are fantastic! Customer service is awesome, very responsive. After rain, there were breakthrough events but not bad at all and they would show up right after to spray us down. I believe the key is regular and early initiation of service to combat the problem. I don't care if other critters are taken as well, a reduction in fire flies for instance. but we enjoy fire fly watching from one home down. A very small sacrifice IMO for the health and safety of my family. It's worth it to me. We still get bites on occasion, especially right before our next scheduled service, but it's 1000 times better than it was before. I am a mosquito magnet and before we started treatment I was consistently covered in bites from early May to late October--often getting 5+ bites within only a few minutes of being outside. Every time. Now I only get about 5 bites the whole season. The difference is amazing, and we are very happy with the company's service overall. Absolute panic set in and the first company I dealt with came in with a dog. The dog "alerted" all over the house including the basement and they wanted $7k to treat the whole house. I thought this was odd so I got a second opinion. I called Bed Bug & Beyond. The gentleman Charlie was very thorough and answered all my questions. After the inspection it was determined there were no bed bugs in my home at all. He was quite sure of this. He took the time and explained to me that there is often a "latency" period from the time you get a bed bug bite to the time when the bite appears on the skin. In other words, I got bit while on vacation, but fortunately no bed bugs traveled back home with me. I was quite skeptical of this as well. He said to just wait a few days to see if any more bites showed up. Well it's been two weeks and he was right. I never had any bites ever again. Nor has anyone in my family. I had spotted a small mouse in my back yard as I was grilling last night and learned from my tenant that she had seen one as well at the front of the house. Donald pulled out the big guns and put one of those industrial-looking weighted rodent traps out - this one can't wander off or get tipped over. Any humane pest control company will safely remove and relocate large mammals and any babies in nests. DO NOT USE Undertaker Pest Control! *The babies were safely trapped by a wildlife rehabber and taken to a rehab facility.
