We called My Exterminator with high hopes after reading their positive Google and Yelp reviews (which are all 3+ years old!). Three treatments and $1200 later, our bedbug problem was not just unaffected, but actively MADE WORSE by the technicians utter incompetency and lack of care. I'm writing this review to spare others the expense, pain, itching, and emotional drain of dealing with this totally incompetent and untrustworthy company. MyExterminator, AKA Enviro-Tech Pest Services (Both companies in the contract) portrayed themselves as experienced bedbug professionals who assured us their treatment would easily take care of our bedbug problem. After forking over $1200 for a 2-spray treatment, we were greeted by Chris the technician, who immediately dispelled any illusions we had about MyExterminator's professionalism. He arrived to every appointment over two hours before the appointment we set (and took time off work to be at home for). He clearly was putting in the bare minimum effort, and after telling us "this will be too easy," applied the spray with utter carelessness and was not thorough at all. He didn't even bother to lift or move objects to spray behind/under. Worse, MyExterminator's technician clearly didn't know ANYTHING about bedbugs. When shown the bed-bags we had around our mattresses (a basic treatment step mentioned by just about every online source out there), he cluelessly asked "what's with those bed condoms??" Worse, the technician didn't have a clue about what the chemicals he was using were or what they did. The second time he came to treat our home, he was so checked-out that he mistakenly used Tallstar (general bug spray for roaches) instead of CB80 (spray formulated primarily for bedbugs). When my roommate caught the mistake, he called a manager at MyExterminator who told him "Sorry about that, we'll have him switch chemicals." The manager proceeded to call the tech and tell him privately "not to worry" about spraying the wrong chemical and that they were "basically the same." Of course the tech told us this and left without fixing his mistake. Before hiring them, MyExterminator had promised us verbally numerous times that the 2-treatment spray came with a 1 month warranty, during which we would get a free follow-up treatment if we found a live bedbug. Of course, MyExterminator's careless treatment was ineffective, and when we called back to ask for our treatment under warranty, MyExterminator claimed the warranty "wasn't in the contract" and that they wouldn't honor it. After confronting them about their verbal promises, MyExterminator claimed to have a "computer malfunction", hung up, and ghosted us for a few hours. Though MyExterminator eventualy agreed to honor the warranty they promised us, when the technician arrived, he once again sprayed in a careless manner. Worse, he failed to close the bed-bags on our mattresses again before he left, allowing the bedbugs trapped inside to escape back into the home. The tech's completely reckless conduct actively made our bedbug problem worse. Take your money elsewhere! read more

Used this company when they were My Exterminator and LOVED them, but they changed 2 years ago to Enviro-Tech and everything changed-- not for the better. New owner, communication about appts not timely and even rude when problems with conflicting info sent by office. Told we were getting a special favor by company based on being former customers of My Exterminator, which seemed odd. Guy who showed up was 2 hours earlier than window given, did not contact us to tell us this once on site, missed the ant bed we had specifically said needed treating, never moved aside trashcans (2 empty wheeled carts, nothing heavy or difficult) to ensure all areas checked, did not check areas their techs always knew to check for pests, just nothing like services before. Guy was more interested in selling us on new packages for their "green" service, which is great but we had a service contract we wanted and liked. Seems they had decided to do more not related to pest control and new focus confuses those who were grandfathered in. Just not impressed and being insulted via phone by new owner was beyond unnecessary. read more

Usually in the beginning of the Spring season we usually have one or two wasp nest around, it really gets annoying because a lot of the time we are exempt from using the patio because they come out in mass. We needed a Company to come out and take these guys out, we wanted a local Company whose work ethic reflected on the reviews we heavily rely on. Searching the different social media avenues, we found My Exterminator out of Woodbridge, VA 22191. We explained to the administrator the situation we were having and the vicinity they were located and immediately scheduled an appointment for them to come. They sent Zack Hinojosa who is one of their technician, Zack is by the way the most professional technician with superior work ethic. He arrive, explained exactly what he was going to do and took care the problem, answered all my question after the job was done. I also explain to him that I was having another problem with the mosquito, flies and rats (coming from a new construction site happening next door to us), he provided a remedy to reduce the attraction of these problems and is now providing service for both. If you ever in need of an exterminator, I strongly recommend this company and ask for Zack as the technician, you will NOT be dissapointed. read more

My husband found something in our basement that looked suspicious while wrapping pipes, my first guess was termites! I sent out requests to at least ten local pest control companies, and Bill was the first to respond. He provided a free check of my house, quoted me for service (which included a warranty and the possibility of transferring the warranty if we need to sell our home) I had other pest control companies inspect the termites, they could not beat Bills prices. We are very lucky it got cold, and the damage is very minimal! Bills employees came out today and treated my home, answered all my silly questions, were very respectful with wearing covers over their boots, and took extreme care with the hose since it had to be run through our living room to access the backyard. They patched the holes in the cement and on my back deck, and swept up all mess! Thank you for taking care of my home! I'm letting all my neighbors know to call you first! read more

Everything from setting up the appointment, to the service technician that came out (Corey) and his knowledge/expertise in regards to my pests were excellent. My fiance and I moved into a new home this May on acreage in the woods, and we were greeted with an unexpected surprise...millipedes! Not a couple of them, hundreds, if not thousands of them!! We tried a couple of different chemicals around the house perimeter and nothing would touch these millipedes. I called a local 5 Star Yelp company, and the quote was ridiculously high and not affordable for our small family. I finally did the smart thing and we called My Exterminator. Bill's quote was way more reasonable and fit in with our budget. He was able to get Corey out to our house first thing the next morning. We were VERY IMPRESSED with Corey and his ability. He was knowledgeable, reassuring, and delivered great customer service. Our property was treated with a few chemicals, and he explained the safety and effectiveness of them before they were applied. It's been almost a week, and I am seeing significantly less live millipedes...and lots of casualties!
